Friday, December 14, 2018 (S56E176):Excuse Me

Julian sees Kim with her head on Drew’s shoulders, and decides to get back on the elevator before she sees him.  Alexis comes to wisk Kristina away for the evening, to get a spa treatment with her; Kristina tells her she can’t leave because Julian had to go out for the evening.  She asks if he has been taking care of himself; Kristina says yes.  Julian comes back in and isn't in a good mood; he snaps at Kristina for the shaker being on the bar.  He goes out and starts tearing apart boxes.  Kim gets a text, letting her know that Julian has hired someone to come clean her apartment; Drew suggest she get out of there and go thank him.  She finds him angry, but quickly consoles him with her thankfulness; they hug.  Alexis, sitting at the bar as she speaks with Kristina, smiles.

Marcus has coffee with Stella; he gripes at how Sonny’s dad is going after his wife, Yvonne.  He says it is hard to watch someone you love so much, knowing they don’t even know it.  She tries to explain to her friend that Sonny is just glad his father is happy; she tells Marcus that he is being ungenerous to his wife… he should allow her this happiness.  She tells him she and Mike have a bond now; he says she used to have that bond with him, and he doesn’t want to share her.  He asks if she knows how hard it is to want something just outside of your reach; Stella seems to know, but doesn’t say.  Curtis and Jordan come in; Marcus excuses himself.  Curtis walks him out and gets the distinct impression that the man isn’t happy; Jordan admits to Stella that she had tracked Marcus down, not knowing he was married.  She apologizes for butting into Stella’s personal business, and it’s all Stella can do to keep from laughing.  Curtis comes back in and Stella excuses herself; Curtis asks what he missed.  Jordan just smiles.  Marcus walks into the Turning Forest long-term care center, where Sonny and Carly are watching Mike converse with Yvonne; they notice Marcus in the doorway just as Mike and Yvonne notice they are standing under the mistletoe.

Lulu meets her mom for lunch; she asks when it became December.  Laura tells her that she has figured out who Charlotte is bullying; Lulu can’t believe it when she tells her it is her own cousin, Aiden.  Lulu is astounded that her daughter is bullying her nephew; she tells her mother that Valentin is supportive of the situation, but that Nina refuses to believe Charlotte could bully anyone.  She tells her mother she is going to Wyndemere to take care of this once and for all.  Nina tells Valentin that she is not staying at Wyndemere, calling it the least safe place for her; he does his best to talk her out of leaving.  He says he wishes she wouldn’t be afraid of him; she says she isn’t… she just gets distracted.  He tells her he isn’t the man he was before she met him, because he has been different ever since; he tells her he will never stop trying to win her back again.  They are shocked by Lulu’s abrupt entrance; she matter-of-factly tells them about Charlotte's victim being Aiden.  Lulu insists on taking Charlotte to apologize; after this, Nina tells Valenin to put her bags back… she is staying.  She says she needs to be there to look out for Charlotte.  He smiles.  Laura sits down with Elizabeth, prepared to tell her about Aiden; they are interrupted when Lulu and Charlotte show up at the door.

Thursday, December 13, 2018 (S56E175): Here’s the Deal

Valentin talks to Peter about the charges that are being brought against Obrecht; he tells him he is going to “refuse to testify.”  He says Leisel must have something real incriminating on him.  Curtis tells Sam that all they can determine is that some well-meaning caregiver subscribed to the newspaper in Yvonne’s name, as her husband denied knowing anything about it.  Sam wasn’t successful in her attempts to find out who subscribed to the paper either; Curtis tells her there may be another way.  Kim tells Julian she is so lost, she doesn’t know what to do; she doesn’t even have coffee or milk at home.  He makes her a cup of coffee and tells her he is there for her; she says that’s wonderful, but she has to go.  He makes a phone call.  Jos and Oscar are playing a guessing game; Drew is slightly offended by the “old” references being made.  The nurse comes in to take Oscar for tests.  Carly and Jason talk about everything that is going on.   Carly gets an unexpected visitor; Margaux…she is there to return Sonny’s scarf.  She asks Carly if she will give it to him; Carly is upset to think that Sonny offered her his scarf and she lets him know it when he gets home.

Wednesday, December 12, 2018 (S56E174): Tough Love

Chase finds Griffin passed out, drunk, on a park bench; he brings him back to his apartment and calls Finn.  He says he thinks maybe Finn can reach him, because he’s been there (addicted, devastated by a death, etc.)  Finn does get through to him and convinces Griffin to go take a shower, telling him he reeks; Griffin thanks Chase for the clothes and leaves.  He goes to see Anna; she offers her consolation.  Sasha tells Nina that she is leaving town, but says she promises to stay in touch and invites Nina to come visit her, adding that she won't be stepping foot in Port Charles again, at least until this killer has been caught.  Nina tells her she doesn’t blame her for that; Sasha urges Nina to go back to Wyndemere, claiming she wants to know that she, too, will be safe.  She encourages Nina to give Valentin another chance; Nina seems to consider it, admitting that she is hopelessly in love with him.  They meet Spencer on the way out, and Nina is surprised to hear that he and Sasha already know each other.

Spencer has breakfast with his Uncle Sonny; he has a heart-to-heart talk about doing things for the people you love and then confides in him about causing confusion during the election to buy his grandma Laura more time to campaign.  Sonny makes sure he knows what he did was wrong, but also, subtly tells him that he is proud of him.  Valentin goes to see Obrecht in the interrogation room; he asks what she expects of him; she says to make certain she is never punished for the “vigilante justice she dished out to Peter August.  She tells him she knows he found a fake daughter for Nina, and threatens to expose his lie to Nina if he doesn’t help her.  “Kevin" confronts Carly about her attacking Ava at the graveyard.  Carly is astonished that he is sticking up for her this way; he likens what she is going through to what Carly has been through.  Carly brings up having found a name for her ex-neighbor at Ferncliff; Wilson… “Kevin" tells her he will check into it, asking her to leave it alone again.

Laura goes to give her condolences to Ava; she brings her flowers.  Ava is ugly to her at first, throwing the flowers on the floor, but Laura convinces her she is sincerely sorry about Kiki’s death and Ava’s suffering because of it.  Ava convinces her that the affair with Kevin only recently started, which makes Laura even more confused about his changed behavior.  Anna and Finn talk about what they said the other day; he says he meant it so much he could probably say it again, and he does… Anna replies that she loves him too and they kiss, just as the elevator doors open.  Maxie and Peter are having lunch together; they talk about being happy that they have moved past everything that has happened.  Anna interrupts; she tells Peter that Obrecht has been arrested and is in custody; he thanks her for letting him know.  Peter asks Maxie about the moment they almost kissed the other day, when she calls this lunch a “reset” for them; she says they agreed that didn’t happen… he says he remembers it though, and she admits that she does too.

Tuesday, December 11, 2018 (S56E173): What To Do

Kim sits with Oscar, while he sleeps off the side effects of the treatment.  Margaux tries to give Drew the flash drive with all of his previous memories on it; he doesn’t believe that’s what it really is at first.  Even if it is, he says, he isn’t willing to lose what he has now, to know what is on it; she tells him to take it, in case one day he can use it without losing anything.  He does.  He talks to Jason about it; Jason suggests he just hang on to it and see what happens down the road.  Jason goes to see Oscar; he says he doesn’t want to upset his parents by getting in the middle of things.  Oscar explains why he chose him to be his executor; Jason says he understands, but wonders why Oscar doesn’t seem to have much hope for this treatment to work.  Oscar tells him he is just trying to be prepared, and to maintain his independence.  Jason agrees to do it.

Monday, December 10, 2018 (S56E172): Kiki's Funeral

Ava prepares to go to her daughter's funeral; Julian comes to pick her up but she says she can’t do it.  He tells her she has to… for Kiki.  They go and she sits in the center pew; Liz and Franco come and sit up front, Laura and Lulu show, Molly arrives with Alexis, and more… Franco begins the ceremony with a few quiet words about how much Kiki changed him, what a wonderful influence she was, etc., and then proceeds to talk about Kiki’s quirks, saying what a pest she was some times when she wanted what was best for someone.  Griffin gets up next and says he simply has no words; he told Kiki he hadn’t lost his faith, even when the church stripped him of his privileges… but, now, he says, he has no faith.  He says all he knows is that Kiki loved each and every one of them very much; Apiphany gets up and sings a beautiful song, and the ceremony closes.

Scene moves to the burial ground, where Kiki is already in the ground, I guess; a new mound of dirt is covered with sunflowers and daisies.  Ava sits on the ground next to it, touching the dirt; she says it should be her in there, not Kiki.  Carly agrees and sets Ava off; they have a little tug-o-war and the guys break it up; “Kevin" taking a commanding role.  He suggests they all leave Ava alone for a little while, to be with her daughter; Laura can’t believe how he is standing up for her.  Carly scoffs about her thinking this makes them even.  Carly goes home to Sonny and tells him what happened; “Kevin” offers to take Ava home.

