Friday, September 7, 2018 (S56E109): Happy Anniversary

Sam is talking to Jason when Drew shows up at her place; he says he is there to see Scout… she invites him in.  As he holds their baby girl, he tells Sam that time is precious and goes by too fast; he reveals to her that Oscar has an inoperable brain tumor.  She says Oscar must be so scared; Drew tells her, “that’s the thing…” – Sam doesn’t understand why Kim wouldn’t want him to know; Drew tells her Kim doesn’t want Oscar worrying about dying, she just wants him to live, like a regular teenager.  Sam asks, “what about you?”  Jos shows Oscar the bench she had all set up for them; she says, “it looked a lot less pathetic last night.”  He tells her that it looks wonderful to him.  Jos tells him that she has realized they still have a lot to learn about each other; Oscar agrees and says he looks forward to it.  He asks Jos what she has always wanted to do, but never has; she says to make out with her boyfriend in the woods.  They run off together for a while, then Oscar gets a call from his mom; they agree to make a sort of “bucket list” together since they still have so much life to live.

Kristina walks into Charlie’s looking for a job; Julian is surprised she still wants it when she finds out he is the owner.  He tries to say, she shouldn’t work for him because her dad will get mad about it; she says that should be an incentive.  Valerie comes in to deliver Julian’s building permit, which has been approved; she is tickled to see Kristina.  As she leaves, Mike gets up and runs out of the bar; he ducks behind the corner of the building as she goes by.  He wonders off by himself, down into a basement; he shines a light on the wall and pulls out a wrench.Sonny gets a call, telling him that Julian’s permit has been approved; he’s pissed.  Jason tells him he has a plan to make sure Julian doesn’t find the body during his reconstruction; he says they will make sure he can only afford the crew they want on the job.  In the end, he agrees to hire Kristina; he tells her she can start now.

Back at Crimson, Nina is delivered a package; it has all of her mother’s belongings… jewelry box, etc.  Nina cries a little bit as she unpacks it; she reads a note that says “this will mend a broken heart” and gasps… Maxie asks what it is.  It’s a necklace from her childhood, with significant memories; a half heart.  She wonders where the other half is.  Suddenly, it dawns on Nina that her mother might be telling her that her child is alive; Nina begins crying.  The informant tells Curtis about the birth of Nina’s baby girl while she was in a coma; he confirms Madeline Reeves’ picture as the “client.”  He says she kept the pregnancy “under wraps” and had him find a home for it after it was born; Curtis asks whom he ended up giving the baby to.  He says he doesn’t know; he got rid of all the records long ago.  He says he wishes he could do more to help; Jordan has the officers take him back to his cell.

Thursday, September 6, 2018 (S56E108): Let it Go

Stella stops by to visit Mike; Carly shows her to the porch, where Mike is talking and laughing with Kristina.  Kristina is searching for a job and disappointed to see little for non-college graduates; Stella says it looks like Mike is doing well today.  Carly says, “yeah, but it’s still early.”  Mike goes out with Stella for lunch; she gripes about Jordan and Curtis.  Mike tells her she has to “let it go.”  He tells her to think about it like a horse race; she has to decide how much she’s willing to risk.  He calls it “desperation stakes.”

Curtis is in a motel room, searching for more clues on Valentin’s behalf.  He hears a knock on the door, and the voice of what sounds like room service; he tells them to go away.  They knock again, and call out; he opens the door to see Jordan standing there.  He welcomes her in; he gets a call… the man he came there to interview is ready to talk.  Anna tells Valentin that her abduction was tied to Cassandra Pierce; he looks to be surprised.

Nina’s mother’s funeral begins; Maxie escorts her and they are both stunned for a moment to see that the chapel is empty.  Nina says she shouldn’t be surprised; her mom died and no one cares.  As Nina stands there, Obrecht shows up in a ragged old, baggy, hooded jacket; she tells her she needs to go before Maxie gets back.  She says a few words, trying to make Nina feel better; Nina hands her a few dollars and she hobbles off like a homeless woman when Maxie comes to get Nina.

Wednesday, September 5, 2018 (S56E107): Ignorance is Bliss

Chase stops by the Intruder and asks Peter what his intentions toward Anna are; he tells him she is the one person in his life who wants to make peace with him.  Finn and Anna talk about how nice it is to be home again.  Anna tells Finn that Peter has decided to stay in town, rethink his life and start over; she wonders if that might include her.  Chase shows up at the door to talk to them; Anna excuses herself.  Finn and Chase talk business, at first, but the conversation turns more intimate when Chase tells Finn he had a chat with Peter August; he doesn’t think he will be a problem for Anna again.  Finn smiles.  Anna goes to see Peter; he tells her he really doesn’t want anything to do with her.  She accepts that, but says if he ever changes his mind, or needs anything, she will be there.

Drew comes to the hospital and asks Elizabeth what is wrong; she tells him to just go see his son.  He finds Kim, crying over Oscar; he tells his dad he passed out from low blood sugar… he says he’s fine.  It’s not a big deal; Kim runs out of the room.  She tells Elizabeth she doesn’t know what to say to Drew; Liz says she should just tell Drew the truth.  She promises not to tell, but encourages Kim to do so; Kim worries it will color every remaining minute they have left with Oscar.  Liz says it might help; Oscar tells his dad he tries to stay on top of it, but today was so hectic, trying to get ready for his date with Jos.  Drew questions Kim about what else is wrong; she tries not to tell him, but breaks down and says “he’s sick Drew, and I can’t save him.”  She says he has a malignant brain tumor and it’s inoperable; Jos arrives at the hospital

Oscar shows Jos a montague he made of their first year together; she smiles as she watches and says they’ve had so many great times.  He says they will have lots more; she agrees, they have “so much to look forward to.”  Drew insists there must be something they can do; it doesn’t necessarily agree with Kim’s decision not to tell Oscar about his condition.  He thinks he should know.

Tuesday, September 4, 2018 (S56E106): Today’s the Day

While Jos is setting up a surprise in the park, for her and Oscar’s first anniversary, Oscar stops by to see her; Jason agrees to wait with them.  They talk, then Oscar gets up, begins to feel faint and suddenly has a seizure; Jason rushes him to the hospital where he finds Kim.  She doesn’t seem that shocked by the news; she turns down the orders for a CAT scan and MRI, saying she needs to speak with his specialist first.  She asks Liz if Terry is on duty; Elizabeth realizes, Terry is an oncologist… Oscar has brain cancer.

Jos gets frustrated when Oscar doesn’t show and begins to wonder if he is angry with her still over her shoplifting; she says she is a total screw up… but Cam jumps on the opportunity to tell her she is awesome, “the best” he says.  He smiles at her and tells her she’s amazing; she smiles at him, pretending not to believe him.  He says he “really, really,” means it, and he kisses her; Oscar says he needs to go… Jos is waiting for him.  Jason tells Kim she needs to let Drew know; she asks how she is supposed to tell him the son he only just got to know is dying.

