02-22-2017 (Wednesday) The Drive - A Secret Discovered

Ava screams for a guard; Julian is the one who shows up at her cell.  She tells him she is only happy to see him if he is there to get her out; she begs him to tell the police the truth – that it wasn’t her he was talking to in that recording.  How much means to him… not as much as her… reminds him of all she’s done for him; he promises to get her out soon.  She asks how; he tells her he has talked to Alexis and she will handle it.  She asks how long that will be; he says Alexis will receive the instructions as soon as she doesn’t hear from him.  Ava is confused.

Jason sees Monica; tells her Sam had an appointment, but somebody must have gotten their wires crossed because it didn’t happen.  Thanks him for his contribution to save the hospital; gives him an old blanket that was his as a toddler.  Liv hears Sam say ‘reincarnation’ and is impressed; she asks if she knows these symbols.  Sam says not really; she tells Liv the story of her marriage to Jason at the Chinese restaurant, and says the owner told her the story of the dragon and the Pheonix, so she is familiar with the concept of reincarnation.

Hayden crunches the final numbers and tells Monica and Tracy that she thinks they did it; it looks like they can keep the hospital open.  Tracy reminds them that the board can still sell the hospital out from under them; Monica is surprised that they have to outbid the developers.  Tracy tells her that half of the board members are bloodsuckers, only concerned with a payday; she points out Fred Grey, whom, she is convinced made some side deals with the developers.  Hayden says that’s illegal; Tracy says it doesn’t matter, because they don’t have time to prove it.  All they have to do is convince the board members to sell to them tomorrow.

Carly calls Nelle; checking to see how things are going at the cabin.  Nelle, of course, is not receiving the message.  Michael helps Nelle out of the tub; tells her the fire will finish warming her up.  He tries to kiss her and she pulls away again; she says, “I can’t.”  Michael looks disappointed.  Sonny hears Carly on the phone and asks what that was all about; she tells him it’s a surprise.  She has to run some errands and tells him she’ll be back; Sonny calls Jason and tells him they need to talk.  Jason shows up; Sonny tells him that it turns out Julian has another sister… Jason says he knows.  He and Sam did some digging; he had an older sister, Olivia, who died years ago.  They discuss the possibility that maybe Olivia isn’t dead after all.  Michael tries to make apologies to Nelle, but then tells her he wouldn’t interfere if he felt she was at all happy with this arrangement (the one with her non-existent married ‘boyfriend’).  She insists that she is.

Carly goes to get a bottle of champagne from the Metro Court; Bobbie is in her office.  Bobbie says she wants to chat before Carly heads out of town and offers to help her go through the mail while they talk.  Carly says the mail will have to wait because she needs to get going; she says she and Sonny really deserve this trip.  Bobbie tells her that the roads have been closed because of the storm; Carly’s expression changes to concern.  She goes to see Sonny.  Jason tells Sonny that Julian killed is sister, Olivia, in 1990; Sonny determines that there’s a good chance she survived – and probably killed Morgan, Jason adds.  The more he thinks about it, the more it makes sense, he says; Carly walks in and interrupts the conversation.  She tells Sonny there is no more surprise; she tells him what it was.  He says they have everything they need right there; they can still enjoy their 'getaway' together, at home.

Nelle yells at Michael; she tells him the deck has always been stacked against her and she has decided to settle for satisfaction.  He asks her how she could possibly think that; she replies, “because I don’t deserve to be happy.”  Michael hugs her and reminds her how wonderful he thinks she is.  She says he doesn’t know the things she has done; he says she could tell him anything, he will still be there, adding that he is right about her.  They sit down, he tells her that he is arrogant, determined and has a tendency to gloat; he likes to be right and he believes he is right about her.  She tells him she thinks she is ready for a new path, now smiling.  He puts his arm around her and asks if he is on that new path of hers

Monica and Tracy, along with Hayden, delight in their potential win; Hayden goes to call Finn and is disappointed when she cant get a hold of him.  She finds out he cancelled his hotel reservation and no one knows where he is.  Ava asks Julian who it is that he is afraid of; she begs him to trust her, because they are blood.  He looks at the text and refuses to tell him anything; she gets mad and tells him he is dead to her (again).  He says she doesn’t even know how right she is.  Liv tells Sam about her ‘defifning’ moment of reincarnation, being when she became clean and sober (supposedly); Sam tries to get Liv to drop her off by the footbridge.  Liv says she can’t do that; Sam gets out and Liv follows her, stepping in front on her on the bridge after Sam drops her phone.  She tells Sam it’s time they tell each other what they know; Sam tries to walk away, but Liv pulls a gun on her.  Bobbie is on the phone, and finds out something about Nelle; exactly what she was afraid of, she says.

02-21-2017 (Tuesday) "Liv"

Michael tells Nelle that the caretaker was not exaggerating; there is no getting down the mountain.  He says he doesn’t remember the last time he’s seen a snowstorm this bad; Nelle appears nervous.  She tells Michael she has things to take care of at home; she says she’s a “planner” and if things don’t go as she has planned… Michael smiles; he tells her she needs to go with the flow.  He tells her they are going to take warm baths – the cabin has an old metal tub he fills with hot water.  He helps her step in; holding a towel in front of her, she tells him she would be going crazy without him there.  He says he owes her; she asks why – he says because of what she does for him.  She doesn’t understand.  He tells her he wouldn’t have gotten through his brother’s passing, and being strong for his family, if it hadn’t been for her.

Liv calls Sam, pretending to be from her doctor’s office; she says the doctor needs to see her.  She heads straight to the hospital even though it’s after hours.  Sam talks with Jason; she tells him that he doesn’t need to rush to the appointment.  She is sure it’s nothing.   Robin sees Sam in the parking garage and calls out to her; they talk.  Liv is hiding behind a column; she recalls a very young Robin – and a conversation had long ago.  She wonders, could she get two for the price of one?  She is holding a wrench tightly.

Olivia (Falconari) is meeting with Julian; she asks why he called her to meet him.  He says he wants to give her his Last Will & Testament.  Ned tells Dante that he asked his mother to marry him; Dante holds out his hand to welcome him to the family.  He tells Dante that she said no; Dante is confused.  Ned goes to find her; Julian excuses himself when Ned walks in.  Ned asks Olivia if the meeting has anything to do with her turning his proposal down; he apologizes for taking her by surprise.  He tells her he if he’d have really thought about it, he probably wouldn’t have proposed at all.  She is shocked and asks why not; he says the thought actually terrifies him.  He explains his family, history, his fear that he can’t be the man she needs… he says, she leaves him in the dust, which is why the prospect of marrying her terrifies him.  She asks if he is taking back his proposal; he smiles, and shakes his head.  He says his offer is still on the table and he leaves.  Olivia is stunned, left standing there.

Curtis is at the Metro Court when Jordan walks in.  She orders a double; he asks if it’s been a long day.  He tells her he is meeting someone there; Grace McMorris.  She tells him he cost her Andre, and adds, that, now, he may have cost her, her job.  She questions him about his investigation into Ava at the Gallery that night; she says if she goes down, she will make sure he goes down with her.  He tells her that he knows she still wants him; he says he knows what he’s talking about when it comes to her.  She looks defiant.

Sonny talks to Jason, in the hallway at the hospital; Jason tells him he is always around for him.  They hug; Robin asks if she can get in on that action.  They are both happy to see her.  Jason says has to get; he is meeting Sam for an impromptu appointment.  Robin says she just saw her in the parking garage.  When they get to the office, the doctor is not there; they are confused… Jason has other things to do.  Sam returns to the car; it won’t start now.  Liv pops out of nowhere and asks Sam if she’s having car trouble.  Robin tells Sonny that her mom is sick.  She asks Sonny how he’s doing; she mentions Ava’s arrest.  He says she has no problem hurting people; Robin says it doesn’t surprise her – her sister, Olivia, was the same way.  Sonny looks confused.  He inquires about this other sister; Robin tells him she had a lot of enemies and died years ago.  Liv insists on giving Sam a ride; as they drive through the snow, Liv talks about how much she loves the snow, making everything look clean and perfect.  She says she wishes Port Charles would get snowed in; Sam looks at her with confusion.  She starts talking about family; says she grew up in a big family… loving and tight knit.  But then, she says, it was all for show; in all actuality, she says, you couldn’t trust any one of them.  Julian sees Jason in the hospital; says he must be proud of himself, setting up that sting operation.  He tells Jason, if anything happens to anyone in his family, Sam, Danny, whoever, Jason is as much to blame as him now.  Jason asks what he means and he just says he prays to God he doesn’t find out.  Liv goes on to tell Sam that after a long estrangement, she worked really hard to start over, saying, “restoration, re-invention…” Sam mumbles reincarnation, as an ornament hanging from the rearview mirror catches her eye; it has the Chinese symbols on it from the model boat in the pawnshop.