Friday, December 7, 2018 (S56E171): Hello There

Stella goes to see Mike at the long-term care center; he has roses, but he tells her they aren’t for her.  He gives them to a woman sitting there, calling her Yvonne; Stella tells Sonny and Carly she is happy they found each other here.  She sees her friend, Marcus; he tells her that his wife lives there.  He walks over to the woman Mike just gave roses to; Mike is surprised to find out she is married.  Yvonne doesn't seem to recognize him; she continues to chat with Mike.  Sam, meanwhile, finds out that some one in Port Charles is receiving a subscription to this newspaper… the one the obituary was printed in; the hometown of the man Sam was married to.  She gets a name and tracks the woman down, at the long-term care center where Mike happens to be going.  Curtis sees Stella and tries to make her think he just stopped by to see her, while Sam goes over to talk to this woman with Mike, who happens to be the one getting the newspaper subscription.  She seems clueless, but gets upset about Sam’s questions; she makes a scene and Sam’s cover is blown.  Stella tells Curtis she will talk to him later, as she goes to see another client.Finn and Anna do their best to persuade Obrecht to believe that Britt is dying of something called TiberPox? Obrecht hesitates, trying to decide whether or not she should believe them.  She insists on testing the vial of Britt's blood they brought, infected with the disease (in the lab).  Anna asks what happens when she figures it out; Finn isn’t sure what they’ll do.

Thursday, December 6, 2018 (S56E170): Nothing to Hide

Griffin tells Chase that he has no problem answering questions; he wants them to find who killed Kiki as soon as possible.  However, through his questioning, Chase implicates Griffin as a possible suspect in the murder of Mary Pat as well.  Sam talks to her mother; Sam says she needs to go through Griffin’s phone.  She is sure it holds evidence that can set him free.  Anna and Finn practice dancing and make small-talk about beautiful moons turning into tragedy; they hear Leisel enter.  She does not appear happy when Finn asks her if she cares to dance.  Michael finds Willow in the waiting room before a meeting; she is working on school, putting happy faces on the kids folders.  He tells her that the image of her gave him strength to talk about Jonah to someone else; she appreciates that.  Michael hesitates when she asks him about Jonah’s mother; he tells her about Kiki instead and then calls himself a downer.  He asks to borrow one of her happy face stickers; she puts one on his hand.

Curtis and Jordan wake up in bed and revel in their new marriage bond, but Jordan wants to get this case solved and Curtis is supportive.  Curtis goes to meet with Sam; she tells him she needs to hire him now.  Sam admits that when she was young, she was a scam artist, and she would marry old rich men, and then clean out their life insurance policy as their widow when they died.  She shows him the Obituary that someone sent to her; she says she needs to put this part of her life behind her.  Alexis points out the holes in their story when she recovers a picture Kiki and Griffin took thirty minutes before the wedding; his attendance at the wedding, as he waited for Kiki to meet him leaves no time for him to commit her murder and plant her in the honeymoon sweet.

Wednesday, December 5, 2018 (S56E169): What a Nice Surprise

Michael comes in to see Chase; he asks where they are on finding Kiki’s killer… Chase has no answers for him.  Oscar wakes up from his first treatment, feeling awful; Kim reminds him that he is supposed to feel worse before he feels better.  Liz comes in to check on him; he says he feels like he has the flu.  She tells him Dr. Randolf was her best friend in school; Oscar asks what she was like… Liz laughs and says, “always in trouble, mostly because of me.”  Joslyn comes in to see him; he smiles.  They say, “hey” to each other.  Cam comes in to see Oscar; he says he is sorry for everything and Oscar tells him he is a good friend actually; Cam excuses himself quickly, and runs out, almost crying.  Jos sees him in the hallway and tries to apologize to him for her behavior; he cuts her short and gets on the elevator.

Ms. Tate sits down with Lulu at a table and asks if she has had a chance to talk to Charlotte about her behavior yet; Lulu says, not yet because she hasn’t been able to arrange time with Charlotte’s father.  Willow lets her know that the talk needs to take place as soon as possible; she says maybe a different school would be a better fit for Charlotte.  Lulu promises to talk to her right away; she heads to Wyndemere.  At Wyndemere, Charlotte is excited to see Nina; Valentine tries to get Nina to stay again.  Charlotte talks Nina into having another sleepover; Nina says she will stay in the pink room next to Charlotte's.  Lulu arrives; she tells Valentin they have to put a stop to this now.  Nina sort of steps on Lulu’s toes, calling Charlotte "perfect” and offering her milk and cookies right after Lulu and Valentin’s talk with her.

Laura takes Aiden to lunch and tries to get him to open up to her, but he tells her he can’t because it’s “against the rules.”  Laura asks what kind of rules he’s talking about; he just tells her that his teacher doesn’t make the rules in class.  Lulu tells Nina she can’t trust her to do what is best for Charlotte any more; she meets her mom and Aiden.  She says she has no idea who the child is that Charlotte is picking on; Aiden says nothing.  Julian talks to Alexis about Kiki and how little time he had to get to know her; she tells him she is going to represent Griffin because she is certain he didn’t do it.

Tuesday, December 4, 2018 (S56E168): Just Kidding

Of course, "Kevin" tells Ava he didn't literally mean that he killed Kiki – although we know he did; he says, he was just saying maybe if he hadn’t encouraged Ava’s fantasies quite so much, if he had encouraged her to make amends instead, maybe things would be different.  Ava smiles, certain of his sincerity; she hugs him.  Felicia and Mac are surprised when they go to Maxie’s and find her giving Peter a shoulder rub, still in her bathrobe; she explains to them that Peter spent the night in the hall.  Mac calls that kind of stalker-ish, but Maxie says she thought it was sweet; she turns and smiles lovingly at Peter.  She admits to her mother that she is kind of having feelings for Peter; she says she really doesn’t know where she would be right now if it weren’t for him; Felicia tells her to do whatever makes her happy.  Anna and Finn have a discussion, in the hallway of GH, about her going after Obrecht and him going to see Hayden in Rome; Apiphany tells her she is crazy for letting him go meet his ex in Rome, one of the most romantic cities in the world – Finn tries to joke about it, but Apiphany doesn’t think its funny.  She tells Anna she better admit how she feels about Finn before it’s too late; she and Finn both admit that they do love each other.  He surprises Anna at the last minute by getting on the flight with her; he says he and Hayden have nothing left to say to each other.

Monday, December 3, 2018 (S56E167): Alexis Takes Control

Alexis goes to Jordan and demands that her client be arraigned; Jordan agrees, she doesn’t like Griffin for this murder.  While he sits in the interrogation room, Ava comes in; she pulls a gun out of her pocket and tells him she is going to get her revenge.  “Kevin” and Julian figure that is where Ava disappeared to and head to the station to try to stop her; “Kevin” talks her out of shooting Griffin, although Griffin had told her to just get it over with.  He says she took away everything that ever meant anything to him already; now with Kiki gone, he doesn’t really care if he lives or not.Carly and Sonny are stunned when they learn of Kiki’s death; Sonny says, as much as he hates it, they are going to have to let Ava decide how to tell Avery that her sister is gone.

Jason and Sam can’t believe it; Jason says he didn’t know Griffin that well, but he didn’t seem like that kind of a guy.  Sam gets an envelope, without a return address; it is an obituary clipping for a Leland Howell… she says he was her husband.  Jason and Carly talk; Carly worries that Jos is too young to be exposed to this much death.  Sonny talks to Morgan’s gravestone.  Valentine tries to talk Sasha into coming to stay with him at Wyndemere; she is hesitant.  Nina tells her she should; she says it’s the safest place in the city.  (I don’t agree.)  Julian shows up at the police station; Chase tells him he needs to keep his sister away from Griffin Monroe.  “Kevin” takes Ava home; she pours a drink.  She asks him, if Griffin isn’t responsible for her daughter’s death, who is?  He says “I am.”

Friday, November 30, 2018 (S56E166): How Can She Be Gone?

Maxie tells Peter that he should go, after they almost kiss again, luckily being interrupted by James crying… Peter sits down in the hall right outside of Maxie’s door.  He doesn’t want to leave her alone with a killer out there.  Julian stops by to see his sister; “Kevin” tells him Ava is sleeping.  He asks if he would refill a prescription he has called in for her; Julian says okay and tells him Ava is lucky to have him there.  He says he isn’t going anywhere.  Franco and Scotty come to see Ava; she doesn’t really feel up to company, but she agrees to talk to Franco, not for long though.  She shows him pictures of Kiki she is looking at on her bed and asks him to go.  Scotty is surprised when Franco comes back down so fast; he tells Scotty all Ava wants to hear is how its her fault Kiki died.  Jordan accuses Griffin of wanting Kiki dead to spite Ava because Ava ruined his medical career; she says that is motive.  Franco goes to the hospital, where he stares at Kiki’s name on the schedule; Liz sees him, takes it and hugs him.  Sasha tells Valentin that she has had it; she says she is ready to leave town.