Ryan takes the unconscious Kevin and changes clothes with him; he puts Kevin in the straight jacket and gives him a sedative.  He tells him it was nice to see him again, and says Kevin’s problem is that he is too damn nice.  He tells Gordon not to listen to anything that patient says, telling him “he is a master manipulator.”  The guard promises to keep an eye on him and to be extra careful.  Kevin wakes up and tries telling Gordon it’s him; he says the doctor said he would say that, and he injects him with a sedative.

Tuesday, August 28, 2018 (S56E105): How Long Can We Keep Doing This?

Carly and Jason talk about the incident last night; Sonny comes in and tells them he has come to a decision about what to do with his father.  He and Carly go to look at some facilities.

Lulu tells Felicia and Maxie that her new boss (Peter) is running a piece on the Ryan Chamberlain murders, for the 25th anniversary.  Kevin goes to visit the patient, who was Carly’s former neighbor in Ferncliff; the patient says, “:it’s nice to see you again, Kevin.”  Kevin says the orderly told him he has been claiming to be him again; Ryan says he can’t help himself.  Maxie, Lulu and Felicia talk about the time Ryan kidnapped her and killed others in town.  Kevin tells his brother that he should have given up on him long ago, but he still hasn’t; Ryan says maybe he should have.  Kevin says he will see him again in a few days, and turns to leave; he gets a text message and glances at it.  Ryan jumps up and kicks him from behind, knocking him to the ground.

Nina, while talking to Valentin, gets a call from Pentonville; they tell her, her mother is dead.  Alexis tells Julian it would probably be best if he wasn’t there at the hearing; the hearing is about to start, and Brad is freaking out.  He tells Julian that he thinks maybe he and Lucas should just take Wiley and run; Diane comes into the courtroom, without her client.

Monday, August 27, 2018 (S56E104): Who's There?

Mike is terrified when he sees Sonny pointing a gun at him; Sonny is frustrated.  Carly hugs Mike and asks him to sit down with her to have some tea.  Sonny asks “what if I had pulled the trigger?”  He asks how long their luck will last; Jason says they can adjust security.  Sonny tells Carly they had a perfect day; he feels like that’s all been ripped away now.  Kristina talks with Sam about her relationship with Parker; in describing their relationship, it appears that it is all about Parker and her needs.  Sam asks Kristina what she wants, for herself; she isn’t sure.  Sam tells “Krissy” that it took her a while to be able to get up in the morning, and look at herself in the mirror and love herself and respect herself, and be honest with the people she loved; she says you have to do that before you can build a meaningful relationship with another person.  She offers to go back with Kristina to talk to Parker in person, and to help her pack her bags to move home.

Griffin tells Ava that he is certain she had that blanket and got Julian to put it in Jonah’s room; he says he knows she is the one who helped Nelle send Carly to Ferncliff.  She admits so, but says Nelle was blackmailing her.  She tells him Nelle found the picture and threatened to expose Griffin then; she says she chose him over Carly.  She begs him to believe her; she says she was trying to protect him.  He doesn’t care because she shouldn’t have had that picture in the first place; he tells her he won’t turn her in though because he doesn’t want her death on his conscience, and Sonny would most definitely kill her if the truth came out.  He says she doesn’t get a free pass though, threatening to go to Sonny if she hurts anyone else, ever again.  He tells her their relationship changed him in so many ways, some of them positive, but, he says, “you, Ava Jerome, never really changed at all.”  He tells her she was using him, “to see what it would feel like to have a soul.”  She says if he wants to make her a monster to assuage his guilt, she’ll give him a monster; she walks away.

Drew takes Margaux home and sits down on her couch while she changes her shirt; he rifles through her files, and finds the flash drive.  She tries to lie, saying it’s evidence for a trial she has coming up; he tells her he knows she is lying and gets her to admit that she is.  She offers to let him see what is on the drive and gets her computer; what comes up are personal pictures of her and her family.  Drew feels bad and apologizes.  They kiss and he says goodnight; she tells him she has faith is going to find what he’s looking for.  She closes the door and goes to her safe, pulling out a flash drive labeled “Alzheimer’s project.”

Curtis and Jordan, and Stella, go to counseling together; Stella tries to leave right away, then notices the therapist writing something down.  She gets angry, claiming she is forming an opinion based on what she sees when she doesn’t know the whole story; the therapist says she would like to hear the whole story.  Stella sits back down; she tells the counselor “Jordan is the reason Thomas is dead.”  Curtis explains the history.  Stella does her share of unburdening, yells at Jordan and asks how she can just applaud while she marries Curtis; she says she gave up everything herself to take care of Curtis and isn’t going to watch Jordan ruin him.  Jordan points out that the real reason for Stella’s anger is that Stella has no life of her own.  She tells Stella, lovingly, that she has had twenty years to live a life of her own; she says she is a wonderful person, who deserves to be happy.  Stella look like she is going to cry, but is still trying to be angry; Curtis tells the therapist he loves both of these women.  She tells them it is clear that they all love each other and suggests another session; Stella isn’t sure she wants to come back.

Friday, August 24, 2018 (S56E103): Out of the Mouth of Babes

Drew and Margaux come into the bar; Carly says the story must be true.  Jason asks what she’s talking about; she says there was a picture of the two of them kissing on the front page of the Invader.  He asks about her past; she changes the subject when he asks why she didn’t take a position at some big lawfirm, rather than becoming the D.A.  Carly tells Jason she doesn’t have a good feeling about this; Jason says he thinks she looking for information on him.  Drew tells Jason that he knows Margaux is trying to “work” him; Margaux offers her condolences about Carly’s grandchild.  Carly doesn’t find it sincere and stands up as she questions the “coincidence” that she is “hot and heavy with Drew.”  Margaux suggests they “grab a table… or not.”  Back at their table, she starts to talk about Jason and Carly again; Drew ‘accidentally’ squirts her with barbeque sauce to get her to shut up.  She asks him to take her home.  Carly tells Jason she is concerned she might get Drew to flip; Jason tells her he isn’t worried.

Finn and Anna press Cassandra for an answer; she resists.  Finn threatens to put her back to sleep; he starts to inject her, and she agrees to pretend to still be in a coma and sneak a peak at their captors.  When the men come back in, Finn has four cups prepared; he tells them “it’s too late” – they have all been exposed.  He says they have to drink this medicine; the men make him and Anna drink it first.  After they drink theirs, Finn tells them the medicine is pretty fast-acting… they fall immediately to the floor.  Finn thanks Anna for trusting her; she says, “with my life, apparently.”  They tie the men up and go look around; they run into Robert and Chase, who are looking for them.  They go to get Cassandra, but she is gone when they return to the room; she wakes up in the back seat of a car.  A hand, with a ring, with the Cassadine symbol, lays to rest on her knee; she looks terrified when she sees who it is.

Sonny tells Felix that he got a mobile tracker for his dad, so he can tell if he walks off the grounds; Mike tells Sonny he wants to take him to a game at Yankee Stadium.  He gets tired though, after talking about all the times he and Sonny played ball together back in the day, and decides he needs to go lay down; he asks Sonny if they can “do it tomorrow.”  Felix tells Sonny it’s great that Mike is remembering those times; Sonny says, “yeah… only those times never happened.”  Mike wakes up later, and finds the house empty; he thinks he sees someone outside and accidentally hits the alarm button.  He freaks out when the sirens start blaring; Sonny comes out with a gun.