Carly calls Nelle; checking to see how things are going at the cabin.  Nelle, of course, is not receiving the message.  Michael helps Nelle out of the tub; tells her the fire will finish warming her hut.

02-20-2017 (Monday) The Diagnosis

Standing alone in an elevator, Nelle listens to her secret recording of Sonny accepting responsibility for their “sleeping together.”  She copies it onto a hard drive and puts the drive in an envelope, marked to Carly Corinthos.  Carly tells Sonny she has plans for tomorrow night; Jason says he has glad to see them reconnecting.  Carly asks Nelle for her help sprucing up the cabin for a weekend get-away she is planning with Sonny; Nelle is only too glad to help.  Sonny and Jason discuss his indiscretion, while Carly talks to Nelle across the room; he tells Jason that he gets the feeling that Nelle wants Carly to find out what happened.  Nelle runs into Michael, who invites her to lunch, but then offers to take her up to the cabin instead; she accepts his offer, glancing at the mail rack, containing the envelope for Carly.  They get to the cabin, traveling through an unexpected snow storm; the property manager lets them in and mistakes them for “lovebirds.”  Nelle says that was awkward.  They finish getting the cabin ready and turn to leave; the manager comes back and tells them that the roads have just been closed.  They aren’t going anywhere.

Sam comes to see Alexis; she says she’s checking on her to see how she was since Kristina blew up on her, then confesses that’s not the only reason she’s there.  She brings up Ava’s recent arrest, and says she actually thinks she is innocent of the charges.  She then notices the flowers from Julian and inquires about them; Sam is upset that she even accepted the flowers and begs her not to “do this again.”  Alexis tells Sam about the letter Julian said he wrote, and the key he gave her to get it; she says it’s probably just more lies, and she’s just going to throw the key away.  Sam asks, “what if it isn’t?”

Julian goes to see his sister, Liv… they discuss the board meeting that has been scheduled to consider her offer; he breaks out a bottle of Champagne.  She tells him that’s a little presumptuous; he says the board members are in their favor, except for Michael, Laura and Tracy, so he’s pretty sure they lose.  She reminds him that he is not financially benefiting; he says he will be through with her – and that is worth celebrating.  She asks what if she were to kill him after the sale goes through; he says, he will still be through with her.  He tells her to either raise a glass with him right now, or kill him right now.  She says she doesn’t want to waste the bottle; he pours a vial of ? in her cup when she turns away.  They toast, to GH.  She stumbles and knocks Julian’s cup out of his hands; she offers him hers.  He says it was a stupid idea; she slaps him and yells, she knows he was trying to poison her.  She holds a gun up and makes him empty his pockets; he hands her the vial.  She smells it; Oleander, she says.  She tells him he can live until after the hospital purchase and tells him to get out of there before she changes her mind.

Hayden runs numbers for Tracy, and tells her that her offer is not as high as the property investor’s offer.  Ned steps forward and offers a letter from his ex-wife, Lois, offering to buy out L&B Records; he says his life is in Port Charles now and buying the hospital is more important.  Hayden says they still have to convince the board that he is the right buyer for the hospital.  Tracy asks Ned when his permanent relocation happened; he tells her it’s been in the works for a while.  He then asks her for his grandmother’s old wedding ring; he says he is asking Olivia to marry him tonight.  Tracy makes her reservations about Olivia known, through a series of insults, calling her overbearing and uncoothe; he says he says those qualities as caring and spirited.  Ned tells Tracy if she doesn’t like Olivia, that’s just too bad, because he loves her and plans on marrying her, with or without Tracy’s blessing.  Tracy apologizes; she tells him that she was just being selfish and wants to keep him close, under the same roof.  She doesn’t want him to get his own home; he tells her that he and Olivia and Leo will stay in the house, at least for now.  She gives him her blessing to ask Olivia to marry him, after all.  When Olivia arrives to talk to Ned, he is staring at the ring; he drops to one knee and asks her to marry him – she tells him, half in shock, that she “can’t marry him.”  He asks what “can’t…” means; she turns and runs out of the house.

Finn pops another pill; and looks at a newspaper headline about Sonny not being guilty of killing his son.  Griffin approaches, asking about Anna’s biopsy; he says he hopes it’s not as bad as they’ve been fearing.  Anna calls out for a nurse; an intern tells her that none are available.  She asks him to find her a doctor; Robin appears in the doorway, asking if she will do.  Anna smiles.  Soon, she realizes though that something must be seriously wrong if Griffin called Robin to come see her; the intern finds Griffin in the hallway and hands him the results from Anna’s biopsy.  He looks at them and says, “no.” Griffin goes to talk to Finn; they come in to tell Anna she has “PV,” a type of cancer.  Anna asks how a blood clot can be associated with cancer; they said PV was formerly known just as a blood disorder, but it is actually a form of blood cancer – the blood clot was a symptom.  They explain, that’s what was causing the migraines; a thickening of the blood. They tell her all they can do is treat the symptoms of this cancer; there is no cure for this disease.  She is devastated; Robin tells her they can deal with a chronic illness.  Anna, remembering that her daughter lives with HIV, apologizes for being insensitive; Robin tells her it’s fine and they will get through this.  She offers to stay and help take care of her mother for the time being; Anna hugs her.

Hayden tells Finn that a pharmaceutical company is interested in buying the cure from him; he could donate part of the proceeds to the purchase of the hospital.  Tracy says he can take the company jet; he decides to take her up on that offer.

02-17-2017 (Friday) WHAT'S WRONG WITH ANNA?

Julian meets with Liv at the roadhouse; he tells her he will get her General Hospital, unless she continues to hurt the people he loves.  Sam and Jason talk about Ava being in custody right now; Jason says it’s tempting just to let her take the blame, but they know the person responsible is still out there.  Liz send Franco a text message, wishing him luck at work; Franco walks in the door of his apartment and finds Kiki and Dillon on the couch, naked.  He tells Kiki he got fired.  He tells her he is afraid to tell Elizabeth, but Kiki tells him he owes it to her to be honest about everything.

Franco goes back and tells Liz he was fired; she is completely understanding.  They hold each other and he says at least they will have more time to spend together now; she agrees, laughing.  Alexis gets a delivery of flowers; they look just like the bouquet she carried for their wedding.  She has a flashback; Julian shows up at the door.  He asks if they can talk; she lets him in.  He begins to apologize for everything, and then hands her a key; he says there is a letter in the box that key belongs to.  He tells her that he doesn’t want her to read it, until tomorrow.  She asks him what is going on; it sounds like he is saying goodbye.

Olivia and Ned return from their Valentine date, very happy; he invites her to stay the night, but she doesn’t feel comfortable in the Quartermaine mansion.  He pleads with her to stay with him, but Tracy walks in the room and tells her to leave; she is calling a family meeting.  Ned refuses to send Olivia away; he tells his mom that he wants her to stay… he considers her family now.  Once everyone shows up, Tracy tells them that she thinks ELQ should buy the hospital – Michael says they do have the numbers; the purchase is do-able.  But then the possibility is brought up that if the hospital continues losing money, it could take under ELQ; Olivia suggests that the Quartermaine family, themselves, buy the hospital.  They begin to ‘crunch numbers.’   Dillon calls Kiki and tells her that he is significantly poorer than when he left her earlier; he congratulates Ned on standing up to their mother for Olivia.

Nina steps in the door of Anna’s hospital room, to see Valentin sitting by her bedside, holding her hand.  She steps back out of the door, quietly, looking very confused.  Anna wakes up, and asks Valentin what he is doing there; he says he was just worried about her.  She pulls her hand away and tells him to leave the room.  He finds Nina in the waiting area; she immediately confronts him about holding Anna’s hand.  He sweet talks her and they go back to the hotel room and make love.  Griffin comes in with Anna’s lab results; he tells her that it appears she has  blood clot and she needs to stay the night for more testing.  She has a feeling he is not telling her everything.

Outside of her room, Finn and Griffin discuss Anna’s condition; Griffin tells Finn that Anna is so depressed right now, he thinks they did the right thing by not telling her that they believe she has cancer.