Sam wakes Jason up, as he sleeps on her couch…she says its nice to see he still has those stealth reflexes.  They laugh; she apologizes for falling asleep and leaving him there, then flirts, then apologizes for flirting after asking him to wait.  He says its okay and they start to kiss again; Kristina walks through the door, interrupting them again.  She laughs… “we need to stop meeting this way.”  Sam can’t believe she’s just getting home.  She says she was volunteering at a homeless shelter, then stayed to visit with the people for thanksgiving.  Sam asked if she shared her story with these people; she says not yet, but she will… she questions how you can call someone your friend if you don’t confide in them.  Sam tells her she wants to go lay back down until Jason gets back with her medicine; Kristina tells her she wants to try something and attempts rubbing her head the way Daisy did Oscar.  Sam can’t get into it; she laughs and Jason walks in the door.

Anna comes in to see Griffin; he tells her “I didn’t do it.”  She says she knows and she will help him prove it.  She leaves; Ava comes in later.  She says nothing, and neither does he.  She is wearing a trench coat and rubs the pocket.Oscar goes to begin his trial treatment; Terry asks Oscar if he has any last questions.  He asks if it is going to hurt; she tells him they really can’t be sure of the side effects.  She tells him it could cure the tumor, or it could impact this health negatively and shorten the duration of his life instead.  Kim tells Julian she knows he was just trying to protect her from her own worst instincts; she tells him it means the world to him that he is there despite all that.  He tells her he wishes he could stay longer, but has to know.  He kisses her and wishes Oscar well.  Oscar is prepped and taken in for his first treatment.

Thursday, November 29, 2018 (S56E): That’s Not My Daughter

Anna tells Britt, who feels like “hell” now, with a groggy voice; she asks Anna if it is that important (making her really sick).  Anna says it is; she is going to bring Obrecht to justice, she says.  Britt complains about how bad she feels… Finn tells her the virus would run it’s course in six months; she calls it blackmail.  She asks Anna what they want her to do next; Anna says she has put the story out there. Finn is shocked to hear that news like this could be seen by her mother so quickly “on the web.”  Anna is not surprised when Obrecht calls; but she cuts her phone call short, in case someone is tracing it… and she tells Britt she will be fine in Finn’s care.  She hangs up.

Griffin furiously pounds on Ava’s door; she is annoyed, as she and “Kevin” have to get up and get dressed.  She answers; Griffin is out of breath… she tries to tell him to go away, saying she is done with him and Kiki.  He tells her she needs to shut up, and tells her Kiki is dead; she laughs, that can’t be true.  She says he is lying; he tells her she is at the Haunted Star.  Ava goes and demands to see her daughter, if it’s true; she unzips the body bag, and starts sobbing.  The detectives come back with a bloody knife; they say they found it in Griffin’s apartment.  He swears he didn’t do it; he doesn’t know how that knife got from his kitchen, into his closet, wrapped in a towel, with Kiki’s blood on it.  He is arrested.

Wednesday, November 28, 2018 (S56E): Forget Her

Charlotte invites Valentin to go to the ballet with them; Nina tells her she is sitting in the middle.  Charlotte giggles.  Liz and Franco and the boys meet Laura for lunch; the waitress thanks her for going public about her separation, calling it an inspiration for people like her, going through the same thing.  Jake is surprised, asking if that means she and Dr. Collins aren’t married anymore.

Curtis carrying his bride over the threshold is replayed; they turn to see a body on the bed.  They think someone is just passed out, but when Jordan touches the body it is cold… there is no pulse.  It looks like Kiki; Jordan declares this a crime scene and calls it in.  Female victim of a homicide, she says… that’s all she knows at this point.   Valerie asks Griffin to come help; Jordan asks if he will look at the body to verify, though she is pretty sure, they are dead.

Griffin goes in and drops the scarf the second he sees the body; he rolls her over and gasps, “Kiki!”  He feels for a pulse on her neck; she is dead, he tells Jordan.  He begins sobbing; Jordan thanks him for his help, and then tells him she is afraid he needs to leave.  He picks up the scarf and they go to talk at a table; she asks about the scarf, and he tells her how he found Kiki’s apartment.  He said it all looked like things that could have happened if she was busy; the blood on the scarf, he thought, possible from a cut caused by the broken vase.

Ava and “Kevin” end up making love, laying her bed of white satin sheets; she says she has to end their evening to go pick up Avery… the one daughter that still loves her.  “Kevin” tells her Avery can wait a minute; he kisses her.  He then tells her to forget that Kiki even exists.

Tuesday, November 27, 2018 (S56E): Oscar Changes His Mind

Carly walks in to find Jos on the floor crying; she tells her mother Oscar is sick… Carly is shocked when she tells her it’s a malignant brain tumor.  Jos says he didn’t want her to have to deal with it; that’s why he broke up with her.  Carly asks what they should do; Joslyn says she doesn’t know.  She tells her about the experimental procedure; she isn’t aware that he is telling his parents right now that he has changed his mind and will agree to receive treatment.  Kim and Drew smile in relief; Monica hears and smiles as well.  She tells them the pizza is in the living room; Kim thanks Monica for whatever she might have said to Oscar.  Monica admits it wasn’t anything she said; Oscar says Jos made him realize taking the risk was worth it, if it meant spending more time with her.  Kim can’t believe that he still wants to remain independent, he is keeping his job and staying where he is staying.  He makes it clear that Jos is the only reason he is going through with this.

Drew tells Kim that he is going to try to forget that she was getting ready to kidnap his son, and heads off to express his gratitude to Joslyn; Kim asks her to thank her, for her too.  Jos asks Drew how things are; he says better than they have been in a long time, and thanks her.  Alexis shows up at Monica’s; Julian lets her in on his way out.  Oscar tells her, politely, that she is fired; she tells him she has never been so happy to get her walking papers.  Oscar calls Jos; Drew comes back to the mansion.  Kim pouts that he made it clear he is only doing this for Joslyn; Drew says she could have the rest of her life to make up with him.

Stella walks in to the chapel, and says she needs to say her piece; she asks Jordan and Curtis to forgive her, saying it took her a while to get there, she’s sorry she is late, and she takes her seat, which was saved for her still.  They smile; the pastor says, if you’re there before it’s over, you are right on time.  The wedding proceeds… its kind of a long, drawn out ceremony; Curtis tries to kiss the bride a little early.  Griffin looks for Kiki, who hasn’t shown yet; he says she was supposed to meet him there and must have been held up.  The pastor asks for the rings; Nina teases Curtis that she may have lost them, but they are tied together on a ribbon and she dangles them in front of him.  The pastor continues to join them as man and wife; they kiss, everyone claps, including Stella.  Stella offers Jordan a satin handkerchief; Molly is elated because that’s the something old that was missing before the wedding.  The couple dances; Lulu notices that Laura is exceptionally upset.

Laura tells Lulu and she saw Kevin and Ava Jerome in a passionate kiss, when she went to return Ava’s campaign contribution.  Laura tells her daughter, “something is wrong… Kevin is not acting like himself at all.”  Griffin goes to Kiki’s apartment to check on her, and is shocked to see her door open; he sees a broken piece of glass on the floor and her scarf on the couch.  He calls and leaves her a message, in case she just left it there, but he notices a spot of blood on it when he steps out of the door.  Curtis carries Jordan over the threshold of their cabin and they are shocked by something lying on the bed.

Monday, November 26, 2018 (S56E162): It’s Thanksgiving 2018!

It is also the date for Jordan and Curtis’ wedding; Curtis calls his aunt and leaves her a message.  He says they would love to have her there, if she would change her mind.  Nina gives Curtis a hard time, technically lecturing him about the rules of marriage; she laughs and says she just wants to make sure he knows what he’s getting into.  Laura confronts “Kevin” and Ava; she says at least she knows now why their marriage is ending.  After Laura leaves, he and Ava go back to kissing.  They go back to Ava’s gallery; he says he wants to spend as much time with her as he can.  Joslyn goes to talk to Oscar; she tells him she knows and begs him to do something to give them more time together.  He tells her he can’t and runs out on her; she goes home… he goes to the mansion.

Monica buys a load of high-quality pizza this year, without even trying to cook dinner.  She says they always end up ordering it anyway, so she thought she’d just get it over with… and she says, this family deserves the best.  Ned is not happy when Julian arrives for Thanksgiving dinner; he assumes that Kim invited him and tells her it’s a little presumptuous.  Olivia steps out and tells her that Kim didn’t invite him, she did.  Leo, pretty grown up all of the sudden, comes running out and jumps into his father’s arms.  Ned asks Olivia why she didn’t warn him Julian was coming; she says she knew he would object, but she wanted him to see how good this would be for Leo.  She says Julian has changed since he got out of prison; suddenly they notice the pickup for the food drive took the wrong boxes; they got all the pizzas!  Monica orders cheap pizzas once again, and they sing “We Gather Together.”

Kiki tells Griffin she still has half a mind to turn Ava into the cops for what she did to him and Sasha; all dressed up and ready to go, they start kissing and don’t stop.  They lay back on the couch.  He gets a call from Monica about his possible reinstatement; he heads out the door, now half dressed.  Julian tells Kim that he has been in touch with his former associates and warns her to think long and hard about this before they go too far.  She says she has; she hugs him and thanks him.  Drew walks up behind them and tells them he knows about their plan to kidnap Oscar; he tells Julian to stay away from his son.  Lucas and Brad arrive at the mansion with the baby; Michael is the first one to greet them at the door.  He asks to hold the baby; Brad looks nervous.  The wedding begins.  Kiki is running late; when she goes to leave, “Kevin” is standing at the door.