As Ava and Julian sit on the bench in the park; Griffin happens by.  She asks Julian to give them a minute; she gloats about having turned him in for running that unauthorized DNA test and shows him the picture on her phone.  She says she almost deleted it a dozen times, but something told her not to.  Leo asks his father if there are toys in heaven; he is concerned that Jonah won’t have anything to play with.  He climbs a tree and falls from it; Julian carries him back, concerned he hit his head.  Griffin looks him over and determines he is okay; Ava says Julian was more frightened than he was, and asks Julian if he needs a security blanket.  Leo asks if that was the blanket Julian put in Jonah’s room; Griffin looks confused and Ava looks nervous.  Julian claims Leo was talking about stuff they are donating to needy children and leaves; Griffin questions Ava about the blanket.

Thursday, August 23, 2018 (S56E102): Happy Birthday

Jason and Carly enjoy a game of pool; they toast to Jonah.  She feels guilty about having fun.  She worries that Julian is plotting to take down Sonny.  Kevin sits at the bar; Lucy can tell something is wrong.  The patient from the cell next to Carly’s former one (who looks exactly like Kevin) is begging the guard to help him; he says there is a dangerous criminal out there.”  The guard asks what he can do to help; Lucy tells Kevin she knows him and can tell when he is “going into that dark, broody place.”  He politely asks her to butt out and mind her own business.  Carly sees Kevin and asks him about her “neighbor” back at Ferncliff; Kevin says he is getting the best care possible… he is seeing to that personally.  Carly tells Jason she is thankful Ferncliff is just a bad memory now, and she almost feels guilty for the patients that are still stuck there.  The guard gives Carly’s former neighbor a drink; he thanks him for his kindness, saying the staff there now are much better than the ones that were there before.  He tells him to please not tell his doctor that he told him who he was, or he might kill them both.  Kevin comes back to Ferncliff; he thanks the guard, Gordon, and tells him he can leave them alone.  He lights the candle on the cupcake Lucy gave him and says, “hello brother… happy birthday.”

Anna and Finn are taken in to see Cassandra; Finn says, “there is no way he can save “this patient.”  Robert and Jordan review the evidence and try to track them; Finn tells the men that Cassandra appears to be highly contagious… he hands them paper masks and tells them to put them on, in case it’s not already too late.  He sends them to the store for supplies; Anna assumes Cassandra is not even the least bit contagious.  Finn tells her, “if she were, these masks wouldn’t do a thing.”  He figures out a way to wake Cassandra up, temporarily.  Anna tells her that she needs to help them.  Chase comes in angry that no one has told him that Finn is missing; he wants to help.  Jordan says he is too close to this, but he points out that they are closer to both Finn and Anna than he is to Finn; if he dies now, he says, “I’ll never get a chance to know him.”  Anna tells Cassandra they woke her so she could help them figure out who kidnapped them; she tells Anna to go to hell.  Anna explains how she’s been in a coma for eight months, which surprises her, and says during that time, she contracted that rare blood disease she was pretending to have before.  Finn tells her congratulations; he says he can cure it, if she helps them.

Bensch mocks Kiki in the hospital hallway; about how respected he is; he tells her he has a new lawyer and he is appealing the whole thing, as he walks off.   Liz tells her “there isn’t a nurse on staff who will lift a finger for that man; she says they have her back.  Bensch returns to the desk, looking angry; he tells Kiki he just got fired.  Kiki and Elizabeth smile.  Franco takes the boys out, supposedly shopping for school clothes; they end up at the park, talking about what else they want to do.  The little one, Aiden, mentions a video game he would like to get, but is made fun of by his older brother, Cameron; Cam says it’s “a girl’s game.”  Franco says it doesn’t matter what his brother says, but Aiden says he doesn’t like that game anymore.  Franco sends the little ones for ice cream and tells Cameron that was a “total crap apology.”  Cameron brings up “all the people” Franco has killed and asks if they accepted his apology; Franco looks angry.

Wednesday, August 22, 2018 (S56E101): There Are Reasons

Drew tells Curtis he isn’t vetting this woman so he can date her, he’s going to date her so he can “vet” her.  Alexis asks Diane “why after all this time, would the mother reconsider adoption?”  We don’t hear an answer; Diane simply says that there are no red flags with the mother, so it is highly likely they will lose custody.  Diane steps out the door and looks; Julian ducks behind the wall.  Diane tells Alexis she really wished they weren’t going through this proceeding; Alexis agrees.  Diane says, “it could be worse,” and Alexis agrees again; she says at least their baby is alive and well.  Julian sneaks into the office after they leave; he takes a picture of a file in the folder on the desk.  He goes to see Kim at GH; she tries to explain to him the bond of a mother and child.

Michael tells his dad he stayed by the graveside longer than he meant to; he says, “I didn’t know how to leave.”  Lulu tells Peter that she will not be accepting his offer of employment, as she works for a legitimate company… then she asks Drew to help her save her job.  She says she has been bumped down to “puff pieces” and is wondering if there is anything he can do; he tells her just to keep doing what she does.  She turns around and goes back to Peter, asking if the position is still on the table, right in front of Maxie.  Diane seems to do her best to talk Nina out of signing the divorce papers; Nina signs them anyway.  Julian calls the birth mother and tells her he thinks they should meet.

Tuesday, August 21, 2018 (S56E100): Who's Baby is He?

Sam and Jason sit at the cemetery and talk about the baby they lost fourteen years ago, Loralie… Sam says Kristina may not have been here if it hadn’t been for her.  Jason says, “she may not have been here long, but she definitely made the world a better place.”  Kristina tells her mother how grateful she is for her, and their family; they hug.  Brad is a nervous wreck now; he thanks Julian for “following” his lead last night with Lucas.  Julian says no problem; he asks Brad, “if Wiley isn’t the birthmother’s, who’s baby is he?”  He admits, it is Nelle’s; he tells Julian the whole story, of finding Wiley dead after his nap, driving to GH and finding Nelle, etc.  He says she begged him to take her boy, and he saw “a way out.”  He didn’t want to tell Lucas their child was dead; so he agreed, and put Michael’s baby in Lucas’ arms.  Julian says he doesn’t even know what to say right now.

Michael prepares for the beginning of his baby’s funeral; he tells his mom, he doesn’t know what to talk about with a baby that died before he took his first breath.  She says, aside from saying that he was loved and wanted, “you just say goodbye.”  Jos tells Michael she’s sorry; Michael says he likes to think Jonah would have turned out to be someone who was compassionate and strong, not someone who gives in to bitterness and anger… he tells her that’s how he wants to honor his memory.  He thanks Oscar for coming; Oscar sends his mother’s condolences, and offers his own, admitting that it feels inadequate.  Michael asks him to give Joslyn some support for him; Oscar smiles.  Jos is happy to see him.

Brad tells Julian he is afraid they will BOTH  be arrested, as no one will believe Lucas knew nothing; he reminds Julian that if he says nothing and they lose the hearing, Wiley will be returned to a woman who isn’t even his mother.  He says the only way this can work out is if they retain custody; he asks if Julian can “intervene.”  Julian says he isn’t sure there is anything he can do, but he will “ask around and see what he can find out before the hearing.”  Chase shows up at the funeral, and offers to leave; Michael welcomes him and thanks him for coming.

