07-18-2016 (Monday)

Julian is woken up by a shadow of someone walking in his room; it’s Lucas.  tells him that he no longer considers him to be his father – he is nothing to him anymore.  Julian claims he tried to be a good father; Lucas laughs.  Lucas tells him to stop lying; he knows he killed Carlos and tried to kill Alexis… tells him, he is going to prison to sit there and rot, because he won’t visit or even think about writing or calling.  Olivia walks in and says that goes for her too.  She tells him he will never see Leo again.  Alexis brings home another pregnancy test.  Her girls have a girls’ night planned; she tells them she can never apologize enough for putting them through all of this.  Molly goes to get her a glass of wine.  Alexis asks Cristina how things are going with her and Aaron (the new owner of Perk’s); she tells her he has been amazing – he’s truly a great guy.  Then she asks if she’s heard from Parker; she says no (but that she is coming to the University as a speaker next week).  Cristina offers to go cook dinner; comes out with the pregnancy test.

Hamilton Finn, apparently is Finn’s full name; he sees Sonny at the bar…mentions they met once before at a table over there, then asks if he could buy him a drink.  Sonny asks if he wants something.  He explains that he has a disease and that the FDA has not yet approved his medication, and his source is no longer available, but that without it, he is going to die.  He is wondering if there is anything Sonny can do to help.  Sonny asks what kind of medicine it is; he said they kind that has to be smuggled in from another country.  He tells Sonny that his wife died from this disease and he was on the verge of a cure when the research center was shut down.  Sonny says he knows somebody who might know somebody.  Hayden and Tracy wait in the park (for Hayden’s “drug dealer”, her mother).  But when Hayden tells her what they need, she says she can’t help.  She says money is no object; since when, her mother asks – Tracy steps forward and says since me.  Her mom asks Hayden what it is worth to her; Hayden gets pissed (says she is asking her for a favor).  She wants to help this man.  Her mom is impressed, saying that she hardly recognizes her.

“Theo” tells everybody now on Cassadine Island that they are now his prisoners; three other men enter the room – he gets a hold of Sam and tells everyone to just cooperate and they may live through this.  He orders his men to take Jason upstairs and takes Sam with them, telling the guards to shoot anyone who moves, except Nikolas.  Laura thinks this is who sent her the picture of the Ice Princess… Nicolas swears he doesn’t remember the man; he says this guy showed up yesterday and told him that they met years ago.  Upstairs, Jason and Sam talk; he tells her that he thinks he remembers that guy; thinks he has been there before – when he was being held and brainwashed by Helena – he says he remembers the day she died; breaking in was easy… it felt like he knew where he was going (he has no conscious memory of being here with her, but he’s pretty sure he was).

Hayden’s mom comes back and tells them that the drug street name is “Zen-Zen” and it is highly addictive.  She tells Hayden that her friend is not sick; he’s an addict.  Olivia tells Julian he is dead to her, and to Leo… Lucas says he’s dead to him too; and probably will be to Sam, when she hears about this as well.  Olivia adds, “nobody gives a damn about you anymore Julian.”  Laura asks if Theo is on Helena’s payroll; he says no – Helena means nothing to him – he shows a tattoo on his forearm.  It’s the family crest; now Nikolas knows who he is.  Alexis looks at the test; it doesn’t show yet whether she is pregnant or not, and I can’t tell if she is relieved or horrified.  Jason and Sam plan their next move; he suggests that she get some sleep while he keeps watch, and she tells him no matter how this goes, she’s glad they are in it together.  Nikolas tells everyone this is his grandfather’s illegitimate son; the man says, that’s right, he is Nikolas’ bastard uncle, Valentine Casssadine.