Wednesday, November 21, 2018 (S56E161): What the Hell?

Cameron comes over to find Joslyn in the middle of a Thanksgiving Day project; making name place holders for the table.  Sonny brings in tickets to the Macy’s parade and asks Kristina to go with him and Avery; she says she can’t.  She’s working.  Her friend, Daisy comes in; she introduces her to Sonny as “Dad.”  Ava is packing her backs for a one-way trip to Montenegro; she says her daughter and her are leaving Port Charles and never coming back.  Jason comes to see Sam; she is sick.  He insists on staying with her, she protests, but gives in; he sits down by her and says he’ll take care of her.  She admits that it is nice to be rescued sometimes.

Alexis meets with Oscar; she gives him her motherly advice, then reminds him that she is his lawyer and she will do whatever she can to help him gain his freedom of choice.  She says she has to go and kisses him on the forehead.  Laura meets with Kevin at Charlies, and hands him a paper; it’s the statement she’s written for the press.  She thought he might want to look at it; he doesn’t like the part that says they are trying to work on their marriage.  He tells her to take it out.  Sonny sees Laura; he tells her she has his support.  She thanks him.

“Kevin” comes to Ava’s rescue when she gets into a fight with Nina, which turns physical for a moment.  She tells him she has no one who cares about her; he tells her, “you have me.”  She asks him to clarify; he tells her she has been more of a goddess to him than a friend and kisses her.  Laura comes in to see this passionate encounter.  Valentin notices someone at Wyndemere; Spencer says he hopes he doesn’t mind.  He says the cold doesn’t bother him anymore because the fire of vengeance keeps him warm.  Spencer tells him his grandmother is taking over the city, and when she does, that place will be his.  Nina talks to Sasha about going to see the Nutcracker; Sasha says she can’t go… not after what happened last light.   She tells Nina she wasn’t physically hurt, but she doesn’t want to go anywhere.  But she goes to see Valentin; she tells him about the assault by Ava.  He offers her more compensation; she tells him he might be right about her staying… he says just to let him know the next time something goes wrong and he’ll buy her a first class ticket home.  Nina appears around the corner and peeks in the door.

Daisy asks Oscar if he has been keeping up with his reading; he says he’s been busy.  She tells Oscar not to give up, saying, “if you think it, it can be.”  Joslyn gets extremely angry when Cameron tells her that Oscar is sick, and admits that he has known for some time.  She runs out of the room after pushing all the place holders off of the coffee table.  Sonny is surprised to see Cameron there without Jos; he says he was waiting to see if she would come back.  He hands Sonny his gift for Jos and asks him to give it to her, then quickly makes his exit.

Tuesday, November 20, 2018 (S56E160): Who Are You?

Jordan and Curtis are both brought into a room, blindfolded; their group of friends tell them, since they vetoed all the regular bachelor and bachelorette party stuff.  So they rented an Escape Room; of course, the bridal party is Cassadine themed, and the groom’s side is Ryan Chamberlain themed.  Carly puts Spenelli on the job of finding out the name of the person who was in the room next to her; she sees Ava lurking around and tells her to leave the premises.  Stella and Marcus talk; he asks how “those two boys” she raised are.  She tells him that one of them is getting married tomorrow; he assumes she must be proud… she tells him she lost “the older one” Thomas to friendly fire in the military.K

iki knocks, then opens the door; she immediately notices the two in bed… but doesn’t seem to notice how ‘off’ everything looks.  Griffin happens to wake up, he sits up and looks at Kiki – he looks down at Sasha and jumps out of bed.  He notices he is naked and grabs his pants; he tells Kiki, “it isn’t what it looks like” as he runs after her.  He convinces her that some one is trying to set them up; Sasha says she doesn’t remember even texting him; he examines her and says she shows signs of being drugged; she says she bets she knows who did it.  Marcus tells Stella regret is a terrible thing; anger only breeds more of it – he says that’s the lesson he learned.  They hug goodbye

Laura runs into “Kevin,” who tells her clearly he is not the same man he was when she left a year and a half ago; she tells him she is giving the press a statement about their separation and some reporters might be calling him.  He says that’s fine.  Laura tells Carly her marriage is falling apart; Ava thanks “Kevin” for encouraging her to go after what she wants.  She asks if he is going to take his own advice.  Kiki comes to confront her; she tells her she knows that she drugged Sasha and hit Griffin over the head.  Ava looks guilty as hell; Kiki tells her she can’t believe she always finds a new way to hurt her.  She vows never again; Carly is on the phone, she thanks someone and writes down the name “Wilson!”

Monday, November 19, 2018 (S56E159): Go To Sleep

Michael wishes Griffin well and thanks him for sticking it out; Griffin says he loves his job and the community at GH and just wants to get back.  Ava overhears a worker say a food tray is to be delivered to room 1007; she puts powder from one of the pills into the soup while no one is looking.  She sneaks into Sasha’s room shortly afterward; she is passed out cold… Ava says, “sweet dreams Princess” and tucks her in   She throws her clothes around and opens a bottle of champagne, putting some on Sasha’s lips, then texts Griffin to come over to her room.  Griffin gets the text; he sees Mike and Stella coming in for pie.  He shakes Mike’s hand; Mike doesn’t remember him.  Sam comes in to see her father; she is surprised when he tells her he has had dinner with Lucas.  He tells her Lucas is giving him a chance, and he hopes the same will happen with her.  She thanks him for the drink and leaves.

Kiki runs into Franco at work; she tells him about her new half-sister.  He tells her Nina just introduced them and says she seems nice; Kiki says she is, sort of, adding that she got more than she bargained for.  She tells him everything; he says she handled it very mature-like.  She thanks him and goes back to work.  Griffin shows up at Sasha’s room to find her passed out; he goes to check her pulse and Ava whacks him over the head with the bottle of champagne.  He falls to the ground; she undresses him and puts him in bed with Sasha… she toasts to “true love” as she takes a sip of champagne.

Stella is stunned when an old friend walks into the diner; she introduces him as Marcus… they still have eyes for each other, but Stella is disappointed when he tells her his wife is being treated at the hospital here.  Stella tells Marcus she is happy he is there and says it’s nice to see him.  He asks her to stay and have coffee with him, so they can catch up; she smiles.  Jordan and Curtis meet for dinner at the Metro Court; she gives him a pair of cuff links for a wedding present.  He hands her a golden heart necklace; she tells him she has to leave him for the evening because she has a full night of spa treatments ahead of her.  He offers to walk her to her door; they get on the elevator, kissing.  Jordan walks in the door to an unexpected party.

Drew tells Kim that maybe they should prepare themselves to honor their son’s wishes and let him die on his terms.  Kim gets angry and says she doesn’t care what he says, or anyone else – she is not willing to give up.  Monica takes Oscar on a tour of the town, showing him all the contributions the Quartermaines have made; she tells him he is a part of it all now too.  He smiles.  She mentions his great-grandfather loving to read; he says he likes to read too, but it just gives him headaches now.  She suggests audio books.  He wonders if his relatives will think he’s a quitter; Monica asks why.  Kim pleads with Drew to take Oscar and leave the country with her; she wants to force him into the trial but Drew says if it didn’t work, he wouldn’t be able to live with himself.  She says she won’t be able to forgive herself if she doesn’t try.  He says he won’t make his son a hostage in what could be the last days of his life; Kim leaves angry.  Sam finds Drew sitting in the alley; she asks what she can do.  He asks if she can stop clocks, to give Oscar some more time.

Sam shares pictures of Scout with him; Kim runs to Julian and asks if he can reach any of his old contacts; she says they need passports and everything.  She asks if he will help her kidnap Oscar; she thinks it’s the only way she can save him.  Ava tells Franco that some one saw Griffin and Sasha going into her room; she says she is sure they are in bed right now.  She convinces him that Kiki needs to see this for herself, so he agrees to be the one to go and tell Kiki.  Kiki rushes out of the hospital, and over to the Metro Court; the episode ends as we see Kiki opening the door.  I wonder if she’ll notice they are drugged and knocked unconscious?

Friday, November 16, 2018 (S56E158): Charlotte's Behavior is Addressed

“Kevin” goes to meet Ava at the bar; he asks if he can sit down.  She says, she guesses, since he is no longer her doctor – the boundaries are out of the way; he tells her he’s been dying for a “bloody Mary.”  He notices that she is wounded, angry and alone; he says he has the perfect cure for that.  He gives her some sleeping pills, assuring her that they are safe, and bids her goodbye.  Liz tries to get Aiden to talk about school, but he only says a little about Career Day; he asks for money for the vending machine.  He comes back with Choco-diles; Franco asks him to paint him a picture of his hamster.  Aiden almost opens up, but doesn’t.  Franco asks him to draw a picture of their family next; Aiden draws himself exceptionally small.