02-16-2017 (Thursday)

Hayden finds Finn sleeping on an examination bed; he wakes with a start and asks if there is an emergency.  She tells him to tell her; she also tells him that Griffin suggested she talk to him about what’s going on with him.  He claims he is just tired because he has worked 12 hours without nursing assistants; she can tell he is still not telling her something… she asks him to be honest with her now.  He manages to get out of telling her that he is still sick; but Griffin is still suspicious.  As Finn tries to care for Anna, he breaks out in a sweat and drops a syringe; Griffin demands he tell him what is going on.  Finn admits to Griffin that he is still sick.

Franco tells Liz he feels 99.9% better; he tells her he wants to go to dinner at Kelly’s.  She says she can’t; Apiphany and Felix walk in, saying ‘knock, knock’ – they are there for a strategy meeting.  They decide Franco would be the perfect ‘mole’ and ask him if he would mind going to work and questioning people to find out if the hospital is in chaos without them, or getting ready to fire them all.  He willingly does it.  Laura brings a bedpan and rubber gloves to Tracy, and tells her that she needs to step up; they are in dire need of help with the nurses gone.  Tracy says the only thing she’s stepping up to is the bar, and walks off.

Laura follows Tracy and sits down at the table; she tells Tracy exactly how she feels about her plan to lay off the nurses.  She says that may save a ‘few’ dollars, but it is going to kill the hospital – the nurses are the heart and soul, she says.  She pleads with Tracy to make the board change their mind.  Tracy says she almost always believes that the end justifies the means; she agrees with Laura that the subject of General Hospital’s history is extremely sentimental.  She tells Laura that she has gotten her thinking maybe there is another solution.  Franco finds Hayden and begins to inquire about the layoffs; he is taken back when her response is to tell him that Art Therapy is one of the “non-essential” programs that is going to have to be cut and she fires him.

Nathan shows up at the room, where Nina is waiting for Valentin; she is disappointed it’s not her husband.  Valentin carries Anna into the hospital emergency room and lays her on a table; Griffin sees him and asks what he has done to Anna.  Valentin sits by Anna’s bed and whispers something in Latin; an incantation to heal, he says.  He kisses her hand.  Finn comes back with the lab results from Anna’s blood work; Griffin asks what he found.  Finn says, “it’s not good.”

02-14-2017 (Tuesday)

Sonny stuffs the bra in his pants pocket when Carly comes out; she says there are still so many questions about Morgan’s death, she needs to go think.  He says he understands.  She says she just wants to be with her kids right now, but they have to promise to lean on each other.  He says that sounds like a deal.

The hospital is in chaos; the entire nursing staff has called in sick – it’s a “sick-out” – the doctor’s are at a loss, as they can’t seem to find anything they need.  Franco reassures Elizabeth that she is still doing her job, since she is taking care of him; Griffin stops by to talk to Liz and is somewhat surprised, but not really, to see Franco there, looking quite at home.  Elizabeth apologizes to Griffin, telling him she hates doing this; he tells her things are chaotic at the hospital.  She hopes to be back to work in just a couple of days; he says he understands. He came to bring Franco some antibiotics; he wishes her, and the other nurses luck and leaves.  Franco acts a little jealous and Liz asks if they really doing this again.  She asks him why he doesn’t have more confidence him himself and reassures him that she believes in him.

Liv lets Julian know that Rudg reached out to a man named Buz; she says  he is “no random indignant.”  Buz confirm that the voice heard that night, he believes, is Ana’s voice.  He then gets nervous that this woman is going to kill him; Jordan promises him protections if needs it.  Nurse Amy comes back to the hospital and tells Hayden she wants her job back; she says she just can’t sit out, knowing all these others nurses have called in sick.  She wants to help; oh, and she wants it put in writing that she gets her job back, forever.  Hayden says, “you’re hired.”

Finn is struggling in the hallway again; he doesn’t look well.  He pushes something away from the wall and finds the half-pill he dropped on the floor the other day; he takes it.  Yep, he looks like a junkie.   Michael stresses over the hospital layoffs and tells Nelle that deep down he knows what he is doing is right, but it’s going to hurt a lot of people; she tells him she understands and she knows he is making the best decision he can.  He thanks her and leaves; he goes to the hospital, where he meets his mother.

Sonny goes to see Nelle; he lets her know that he isn’t happy about her “present,” which she left on his bed.  He tells her she is a problem for him, and he is going to take care of the problem.  He tells her to take the job in Atlanda and leaves.  Nelle listens to her recording again.

02-13-2017 (Monday) One Sister, Two Sisters...

Lulu approaches Valentin, at the Metro Court, and tells him she “comes in peace.”  Says there’s no need for lawyers; she’s just looking for Nina.  She apologizes to both Nina and Valentine for her actions, but he tells her he does not forgive her, and he rejects her apology, chewing her out for approaching Charlotte at Crimson.  Lulu calls him a sanctimonious hypocrite; Valentin says he will see her in court.  He and Nina leave.  At the hospital, "Liv" talks to Rudge; Anna, still standing up against an elevator wall, hears a familiar voice and turns toward her.  Anna drops her pill bottle and calls out, “excuse me.”  Liv freezes for a moment; a flashback to a young, slightly evil-Anna, standing atop an elevator shaft(?) mocking a frightened, much younger, Liv, telling her that she is doing this “for revenge.”

Anna is obviously not well; she can’t seem to see very well, I guess, from her migraine headache.  Liv grabs a scalpel off of a nearby tray.  A man enters the room, and calls out to Anna; the pills and the scalpel are on the floor.  Liv hides behind the corner of the wall; Anna recognizes this man.  He tells her he is from the WSB and knew her AND Valentin; she apologizes for not clearly remembering him and thanks him for his help, as he gets her pills for her and helps her to her feet.  He says he is there to help, and tells her to “keep [her] distance” from Valentin; he says there is much more than unrequited love to their story.  He tells her the file was completely “redacted” but explains that the truth is that Valentin disappeared from the WSB and was put on the “kill” list… by Anna.

Felicia brings a new batch of ‘swatches’ to Nelle, who is sitting at a table in the Metro Court; Felicia says, she has narrowed them down.  She describes her “view” of Nelle, in colors, exactly as that bra was… silver and gray, black and white, with just a little lacy trim; fancy but refined, soft but strong, etc., etc.  While away from the table, Nelle runs into Michael… he asks what she and Felicia are discussing; she tells him she is having her room made over.  Michael says he didn’t know that Felicia did that; must be a new thing.  Nelle explains that Felicia did say she was trying build up her portfolio and offered to do her room for free; she then apologizes to Michael, saying she knows Felicia and his grandmother are not on the best of terms.  Michael shakes his head in confusion; he tells her that Bobbie and Felicia are actually the best of friends.  He fills her in on the family history, B.J.’s car accident saving Felicia’s daughter and all; Nelle realizes that Felicia would do just about anything for her friend, Bobbie.  She goes back to the table and tells Felicia to go forward with her ideas; her boyfriend, she says, may not be so unavailable much longer and he might just move right in.

Sonny and Carly celebrate his freedom, at home… they begin by dancing, and kissing; the reminisce about Morgan, and Carly wonders if being happy means moving on – accepting that he’s gone and going forward.  They laugh about his favorite movie being “Happy Feet” and realize that he would want them to be happy.  They go upstairs and a beautiful love scene plays out to nice, soft, romantic music; then they get dressed again.  They begin talking about where Sonny had gone earlier; he admits that he went to kill Ava.  He describes how Jason talked him out of it, and says he is glad he came back home when he did; Carly realizes that means Sonny is fairly certain it was Ava who killed Morgan.  She jumps up and says she is going to kill her, herself; Sonny stops her.  He tells her he won’t let her throw her life away; they can’t do anything to Ava, he says, until they know “for sure.”  He calms her down and she goes to splash some water on her face; Sonny finds the bra.

Jordan informs Julian that the charges against Sonny have been dropped; Julian is questioned thoroughly by Jordan about what time he left yesterday morning; he has a flashback.  She tells him she knows about the “Ko-Shing Remedy Shop” and plays him the recording, then shows him the picture of him talking to the blonde-haired woman (who’s hair is so-obviously shorter than Ava’s).  He doesn’t say anything.  Jordan tells him they are building a case against Ava, and he can either help them, or they can charge him with conspiracy.  Dante shows Ava the flash drive he has with the recording of Julian mentioning his “sister” and plays it for her.  Ava laughs and says she doesn’t know who that is, but it AIN’T her; Dante questions her about her goings about this morning and then leaves to check some things out.  He comes back and tells her that her story checks out, EXCEPT for the fact that she can’t truly account for her whereabouts between 10:30 and 11:30; she says she ran home to get some contracts at that time… which overlaps with the time that recording was made.  Jordan tells Julian he can leave, for now; Ava sees him from the interrogation room and tries to get him to vouch for her, but he just wishes her luck and walks out.