07-15-2016 (Friday)

Laura, Lulu and Dante arrive in Greece, near Cassadine Island; apparently it was a bad plan landing.  Kevin shows up; Laura wasn’t expecting him, but she is touched.  He gives her an envelope, from Lloyd and Lucy Johnson.  It has some sand, and a picture of the “Ice Princess” Black Diamond; the one she and Luke found when Helena left a key and sent them on a search for the diamond, which led to the death of Mikos Cassadine (after they held her captive and forced her to marry Starbrose and got pregnant with Nikolas.  Kevin tells her it sounds dangerous and asks her to reconsider going to the island.  Sam is exhausted – Ava gives them shit about being not married… the guy with the gloves and hat, apparently just a guy with a fishing boat (Jason calls him “Theo”).

Curtis and Maxie are still looking around Claudette’s room; he asks Maxie about the history between Claudette and Nathan.  He finds nothing of interest and tells her he is off to do another job for Nina.  Nathan, still at lunch with Claudette, is insisting he needs the man’s name, in order to get closure; the conversation leads to their wedding day.  Morgan and Kiki go to Perk’s coffee shop, where they run into Dillon on a date with Darby (it annoys Kiki a little bit; she calls her a slutty train wreck, and tells him he needs to ask more questions about her).  Kiki says she would hate to see a friend hurt by someone like her; then gets annoyed because he asks if they are still friends.  Morgan comes back out and sees that they were talking – new he looks a little pissed.  He questions her about it; and she explains, it was just that she hates Darby.  He knows that.  Nathan, gets upset with Claudette because she won’t tell him his name, or anything about him; she says it’s over… she wants to move on.  She starts to leave, says she’s going back to her room; Nathan stops her (buying time).

Sam suggests that Ava leave as soon as the weather clears up enough for Theo to get his boat back on the water.  Nikolas suggests that Jason and Sam go back with him and use the picture to exonerate Jason – and leave him alone to go on with his life.  Ava happens to mention the diamonds that Nikolas is trying to get away with; she suggests he go back with them and turn his life around, for the sake of his son.  In the door walk Lulu, Laura, Dante and Kevin (Lulu hugs him and then hits him, and then hugs him again.)  Dante explains that Spencer was caught with a second phone and that’s how they knew to how to find him; tells Jason that the charges against him will be dropped, Nikolas will be arrested and he’ll take it from there.

Maxie talks to a wedding picture in Claudette’s room, telling her she doesn’t have a chance and she makes her exit.  When Maxie comes down, she acts shocked to see them together, asks what they are doing, and Nathan jumps up and kisses her intimately.  Claudette rolls her eyes.  After Claudette gets on the elevator, Maxie tells Nathan she is everything he warned her she was and worse.  He tells her about the picture and says it means she wants him back.  Curtis comes into the hospital, talking about the killer – mentions that Griffin doesn’t fit the profile (being a doctor and a priest)… he seems suspicious though.  Asks him why he left the priesthood, assuming it was because of a woman.  Griffin gets offended; then he apologizes and says he has a lot of work to do.  Claudette notices some things moved around in her room; immediately suspects Maxie.  Just as Dante gets ready to arrest and take Nikolas and everyone else makes plans to leave, “Theo” comes back into the room, with a gun, saying no one leaves or everyone will die.

07-14-2016 (Thursday)

Sonny and Carly check in on his “investment”, the coffee shop he loaned Cristina’s boyfriend money to open; looks like it’s in good hands, Sonny says.  Maxie sneaks at look at Nathan’s phone… when Valerie asks if she can talk to Nathan for a minute.  She asks if she can help with the investigation.  Claudette gets a text ‘from Nathan’ – hmmm.  When he comes back, Maxie tells Nathan that she has already texted Claudette from his phone, asking her out, so he doesn’t really have a choice – he asks why this is so important to her – she shows him Claudette’s room key (which she somehow grabbed out of her purse).  When he asks if that is Claudette’s, she says of course not (because her boyfriend is a police detective and she would never put him in the awkward position of knowing something like that).  Kisses him and tells him not to be late for his lunch date.