Ms. Tate calls Lulu and says they need to talk about Charlotte; Lulu shows up but Willow says she is still waiting to hear from Charlotte’s father.  Nina is surprised when she arrives at work to find Valentin in her office; he gets the call from Ms. Tate and leaves… Nina follows him.  Valentin arrives; Ms. Tate starts to talk, but Nina barges in, announcing herself as Charlotte’s step-mother.  Willow proceeds to say that Charlotte is bright and quick, calling her assertive, and says that it has evolved into bullying.  Lulu can’t believe it; Ms. Tate says it has become more frequent and more open, doing it in front of her and other teachers, as if she knows there won’t be any consequences.  Nina gets upset and says she doesn’t know ‘her’ daughter… Lulu turns and looks at her.  Nina continues, saying that the problem isn’t with Charlotte, the problem is with Ms. Tate.  Willow says Charlotte likes to push boundaries, even making fun of adult guests.  She tells them this is unacceptable, and must change.  Nina gets aggressive; Valentin apologizes and Lulu asks Nina to go.  Nina agrees; Lulu says she will call her later.

Kiki sees Griffin at the hospital, in a suit; he says he is going to talk to the ethics committee again.  She asks what he is going to tell them; he says the same thing he did last time – the truth.  Kiki says, speaking of truth, her sister could use some; she offers to talk to Sasha about the flirting and wishes him luck with the ethics committee.  She goes to talk to Sasha, and tells her that she wants her to move out, by tonight.  Sasha seems surprised, since she had just apologized for the flirting, due to a misunderstanding (i.e. Ava telling her they were just friends with benefits).  Kiki says she hopes they can start over again, as friends, not as roommates; Sasha says she will be out by tonight.  She sees Ava at the Metro Court bar and tells her, if she wants to try breaking up her daughter and Griffin again, she can leave her out of it.  She places an order and says she just checked in to a room there.

Jason and Sam tell Michael that they found Nelle at Ferncliff; he asks what exactly she was doing there.  They tell her everything; Michael listens calmly.  He thanks them and tells them that he will be fine; he leaves.  He goes to see Willow; he can see she’s upset.  He gives her a box of seeds.  Sam asks Jason what his plans for Thanksgiving are; he says, “you first.” They make it a date.

Margaux asks Sonny what he’s going to do… kill her like he killed his father?  Sonny asks why he would want her dead; he says he is out of the equation - she asks why he is there then.  He says he just wants to make sure she knows that she can’t prove his involvement in her father’s murder; he reminds her that there is no physical evidence and tells her if she keeps digging, things are going to get worse, and the only one she’ll be hurting is herself.  He pleads with her to be happy and surround herself with people she loves, who love her.

Thursday, November 15, 2018 (S56E157): What Does Hayden Want?

Curtis hands Finn an envelope; it’s a letter from Hayden.  They notice the postmark is from the French-Italian border; Finn asks how she is.  Curtis tells him she's okay... doesn't stay in once place too long.  He hands him a letter and tells him to read it; he talks about almost being a father.  Anna tells him he would have been a really good dad; he says, he is happy with his life.  Anna urges him to read the letter; she says she isn’t concerned about what the letter says, only about what he isn’t telling her.  She asks if they have unfinished business.

Drew runs into Margaux; he is pretty cold to her.  She tells him that her plans to take down Sonny blew up in her face.  She says a good prosecutor could make a case against her mother; Drew is shocked at how cold she is.   Curtis comes to talk to Drew; Drew asks what their plans for a honeymoon are… Curtis says they have none; Drew tells him they are going to Fiji.  Curtis is elated; Drew says he owes him for all the time he saved his ass.  He tells him he left the reservation open-ended.  Franco sees “Kevin” in the hallway and asks to talk, but “Kevin” snaps that he doesn’t have time.  Franco says he understands; he tells him that he just finished talking to the PCPD himself about the murder… they wanted to see if he could give them some insight about a real-life alleged psycho-killer.  Franco says he knows he is fooling himself though; he says he knows more about the killer than he told the police… he says, he knows enough about him to put him away for good.  "Kevin" looks concerned.  "Kevin" tells him it would be a mistake to access the memories of impulses that he may or may not be able to control; he urges Franco to let the authorities deal with this.

Elizabeth goes to see Aiden’s teacher; she tells Liz that Aiden wouldn’t respond when asked to ask a guest a question.  Ms. Tate says she thinks she may know the cause; Ms. Tate tells Liz that she believes Aiden is being targeted by a bully; she refuses to say who the bully is though.  She claims she missed the warning signs; she says it isn’t physical, just verbal and social – name-calling, teasing, spreading lies and rumors.  Liz knows all too well how much that kind of treatment feels; she calls Franco.  Franco wants to talk to this kid’s parents to put a stop to this; Ms. Tate says she can’t let him do that.  She thinks it would only make the situation worse; she offers some brochures to them and tells them to encourage Aiden to talk, about anything.  She says not to force anything; he will shut down.  He has to feel safe about confiding, and let him choose how he can help himself.  She says she is trying diffuse the bullying, admitting that she doesn’t want to give up on this child.  Elizabeth can tell, this is kind of personal to her.  She says her goal is to make every single kid feel welcome there at school.

Liz calls and asks Franco to meet her at Aiden’s school; he says he’s on his way.  Jordan calls Sonny and Carly in to tell them they have definitive evidence in the murder of Mary Pat.  Jordan says they have reviewed the security footage, and witness interviews confirm the timeline, putting Carly way past the time that she could have killed Mary Ingles.  Carly asks how the hell her hair ended up in Mary Pat’s hands; she wants to know who is trying to set her up.  Jordan just tells them they should step up their security, just in case.  “Kevin” comes in and asks how Carly is holding up; he acts shocked that someone is trying to frame her for the murder.  She asks why Nelle Benson is in the room where her former neighbor was, but Jordan calls “Kevin” in before he can respond to her.  He doesn’t give her much information, rather he seems to be absorbing it.  He says the killer might strike again; Jordan says they will be ready.  Carly gets angry when she notices that Sonny really feels sorry for Margaux; she tells him to handle her however he wants.  He goes to see Margaux and tells her they need to “finish this.”

Wednesday, November 14, 2018 (S56E156): Career Day at School

Aiden is late for school… he forgets his backpack, misses the bus, and Franco offers to take him; he says maybe he should stay home since he’s so late already.  Peter approaches Maxie in the Metro Court; he tells her she should be more discrete when on a stakeout.  Valentin expresses his concern to Sasha about her staying in town; she says she’ll be careful.  Laura asks him who this is and he introduces her as Nina’s daughter.  Maxie admits that it is hard for her to leave stay out of other people’s business.  Laura comes over and interrupts their conversation.  Peter mentions Nina’s invitation to the wedding; she tells him Nathan would be happy if Nina went with anyone who wasn’t Valentin.  Curtis comes and asks Nina to stand in for Drew, who now has other obligations; he tells her he wants her to be his “best person” and she says she would be honored.  He is concerned when she tells him she gave Sasha a job there at Crimson.

Anna asks to steal Peter away for a minute; she tells him about Britt being “ill" now, which he finds funny because she didn’t look sick the other day.  She smiles and says looks can be deceiving; she tells him the less he knows, the less he has to lie about.  He says it seems she and Valentin are sharing the same goal these days… trying to make things right; she is surprised when he mentions the reunion of Nina and her daughter.  Peter asks who Maxie is taking to the wedding; she doesn’t answer.

Finn is freaking out because he is scheduled to speak at school Career Day; other important people are there too.  He knows they are just third graders, but he is a nervous wreck; Anna tells him that he will do great… either make them want to be doctors or send them running to law school.  Ms. Tate begins class; Aiden isn’t there yet… Charlotte notices.  Liz is concerned about Aiden’s hesitation to go; at work, she snaps at Scotty.  Franco takes the blame for Aiden being late; Willow says it’s no problem.  Finn asks if Franco knows where Ms. Tate’s room is and Franco sends him on a wild goose chase.

Scotty goes to see Franco; he asks what’s going on.  Franco talks with him about Aiden, saying he has gone from outgoing and carefree to uptight and sullen.  Scotty tells him to talk to the teacher.  Laura notices Liz is upset; she gets her to open up about Aiden; she says she feels like she is failing as a mother.  Laura assures her she is great mother; she says she just had a bad morning.  She suggests calling Lucky; Liz says that might do more harm than good.  Laura tells her she is there for her; they hug.  Valentin comes to Crimson, to return an earring he found to Nina; he wants to talk, but she says she’s busy.  Maxie and Peter come in; he tells Nina he accepts her invitation.  Valentin is not happy to hear that they are going to the wedding together.Finn finally arrives, as Ms. Tate is introducing their first speaker, Stella; she gives an upbeat presentation about being a social worker.  He can’t believe she wore a costume; Lulu gives her presentation about being a reporter… she says they provide people with information so they can make up their own minds.  Michael is next; he tells the kids what ELQ does by demonstrating a chemistry experiment, and giving out pumpkin seeds.  Aiden stays back, when all the other kids get up close and personal.