Drew calls Curtis and asks him to run a background check on Margeaux Dawson; he tells him, before anything goes any farther, he wants to know more about her.  Curtis tells him there are “no red flags” – says, she was born to a Vincent and Janet Marino, father was out of the picture early, grew up in Princeton, N.J., was a good student, had a full ride to NYU, but turned it down.  Graduated Kum Ladi, and married a David Dawson; a year and a half later, she divorced, enrolled herself in Stanford Law School and graduated with honors.  “She ran in some affluent circles,” Curtis says.  It appears that for most of her life, “she was on the outside, looking in,” Drew replies.  He wonders why she chose to come to Port Charles when Oakland is a cheaper place to live and has more financial resources.  Curtis asks Drew if he is “up for this challenge.”

Julian stops by Alexis’ and asks questions about the custody situation; she tells him it’s not a “done deal” and she is going to try to show that they and the child have already bonded.  He asks how they can give Brad and Lucas an advantage at the hearing; Julian thinks… and the funeral begins.  Jos gives a tearful speech; she thanks Michael for never having a day when he was too busy for her and for never putting her off until tomorrow.  Julian pleads Lucas’ case; Alexis tells him this is out of his hands.  She tells him she is going to speak with the other attorney, and prepares him that they will probably favor the birthmother; he says okay, apologizing for making her deal with him.  She tells him when he is sweet and loving, and concerned like this, she doesn’t mind dealing with him at all.  He lingers outside of the house, and follows her when she leaves.  She meets with Diane (Sonny’s personal attorney), who is representing the birth mother; Julian listens outside the door.

Monday, August 20, 2018 (S56E99): It's My Baby

Alexis tells Brad and Lucas that the birth mother wants the baby back; as Michael holds the baby, Brad looks terrified.  Michael wonders if it’s worse to have your baby for a little while, and lose him, or not have him at all; he tells his mom he needs to go and clear his head.  Alexis tells Brad and Lucas that there will be a hearing to determine the placement of the baby now; Lucas asks what their chances are of getting custody over the birth mother.  She can’t say, but says she doesn’t know of a case where the judge ruled in favor of the adoptive parents.  Brad runs out the door, saying he can’t be here; Alexis tells Lucas she will do everything in her power to help them keep their son.  Brad shows up at Charlie’s; he tells Julian he needs his help.  Julian texts Lucas.

Carly and Sonny are concerned about Michael; Carly wonders how he is going to get through the funeral tomorrow.  They wish he would come stay with them; Carly fears Michael is putting on an act, “being okay” when he’s not.  Michael shows up at Charlie’s; Lulu hugs him and tells him she is sorry for his loss.  He thanks her; she leaves Chase sitting at the bar.  Michael sits down beside him, and they start talking.  Chase tells him he is “so sorry” and Michael says he is sorry too; then reminisces about all of the plans he had made for the baby… and how the only plan he has now, is burying his child.  Brad tells Julian that the baby isn’t the birthmother’s to take; Julian asks him what he means.

Peter tells Lulu about his purchase of the Invader, and his intent to turn it into a legitimate newspaper; he tells her he wants to “poach” her.  Sonny finally tells Carly about the body that is buried in the walls of Julian’s bar, the fact that Mike put it there, and that Julian is getting ready to renovate that portion of the building.  Drew asks Margeaux about the kiss; she questions if he thinks she is trying to seduce him to get him to help her.  She tells him that is insulting; she calls him a paranoid egomaniac.  All he hears is that she thinks he is sexy; lol.  He tells her, if he had kissed her uninvited like that, he’d be labeled a harasser; she concedes.  He admits he was a “little bit of an ass” and apologizes; she suggests he work on his technique.  He asks if they can try again and says he can do better.

Valentin goes to see Nina’s mother; he tells her that he is willing to hire a renowned attorney for her, Nora Buchanan, in return for information about what really happened during Nina’s twenty-year coma.  He tells her he doesn’t think Nina lost her baby; he thinks that baby is still alive… she tells him he’s crazy.  He guesses the baby was a girl; he can tell from her reaction that he is right.  He tells her what has roused his curiosity; he says he looked at the records and there is an eight-month period of time during her coma that Nina was not in the facility.  She admits that he is right; Nina had a daughter, who would now be twenty years old.  She says, she isn’t exactly the grandmotherly type, so she “got rid of her.”  The girl would have had a claim on Nina’s inheritance.  He demands a name of the “broker” but she says all the parties remained anonymous; she says she can track her down though, but not until his “high-powered attorney” secures her release.

Nina and Maxie go to Charlies; they are celebrating Maxie’s promotion.  Julian tells them Brad and Lucas might lose their son.  Nina tells Maxie that she still thinks about having a child; she starts to cry, saying “it’s all this lost baby talk.”  She says there is nothing worse than losing a child, no matter how it happens, yet questions how you can grieve something that never existed.  Maxie tells Nina she understands; Nina says she is lucky to have her in her life.

Friday, August 17, 2018 (S56E98): An Unexpected Visit

Alexis invites Sonny and Mike to a party to welcome baby Wiley into the family; Bobbie comes in and tells them it’s a nice gesture, but says they need to “call it off.”  She tells them Brad and Lucas are superstitious and might think the party will jinx the adoption; they walk in and ask “what’s going on?”  They say they don’t like tempting fate; Sam offers her opinion… she says they are being ridiculous.  She says they have already accepted Wiley as their son, whether that ends in thirty days or not won’t negate the reason for the party; they talk and agree to accept the gesture from their family, realizing that Michael’s family has set aside their grief to be there for them and Wiley.  When Michael walks in, Mike tells him the baby really looks like Carly; he insists, it does.  Julian says the baby looks “different than it did in the hospital.”  Alexis gets a call; it doesn’t look like good news.

Julian is being harassed by the City of Port Charles Building and Safety Bureau; the man tells him he has “some bad news.”  Drew comes into Charlie’s, where he runs into Margeaux; he asks her why she talked to Jason about him.  She tells him she is trying to use Jason to get closer to his boss; she is going to be the one to take down Sonny, she says.  Drew tells her he isn’t going to help her, and then accuses her of trying to set him up this whole time.  He tells her, her “game needs work.”  He tells her, for one, that he doesn’t have memories of all of Jason’s crimes; two, that there isn’t any evidence out there, and three, it would never hold up in court. She tells him she really does like him, and it wasn’t until she got to know him that she thought he might help her.  He tells her, she thought wrong; she kisses him, and says “maybe not.”

Valentin finds Peter at Wyndemere; Peter tells him he owes him, and he is there to collect.  He tells Valentin he plans on staying in Port Charles.  Maxie and Nina go to the prison to talk to Nina’s mother; Nina doesn’t really want to be there, but Maxie says they “have to do this.”  Nina tells her mother she is only there to support Maxie; Maxie says she is there for Nathan… Nina says it was fitting and fair that their mother didn’t get to go to Jay’s funeral.  She tells her mother everything she has been holding in for years, putting the blame where it belongs, squarely on her mother.  She apologizes to Nina, and says she is trying to turn her life around, helping others through therapy in there.  She asks Nina if she will talk to the parole board for her when her hearing comes up; Nina agrees, and then thanks her mother for reminding her what a manipulator she is.  They leave.