Franco steps onto the elevator with Elizabeth, just before the doors close… she asks how his day is going and he glares at her, as he pushes the ‘stop’ button.  Elizabeth looks worried; he covers the camera.  She asks if he is trying to scare her; he begins to talk, about the toast, the kiss – he tells her she is the reason he believes in himself.  He asks why she doesn’t believe in him any more; tells her he overheard her talking to Apiphany.  He asks why; she tells him it’s because she doesn’t trust herself.  She says she is not afraid of him; she is afraid of her feelings for him.  He smiles.  He starts the elevator again; but in the meantime, security has seen the covered camera and thinks he is holding Elizabeth hostage on the elevator.  They are on their way.

Curtis tells Jordan that he has decided to do some solo P.I. work, instead of joining the force; she tells him that TJ overheard them talking the other day.  Molly tells TJ that she was so worried about her mom yesterday, she didn’t even think about how mad she was at her yesterday; she tells him that she thinks he should go talk to his mom.  He does; after talking he still doesn’t get why she kept it a secret in the end.  But he forgives her; he knows she never meant to hurt him.  Molly questions Cristina’s reason for still dating this boy, and why she hasn’t told him about her feelings for Parker – she said she did tell him, everything except her gender.  Molly gets a notice on her phone that Port Charles University is having a ‘key note speaker’ at the Academic Conference – Parker.

Nathan meets Claudette for lunch; she is beaming.  He does his best to keep her talking as long as possible, while Maxie rummages through her room – Curtis happens to let himself in and he and Maxie decide to work together to find dirt on Claudette.  Carly gets an email from a website she set up, which might be a lead on where Joslyn’s kidney came from; she sets up a meeting.  Maxie tells Curtis that Claudette could cause a lot of trouble for Nathan… Nathan tells Claudette he wants to find the man he shot, just to know he is okay; to give him some peace of mind; he asks her to tell him his name.  Wow.  This is going to get interesting.

When Franco and Elizabeth get off the elevator, the police grab Franco; Elizabeth tells them the elevator just got stuck – Franco actually calmed her down and told her it would be okay; smiling, she asks them to let him go now, saying “Franco would never hurt me.”

07-13-2016 (Wednesday)

Sonny comes to see Alexis at her house; she thanks him.  He tells her she already did; he didn’t come to gloat; he is there as a friend.  Sonny reassures her that she did the right thing; she has nothing to feel bad about.  He leaves her, asking if she is going to be all right – she says eventually.  He says he’s around if she needs him.  He makes a phone call to ask if “it’s all set.”  Alexis looks at her calendar with concern; I have the feeling she may actually be pregnant.

Hayden meets with Tracy at the bar – Tracy has arranged for Finn’s medicine to be smuggled in… Hayden says she has a problem being a ‘drug mule’ – while Finn is at home tearing through his house, looking for an extra dose he had hidden somewhere.  Tracy tells Hayden she will go on this mission alone then, but she has to tell Finn.  They go to see him; Finn forbids Tracy from going on a drug run, despite the fact that he is out.  He tells them both that he wants them to stay out of it.  Elizabeth shows Franco an email she got confirming enrollment to an art camp for Jake (Franco says he meant to tell her about that).  She’s a little miffed.  Franco apologizes.  After being, semi-sweet and admitting that there are things she likes and appreciates about him, Elizabeth tells Franco if he has any more ideas about her son, to talk to her first.

C.J. talks to Nina, admitting that she had stopped reading Crimson, until the green issue came out; tells her she was impressed.  Nina likes her.  Just as Maxie walks in, she asks what the “C” stands for; Maxie answers, Claudette.  Nina nearly chokes on her coffee.  Claudette tells her that C.J. is her professional name, and she just didn’t want to get any special treatment… Nina tells her not to worry, because she won’t get any.  She tells her she’s fired.  Maxie asks Nina to speak in the other room – she tells her she wants Claudette there, so she can keep an eye on her, because she doesn’t trust her.  Ooooh, Nina goes back out and tells her that she is not fired after all… Maxie has convinced her to give her a chance.  She insists she thank Maxie; then glares at her as she leaves the room.  She goes to talk to Curtis; hires him to investigate a doctor doing bad plastic surgery; he offers to investigate Claudette as well.  Maxie insists she is just doing what is best for the magazine.  Claudette assures her that she has completely moved past her relationship with Nathan and won’t cause any trouble.