Julian goes to Liv’s apartment; she is upset that he showed up there.  He tells her about the recording and the photo; she slaps him and calls him stupid.  He tells her that it’s just the back of her head and they think that it’s Ava.  Back at the station, Ava consents to do a voice line-up; Buz thinks he might recognize her voice.

02-10-2017 (Friday) Charges Dropped

The nurses all meet at The Floating Rib.  Elizabeth calls Felix to tell him that they need his voice of reason there; The nurses agree that Monica will have their backs, but they are not so sure about Tracy. Hayden practices firing people, with Tracy’s encouragement; she does her best to develop a speech about the financial crises the hospital is experiencing.  Anna walks in and tells Felix that she really needs his help.  She asks him to fill a prescription for her; she says she got to the pharmacy too late.  Felix asks if she needs to talk to someone; she thinks she might like to.  Hayden says that they are taking all the nurses good work and throwing it down the drain; Finn shows up with food.  Hayden thanks him and says that will give her all the energy she needs to fire one-third of General Hospital’s nurses.  Finn tells her she is not in this alone; he does his best to reassure her that everything will be okay.  He says he’s given a lot of bad news to a lot of people in his years as a doctor; he offers to help walk her through this.  Apiphany suggests that the nurses go on strike to show the board what a hospital without nurses would look like; Elizabeth looks terrified.  Felix walks in and asks what he missed.  He suggests that they contact the board and let know that they want to work things out; Apiphany agrees that is a reasonable idea.  Bobbie offers to run the idea up the chain; Felix suggests they let Elizabeth talk to her sister about this.  Elizabeth gets there to hear Hayden talking with Finn; Hayden says she hopes Elizabeth understands.

Jordan is somehow shocked that Andre wants to break up with her.  He thanks her for being honest with him and begs her to do the same for herself; he tells her to admit that he is not the one he wants.  Jordan gets a phone call; she turns around to find Andre gone.  He goes to the hospital and ends up talking with Anna; he apologies for not being able to do more than listen to her, but explains that he is going through some personal things himself.  She asks him if she can help; he says no and wishes her the best as he leaves.

Alexis talks with Liv; she assures her if she gets into trouble, she will call her.  Sam comes back; Alexis introduces her to Liv, who says they were just talking about her.  Liv insists that Sam stay and talk with them a while; Sam asks about her family… the scene flashes to a very young Anna, holding a gun on a very young Olivia.  Liv tells Sam that there were forces that conspired to keep her and her true love apart; so, no family.  Liv asks Sam for the name of her OB, claiming to have a friend who is ‘expecting to be expecting’ and Sam freely offers her OB’s name; Liv excuses herself, saying she didn’t realize how late it had gotten.  Alexis asks Sam how she liked her; she has a feeling that Sam doesn’t.  Sam denies having an opinion one way or another; she asks if her mom wants her to like the lady because Julian doesn’t.  Alexis admits maybe so.

Jason tells Sonny that he is not sure it was Ava, Julian was talking to, on that recording; Ava asks what recording they are talking about.  Jason tells Sonny there are too many things that don’t make sense; they don’t fit.  He begs Sonny not to pull that trigger, saying he will be blowing the rest of his family away.  He tells him his kids have already lost their brother; they shouldn’t have to lose their father.  Sonny clicks the safety off; as Carly continues to plead with Dante, he gets a call.  He tells her it’s a police emergency and has to go.  Jason tells Sonny that Dante is on his way there; he tells him he needs to do the right thing.  Dante walks in; Jason is just standing there, talking to Ava.  Dante says the silent alarm was triggered; he’s wondering what’s going on here.  Ava stands up and tells Dante everything; she says Sonny was there, had a gun pointed at her, says Jason wiped it clean and Sonny ran out the back just moments ago.  Jason laughs; Dante asks what he is doing there.  Jason says he is there because he has evidence that Ava was involved in Morgan’s murder; Ava is stunned.  Dante tells Ava she needs to come down to the station with him to discuss this further.

Jordan shows up at Sonny’s, saying she needs to see Sonny.  Carly tells her that she can’t; she says Sonny had been drinking all day and is upstairs sleeping it off.  Jordan tells her to wake him up and get him some asprin; Sonny appears behind Carly asking what’s up.  Jordan asks if she can come in and talk with him; she tells him that Buz has cleared him, the trial is off and she is dropping the charges.  He asks how he gets this ankle monitor off, as he lifts his pant leg to show it to her; she says they have already deactivated it and he can come by the station tomorrow to have it removed.  She assures them both that she is going to do everything she can to see that the person responsible for their son’s murder pays.  After Jordan leaves, Carly begin to scream at Sonny, asking what the hell he has done; he denies having done anything, without explaining anything.  He thanks her for covering for him and tells her that he did not take any revenge tonight because he loves her and wanted to come home; he asks her if that is enough.  She says yes, begins to cry and hugs him.

Olivia Jerome shows up at the hospital and asks Dr. Finn where obstetrics is, confirming that’s where she can find Dr. Kelly Lee.  Anna leans up against the elevator wall in the background; she doesn't look well.

02-09-2017 (Thursday) Tick, Tock

Andre asks Hayden if what he has heard is true; she says it’s the only way to save the hospital, laying people off.  He tells her that she is welcome to come and see him if she needs to talk, unless he is on the list to be laid off.  Jordan calls Curtis to her office to tell him that Buz came back to Port Charles; she thanks him for writing the note that convinced him to return.  She apologizes for the way she has recently treated him, telling him that on some level, he is right; she doesn’t want him working with her because of her feelings for him.  He laughs at the thought that she might want to be ‘friends’ but she insists that is what she wants.  He tells her he has no interest in being her friend, he cannot respect her boundaries and they are done.  She asks him to wait as he walks out the door; Andre is standing there.  He says he thinks they need to talk about Curtis; Jordan concedes.  She says she has to tell him what happened in Baltimore.  She only admits to kissing Curtis, without going into further detail.  She says she has told Curtis that they can’t be together because she is with him; Andre says he doesn’t think she is with him.  He tells her that he thinks they need to break up, saying this isn’t healthy for either of them.

Alexis is on the phone.  She thanks “Liv” for listening to her go on and on; then asks if she really has to do that ‘amends’ thing with the girls because she isn’t looking forward to it.  Sam comes to see her mom; Alexis can tell that something is wrong.  She tells her mom about the stress test and then asks if she is ready for tonight; Alexis says no but that it helps to have her there. Molly and Kristina walk in the door, popping the top on a bottle of sparkling cider.  They carry on about the great things she is going to do; they tell her the nurses at GH might need her help.  She stops them and tells them that she is not ready to get her license back; she says she needs time to recover, admitting to them that she is an alcoholic.  They look stunned.  Krisina asks how she didn’t see it when she was living there; Alexis says she didn’t want her to see it.  They try to blame Julian; Alexis says this is not Julian’s fault.  She explains why she started drinking and how it happened.  She makes her apologies and says that she hopes they can all forgive her; Sam tells her mother that she forgives her.  Kristina does not forgive her mother and says that she is not going to; she screams at her mother about the way she treated her over Parker, about running Parker out of her life, and about being a such a self-righteous hypocrite.  Molly hugs her mother and tells her that she forgives her; Alexis stands up and apologies again to Kristina, saying she hopes one day that she can make it up to her.  Kristina leaves in a fit of anger; Molly goes after her.  Sam hugs her mother and tells her to call her sponsor, reminding her that she is there for her too; she says to let her know if she needs her and leaves.  The girls go to the pub to talk; they laugh about the baby as it moves, looking like an alien.  Julian walks in, but immediately steps back out of the door when he sees the girls.

Jason meets Julian at the hospital; he tells him to make it fast, saying he only agreed to meet him because he was already here.  Julian says he hopes he doesn’t have to do anything as drastic as poisoning his coffee again to make him listen to him; Jason says no, he will leave the dirty details about the bomb-planting to him and his sister.  Julian looks confused; he asks what makes Jason think Ava is still part of the Jerome organization, insisting that she’s not.  Olivia Jerome walks off the elevator, past Julian and Jason; Julian says he has to go to a therapy appointment.  He asks Liv what she is doing there; she says she is keeping an eye on him because she doesn’t trust him.