Thursday, August 16, 2018 (S56E97): Admission

Carly asks Jos outright if she stole those clothes; Joslyn admits that she did, but is unable to tell Carly why.  Jos starts to cry and asks Carly what’s wrong with her; Carly says there is nothing wrong with her, and puts all the blame on Nelle, calling her a “master manipulator.”  When Sonny gets home, he tells Jos he agrees, and tells Jos she’s “a rock star” for handling everything the way she has.  Kristina asks Sam about her and Jason; Sam keeps her answer lighthearted, saying it’s nice to feel “free” again… then she asks about Kristina’s relationship with Parker.  Kristina admits that she just feels like she is drifting in comparison to Parker, with her job and tenure, saying she “has a life.”  Liz’s old friend, now of staff at GH as well, talks to her about Cameron; she assures Elizabeth that she is a great mom and is doing a great job with Cameron.  Jordan puts her foot down about Stella with Curtis; she tells him she doesn’t want her at the wedding if she isn’t going to accept her as family.  Curtis says they have to find a way to work this out.

Wednesday, August 15, 2018 (S56E96): Sticky Fingers

Elizabeth and Franco talk about Cameron; Franco assures Liz she is raising a fine young boy.  She tries to talk to Carly about it, saying she thinks Joslyn had some influence over Cameron’s actions; Carly gets pissed.  When she gets home, she finds clothing with sensors and tags still attached in Joslyn’s closet.  Kim Nero comes in and says she heard about the verdict in Kiki’s trial; Franco says he’s glad, given the fact that he almost screwed it up.

Sam and Molly bring their mother a victory cake; they ask why she doesn’t look happier.  Carly asks Sonny if he has shown his dad those brochures; he says his dad doesn’t even want to think about moving right now.  Mike listens and overhears Sonny talk about not being able to spend time with his dad when he was a little boy, and not wanting to give that up now, when they don’t absolutely have to.  He says he wants to go do something today; Carly offers to take him anywhere he wants to go.  He decides he wants to go to Charlie’s; Julian asks Mike again how he and Charlie knew each other… Mike says Charlie did him a big favor one time – “right under this roof.”

Kiki comes to talk to her mother; Ava screams at her about Griffin… Kiki says “he did not betray you” (as they had actually ‘broken up’ an hour before); Ava says, “he may not have, but you sure as hell did.”  She accuses Kiki of sleeping with Griffin because she slept with Morgan.  Kiki tells her it isn’t true, because that would make them even – and they are clearly not.  She calls her mother a vicious, vengeful bitch.

Kristina comes to visit her father; Sonny hugs her.  She tells him she has figured out she wasn’t cut out for the classroom; he says that’s okay and asks her what’s next.  She says she just wants to spend time with her family.  Molly is excited when Kristina shows up at Alexis’ door; Alexis gets called to a client emergency and Molly has to go register for classes.  After they both leave, Sam asks Kristina what’s really going on.  Monica calls Griffin into her office to talk to him about the DNA test he ordered without the patient’s permission; she tells him he is suspended effective immediately.

Tuesday, August 14, 2018 (S56E95): Trial Concludes

Elizabeth is surprised when she sees Griffin back at work; she asks why he isn’t still at the trial… he tells her he had to leave.  He says he will have to get used to being the center of hospital gossip, telling her that Baldwin asked him on the stand if he and Kiki slept together.  The truth is out; Liz tells him it’s okay… she says the jury will see right through Scotty’s tactic.  Griffin says he should probably have lied to save Kiki’s case; Ava tells Franco that she doesn’t know how she’ll ever trust anyone ever again, saying Griffin took away everything she ever cared about.  She says it’s time for her to return the favor; she goes to her phone and pulls up the picture of the DNA test Griffin illegally ran.

Kiki defends herself against Dr. Bensch when he approaches her in the hallway, calling her lawsuit “baseless.”  Alexis tells Kiki to come back into the courtroom; Kiki is losing hope that anyone will believe her now.  Alexis gives a beautifully eloquent speech about sex between two consenting adults and the difference from the harassment she has been exposed to from Dr. Bensch.  Ava is pissed at Franco; he apologizes for mistakenly send her that text, which he meant for Alexis.  She tells him she is glad he did; now she knows.  She says she is “done playing the fool” to everyone is her life; Franco reminds her that she has played him before, and says it’s only a fraction of what she deserves and it’s long overdue (although he says it somewhat lovingly).  Scotty gets up and tells the jury that he pretty much agrees with the opposing counsel, but he claims his client, Dr. Bensch, has had a “spotless record in the medical community” – however, he reminds the jury that the burden of proof is not as high, as this is a civil case.  Bensch looks confused; he tells Scotty he wants him to prove him innocent.  Scotty says, “no can do.”  The jury finds in favor of the Plaintiff; Kiki is amazed.  Alexis is thrilled; Lulu smiles.  Kiki is awarded a judgment of $250,000.00.

Finn is told that it is Cassandra Pierce that he is expected to operate on; she is expected to be at the “facility tomorrow.”  Anna demands to know who these men’s boss is and what he wants with Cassandra.  The men tell them if they both do their part, they will both be released in no time; Finn and Anna wonder how they have Cassandra, when she is supposed to be in WSB custody.  Anna says “these guys are mercenaries; Finn says their only way out is for him to treat Cassandra, but Anna says, “you can’t do that.”  Robert talks to Valentin; Valentin tells him Cassandra has been in a coma since January… Robert tells him she is no longer in WSB custody.  Finn agrees to cooperate; they tell him “Miss DeVane is here to guarantee your good behavior.”

Carly tells Michael they need to “bury” his son; he tells her he just becomes paralyzed when he starts thinking about the funeral arrangements.  She tells him the pain never really goes away… you just become accustomed to it – as she begins to explain that life goes on and you have catch up with it, they are interrupted (by Monica).  Monica offers to lay Jonah to rest in the family mausoleum.  Michael says he wants to bury Jonah next to Morgan, “so that neither of them have to be alone.”  Carly tells him that is beautiful; Michael mourns his loss.

Monday, August 13, 2018 (S56E94): To Tell The Truth

Elizabeth scolds Cameron for shoplifting; Oliver mocks what a bad example he is setting for the kids… Jos tells him he isn’t the bad example, she is.  Griffin confesses to sleeping with Kiki when questioned directly by Scotty on the stand;Ava condemns Griffin for sleeping with her daughter; he isn’t proud of it, but tells her she can’t use that to hide her “righteous indignation.”  He calls her out for hiding evidence that could have freed Carly.  She tries to deny any involvement, but Griffin knows she had the blanket.  She finally admits it, saying it doesn’t mean that Carly didn’t push Nelle.  She calls him out for breaking his vows as a priest, breaking his hypocratic oath and for breaking her heart when he “screwed” her daughter.  He says she was the one using him, “to see what it would feel like to have a soul.”  Ava looks hurt and leaves.