Up next is Chase; he gives an intriguing description about being a police officer and then brings in his K9 police officer companion, Thor.  Ms. Tate shakes Thor’s hand and Chase says “and you should never, ever illegally park,” adding that the comment was not directed at them.  When Finn gets up, Charlotte gives him a really hard time; the teacher says she will see her after school today.  She asks Aiden if he has a question, and Charlotte turns around to say that “Aiden doesn’t have a voice at all.”  Aiden sinks in his chair; Ms. Tate says nothing to Charlotte about this comment though.  The bell rings, interrupting Finn’s presentation and the kids all run out; Ms. Tate suggests they do it again sometime.  She tells Michael to bring her some seeds next time; he smiles and says he will do that… Chase lingers behind to get her contact information - for his brother – but makes it clear that he is the one who actually wants her number.  He asks her out; she gives him a hard time, but accepts and says she looks forward to his call.  Liz gets a call from Willow; she says they need to have a conversation about her son.

Tuesday, November 13, 2018 (S56E155): The Truth Broke Her

Margaux asks Sonny why he stayed, he said she was in no condition to be left alone, and he felt sorry for her.  She gets a text, and so does he… she guesses his is also about Carly being questioned for the murder.  Alexis meets with Oscar, gives him tax forms, an application to take the GED, and insurance forms to fill out.  He says he doesn't know how to do all that, but she says he is going to have to figure it out.  Julian tells her he knows what she is doing, trying to show Oscar how hard it is going to be; on behalf of Kim, he thanks her.  Carly asks what information Jason found about her old neighbor; he tells her Nelle was in that room now.  She says, if that patient died there, they would do whatever they could to cover it up; she then says, if he were released before Halloween there would be someone else to blame for Mary Pat’s murder.  Jordan tells Curtis she has nearly ruled out Carly as a suspect, but the hair strands mean they can’t eliminate her completely.  She wonders if the real goal was to set up Carly, and why.  After examining the photos more carefully, they realize this is the work of a serial killer.

Jason comes to see Carly; he tells her he is worried about her… he believes the killer is setting her up.  They discuss who it might possibly be; she says it “doesn't feel like Ava."  Sonny gets home; she asks where he was last night... he tells her he was with Margaux.  Mike comes back in; he forgot his wallet and came back to get it.  He asks if everything is alright; Sonny tells him everything that happened in Croten is over... finished.  Mike doesn’t even seem to know what he is talking about; he says they are going to Charlie’s because Stella likes the eggs there.  Curtis comes in; Mike asks to see the engagement rings he just picked up.  Stella remains quiet; Curtis tells his auntie he wishes she could be there on the day he marries the woman he loves.  She says she can’t; Mike tells her that’s a shame.  Jason and Carly question what Sonny means by “it's finished."  Carly worries, Margaux may come after him harder than before.  He says he doesn’t think so because the truth broke her and he feels bad about that.  Jason says if she can't take her anger out on her mother, or Joe Scully, he is the next best thing.

Cameron asks Jos if she wants to keep pretending like they are dating; she says yes because even Oscar’s mom thinks they are together.  Cam smiles.  She tells him she really appreciates him stepping in and says she has had a great time with him; he says, he has to.  They decide to go get something to eat on the way to school; they stop at Charlie’s.  Oscar is working; he and Jos are cordial to each other, but it is obviously uncomfortable.  Kim tells Drew about her attempt to talk to Joslyn; she realized Oscar would see that as another betrayal of her trust.  Monica overhears them talking and asks for details; she goes to Charlie’s to talk to Oscar… she tells them about Emily facing a similar choice, before she was murdered.  Jordan can tell Margaux is hung over; she assures her she was not celebrating.  Jordan says she understands, after Margaux explains everything.  Margaux says she doesn’t know what to think, or do, with all this information; Jordan says, she thinks she does.  She has to decide if finally closing the case on her father's murder is worth sending her mother to prison.

Monday, November 12, 2018 (S56E154): What If?

In this episode we see Sonny, as a kid, Brooklyn, New York, 1985; he pulls the trigger and shoots Vince Marino.  He wakes up to see Margaux still asleep on the couch, and wanders over to the window; looking out, he sees himself, as a kid again.  Scene backs up and we see Sonny, as a kid, about to shoot Marino; his father shows up and stops him.  He wakes up again… this time Margaux is not on the couch; there is a picture of him, as a police officer on the shelf.  He looks in the mirror and turns to examine the room; nothing is the same.

There is a picture of Dante, dressed in leather, and two other girls, with Olivia, who enters the room; she tells him they are going to see their son in Port Charles today.  She tells him he needs to be more supportive of their son, no matter what choices he is making.  They get to Puzzolo’s restaurant, where Dante apparently works; Olivia notices Sam’s earrings… Sam says Dante got them for her, for their anniversary.  They sit down to eat and Sonny asks about his son’s business; Dante tells him he wouldn’t understand.  Julian and Ava come in and Dante introduces them to his parents; Sonny is not very polite.  Dante tells Julian he will meet with them in a minute; Sonny lets his displeasure be known... he gets up and leaves.

He goes into the police station to speak to the Commissioner; he sees Alexis, the D.A.  Anna comes out and introduces herself; she snidely says she has met Dante, calling him “charming.”  He warns her Julian and Ava have expanded their territory; she seems to disregard his warning.  Julian tells Dante he was right about A.J. Quartermaine being "right for the picking”… enter Jason, who is introduced to Dante as Jason Smith; Ava kisses him intimately.  Sonny is disappointed that Anna doesn’t seem to care what Julian is doing in Port Charles; he asks Alexis why she’s “on the take.”  Alexis tells him about Anna’s daughter, Robyn, who died of full-blown AIDS in 1990 because there was no care available at General Hospital.  Sonny thanks her for letting him know that.  Carly comes in threatening Ava, saying her son had to leave the country because of them; Sonny smiles.

Dante meets with Jordan and gives her evidence on Julian Jerome; he says he is doing it for his father… he despises the Jerome’s as he does.  She says if his father knew, he would be proud.  Carly laughs about how Michael got out, and how they have to deal with A.J. now; she says they will end up in prison.  She asks Jason how he can allow this to happen; he ignores her.  Julian tells Carly to leave; she starts to swing her fist at him, but Sonny offers to walk her out.  They go for coffee; she tells him her name is Caroline, but says she likes to be called Carly… they shake hands, and exchange a familiar look.  He asks about her son; she tells him A.J. is the CEO of ELQ, and a drunk.  She is angry that her son is half a world away, and says they fought before he left; Sonny says he understands, being the father of three kids.  Julian tells Jason to eliminate whoever it is that turned him in; Sonny asks Carly why she doesn’t go after her son and apologize.  He admits he just fought with his son; says, he’s in a bad way.  She tells him to take his own advice… or stay and drink with her.

Sam asks Dante what is going to happen now that Julian and Ava have been arrested; he tells her he plans to take over, but she says this is their chance… to leave and be free.  He says if she doesn't like the life he's given her, she can leave and he’ll find someone else to take her place.  She lays her ring on the bar; Jason watches her.  He asks if she’s okay; she says her marriage is officially over.  He asks where she is going to go; she says Wyoming or Montana maybe… she suggests he do something for himself, like get on a motorcycle and just ride away.  He says he used to have one, but he got rid of it when he started working for Frank; she says he should get another.  He gets a text to meet at Pier 55; when he shows up, Dante shoots him.  Carly tells Olivia Sonny was going to meet Dante... Sonny runs onto the docks to stop Dante from shooting Jason again, and accidentally shoots Dante.  Olivia screams, “you just shot your own son” with a familiar tone.

Scene flashes back to Sonny, as a kid, but this time Sonny, as an adult is there; he tells him there will be consequences for the choice he makes, and he says, “I know” and pulls the trigger.  Sonny wakes up again, Margaux on the couch, and he stares out the window.

Friday, November 9, 2018 (S56E153): Sonny’s Vindication

So Margaux tells her mother she wants to see those letters and warns her not to throw them in the fire; her mother complies.  Margaux begins reading, out loud; she is emotionally shaken by her mother’s words of passion for Joe Scully, and her plot to get rid of her father.  Her mom asks Sonny if he is enjoying this, saying “its your party.”  Margaux decides to make it a party and offers to pour Sonny a drink; she pours herself one too… and then another.  She orders her mother out of the house – out of her own house – and her mother leaves; Sonny stays there with her.  He calls Carly and tells her that he will be home in the morning; he sees Margaux passed out on the floor… he picks her up and puts her on the couch and puts a blanket over her.  Carly is brought in for questioning; Jordan tells her, it was her hair that was clutched in Mary pat’s hands.  Carly can’t imagine how it got there; she answers Jordan’s questions honestly and goes home, after Diane puts up a good argument for her release.  Jordan does point out that Sonny could have taken care of this for Carly… Carly asks why Ava isn’t a person of interest, since the rest of the body was found at her gallery.  She says she probably did it and set her up for it.

Nina talks to Sasha over lunch; they have a discussion about honesty and Sasha says she hasn’t been honest about something.  She says she has not been having any luck finding work with the temp agencies around there; Nina says that wasn’t a lie, it was a lack of knowledge about the work available in Port Charles.  She offers her the job at Crimson again, and says if she doesn’t live up to expectations she will have to fire her ass; on that condition, Sasha accepts.  Franco stops by the table to say hi to Nina and Nina introduces him to her daughter, with a short explanation.  He laughs about being the father of three kids himself now and says, “look at us, all grown up and acting mature.”  Nina laughs.  Sasha says she is going home to bed so she can make her new boss proud in the morning.Kiki and Griffin decide to make love and go to the bedroom; Griffin gets up for a glass of water and runs into Sasha, who gets obviously flirtatious with him, wiping his face with her glass of water and giving it to him.  Kiki comes out, notices, and tells him to come back to bed.  They wonder if they were misinterpreting Sasha hitting on him; Kiki says that was not okay.