Carly comes to see Sonny and finds Dante standing there, holding the ankle bracelet.  Ava asks Sonny what he is doing out and about; he tells her the cops can’t help her now after what she did to Morgan.  She asks what he is talking about; he says he knows what she did.  She recalls switching out Morgan’s medication.  She starts to apologize, saying she didn’t know it would go that far; he asks what she thought would happen after planting the bomb.  She turns, obviously confused, and says she wasn’t talking about the bomb; Sonny asks what she is talking about then.  She simply says he has spent too much time alone and his imagination is running wild; she says she wouldn’t do anything to hurt her brother.  He insists that he heard Julian on tape crying about being tired of being afraid of his sister; she swears she doesn’t know what he’s talking about.

Hayden meets Curtis at the pub; she tells him about her frustrations with the GH budget, and he tells her about his woes over being put in the ‘friend zone’ by someone he doesn’t want to be there with.  She asks about this girl; he says they made out and it was hot… he knows she is interested – but, he explains, she has a boyfriend and has this idea of a life where everything is tidy and uncomplicated.  Hayden says some people like boring and uncomplicated; he explains that she’s made a mistake before so she’s just playing it safe.  Hayden asks if there isn’t any hope; he says only if she dumps the chump and realizes that she wants him.  They laugh about having a genuine friendship; Hayden suggests now that he’s walked away, this woman might break up with her boyfriend.  He tells Hayden this woman slapped him and then turns around and wants to be friends with him.  Why would he want that, he asks; she suggests he doesn’t want a woman who’s simple.

Jason shows up at Sonny’s only to find out Sonny is missing; he goes to look for him – Dante says he can’t let him go, but Carly begs Dante to let him go.  She asks him if he really wants to go after his father again, if he wants to arrest him again… or if he just wants this to be over.  He says this could cost him his badge, so he hopes that Carly is hiring at the hotel; she tells him, as his son, the kindest thing he can do is let this go.  Dante argues that he believes in the law… flash to Ava’s gallery, where Ava is pleading for her life as Sonny holds her own gun on her; he tells her he wanted to kill her before because of what she did to Connie, but she was pregnant, he felt sorry for her.  He tells her if she wants to play with the big boys and act like a mobster, the first rule she needs to learn is that you pay for what you do.  Jason walks in and tells Sonny to put the gun down.  Jason warns Sonny if he does this, he will lose everything.  Carly and Dante are still arguing about whether he should go after him or not; she tells him that if she knew who killed their son, she would probably want to kill them herself.  She assures Dante that Sonny won’t kill Ava though, because he knows if he does anything violent she will leave him for good.  Jason begs Sonny to hand him the gun and go home to his wife.

02-08-2017 (Wednesday) Desperate Measures

Laura has a nightmare; Kevin wakes her.  She describes her dream… it’s the scene at Cassadine Island, in the room where Nikolas was murdered.  It starts as she imagined, Valentin with the gun pointed at Nikolas, but then it changes and Valentin gets shot and falls out the window… she shoots Valentin, killing him before he can kill her son.  She admits that she felt some elation in her dream about killing Valentin, and asks Kevin if he is creeped out; he says not in the least.

Anna is on the phone with Robert, complaining about being stonewalled by the WSB; Griffin approaches her as she hangs up … she invites him to sit down and they talk about her dilemma.  She tells him that the WSB has restricted her access to Valentin’s files, saying they don’t exist.  He asks what she’s going to do and if she’s okay; she says she has a migraine; it’s nothing to worry about.  He asks if she has a question with headaches; she says only when she is angry, claiming it’s stress-related.  She says she is just frustrated because the secret about Valentin is eluding her.  She wonders if she had led Valentin on back in the day; she grabs her head again and takes a drink of water.  Griffin is concerned.

Maxie calls Lulu and has her come to Crimson; she tells her to be quiet and opens the door to show her that Charlotte is there.  She explains why; she says this is the perfect opportunity for Lulu to bond with her daughter.  Lulu tells Maxie she can’t; she says Alexis just told her to stay away from Charlotte – Maxie insists she just needs to become friends with Charlotte.  She thinks it’s the best way to fix things with her daughter.  Lulu goes in and asks Charlotte if maybe she could color with her a while; she admires one of Charlotte’s drawings and Charlotte flips out because she didn’t ask to touch it first.  She starts screaming at Lulu again; Nina happens to come back sooner than Maxie had thought she would and hears the screaming.  She asks what Lulu is doing there; Charlotte runs to Nina and hugs her waist.  Charlotte yells at Lulu again and Nina tells her she shouldn’t talk to people that way; Nina asks Lulu just to leave, and Lulu does.  Nina tells Charlotte that it’s okay to stick up for yourself and even yell a little bit, but the most important thing is not to be mean or nasty when you do it.  Nina then tells Maxie that she is disappointed in her; she apologizes and begs Nina not to take it out on Lulu by telling Valentin about this.  She sits down and says she’ll get back to work; Nina tells Maxie, she is fired.

Dante sits down to talk to Jordan about the case regarding his brother’s death; he tells her he has no new information and there is no physical evidence tying Sonny to the explosion.  He asks her if this is a last minute attempt to blame his father; she says it is actually the opposite.  She tells him about the information she got from Buz, then tells him that the man is missing now; she fears the DA won’t accept her statement alone.  Dante asks her what else happened in Baltimore; Jordan’s mind flashes to her and Curtis on the bed about to make love.  Lulu meets her mom for lunch and tells her what happened with Charlotte at Crimson; she frets that this is going to make things so much worse.  She says Valentin is going to get custody and she will never see Charlotte again; Laura tells her that is not true.  She tells her daughter to leave things up to her and not to worry about it anymore.

Sam and Jason meet up at the hospital for a prenatal appointment; he is late.  He tells her that he and Curtis found something that doesn’t quite add up.  He fills her in; she asks how Sonny took the news.  He admits that he didn’t tell him everything yet.  The doctor comes in a interrupts them; she tells them there is some discord in the baby’s heartbeat.  She says the heartbeat should have increased during the stress test and it didn’t; she just wants to retest again in a few weeks.  She says the baby may have just been sleeping.

After the appointment, Sam asks Jason who the investigation is pointing to and when he tells her ‘Ava,’ she says that makes no sense.  He agrees, but says it also makes no sense that it isn’t her because of Julian's own words.  Curtis goes to introduce himself to Ava; she asks why he wanted to meet her.  He says he loves art, admitting he might be rougher around the edges than her typical client; she says art is for everyone.  He then admits that he has worked for her brother before; she realizes he was the hired P.I.  She tells him to drop the act now and tell her what this is really about; he asks what he has to do to convince her that he is just there for the art.  He mentions a specific painter and impresses Ava; she apologizes to him, for doubting him.  She then divulges that she has been there working all day with her assistant.  He tries to leave then, but she presses the purchase he claimed to want to make; however, his card is declined.  She suggests a bank transfer; he gets a phone call and says he has to go.  She says to herself that she hates a man who gets her hopes up; she now wonders what it is he was really after.

Sonny’s guy brings a flash drive with the recordings of the surveillance; he questions if Jason didn’t fill him in on everything.  Sonny says he believes he left a few things out.  As they go through the video footage, Sonny catches a glimpse of the blonde-haired woman; the guy gives Sonny the headphones to listen to the audio, even though Jason said the music covered up the voices.  Sonny hears Julian say that he was tired of living in fear of his own sister; Sonny says he has to go check this out for himself.  He tells his technician that he needs a favor; Dante comes to see Sonny and finds him gone.  His ankle bracelet is laying on the coffee table; Sonny walks into Ava’s gallery.

02-07-2017 (Tuesday)

Nina comes into the office, basically talking to herself, even though she thinks Maxie is listening to her; when she realizes she isn’t, she walks back out into the reception area.  Nina asks Maxie if there is a problem; Maxie stands up and says, “yes.”  She tells her she is upset that Nina and “her husband” are keeping her best friend from her daughter.  Nina tells Maxie that Lulu is only thinking of herself and that’s no way to raise a child… she also says Valentin gives his daughter security and stability and Charlotte adores him.  Even though Maxie finds it difficult, they agree to disagree and just not talk about things related to Charlotte, for the sake of the magazine.  Nina gets a call from the nanny, saying she has a family emergency and must leave; Nina tells her to bring Charlotte to the office.  After Charlotte is there, she gets a call from an angry advertising client, threatening to pull all of their adds if Nina doesn’t meet with her immediately.  Maxie tells Nina to go; she says she has no problem keeping an eye on Charlotte there at the office.

Jason and Curtis are shocked to hear Julian refer to this woman as his “own sister”- Jason tries to look through binoculars; he says he can see the back of a blonde woman.  They wonder if it is Ava.  Julian and his sister have a few more words and she orders him to get going and to do as she has instructed.  Jason and Curtis determine that Ava must be the one responsible for putting the bomb in Julian’s car; they obviously don’t notice that Olivia sounds nothing like Ava.  Jason begins to wonder if Julian could have another sister that he doesn’t know about; supposedly they couldn’t hear her talking when the music was off.  He heads back to Sonny's.