Franco overhears Elizabeth asking Nurse Johnson to try to schedule her on opposite hours from Franco; she says if she can stay away from him, she will be okay – he tells her he is done trying to be nice.  What’s the use?  Maxi tells Nathan she needs a favor; she wants him to take Claudette to lunch.

07-07/07-12 (Thursday, Friday, Monday and Tuesday) Snippets

EXTRAS:  Nina finds Julian at the bar… sits down; hard-times him about having problems with Alexis so soon after their marriage; then apologizes, saying she is just trying to get past her own situation.  Nina vents to Julian about Elizabeth; says Franco has already moved on with her.  She thinks part of his attraction to her is because he likes her son, saying he’s like a surrogate father to him – he refuses to be a father, but he’s a surrogate father – says he doesn’t want children at all; but she sees that he just doesn’t want children with her.  Reflecting back to Elizabeth’s interview with Nathan after finding Dr. Mayes dead (I’m confused about why the patient isn’t being mentioned), we are reminded that Liz mentioned Franco showing up right after she started CPR.  Forward to Olbrecht venting about being under suspicion over this, she is outraged; Franco says they should be used to it.  She offers him an alibi, which makes him think she did it.

07-07-2016 (Thursday) Alright, I totally missed a few episodes – apparently Hulu only shows the ten most recent episodes of the current season?  Didn’t know that - and there are NO highlights of this particular day… why I’m not sure, because this appears to have been an eventful one!  From what I gather, Julian became suspicious when Alexis pulled back from him, as he tried to kiss her; he probably figured out that she was wearing a wire and ran out of the house.  Sonny and Anna were monitoring the wire, so Sonny must have taken off after Julian, who was chasing after Alexis, and they end up down by the docks (of course… everything goes down on the docks in Port Charles).

07-08-2016 (Friday) Cristina reassures Molly that her mom is going to be okay – her dad and everyone who works for him is out looking for her.  Meanwhile, Sonny and Julian wrestle on the docks, as Julian tries to take away Sonny’s gun.  Alexis crawls out from behind a crate and reaches for the knife, which lay on the ground… as Sonny tells Julian he is going to die on his knees like the coward he is, Alexis stabs him in the side of his back.  He instantly stops and falls to the ground.  Alexis begins to sob.  He doesn’t die though, apparently; he is taken to the hospital.

07-11-2016 (Monday) It appears that Sam, Jason, Nikolas, and Ava have company on Cassadine Island.  A gloved hand knocks a vase off of a table; someone also wearing a hat is wandering through the house.  His body shape and size doesn’t look too intimidating, however; but what is he doing?

07-12-2016 (Tuesday) Maxie finds out that C.J. is really Claudette.  Julian is on his way to prison… Cristina talks Sonny into lending her boyfriend the money to open “Perks”, an actual coffee shop, instead of just the truck he had once envisioned.  He gives Morgan and Cristina both jobs there – Sonny tells him not to give them any special treatment.

07-06-2016 (Wednesday)

Claudette tells Nathan that she came to tell him that she got a job and met Maxie; Nathan tells her to leave town.  She tells him how much she liked Maxie – then admits that she treated him badly (they reminisce).  *Just dawned on me that this is the actress who played Jessie for some time on AMC; and the girl playing Maxie looks like “Melanie” from Days.  Nathan thinks Claudette is only there to cause him trouble, but she swears that isn’t true.  Nathan has to admit that she is a great graphics designer.  She swears she wants to make peace; she just wants to stay there, live her life and work with Maxie.  He says no.  She tells him she could cause trouble, but says she won’t; then she says she sorry and says she’ll leave (but swears she didn’t blackmail him?).