Drew finds the flash drive in Margeaux’s hotel room; she tries to tell him it is for another case, but he doesn't believe it.  He demands to see what’s on the drive; she agrees to let him and turns on her computer… pictures of her as a kid come up on the screen.  He questions why she said it was for a case.Mike accidentally triggers the security alarm on Sonny’s house; Sonny comes down stairs with gun drawn and scares Mike horribly with he points the gun at him.  After they get Mike settled, Sonny reconsiders putting him in a home; Sonny says, “I don’t know how to do this.”

Curtis and Jordan go to family counseling with his Aunt Stella; the therapist praises them for coming for help.  Stella becomes frustrated fast and says she’s “outta here.”  The therapist writes something down; Stella questions what it is.  A discussion ensues and the truth about Stella’s hatred for Jordan comes out; Stella tells them she isn’t coming back for another session… until Curtis tells her he loves her.  Robert finds Finn’s tracker on the floor of the cell where Finn and Anna were being kept; he wonders how his captures found it.

Friday, August 10, 2018 (S56E93): How Do You Un-send a Text?

Franco apparently means to send the text, disclosing Kiki’s sexual affair with Griffin, to Scotty; when he realizes it was to Ava, he looks terrified.  Ava looks at him; he shakes his head.  The D.A. is questioning Griffin on the stand; he asks if he ever lies, then he asks about his relationship with Kiki..  Griffin hesitates; the fire alarm goes off (Franco is out in the hall, with his hand on the alarm).  The judge recesses; Ava tries to get Franco to tell her more about the text… he pretends not to know anything about it.  Ava’s mind replays every single time she ever walked in somewhere and found Kiki and Griffin hugging.  When they return to the courtroom, Scotty asks Griffin straight out “have you ever had sex with Kiki Jerome?”

Cameron Webber comes into Kelley’s diner with Joslyn; he is putting in a new pair of ear buds; Jos asks where he got them, since he didn’t have the money to buy them half an hour ago.  He boasts about being a great thief, hinting that Jos should know what it’s like.  She gets annoyed with him, then an officer comes in and says he needs to take him in for questioning about the shoplifting incident that happened an hour ago.  Carly gets a visit from Kevin; he wants her to go back to therapy…. she tells him "never again.”  She needs no reminders of Ferncliff; Kevin leans down over another patient….who is strapped to a chair, in a straight jacket – it looks just like him.  He says, “hello again brother.”  He turns the chair and sees a face that looks much like his own; the man in the chair says, "hello brother."

Thursday, August 9, 2018 (S56E92): Don’t Spill the Beans

Franco convinces Alexis to listen to him; she tells him it better be good.  He tries to tell her, but the judge comes into the room; she tells Franco to go sit down.  She gives a grand opening statement; Scotty just says his client is innocent.  Elizabeth is called to the stand; admits she never personally saw the harassment… Scotty dismisses her testimony has hearsay.  Apiphany testifies next; doesn’t need a crystal ball to see when a young woman is hurting and a no good man is the cause of that hurt.  The other young nurse who had sex with Dr. Bensch gets on the stand next, and says if she hadn’t slept with him, she would have lost her job.  Scotty tries to make it seem like she willingly just had sex with the doctor, but Alexis reads the definition of “coercement” and sets the jury straight.

Jordan and Curtis meet up at the Metro Court; Curtis has rented a room to “reconnect.”  Jordan tells him she doesn’t really have the time; then we see them in bed.  Curtis goes to get in the shower; his phone rings… Jordan picks it up and sees a message from “Chandra.”   She calmly asks him why Chandra is texting him, and shows him the unopened message; he laughs and says she tried to message him before but he hasn’t responded.  When Jordan asks why not, he pulls her up and says, “because I am so in love with you.”  Jordan goes to Stella and questions why she would have contacted this woman just before their wedding; Stella tries to say it wasn’t for any particular reason, but Jordan doesn’t buy it.  Carly revels about being free; she says she can’t wait for Diane to get Jason released.  She says she blames Nelle for Michael losing the baby; Sonny says they shouldn’t give Nelle anymore of their time.  Mike comes in; he is happy to see Carly, but doesn’t remember where she has been.  She says she was away, and couldn’t get back to her family; she says she just kept hoping… he likens her to Dorothy, “with the red shoes.”  He runs out to get something, and Carly and Sonny here a loud crashing noise.  They take him to the hospital to get stitches in his forehead; Stella suggests again that it might be time to consider putting Mike in a long-term care facility.

Ava gets on the stand next; Alexis asks about Bensch’s visit to her gallery.  Scotty declines to ask Ava any questions; he tells Bensch that “making Kiki’s mother into a martyr won’t do any good” for his case.  Kiki gets called next.  She explains how the relationship with Dr. Bensch slowly changed from good to bad; Scotty wants to pass again on questioning the witness, but Bensch threatens to fire him if he doesn’t show the picture.  He asks Kiki about the picture, accepts her answer, with an insinuation that it could mean more, and sits down; Alexis asks to rebut and clarifies that it was a simple hug from a friend consoling her because of Dr. Bensch’s actions.  She decides to ask permission to call Griffin to the stand, as the picture brings him into it; Scotty objects but the judge allows it.  Franco hurries and texts Ava, thinking Griffin is going to admit his affair with Kiki on the stand: “Griffin and Kiki had sex!”  Ava looks pissed.

Wednesday, August 8, 2018 (S56E91): Secrets Begin to Emerge

Finn is being held in an empty room somewhere; a man comes in with medical records and says its time for him to take a look at his new patient.  Finn tells him he isn’t doing anything for him, until he gets proof that Anna DeVane is still alive.  The man walks into another room, where Anna is strapped to a bed, with an IV in her arm; he takes her picture.  She asks what that’s for; he says, “proof” and leaves again.  Anna sits up and looks at an surgical knife she has hidden; she says, “you have to start somewhere.”  Finn tells the man that picture could be old; he says he wants to see Anna in person, alive and healthy.  The man brings Anna in, and says, “if our patient dies, Dr. Finn, so does she.”  Finn kisses Anna; she feels the implant in his hand… he tells her “the cavalry is on the way” and she says “no… we can’t have that.”  She takes the implant out of his hand and crushes it.  The man comes in and tells Finn “it’s time to roll.”

Robert, still talking to Peter, says it’s time to cut to the chase; he tells Peter to show him how good his information is that he thinks they want… Peter wants a guarantee of his freedom.  He says, he’ll guarantee if, if the information he gives is regarding the experiments at the facility where Jason was held captive.  He tells Robert what he knows.  Robert says it isn’t information - it’s a stall.  He says he’ll offer him a compromise.  He says he will “shelf” the charges; Peter agrees to cooperate with anything Robert wants him to do, or the charges will be re-filed.Maxie tells Nina that the gang in advertising was really impressed with the print this month; Nina says, no matter how Valentin wants to spin it, a lie is still a lie.  Valentin walks up to the table and says that nothing about his love for her is a lie.