Felix is surprised to see Elizabeth at work, and says he stands in awe of her.  He says he wouldn’t have come into work after everything that happened to her; she smiles and says, “that’s what ‘we’ nurses do, isn’t it?”  Hayden and Michael discuss the hospital board’s proposals for keeping the hospital open; Hayden says she doesn’t want to make any cuts either, but it’s the only way they can save GH.  They agree this isn’t going to be easy, but in the long run it will help people; Nurse Amy rounds the corner to hear them saying it is going to be really hard to do.  She questions what is going to be hard to do.  Amy presses to find out if the hospital is closing again; Hayden says they are just looking at their options.  Amy walks away saying she knows what that means.  She begins to spread the word.  Elizabeth confronts Hayden about the rumors of job cuts now circulating the hospital; Hayden swears that is not what she wants to do, but admits that she may not have a choice.  Elizabeth walks away, saying she thought Hayden had changed; thought she had actually started caring about people.  Liz asks her if she is going to fire her own sister, then turns and walks away.  Hayden stresses over what else she can do to cut the budget that won’t cost people their jobs; the nurses get together and decide that they are going to call a union rep… they are going to fight back.

Carly and Sonny discuss the foundation they want to set up in Morgan’s name; Carly says as soon as Nelle comes back down with those tax forms, they can get started.  Nelle asks herself where “this” would have the most effect… she sticks the bra down between the mattress and the headboard of Sonny’s bed.  She comes back down, saying she has the forms, holding a folder tightly, and says she will take them back to the office and put them with the other papers.  Carly thanks her, saying she has made this situation so much easier (although I don’t truly understand how); Nelle says she has to find a way to ‘pay them back’ for all they’ve done, still smiling.  Carly and Sonny get a little intimate after she leaves and start to head upstairs, just as Jason comes in; he says he and Sonny need to talk.  Carly excuses herself, saying she should get going anyway.  Jason tells Sonny most of what he and Curtis learned, but leaves out the fact that whoever this woman is, Julian is answering to, is supposedly his sister.  Sonny senses that he is leaving something out.

Alexis runs into Julian at the Metro Court; Julian says he just came from a trying meeting.  Alexis is just waiting for her coat, she says, on her way to an AA meeting; Julian tells her he’s glad to hear that.  She says she has accepted that she is an alcoholic, whether she goes to meetings or not; she says her sponsor has helped her realize that.  Julian recalls meeting her “sponsor” (his sister, Olivia).  He wishes her the best.

Michael comes to the Metro Court and sees Nelle, who is sitting down to have a cup of coffee; she invites him to join her and he does, although he tells her he might not be the best company right now.  She asks what the matter is, and he shares his concerns about having to cut jobs in order to save the hospital as a whole.  Carly shows up, carrying flowers that had been delivered for Nelle; Nelle takes them and says she is going to get back to work.  Carly apologizes to Michael, saying she knows that must have been awkward for him; he says it’s fine.  He tells her he’s okay being Nelle’s friend, even if nothing more; he then shares with her Joslyn having peeked at the card the other day, and reveals that Nelle’s mystery-boyfriend signed the card with the initial “S.”  Sonny calls up the man who provided the surveillance equipment and asks if everything was recorded remotely; he is informed that it was.  Sonny then tells the man to bring the audio and video footage to him so he can review it himself.

02-06-2017 (Monday) The Forgotten Jerome Sibling

Franco and Elizabeth wake up together and discuss the feeling that this might be a dream; if it is, Liz says, she doesn’t want to wake up from it.  But then she tells him that she has to get going because she has to work today; he asks her to considering taking the day off.  He tells her he is afraid of what might happen to them outside of that room; he’s afraid he is going to screw everything up again.  She reassures him that he is in her life now and that they are strong enough to work through anything; they kiss.  Elizabeth’s youngest comes running in the room and announces that “gandma” is there; Liz turns him around and tells him to go back downstairs and she’ll come make him breakfast.  He turns back around and asks Franco if he is hurt; Franco says yes and says that his mom has been nice enough to fix him up.  He asks Franco if he is his mom’s boyfriend and Franco says he’s just hanging out there for now; Elizabeth bends down and tells him that Franco is, in fact, her boyfriend and asks how he feels about that.  He simply asks if they can have waffles for breakfast.

Curtis is keeping surveillance on Julian.  Julian goes to talk to his big sister, Olivia, at her ‘herb shop’ and questions why she is doing this; he tells her instead of threatening his family, she could be a part of it.  She scoffs at the thought; though, she says, not too many people in Port Charles would even remember who she is.  He asks why she is hiding then; she blows him off, talking about her desire to purchase of General Hospital instead.  She pleads with him to help her make the purchase, pulling strings on the board.  He tells her he doesn’t have that kind of pull.  Sam tells Jason that she has decided she is not going to leave without him; she says she is going to stay with Sonny for now, while he figures out what is going on with Julian.  Curtis calls and tells Jason that he needs to get there immediately.

Now in the car, Curtis hands the headphones to Jason; all he can hear is music.  Curtis says the equipment can’t shut out certain frequencies, so as long as they are playing the music they can’t hear what they are saying.  Inside, Julian continues to question what it is about GH that is so important to Liv… she says she has fond memories from there.  He says all she has are awful memories of the entire town and he cannot fathom why she wants to be there; she tells him that information is above his ‘pay grade’ and all he needs to know is what will happen if he is unsuccessful.  She sits down to her computer, showing Julian that she has hacked into GH’s security cameras; she mentions his son and “his husband” saying that they are the cutest couple.  Julian takes a breath.  He tells her he will do what he can; he shuts off the music.  He tells Liv “no more threats, no more bombs…” – he says he is tired of living in fear of his sister.  Curtis and Jason can’t believe what they hear.

Brad catches Finn taking pills again; he asks how the pain is.  Finn asks what he wants; Brad says he wants security – he wants to be compensated for his work.  He tells Finn to pay up, or he won’t shut up.  Lucas walks up behind Brad, looking a little pissed.  He questions why he is blackmailing Finn; Brad claims he isn’t and somehow talks his way out of it.  Lucas apologizes for accusing him, says he has to go do his rounds and kisses Brad as he leaves.  Camera flashes to Finn in the hallway, taking more pills.

Felicia tries to get to know Nelle, under the pretense of designing her room…she brings up Nelle’s supposed ‘boyfriend’ but Nelle doesn’t spill.  Felicia asks for a glass of water and begins to snoop around when Nelle leaves the room; she pretends to be just ‘taking it all in’ to get an idea of Nelle’s likes.  Nelle gets a call from Carly to come into work; Felicia excuses herself.  She meets Bobbie in the elevator at the hospital; Bobbie asks how it went.  Felicia tells her that she things Nelle is being less than truthful about her boyfriend; she mentions the bra she found with a price tag in the hundreds.  They discuss the fact that this ‘casual’ fling of Nelle’s must have a lot of money, as Nelle can’t afford to remodel her own bedroom.  Nelle meets Carly at Sonny’s, per her request, and is asked to retrieve something from the bedroom; Carly questions if she knows where it is and Nelle smiles, saying she is sure she can find her way.  She pulls out the bra she secretly purchased as she stands over Sonny’s bed.

02-03-2017 (Friday) Double-cross

Jason and Sonny discuss why this woman set Sonny up; he figures so he would be out of her way so she can do whatever it is she’s up to.  Sonny says they have to find out who is pulling Julian’s strings; Liv tells Julian he better not disappoint her; Alexis walks in the door and asks what is going on here.  Alexis asks Julian why he isn’t gone yet, not acting surprised to see Liv at all; Julian questions how they know each other.  Alexis says he is her sponsor; they met in AA.  Julian is shocked.  Liv apologizes to Julian about not being able to be forthright with him; Sponsor confidentiality, you know.  The scene flashes to their first meeting; Alexis tells Liv all about her family.  Alexis tells Julian she has been a great help to her already.  Alexis gets a call and leaves the room; Julian starts chewing her out… they bicker, stopping as Alexis opens the door to re-enter the room.  Liv tells Alexis she is never far away; Alexis thanks her.  Julian suggests he just stay there and help her so that she doesn’t have to rely on some stranger; she gets mad, saying he is just trying to use that as an excuse to not get out of her life.  He apologizes again and leaves; he suggests she should rely more on her daughters rather than on Liv.  He calls Liv once outside the house; Curtis is hiding in the bushes as hears him.  Alexis calls Liv almost immediately; who reassures her she’s done the right thing.