Sonny, Carly and Avery, sitting on the couch, all laughing; Sonny comments what a happy family they have.  They go to watch the fireworks display.  (This baby playing Avery is pretty cute.)

Alexis is nervous about the wire; Anna walks her through a test to make sure the equipment is working, with Paul keeping watch.  Julian shows up with roses.  Alexis tells him they need to work things out; she says she wants to get past this and salvage what they had.  He agrees; he then shows her the knife (he got it back from evidence, somehow).  She tells him that’s not necessary; Diane is working on a new defense strategy.  She asks how he got it… he says that’s not important; what is, is that the police don’t even know it’s missing.  So he kept his word.  Alexis gets him to say exactly what they needed him to say, saying she has to know the truth.  He discusses what happened, and even admits to the hit on Duke.  He promises they will be okay; she agrees, but when he goes to kiss her, she recoils.  Now he’s upset and questioning why… she looks frightened.

As Sam and Jason look around the mansion on Cassadine Island, they hear screaming from down below; Ava has seen a rat.  Nikolas comforts Ava; Jason and Sam decide to wait for them to come back upstairs.  They come up and toast to no more surprises; Nikolas begins to tell Ava the history of the Cassadines.  Jason and Sam walk in.  Jason tells him he is going to exonerate himself; he’s taking Nikolas back to Port Charles.  Takes his picture, holding a morning newspaper.  Ava tells Sam that her father called her; he’s having another baby… Sam is shocked.  She tells Jason they need to get back home; Nikolas says they are stuck on the island for now, but agrees that he has to go back.  Jason asks Nikolas how he could do this to everyone he loves.  Nikolas shrugs.

07-05-2016 (Tuesday)

I WILL GET CAUGHT UP!  I PROMISE;-)

Hayden shows up with Finn’s medicine again; he injects himself, now feeling much better.  Maxi has been replaced (hopefully temporarily) by a brunette?  Not great casting there.  She talks to Dillon; notices he’s down.  He tells her about Kiki’s decision to go back to Morgan.  Whoa!  Dr. Mays is laying dead on the floor, too, when Elizabeth goes back into the also now dead-patient’s room.  Griffin thinks he knows the motive... they have an “angel of mercy” at GH.  Olbrecht and Franco both suspect each other, but Olbrecht also accuses Griffin.

Kiki and Morgan go to the park for the 4th of July celebration; as Morgan puts sunblock on her back, she has flashes of kissing Dillon.  A girl named C.J. meets with Maxie and Dillon for a job interview.  It’s Claudette!  Maxie loves her; they hit it off.  She hires her; she really seems to know her stuff.  Finn is surprised by Tracy’s insensitivity when he explains that he is no longer a suspect.  She tells him she has a team of lawyers working on getting him out for saving ‘Teddy’ (Sabrina’s baby, “Edward”).  Franco is interviewed by Nathan and for one reason or another, lies about where he was at the time.  He talks to Elizabeth afterward; he insists he didn’t do it…or any of the others, he says.  She says she knows, and smiles.

Laura and Kevin take Spencer to the 4th of July celebration; Nikolas calls him.  They hear him say, “father” and he tells them he is just leaving a message on his father’s voice mail; called just so he can hear his voice.  Nathan goes to see his mother; he needs the hospital employees’ schedule for the past six months as part of the investigation.  He walks into another room to make a call and sees Claudette standing there.  Nikolas brings Ava to a compound in Greece his family has owned for centuries; just by talking about Nikolas and Ava, with Sam, Jason deduces that they are probably on Cassadine Island.  Jason and Sam arrive at the compound, just as Nikolas takes Ava down into the wine cellar.  Tracy returns to get Finn released; then says she is going to get him reinstated at the hospital.  Hayden and Finn go out to dinner.  Franco sees Elizabeth at the fireworks gathering; he keeps her from spilling all of her drinks and food.  She seems happy to see him.