Kim and Drew laugh about all the emails they are getting from the school, for meetings and such; Margeaux sees them talking and interrupts.  Drew introduces her as the new D.A.; Kim says “oh that’s how you two know each other, huh?”  Drew admits they met at a baseball game, and Kim acts coy about it; she giggles.  Margeaux goes in to talk to Peter, with Drew listening outside the door; she threatens him with more charges… Peter asks why she is so interested in this case.  She says its been put upon her to clean up his mess; she tells him to “give back Drew Cane’s identity” and she will drop every last charge.  Drew stops her; he says he is happy with his life the way it is now… he tells her if she is doing this for him, “thanks but no thanks.”  She asks if he is sure; he says yeah, asking “what would be the point?”  He says Peter was probably his father’s victim just as much as he was.  Griffin comes in next and tells Peter he is free to go; Margeaux tells him to get out of there and leave town, before she changes her mind and decides to charge him.  Peter smiles; in the hall, he tells Maxie that he has decided to stay in Port Charles.

Kiki is really nervous about the hearing that’s about to start; she says she has waited for this day for so long, and now that it’s here, she is terrified.  She is surprised to see Griffin come out of her mother’s bedroom, half dressed.  Ava tells her, her family and friends are there to support her; Griffin tells her not to even think about Bensch being there – not to give him that power.  Scotty tells Franco that he is still on their side, willing to throw Bensch under the bus, but he can’t promise that something explosive isn’t going to come out of the testimony.  Franco questions what he means, and Scotty tells him that Griffin slept with Kiki; Franco calls him a “hypocritical bastard.”  Scotty asks what he is going to do about it, now that he knows the truth.  Ava questions the clothes Kiki is wearing; she says she wanted to look professional… Ava tells her she needs to wear the outfit Alexis picked out for her, saying she can’t let Bensch win.  Franco tells Scotty that he is going to talk directly to Alexis about this and make sure she doesn’t ask any questions that will lead Griffin to tell the truth about his relations with Kiki on the stand.  He goes to the court and tells Alexis he needs to talk to her before her whole case falls apart.

Tuesday, August 7, 2018 (S56E90): Gotcha!

Sam offers to help Michael clean up the things in his baby’s nursery; he says all he can think of is all the other children that could be using this stuff right now.  Michael finds the baby blanket in his son’s dresser; he says it was obviously planted there by someone who decided to double-cross Nelle.  Carly goes into the interrogation room to see Nelle (even though she is a fugitive at the moment); she tells Nelle that she messed with the “wrong family.”  Nelle looks rightfully frightened.  She tries to tell Carly how alike they are, because of what Carly did when she first came to town; Carly points out that she succeeded in her goal of tanking her mother’s marriage, and successfully seduced Tony “fair and square” – she says Nelle, on the other hand, had to drug Sonny to even get him in bed with her.  Nelle looks pissed and humiliated at the same time.

Jason tells the D.A. that it is her fault that all of this has happened to Carly, and says this is her chance to do something right.  He gives her the paper with Carly’s forged signature consenting to the electroshock treatment; he explains how it couldn’t possibly be Carly’s signature because of when it was signed.  He reminds her that she is up against Diane here; he says it could tank her entire career.  She tells him, if she is going to listen to what he has to say, he has to turn himself in… and it could mean prison time.  He says, “as long as Carly is safe.”  Chase apologizes profusely about the death of Sonny’s grandchild; Sonny tells him his idea led to “unintended consequences” which is a lot different from it being his fault.  He says no matter how careful you are, you can’t plan for everything – no matter what side of the law you are on; he says no one could have imagined the baby would a casualty.  He says it’s a heavy burden, but Chase is going to have to be the one to carry it.

The D.A. comes in with Jason, to find Carly and Sonny; she offers Carly a transfer to Shadybrook… she says it’s a preferable arrangement.  Sonny says it’s “so not happening” as he stares at a text from Diane that says: “Mission Accomplished.”  Sonny tells her that the judge just agreed to set aside Carly’s conviction.  Michael comes in with the blanket and says, he thinks he can help with that.  Carly gasps when he dumps the blanket out on the table; they explain to Margeaux what it is and how he found it.  She finds it suspicious and says it may have been planted there; Sonny reminds her that Janelle Benson has already been proven guilty.  She agrees to vacating Carly’s sentence; Nelle is brought out of the interrogation room, and screams “no, no, no, no, no” when she sees the crocheted blanket on the table.  Margeaux says she has Nelle on so many offenses right now, the blanket is practically meaningless; Carly says, “not to me.”  Michael says goodbye to Nelle; she screams at Carly, “this is all your fault… and I hate you.”  The D.A. tells Sonny that she should be working on bigger things anyway, like a case against him; he tells her to “bring it on.”  Carly and Jason tell each other they have no regrets; Carly jokes that they might get adjoining cells.

Ava is concerned about how hard this law suit is going to be on Kiki; it is has already been horribly difficult.  Alexis tells Kiki she has also been getting prank and lewd phone calls every day; four so far today, she says.  Griffin finds Ava and tells her they need to talk; he lets it slip that he loves her and she jumps on it, saying she loves him too; he confirms that he truly loves her, but says they still have a lot they need to talk about.  She asks if it can wait until after the trial; he says okay.  He finds Kiki in the hallway and tells her that he needs to tell Ava that he cheated on her; he says he won’t name names, and promises not to let her know it was Kiki.  Kiki says if he tells her, he will lose her and make her his enemy; she says it would be bad for both of them and walks away.  Scotty tells Ava they are going to go to trial; she reminds him that he is throwing the case for her… he says he has to put on a “reasonable defense” however and there’s no telling “what someone might be forced to admit.”

Monday, August 6, 2018 (S56E89): Nelle is In Custody

Ava talks to her brother Julian; she asks him to do a favor for her.  He asks her what’s in the bag; she shows him the baby blanket.  He agrees to take it with him to visit Leo, and he puts it in Michael’s baby’s dresser drawer.  They hope someone will realize what it is and that it will help to free Carly; Julian wonders why Ava is suddenly trying to help Carly, but does her bidding.  She tells him she feels horribly about Michael losing his baby; even though she doesn’t care for him, she says, “nobody deserves that.”  Michael sees Lucas and Brad walking through the hospital lobby; he stops to talk to them and Lucas introduces Wiley to Michael as his cousin (Michael is Lucas’ nephew by marriage).  Michael asks to hold the baby; he notices something about him but blows it off.  He tells them they are so lucky; Brad acknowledges that they sure are.  The guilt shows all over his face; Lucas asks what’s wrong.  Brad tells him he just wants to get home and spend some time with their son.

Carly is having second thoughts about going to Canada; Jason thinks there may be another way.  Sam tells him she hopes so, because she “needs him” even if she can’t define how; Sonny is afraid Jason’s plan is too dangerous.  Carly says she wants to try; it could be a matter of hours versus weeks or months.

Margeaux runs into Drew at Charlie's; he tells her he wants to “clear the air.”  He tells her he knows Curtis was kind of acting like a “wing man” the other night; he lets her know that he “isn’t looking.”  She tells him she isn’t looking either, but leaves her number with him, just in case he “threw away the one” she gave him when she spilled mustard on him the other day.  She goes to the docks and says “okay I’m here”… Jason steps out of the shadows.  He thanks her for meeting him.