Some guy named Brick comes over to Sonny’s; he has recording devices and spy equipment; he doesn’t appear too friendly as he shows off his goods.  Sonny thanks the man for his donation to the foundation in Morgan’s name; the man says what happened was tragic.  Sonny says it was murder and it won’t go unpunished; they man says that he knows, as no one messes with Sonny and walks away clean.  Curtis compliments the equipment as he packs it up and says he needs to get on his way.

Joslyn fusses over getting a younger photo of Michael for her family tree project; she makes a comment that Nelle would probably like to see what Michael looked like when he was ten.  Carly tells Jos that Nelle is already taken.  Joslyn still insists they should be together.  Jos and Michael go to the Metro Court; Joslyn asks who the flowers are from.  Nelle doesn’t say, just smiles; when she leaves to do something, Jos starts to look at the card.  Nelle comes back and sees them looking at it; only an initial “S” and the words, “thinking of you.”  Michael looks sad.

Felicia introduces herself to Nelle, who just happens to receive a delivery of flowers at the Metro Court; Felicia ends up giving Nelle all kinds of dirt on Bobbie Spencer, about her past, and tells Nelle what ever she does, not to put her trust in Bobbie.  Felicia says she has to go look for ideas for redecorating her house; Nelle says she should check out her place.  Felicia says she would love to and offers to redecorate her place just for the portfolio pictures.  Felicia goes straight to Bobbie in the park, and they call each other names and then laugh; she tells Bobbie that Nelle bought her act, hook, line and sinker.  She says her PI skills were a little rusty, but the minute she started bashing Bobbie, she started biting; Felicia tells Bobbie she has checked for  Nelle’s social media history.  The weird thing is, there is none.  What girl, her age, they wonder, doesn't have any social media accounts?

Elizabeth brings Franco breakfast in bed; he asks her if she is sure she’s ready to make things official, adding she may get called every name in the book.  She says she’s not a wimp.  He tells her he loves her and he just wants to protect her.  She tells him he is important to her, adding everyone she loves is important to her; he reaches up and cups her face with his hand.  She sits down on the bed with him and they begin to kiss, very romantically.  A very sweet song plays, while they undress and lovingly caress each other; nice and slow, gentle and tender, they hold each other’s naked bodies and kiss.

02-02-2017 (Thursday)

Olivia and Ned make out on the couch; he assures her they are all alone.  Dillon walks into the room to get a muffin; they sit up.  Ned shows Dillon out and then gets frustrated when Olivia says she has to get back to Leo; he invites her to move in there with him, but she says they don’t belong there.  He claims he understands, but tries to talk her into it anyway.  She kisses him and leaves.  Ned says a few harsh words to Dillon when he comes back in; then he wonders if Olivia just doesn’t feel the same way about him as he does about her.  Dillon suggests maybe Olivia sees some reliability issues.  Jason and Sam fill Carly in on their plan to make Julian think they are mad at each other; they laugh about what an act they put on.  Carly asks who’s watching and where this plan is going; Sonny says it starts with Julian Jerome.   They tell her about this other woman that Rudg was working for; Carly tells them to let her know as soon as they find out who killed her son.  Carly does out for a cup of coffee and runs into Olivia; she tells Olivia that Julian is involved in something ugly… she says she needs to know this, without knowing it.  Olivia asks if she has told Alexis; Carly says she shouldn’t need to… Alexis has a restraining order against him.

Jordan is on the phone with the new D.A., who is becoming a pain for her; Andre questions if the trip yielded any results.  She flashes to her and Curtis beginning to make love on the bed; she replies to Andre, not the results she had hoped for.  She asks how the wedding was; he says uneventful, basically.  She asks him into the interrogation room to talk; they both start to speak at the same time… she tells him to go first.  He says he realizes she has a lot of responsibilities and is very busy; he apologizes for getting mad about her leaving the wedding.  He continues to tell her how she makes him feel and says it was just plain disappointment that she would be leaving.  She tells him that somehow he has become essential to her life and she is scared to death of losing him; he says she was never in danger of losing her.  She tells him she chooses him; they hug.  Curtis comes back in to talk to her, asking what she is going to do.  She says she is going forward with the case against Sonny; he thinks she should wait, but he asks whether he has earned his badge back or not.  She tells him if he wants his badge back, he is going to have to go to a different department; she doesn’t want to work with him anymore.  He says she just can’t stand the tension between them because she wants him; she slaps him. Then she apologizes; he asks if what happened in the motel room meant nothing to her.  She says it was a wake up call; she tells him he doesn’t fit into her life personally or professionally anymore.  He says they’ll see about that.

Alexis makes an appointment to have coffee with her sponsor over the phone; Julian comes downstairs with his bags packed.  He tells her he is moving out.  He says he got her sober; his work there is done.  He promises that he won’t say anything about her hitting him with the car; it never happened, he says.  Then he asks her if she might want him to stay, claiming it was a joke when he sees her response.  He tells her he is only a phone call away if she needs him.  She says she has a meeting to go to; he says he’ll be gone when she gets back.  When he turns to leave, “Liv” is standing at the door.  She says she saw Alexis leave and sits down on the couch; she wants a status report on diverting Jason off of her trail.  He says there is no report.  She stands up; he tells her to hear him out.  He says he talked Jason into dropping the investigation completely; he has cut ties with Sonny, putting his family first.  She tells him good job and asks about what’s going on with GH; he sighs.  He says he’s been targeting members of the board but is meeting a lot of resistance; she says that’s too bad, and tells him he better not disappoint her.

Franco wakes up to see Elizabeth standing over him, stroking his hair; she says she looked for him everywhere and couldn’t find him.  She apologizes for him having to rescue her when she was trying to rescue him; he said it was totally worth it to get to her.  She tells him that Kiki and Scott came by and Heather even tried to call; he even got flowers from Ava.  She says he’ll just have to accept that people actually care about him.  She tells him from now on, she wants to face things together or not at all… he quickly says he chooses together; she kisses him sweetly.  Alexis comes in and offers an apology to Franco; she tells him she owes him.  Elizabeth thanks Sam for saving Franco; Sam tells Liz she owes her too, so they shake hands and decide to call it even.  Carly and Olivia talk; Carly gets the impression that Ned is wanting to marry Olivia and tells her so.  Olivia freaks out and says she hopes not.

Elizabeth comes back in to tell Franco he is being discharged; she asks if he wants to go back to his place, or if he would like to come home with her.  She says she would like to take care of him; he says, “your place it is.”Jason tells Sonny that Curtis is under the impression that he is going to “handle” whoever it is that killed Morgan; he lets Sonny know that he only plans to deliver the guy to the police.  He asks if that is okay with Sonny, or if he needs to find someone else to find him.  Sam tells her mom that she and the boys are leaving town for a little while… she tells her that Sonny and Jason have had a falling out and Jason’s afraid Sonny is going to go after Julian and he wants them out of the way.  She invites her mom to come with them, but she declines, saying she’s sure Julian will keep his distance.  On her way out of the hospital, Sam sees Franco and thanks him for not turning her mom in; but then whispers in his ear, not to think for a moment that it makes up for what he did to her.

02-01-2017 (Wednesday) Why is Nelle so Angry?

Nina begins defending Valentin; Anna interrupts her and says she has no ill-will toward her or Valentine.  Nina asks why she is so obsessed with him; Anna says Valentin is the one who is obsessed with her.  Nina gets upset and says she is tired of everyone picking on her husband, insisting he is a good man.  Nina sees the picture on Anna’s computer; she asks if that’s him.  She says yes.  She tells Anna what Valentin’s version of events were; she says it wasn’t that bad, she tried to let him down gently.  Nina tells her that she is shallow and thoughtless and cruel, and that’s why Valentin makes her uncomfortable, because she feels guilty, adding that she should.  Nina tells her it’s hard to find out that you are not so beautiful after all and leaves.

Lulu suggests that she and Valentin has things out, just her and him.  She tells him she is willing to accept joint custody for now; he tells her his offer is rescinded.  She gets very angry and begins yelling; Nina comes in and asks what’s going on.  Lulu says he doesn’t know what he just started; she leaves in a huff.  Nina comes back as Lulu is leaving; she tells him she went to see Anna and admits that she saw the picture of him…she says she is glad she saw it.  She understands his strength and courage now; she says she admires him and tells him again how much he means to her.  Anna makes a phone call, asking about the picture, which she is told doesn’t exist – she says she is looking at it right now; the picture becomes pixilated and disappears right before her eyes.