07-01-2016 (Friday)

Franco goes to visit his mother, Heather, at the mental hospital; he asks her what she thinks of Elizabeth Weber… she was married to her father at one time, after all.  ‘Steven Lars’ is her older brother, I believe.  Franco explains that he and Elizabeth work together… and although they have a messy history (seeing as how he kidnapped her son once), he likes her, and likes working with her boy.  He asks about Elizabeth’s dad.  Heather doesn’t tell him much; then she asks if he is broke… tells him she has money.  Says a man made her a deal she couldn’t refuse.

Julian tells Nina that Alexis is pregnant; slightly irritated, she wishes him well.  She tells him trying to have a baby didn’t fix things for her and Franco, but whatever.  The old doc tells Elizabeth that he sure hates to see old people suffer; he is weird – I think he’s the killer.  Anna tells Alexis to tell Julian she wants him back; to use his ego against him.  This time, she is going to wear a wire, instead of trying to record him with her phone; they will be listening closely and will stay nearby.  T.J. comes to visit his mom at her office; asks why she didn’t tell him that Shaun was really his dad…why she is still lying to him.  She says she would do it again…swears she did it for his sake.  Thomas was the only father he ever knew; things were complicated – as you get older, life gets harder, she tells him.  He gets angry, calls her a liar and leaves frustrated.  His uncle, Curtis, frustrates him too.

Alexis tells Anna that she owes her an apology; she really thought Julian got out of the mob, but she married him knowing about Duke.  She says she rationalized, justified things…she’s truly sorry and would change things if she could.  Anna just says, “wear the wire.”  As Julian tells Nina, one word, one gesture, he’d go back to Alexis in a minute, she calls and asks him to come back to talk, tomorrow.  Hayden gets to Finn just in time; he is too weak to inject himself, so she has to do it for him (through the jail bars, no guard in sight… right).  She promises to come back in the morning to give him his next does.  He thanks her and they become unlikely friends.  The ornery old doctor tells Elizabeth to be sure everyone knows this certain patient has a DNR on file – then orders her to leave the room.  When she re-enters the room, the patient has no pulse and no respiration.

Thursday 06-30-2016

Hayden goes to visit Finn, in jail, and finds him huddled in a corner; sees he is in pain.  He tells her he has a package at GH with his medication in it.  She offers to get it; (she feels bad about her dad causing the collapse of his foundation, trying to find the treatment for the disease that killed his wife).  Franco and Elizabeth almost run into each other in the hall at GH; pretty awkward like.

Meanwhile, Hayden sneaks a peek into the hospital mail, dressed as a scrub-nurse.  She finds an envelope addressed to Dr. Finn; she is almost caught by Elizabeth, stopped at the elevator and questioned.  Elizabeth tells her that she knows she and Finn have a secret… Hayden tells her she’s in a hurry.  Nurse Nancy interrupts and Hayden gets away.  Nurse Nancy tells Elizabeth that Dr. Finn was arrested today; says he’s in serious trouble – she doesn’t believe he’s the killer though.  Anna and Sonny talk about ‘the plan’ to get Julian to confess.

The pregnancy test Julian forces Alexis to take comes back pregnant… hmmm.  Anna and Sonny are concerned for her safety, but decide to go ahead.  Nina overhears Franco and Elizabeth talking in the hospital again; senses he has feelings for her.  Alexis tells Julian to leave now; he tells her the baby changes everything, insisting that they are not over, but he does leave.  Kiki tells Carly how Dillon pulled her through a really difficult time – they are friends – that’s all.  But Carly questions whether this is true.  At the end of the day, Kiki tells Dillon she doesn’t have time for him anymore.

Wednesday 06-29-2016

Julian says Alexis can’t be pregnant.  Sonny says he doesn’t care if he doesn’t believe him; they will find a way to put him in jail or in the ground.  He tells Julian to stay away from Alexis.  Morgan tells his mom he hasn’t lost Kiki; she is giving him another chance.  Dillon tells Kiki that he was an idiot and he wants her back – he loves making her smile – says he thinks he is the person who can truly make her happy; “the better way to go.”  She is confused.  Alexis appears to believe she is pregnant, holding her belly and looking through photo albums at pictures of her kids.  Julian shows up asking if it’s true.  She tells him yes.  He says they need to make plans; she says her plans don’t include him.