Nelle tries to talk her way out of her predicament, by telling Jordan her confession was coerced; she says she would have said anything to get Michael to stop the car before it crashed.  Jordan asks her how she knew it was going to crash; Nelle denies having anything to do with rigging the car… but Jordan plays the recordings of her ‘hiring’ Chase to case the car to crash after fifteen miles.  Chase tells Sonny he is sorry for what happened to his grandchild, and says that he knows its all his fault.

Friday, August 3, 2018 (S56E88): Finn Taken

Jordan calls Robert to tell him that Peter August is being discharged and can be released into his custody.  She sees Michael and asks if he can tell her where to find his mother and Jason; he tells her he knows nothing… he says he was busy last night, with his baby dying.  Finn tells Anna he is headed her way, although he doesn’t really know where she is; along the way, he gets abducted.  Someone puts a bag over his head, ties his hands and throws him in a small cell.  Lulu comes to see Peter in the hospital; she makes fun of the fact that he is going to prison, but says she is glad to see he is recovering.  She says she is pissed that he set her up, and that she played right into his hands.  Nina tells Maxie that Leisel broke out of custody and caused an accident with Michael and Nelle; Maxie is saddened to learn about the death of Michael’s baby.

On a more positive note, she tells Maxie, Lucas and Brad got their baby; that makes Maxie smile.  She tells Nina, she really “buried the lead.”  Lulu calls both Maxie and Nina to meet with her; she wants their approval on her last piece about Faison, and Peter.  Maxie tells her it humanizes him; she tells Lulu she’s a great writer… Nina agrees.  She says she is looking forward to the story coming to an end.

Jos tells Nelle “this is just between us” after she demands to know where Nelle thinks she is going; she says she saw her sneaking out of her room and decided to follow her.  Nelle tries to walk away and Jos grabs her; Nelle pushes Jos down to the ground, cutting her forehead.  Jos gets up and goes back after Nelle; she punches her and then slams her up against the wall a few times, telling her not to ever mess with her family again.  Jordan shows up and tells Jos “that’s enough.”  She asks what happened; Jos says, “she tried to get away and I stopped her.”Jos sees Michael at the police station; he thanks her for helping.  She says she had to do something; he says he knows the feeling.

When Robert comes to get Peter, Peter tells him locking him up would be counterproductive; he says he has information “on the others… (the ones that came before Jason) patients 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.”  Brad and Lucas are called to the station; Jordan has some questions for Brad, about Nelle.  He’s nervous, especially when he sees Michael there; Michael stops and stares at the baby in Brad’s arms.

Thursday, August 2, 2018 (S56E): We’ll Get Through This

Sonny asks Michael if he is ready to go; Michael says no… he needs some answers first.Kim comes in to tell Nelle that she is being discharged; Nelle asks if she can find a reason to keep her there longer, because as soon as they release her, she is going to jail.  Kim brings Michael into the room and says she has the coroner’s report on their baby; he lists the death as “unexplained.”  Nelle gets angry and insists it was the crash that killed their son; Kim says, they checked for that.  The baby didn’t suffer any injuries from the crash; Nelle says she doesn’t believe her and continues blaming Michael.  Kim says no one is to blame.

Curtis and Sam dress up as investigators for a mental health association and go to Ferncliff; they first say they want to know some things about the Carly Corinthos escape, but then tell Mary Pat this facility has been granted some “innovative” award.  They just want to make sure everything was by the books in the Corinthos case; she obliges.  Sam gets the supposed consent form; Jason says he hopes it’s enough, together with Nelle’s arrest, to get the D.A. to back off of Carly’s charges.  Chase comes back to see Nelle, but finds her bed empty; he checks the bathroom.  The guard says he just “got called away for a minute” – Nelle is on the run.  Michael shows up at the safe house; he hugs his mother.  She tells him Jos went to see him at the hospital; Jos catches Nelle walking the back halls, grabs her arm and asks where she thinks she’s going.

Wednesday, August 1, 2018 (S56E): It’s Your Fault

Brad tells Lucas he is going to run to the hospital for a while; he says, he had his time with their baby and Lucas deserves his.  Nelle tells Michael that it is his fault their baby is dead; he is in shock, holding this still newborn infant.  Elizabeth tells him they need to go to a cubicle, where he can have all the time he needs to say goodbye; he refuses… he takes off with the baby and tells her to leave them alone.  Brad hides around the corner, looking guilty.  He goes in to talk to Nelle, who has been taken to a room; he tells her he isn’t sure he can do this.  She tells him he has to; Ava sees Nelle talking to Brad, holding his hand.  She interrupts.

Jason brings Jos to see Carly; Jos tells her mom she is so sorry for her testimony.  Her mom tells her there are some things she needs to know about Nelle; Jos is stunned.  She can’t believe she fell for Nelle’s lies; they talk about what might happen with the baby – Carly says it will be born behind bars, and Michael will be a single parent.  Michael sits in the chapel with his dead son still in his arms; Sonny comes in and sits down beside him.  Michael blames himself; he says he is the one who set Nelle up and kept driving when she asked him to stop… he is the reason his son is dead, he tells his father.

Lulu talks to Chase at Charlie’s bar; Chase blames himself somehow.  He tells Lulu how he ‘just knew’ the baby was dead when he saw it in Nelle’s arms – it was “so, so still” he tells her.  Kiki and Griffin talk on the other side of the bar; Kiki tells him she isn’t drinking tonight.  She doesn’t want to get drunk and let anything slip; she tells Griffin her mother can’t find out… she gets angry, and then she gets even.  She says, “she would take us both down.”  Brad leaves Nelle’s room, and Nelle tells Ava they need to settle a few things; she says she has been arrested.  Ava asks what she plans to tell the cops; Nelle says she won’t say anything about her being her accomplice, but only because she would have to admit that Carly didn’t push her down the stairs and she won’t give her that satisfaction.  Ava goes back to the bar and apologizes to Griffin and Kiki for leaving them like that; Griffin says it’s okay, telling Ava Nelle is lucky to have a good friend like her, to stick by her side.  Ava tells them that Nelle lost the baby; Kiki goes to call Michael.  Nelle laughs to herself about how Michael and his family will never see her child, or know where he is, even though he’ll be right under their noses.  Elizabeth comes into the chapel; Michael hands her the baby and turns to his father… he hugs him and cries.

Tuesday, July 31, 2018 (S56E): Where’s Anna?

Robert tells Finn that Anna disappeared about a month ago; Finn is confused.  Robert asks when Finn last heard her voice and Finn says it was as she was driving to the airport; he tells Finn Anna never made it to the airport and never made her flight.  Finn tells Robert he is willing to do whatever he can to help Anna; Robert tells him to get a good night’s sleep.  He has arrangements to make.

The D.A. (Margaux) takes a look at the flash drive she found in the envelope with Drew’s name on it.  Drew talks to Curtis about accepting his life, as it is laid out before him now; Curtis says he understands that, and it sounds good, if he is able to do it.  Margaux comes into the bar; she tells Drew that she knows everything now and she apologizes for what he’s gone through.  He says he wouldn’t know how painful it was, because he doesn’t remember.  She starts talking about him having his brother’s memories and then apologizes again and again; he tells her it’s fine and she awkwardly leaves the table.