Elizabeth hugs Franco and tells him she is proud of him for helping the police; she sits on his lap and he tells her he is proud of her too.  Franco tells her he wants to go back to see Dr. Collins; she says she is glad.  She asks what they are going to do with Aiden though; he suggests he “take a crack at him, with some paint and glue and all that good stuff.”  Liz’ friend, Terry comes by; she talks to her about Aiden.  Terry compares his issues with a child with a tumor, who she still can’t help.  She tells her about Kim trying to push Oscar into the trials, when he just wants to dance and sing and live his life, while he can.  She says she feels useless; Liz asks what she needs from her – she says perspective, and asks what else she can do for this family.  Liz explains that all you can do is be there and tell the kid how wonderful he is; show up, she says, and keep showing up and doing your best.  Terry shares her story about being a scared teenage boy who was bullied; Liz realizes all she can do is just “be there” for her child so he knows he is not alone.

“Kevin” sits in his (brother’s) office; Ava knocks on the door.  He sits his ring on the desk and calls her in and says he is “ready and waiting” for her.  She thanks him, and notices the ring.  He picks it up, claiming he didn’t mean to leave it there… she says she is sorry; he tells her he is the one who broke it off.  He tells her it was inappropriate of him to take her to Charlie’s this morning and apologizes to her.  He suggest they get back to her and the ways she is managing her anger lately.  She tells him about her plan for Griffin to cheat on Kiki, with Sasha… she is sure it is going to happen, she just needs to make sure it happens where Kiki will see it.  Kevin suddenly tells her he can’t be her doctor anymore; he says he finds her “too fascinating” he says he can’t be objective where she is concerned.  Ava smiles.

Thursday, November 8, 2018 (S56E152): What’s Your Motivation?

As Sam and Jason investigate the rooms at Ferncliff, they discover Nelle… singing to a rolled up blanket, “rock-a-bye baby” and rocking back and forth on the floor.  Sam wonders if she is just faking it to stay out of prison, or if she is trying to re-live Carly’s life; she tells her Carly was a much better actor.  Curtis tells the head nurse that she first thing she should have done was called the State Agency to verify his service.  She apologizes and says she will do that right away; Sam is obviously covering the State Agency phone line.  He checks out; Sam texts him to come ASAP to where they are.  She tells Nelle that they know she’s acting, and asks who told her this was a way out – she stands up, throws the blanket down, and starts ranting about what she is going to do to Carly when she gets out of there… she stops when Curtis walks in with the head nurse.  Sam tells the nurse that they know she is faking; Nelle says they are lying… she tells her, “I am crazy, I’m supposed to be here.”  The nurse says, “catch 22… if you know you are crazy, you’re not.”

Sonny agrees to drive with Margaux to confront her mother; before they get there he asks her if she is sure she wants to hear her mother say those words… he knocks on the woman’s door, wearing a wire.  He doesn’t actually introduce himself; he just says they have some one in common, Joe Scully.  She tries to deny really knowing Joe, until Sonny tells her his name; she gets nervous and asks him to leave.  He tells her he needs to know why her husband was killed; he asks for a drink… she pours him one.  He starts reminiscing; he says he remembers seeing her there with Joe, thought she was his girlfriend, but didn’t know she was married to his lawyer.  She asks what he wants; he says he wants her to admit that she wanted Joe dead.  She denies it; he tells her he has proof.  He claims to have the letters from her dresser drawer; she goes to look for them.  She finds them and says, “they are right here.”  He laughs and says of course they are; “where else would they be?”  She says she is going to burn them right now, like she should have years ago.  Margaux hears all of this; she goes in to confront her mother.

Carly wonders why Joslyn got all showered and dressed up for Cameron to come over and study, instead of staying in her sweats.  She said she was stinky and she wasn’t going to do that to Cameron.  She asks why it matters and Carly says it doesn’t, unless this isn’t about Cam and more about her reaction to Oscar dumping her.  Kim comes to work to see Oscar; she tells him Drew told her he turned down a trip to Florida.  He says yeah, because he wants to control his own destination.  She decides to go talk to Joslyn; she asks Carly if she can, but Carly says she doesn’t want to let her.  She says she doesn’t need this to be any harder on Jos; Joslyn opens up to Cam for the first time about her father, Jax and he asks why she has never talked about him before.  She says, it makes her miss him; she just tries to keep her “two lives separate.”  Cam impresses her with his knowledge of astrology, as he starts with Polaris, the North Star.  He explains that the other stars all seem to turn around it, but it won’t move.  Jos gives Cameron a keychain with his zodiac sign on it; he says it will inspire him not to lose his keys anymore.  He says something snarky and she tries to take it back from him; they playfully, tussle and burst through the door.  Joslyn stops when she sees Kim; she says hi.

This mysterious girl at Charlie’s, who gave Oscar a place to live, talks to Kristina about living her life free and out in the open; Kristina tells her it was really nice of her to do that for Oscar.  Oscar gets a headache; he sits down.  Julian panics and texts Kim; she tells Carly she has to go.  The girl offers to help; Julian asks if she’s a doctor.  She says, “no, but that doesn’t mean I can’t help.”  She rubs her hands and puts them on each side of Oscar’s head; she gently rubs his temples and tells him to breathe slow and deep.  After a few minutes, his headache subsides; he asks how she did that and she tells him she didn’t… she says, “you did” and smiles.  Kim comes in to see he is okay; he hops up and goes back to work.  She asks if, since she knows who they are now, Kristina would like to come meet her people.  She tells her she could even stay there with them too if she wants too; Kristina says she couldn’t pay… the girl told her if she can carry the trash out, she qualifies.  She gives her a book called “Every Day is a New Dawn.”

Wednesday, November 7, 2018 (S56E151): He Isn’t My Child

Spencer is at the hospital with his grandma Laura and aunt Lulu; he sits down in the hallway to look up the penalties for meddling in an election and if they apply to minors on his tablet.  Brad confides in Britt; he tells her the entire story, how Nelle swapped her baby for his dead, newly-adopted one, and says ever since he stole his child, he sees Michael everywhere.  He says he gets physically sick to his stomach every time Michael looks at “Wiley.”  She tells himhe has a right to be happy, and convinces him that he is doing the right thing because Wiley is much safer living with him and Lucas than he would be with Michael and Sonny.  Brad thanks her and leaves; he runs into Spencer in the hallway and brings him in to see Britt.  See is so happy; he runs and hugs her and they talk.  Brad leaves.

Michael talks to his grandmother; he tells her he is actually starting to make peace with Jonah’s death.  He tells her about the support group and offers to go to the hospital with her because he wants to see when the next meeting is.  When they get there they run into “Kevin” and Laura tells him that she wants him to move his stuff out of her house as soon as possible, since he doesn’t want to be there anymore.  Lulu convinces her that she is strong enough to go on with her campaign despite her husband’s emotional bomb drop.

Curtis, Sam and Jason tell Carly that they are going infiltrate Ferncliff and find out what is going on with that patient in the room next to hers.  She begs them not to risk it, saying she wouldn’t want Jason going to prison again because of her curiosity, but they convince her that it is worth investigating.  Curtis sneaks in behind two security guards’ backs, and into a room where an orderly leaves a tray of medication; as he is looking at the medicine, the new head nurse comes in and asks what he is doing.  He puts on a good act, threatening to have the facility shut down if they can’t prove to him that they have fixed their security issues, which they obviously have not.

Tuesday, November 6, 2018 (S56E150): Me and a Few Hundred Thousand Friends

Spencer tells his grandma he was so impressed with democracy in action, he almost feels like he voted himself; he pulls out a flashdrive and smiles as he says “me and a few hundred thousand friends of mine.”  Curtis goes in to vote and the machine rejects his ballot; it spits it out with happy faces pasted all over it.  He wonders what is wrong; a lady shows him a whole stack of other ballots that came out the same way.  Ned shows up to visit Laura; Spencer is not nice to him.  Curtis stops by to tell Jordan “the chads, they are a hangin’…”  Ned gets a call from Jordan asking him and Laura to come down to the station to discuss possible election tampering; Spencer immediately looks guilty.  Lucas and Brad are eating at Charlie’s; Michael sits down to join them and holds Wiley.  Brad gets a call and says he has to go to work; he runs out the door.  Lucas tells Michael that Brad acts like he is supposed to be Wiley’s father.  Brad goes to see Julian and tells him he is leaving town; he says he needs to go to a Wellness Center or something.  Julian tells him to stay home with his family; Michael says he can tell Brad loves the baby and Lucas agrees.  Michael asks if Lucas has reconsidered letting Julian be part of the baby’s life.  Lucas goes to see his dad, and extends the offer to be part of HIS life again… he says they’ll have to see if he feels comfortable about being involved with the baby.