Anna asks Griffin how he became a priest and why he never mentioned it before; he asks how well she knows Nathan West.  Kiki tries to tell Killon that there is no chance for them – Morgan needs her, she says – she pleads his case.  Carly is worried about Morgan; he wants to talk to Dillon.  She goes for a walk; sees Kiki and Dillon kissing.  She tells him she can’t do this; he promises to still be her friend, but begs her to think about what he has said.

Alexis promises Julian that if she ends up going to prison for his crime, she will give Sam custody of the baby and make sure he never sees it.  He swears he still loves her; says they need to fix things (rethink what happens from now on).  Morgan goes to see his dad; gives him the news.  Sonny is also concerned and reminds him that they have been here before.  Anna tells Griffin what she knows about Nathan; says she worked closely with him, he has an impressive record, has been decorated for heroism, has personally be kind to her and he’s great to Maxi.

So Griffin tells Anna how he allowed himself to be seduced by a woman he was counseling (so he broke his vows); she deceived him, it ended badly and everyone got hurt.  Then he says that was probably more than he should have said; tells her goodbye and wishes her well.  Carly confronts Kiki.  Alexis presses for a confession; Julian hands her a pregnancy test.  A memory of Griffin, and a hand with a ring on it, provide a hint that Claudette is still interested in Nathan.

Tuesday 06-28-2016

Nikolas tells Ava that he’s reconsidered taking her to Greece; says its too much of a risk, having Huxley still looking for her.  But after talking, the atmosphere changes.  They leave.  Alexis notices Julian come in – then the doorbell rings – it’s Sonny.  He asks her why she’s protecting Julian; Julian asks what he’s doing there.  Alexis tells Julian to leave, saying she will pack his things.  He does.

Sonny tells her that Julian would not hesitate to kill her; she claims she was trying to record him with her phone, to set him up.  She doesn’t believe he would kill her.  Sonny convinces her to rethink that belief…as he explains that there are some codes in the business and Julian doesn’t follow them; she tells Sonny she has to get a confession from Julian.  Lulu talks with Dante about Nikolas and if they think he is dead (he says yes); they go into the club to tell Sonny that they got the house they wanted because the other buyers backed out.  He calls Diane when they leave; tells her thanks for her help getting that house.  Nikolas and Ava seem to be getting along well now – he said she was easy to listen to… she says she has enjoyed being on the run with him; like a clean slate.  He admits that he has enjoyed her unexpected company.

Jason finds the barn and finds one of Ava’s ear rings on a bench; a fairly large man meets him at the door on his way out; tells him he’s not going anywhere.  A fight ensues.  Jason actually gets the guy’s gun from him, shoots him and ties him up (guess the shot wasn’t deadly).  He tells the man to give Huxley a message:  to leave Ava and Nikolas alone!  Cristina meets her boyfriend as she walks through the park, leaving a message on the phone for Parker – they talk about exes, kiss; she says she has to go.  Sonny confronts Julian; threatens him, saying he better leave Alexis alone… then tells him that she’s pregnant?!?

Monday 06-27-2016

Ava and Nikolas wake up on the floor of the barn, half naked.  Apparently, they finished the whole bottle of liquor Ava found.  Nikolas reassures her that nothing inappropriate happened.  Alexis asks Julian why he is there; he said he came to pack some things; Carlos says he needs to stay and kill her.  Julian says he doesn’t want to.  Dr. Finn sneaks into the hospital with Teddy, Michael and Tracy to do tests; Olbrecht forces her way in and they shove her in a closet.  She must have called police first, because next comes in Valeria and tells Dr. Finn he’s under arrest; Sabrina begs her to let him finish the test.  It could save her baby’s life; Valerie agrees.