Michael finds Nelle sitting in the park – she was contemplating throwing the silver rattle away, I think.  He says it’s obvious she has something on her mind.  She says it’s the anniversary of her father’s death, and even though she didn’t have the happiest of childhoods, she has a nice memory of sitting out on the grass and looking up at the stars with him.  It makes her still feel connected; she points out the constellation Orion.  Michael mentions a story of Orion in mythology, as the guy who almost wiped out all the animals in the world to quench his bloodlust.  Nelle excuses herself; Michael asks if he crossed the line again.  She tells him he didn’t do anything wrong; he admits his mother told him that she was seeing someone – and stutters about the fact that he might be married.  She swears she never said that to Carly and says there’s other reasons she hasn’t told about it; Michael questions if its abusive.  She says no, just older than her; the kind of guy that doesn’t want to be tied down…she says it’s casual, more like an arrangement than a relationship and that’s all she wants right know, claiming it works for her.  She says she has to catch the bus; Michael offers to give her a ride, just as friends.

Bobbi offers to help Carly put together a family tree album for Joslyn’s class; Carly is shocked to see Sonny being handcuffed when they arrive.  He tells her everything is okay and he will tell her about it later; he’s going in for a supposed spine issue, but Carly can tell it’s something else.  Bobbi and Carly laugh about how far they have come, from her traveling across the country to ruin her mother’s life, to this wonderful relationship they have now.  They hug.  Sam confronts her father; she asks what he did to her husband.  He denies doing anything; she says she knows he did it.  Sonny comes in and sees them; he asks Griffin if he can go see Jason while they are waiting for the x-rays to come back; Griffin consents.  Sonny remarks that he’ll be back because his word means something.  Jason tells Sonny that he is out, reiterating that he told him he cannot get involved in Sonny’s business anymore; he says he can’t put his children in danger anymore.  Julian listens outside of the door, as Sonny tells him the person who killed Morgan is still out there.  Jason apologizes but says he can’t sacrifice his family.  The nurse comes to tell Julian they are ready for him; Sonny continues to yell at Jason as Julian walks off.  Sam closes the door and says they are clear.  They are hoping to make Julian and his boss think they are no longer a threat.  Sam apologizes for her father; Jason says he doesn’t matter.  They are what is important.

Nelle and Michael arrive at Sonny’s; Michael is surprised to see the photo of his mom and her adoptive father, Frank Benson.  Carly says he left her mom and her when she was three; left them flat.  She says her mom didn’t talk much about Frank and she always got the impression that he was a sad, and bitter man.  She says she could care less about Frank, but she loves Virginia – she raised her - sadly she died right after Michael was born.  She reminisces about going to the beach with Jason and Michael, at 4 months old.  Nelle listens intently.  She looks sad; she goes over to look at a baby photo of Carly.  Bobbie comes in and questions why she is interested in that photo; Nelle tells her to back off.  Bobbie tells her a story about a cat in their neighborhood when she was a kid, who attacked when backed into a corner, as she backs Nelle up to the wall.  Carly comes back in the room to find Nelle almost in tears; she asks her mom what she’s done to her.  Nelle says it’s nothing; she says she just needs to get going and she leaves.  Michael tells his mom she has just been pretty emotional lately, probably thinking about her family.  Bobbie excuses herself to go home; she makes a call to someone, asking this person to check out Nelle Hays.  Nelle talks to her rattle again; says she thought about letting this all go, letting the past be the past and starting something with Michael…but, she says, she could never be completely honest with him; and after hearing Carly talk about all of her accomplishes, about her past, “she deserves everything that’s coming…” to have her “world come crashing down on her.”

01-31-2017 (Tuesday) Franco Saves the Day!

Jason rips off his blood pressure cuff and starts getting out of bed; Felix ask where he thinks he’s going.  Jason says home; Sam walks in and asks why he didn’t tell her he was in the hospital.  He tells her it wasn’t that big of a deal; she asks again why he is there…he says, “your dad drugged me.”  She is pissed, but Jason tells her he doesn’t think he meant to really hurt him; he thinks he was just trying to appease his ‘boss.’  He tells her that Julian seemed genuinely afraid for her and for Danny; he wants her and Danny to go to the safe house.  She begs him not to make her go; she asks about the woman – he says he needs to make her think he’s given up.  Sonny questions Ava when she brings Avery home; he swears she doesn’t know anything about who is controlling Julian, only knows his driver, Pete, and Buz, and a guy named ‘Hammer.’  Sonny asks about other relatives; she says no, all of their siblings are dead.  Jason calls Sonny and asks if there is any way he could come see him because he needs his friend right now.

Nina and Valentine talk now, outside; Nina questions him about Anna.  He says he just didn’t want to drudge up the past; he tells her he and Anna were in school together, at the WSB – she thinks he means that he was also a spy.  He tells her no, and apologizes for disappointing her; she says she’s just confused.  He explains he was a designated desk agent, claiming they just didn’t feel he was capable of being in the field.  He says he was different then; she asks how.  He tells her he had scoliosis and was distorted, hunchback.  He describes all of his horrible deformities, how much it hurt, and the pity and revulsion he got from people.  So he said he hid away in the library, until Anna changed everything.  He explains Anna was the one person who never pitied him; he says they were friends, until he tried to kiss her one-day.  He could tell she was disgusted.  She tells him there are some really horrible, ugly people that are beautiful on the outside, and thanks him for telling her all of that.  They kiss; she says she has to run an errand and leaves him standing there.

Anna is home; Lulu and Laura show up, saying they need to talk to her about Valentine.  They ask if there is anything she found that would help her get her daughter away from Valentine.  She tells them, nothing that was damning; just that she actually knew him years ago.  She tells them he was using a different name; Lulu asks if that was illegal – Anna says it could have been a legal name change.  She says there was goodness in him; and she has seen that goodness with Charlotte.  Anna suggests maybe Lulu should agree to shared custody for now; Laura adds that would give her a change to build her relationship with Charlotte while they continue to build a case against Valentine.  Lulu leaves and Laura tells Anna that she senses there is something she isn’t telling her; Anna tells her there is something she still doesn’t remember.  Laura says he if hurts her daughter, she will kill him.  Anna sits back down to her computer; she finds a picture of what he used to look like.  Nina shows up at her door.  Lulu finds Valentine back at the Floating Rib; she sits down and tells him they need to talk about their daughter.

Dante tells Alexis that she is free to go home; she is relieved, but still stressed.  Diane claims she has nothing more to worry about; she can go to the bar with a clear conscience.  Alexis is still frazzled; Julian shows up to talk to her.  She tells him that she told Dante everything about the night Baker died, but she remembers she didn’t kill Tom – she says she is still going to tell him about the hit and run.  Julian doesn’t want her to and she wonders why, asking if he just wants to keep leverage over her or what.  He claims not, he says he just wants to support her, because he cares about her, even if it can only be as a friend.  Diane comes out to say it’s time to go get her license back.  Alexis says she wants to tell the board that she is not yet ready to get her license back; Diane is shocked.

Franco tells the nurse that he needs to talk to the police right now; she doesn’t take him too seriously, but eventually goes.  Felix comes back to find Franco missing.  Tom’s brother tells Elizabeth he can’t let her leave, until he tells her the truth.  He says he and his mother have been dragged through the mud so many times; he can’t go through that again.  He mentions seeing Tom attack a woman in the ally, which catches Elizabeth off-guard… she questions the statement.  He describes Alexis’ encounter with Tom; he says he saw him for the first time, as a predator.  He admits to picking up the knife and stabbing his brother; she tells him that he doesn’t deserve to be prosecuted for that – he was defending Alexis, and her and Kiki.  He says maybe not, but he will be prosecuted for what he did to Franco.  .  Liz asks what he did to Franco; he admits beating him up, kicking him and leaving him in a locker.  He says it’s over for him; he steps toward her.  She begs him to just let her call the police; at that moment, Franco bursts through the door.  He punches the brother, then asks what he was going to do to Elizabeth; he says he doesn’t know.  He admits to Franco that he killed Tom; he adds that he doesn’t know if he would have come back for him or not.  Franco grabs him by the throat; he tells Franco to go ahead, saying he deserves it.  Franco releases his grip, just as the police burst in the door; Liz assures them Franco came to save her, which he did.  Dante asks them to come into the station; Liz insists that he needs medical care and has to go to the hospital.  Nathan arrests Tom’s brother, who has confessed now to his brother’s murder; Franco and Elizabeth stop in the doorway to kiss.