Finn gives Britt an evaluation; he says she better make it the best performance of her life.  They inject her with the common cold virus and Anna tells her to lay back and enjoy the symptoms; they are hoping to draw Obrecht out of hiding.  Brad walks in the room, asking Finn what he wants him to do now; he is thrilled when he sees Britt… she calls him her Bradley.  He says he can’t get mixed up in any “shenanigans” now that he is a father; they just want him to run a test and keep a secret.  Britt asks him to help; he says okay.  They leave; Britt asks about his life now and asks to see pics of the baby.  She asks if fatherhood has turned him from the dark side; he says he’s actually darker than ever.

Chase comes to Perk’s and sees Ms. Tate; she gives him a hard time.  She tells him she is a teacher; they talk about the case.  Charlotte sees her and runs over to say hello; she says its getting chilly and she is going to take her papers inside to grade.  Lulu sends Charlotte in for a scone; she stares at Chase.  He says they were just talking to each other; Lulu tells him “a girl as terrific as Willow isn’t going to stay on the market for long.”  Michael walks in to order a cup of coffee; he sees Ms. Tate and smiles… she smiles back.  He had no idea this was Charlotte’s teacher… Lulu introduces them.  She has to leave though when she gets word that a story is brewing; she heads to the police station.

Michael sits down; Willow thanks him for not mentioning the support group to Charlotte or her mother, saying she doesn’t share her private life with her students.  Ned holds a press conference to tell about a virus that breached the firewalls of the voting system and the election has been suspended until further notice.  Jordan says she won’t rest until she finds the party responsible and she will prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law.  Ned says, threateningly “we will get you.”  Spencer looks terrified.  Chase talks with Finn and Anna about the decapitation; he says it was a clean cut… this is the work of a professional – it’s not his first kill.

Monday, November 5, 2018 (S56E149): What’s Going On With You?

“Kevin” comes by the gallery to see Ava; he says he just heard about the news.  He says he can just imagine the “shock and awe….fullness” she must have felt.  He tells her he knows she didn’t do and she asks how; he talks about her dark sadistic sense of humor.  He says “this just isn’t your style.”  He compliments her “beauty, brains, poise and self-confidence,” saying “petty attacks can’t undermine the essence of who you are.”  She thanks him; she calls him a sensitive and intuitive man.  He steps closer, saying he would like to help her cope; she asks him to get her out of there… unless that blurs the line between therapy and friendship.  He says some lines were meant to be blurred.  She tells him she appreciates the way he sees her; she asks him about his last visit with Mary Pat.

Jason comes to see Carly; she tells him everything that’s happened.  Lulu comes over with campaign buttons, for Laura, Spencer and Kevin; Laura doesn’t tell her that Kevin won’t be going with them.  She does tell her that she doesn’t think she wants to do any more campaigning though; Spencer asks why.  Lulu tells her mom she better get back out there, because even if she won’t write her own name in, there is a whole town of folks who will.  She and Spencer convince her to go get ready for pictures; Spencer pulls out his computer when they leave the room.  He tells his grandma her she is still trending.  Spencer goes into the diner and tells Kevin what he thinks of him, calling him low.  It looks like he messes with the voting machine when they go in to vote too.

Jason comforts Carly after she tells him what has been going on; he tells her she has nothing to worry about.  She says, except that whoever killed Mary Pat is sick and twisted… and still out there.  He tells her she may have done the right thing this time by cooperating since she has nothing to hide.  She tells him when she was in Ferncliff she kept repeating “stay strong, stay focused… go home.”  She talks about the Morse code the guy next to her was tapping… and the fact that he was gone when they went to visit there.  Jordan asks Curtis to stay with her and help her figure out this case; they throw ideas back and forth and realize this is the work of someone with the need for revenge.

Sonny happens to run into Margaux sitting at a table at The Floating Rib; she says she is using the full authority of her office to prosecute, either the person who killed Mary Pat or the person who killed her father.  He tells her he knows a little something about her father and mother; he asks who told her Vincent was dead.  She says she just figured it out; she says she is certain he is the one who killed him, and it’s just a matter of time before she proves it.  He offers to stay away from her and her family if she stays away from him and his; she takes that as a veiled threat, and he makes it no-so-veiled.  He tells her, her mother is a widow “because she wanted to be.”

Friday, November 2, 2018 (S56E148): It Wasn’t By Choice

Nina wakes up in the morning at Wyndemere and reminds Valentin that she didn’t stay there by choice; he reminds her that they kissed.  She says it wasn’t a big deal; he tells her he isn’t giving up hope that she will come home.  Kiki, Griffin and Sasha are going for a run; Griffin tells Sasha if Kiki gets out in front, as she is known to do, he will hang back with her.  Kiki calls Griffin “what a gentleman” and takes off running, saying “see ya!”  Sasha gets a cramp; Griffin offers to help… he grabs her foot and begins massaging her leg; Kiki smiles.  Nina arrives on the dock from Spoon Island; Sasha says it looks like she had fun, still in her clothes from last night.  She assures them all there is nothing for her to be ashamed of, saying “nothing to see here.”  Sasha apologizes for teasing her; Nina says it’s okay.  She explains that the shuttle was shut down, and she stayed “in a guest room.”  Sasha tells Kiki and Griffin to finish the run without her; she tells Nina she kind of likes Griffin.  Nina reminds her he is Kiki’s boyfriend, but Sasha says “they aren’t serious.”  Nina asks who told her that and is upset when she says Kiki’s mother did; she tells Sasha not to listen to anything Ava Jerome says.  Sasha gets a call from a temp agency and has to go.

She shows up at Wyndemere; she tells Valentin she is staying in town a while.  She notes that Nina is happy about it, and asks if that isn’t what he wanted.  He tells her he’s just afraid that the longer she stays, the truth will come out.  She says no one is every going to find out that she isn’t really Nina’s daughter.  Carly wakes up from a nightmare; seeing Mary Pat’s face arise in the apple barrel.  Sonny holds her; she gasps for breath.   He says he wishes she would have called him last night; she says she didn’t want to wake him up… the cop brought her home.  She tells him how she went to grab for an apple and Mary Pat’s head came floating to the top.  She says she isn’t sorry she’s dead; Sonny tells her to keep that from Jordan.  Laura goes back to The Floating Rib; she can’t believe such a thing happened at her event.  Mac tells her it’s not her fault some psycho used the evening to put a murder on display; she wonders where Kevin is and if he hasn’t heard about this by now.  Jordan comes in to interview Laura; she isn’t able to tell her much.  Laura wonders who could have committed such a heinous act; “Kevin” walks in.  She is stunned when he tells her he is there to give his statement because he was there with Mary Pat the night before last; she wants him to take her home.  He tells Jordan he came by to see Mac, but he wasn’t there; that’s when he “ran into Ms Ingles” he says she was “quite upset”… because she had been fired and held one of his patients responsible – Carly Corinthos.  They ask if there was any reason for Mary Pat to be afraid of Carly; “Kevin” says Carly did make a threat to her that day they came visit Ferncliff.  He tells them Carly told him to get Mary Pat out of there before she did something she’d regret, obviously setting Carly up for this murder.  Laura stands up for Carly, noting that Mary Pat treated her horribly while she was at Ferncliff, and swears Carly didn’t threaten Mary Pat.

Jordan asks Kevin what transpired there at The Floating Rib the other evening; he says nothing much… he says he grew tired of her complaining, agrees Carly suffered terribly under the woman’s watch and says he didn’t want to engage any further and returned to GH to continue his research.  Jordan says they were in her apartment and it appears she hadn’t been home in a day or two; “Kevin” apologizes for not being of any more help.  Laura is pissed, and even more suspicious when “Kevin” tells her he has to head right back to the hospital.  Jordan tells Mac he can send his staff home; she says they’ll be out of there shortly.  Carly and Sonny walk in; Jordan starts to question, if Carly didn’t do it, maybe someone close to her did.  She looks at Sonny.  Laura follows “Kevin” and is pissed when he goes to the docks; he puts the hook he found there back, and throws the bag down just as Laura asks what he is doing.  She demands to know why he has been avoiding her, and he tells her he didn’t know how to tell her that he just doesn’t feel the same about her anymore and he thinks they should separate.  He tells her he is moving out later today; she can’t believe “just like that” – he says he is sorry and might realize this is the biggest mistake of his life one day, but tells her goodbye and walks away.  She sobs.

Scotty talks to Ava about Kiki and Griffin being together; he apologizes for “putting salt in the wound.”  Ava says the wound is healing nicely; he mocks her glee over seeing Dr. Collins now.  He can’t believe her when she tells him “the man isn’t trying to change me… he accepts me as I am.”  Scotty doesn’t see how this is helping her get over Griffin.  Ava arrives at her office to find a body sitting in a chair, with a jack-o-lantern sitting on its shoulders.  She pushes it and it falls off the chair; she gasps.  Nina arrives, ranting about her trying to manipulate her daughter, but Ava tells her it’s not a good time… she points at the body on the floor.  Nina asks “what the hell did you do?”  Ava swears she just found it; they call the police.  Ava explains exactly how she walked in and found the body; Nina says she was only there to tell Ava to stay away from her daughter.  They find blonde strands of hair in the hands of the victim; every one looks at Ava.