As Sam and Jason decide what to do next to find Nikolas.  Julian makes some tea; Alexis tells him her case will be unbeatable. She says if he doesn’t confess, he will lose his children.  Sam decides she needs to go back to be with her mom; tells Jason to stay, though, and keep looking.  Nikolas tells Ava he is getting out of England; she asks to go with him.  He tries to blackmail her, but it doesn’t work.   Finn determines that Teddy has botcholism – he proceeds with treatment; Thank god, Teddy will be ok.  Carlos keeps insisting that Julian kills Alexis… comes up with several ways to do it.  Alexas goes to take a bath; Julian envisions himself drowning her in the tub; he heads upstairs.

Friday 06-24-2016

Finn demands copies of lab work on his patients; Felix says he’ll take care of it.  Just as he wishes for someone to brighten his day, Sabrina appears.  Tracy calls Finn to demand he still treat her; he says he might be able to come by for a cup of coffee.  He does; she tells him all of his patients need him.  Monica comes back for something she forgot and gets mad that he is there; tells him to leave.  Michael brings the baby down and says he is hot, acting lethargic; Finn says they need to take him to the hospital now.  Anna comes into the police station; there are flowers, from ‘Sawyer’ (her blind date that didn’t show).  He’s a surgeon and had an unexpected emergency.  She’s impressed it appears.  Diane shows up to represent Alexis; she asks her what happened.

Alexis explains; Diane says she will pull apart the evidence, question procedure, collection methods, etc., and will establish reasonable doubt.  Diane says it shouldn’t be any trouble getting her released on bail; Mayor Lomax walks in and calls Alexis a hypocrite.  (Diane reminds her of the assumption of innocence.)  The Mayor tells Paul he needs to make sure there is no bail; his attempts fail.  Bail is set at $10,000.00.  At Crimson, Sonny tells Julian he doesn’t want his daughter’s mother to rot in a cell for something he did; calls Julian a coward.  Julian goes home, where he sees Carlos.  Felix tells Sabrina she should try to make a life with Michael again; she looks shocked…. She tells him that she is afraid all he will ever see in “Teddy” is Carlos.

At the same time, Michael is telling his parents that he hopes he and Sabrina can have a future together.  At home, Carly tells Sonny she really wishes she could hate Sabrina, but she can’t.  Anna fills Sonny in on what happened in Court; Alexis plead not guilty and is headed home. Julian is there, getting drunk; Carlos tells Julian there is a way out… suggesting he take out Alexis.  He calls Julian a lapdog; says Alexis doesn’t love him.  Julian says she was the best thing that ever happened to him.  But in the end, Carlos says, Julian will do anything necessary to save himself.  Alexis walks in the door; Carlos stands behind her.

Anna sits at the bar, a nervous wreck, waiting for her ‘blind date’ to show; Paul sits down next to her.  She asks him to move; he does, but he says he wants to protect her (and thinks she kind of likes him).  Dillon comes into the office to find Nina looking through the package of sex toys; he wants to talk about Kiki.  He tells her how he bowed out gracefully, then asks if she’s getting back with Franco.  She admits she misses Franco.  He tells her she could do better; she tells him he should fight for Kiki.  Kiki goes to visit Morgan; tells him they need to “clear the air” (to figure out what they are to each other).  He tells her he wishes he hadn’t pushed her away… and asks for another chance.  Kiki decides to give it one more ‘go’ with Morgan.

Ava finally gets the door open; a large woman steps into the doorway.  She ‘tazes’ Ava and comes at her with a spear.  We are left hanging – what happened to Ava?  Jason and Sam follow a man to Lynch Manor, after overhearing something about having guests.  On the grounds, they catch Huxley, hear muffled screams and open the door to find Huxley’s mother, tied up on the floor.  Cute scene actually.  She says they tied her up and left about an hour ago; Jason and Sam decide to go after them, but Huxley says the manor is hopelessly isolated.   He offers to help, since his family has lived in the area for over 300 years, he knows it well; they can have Nikolas, and he keeps Ava to do with as he sees fit.  Jason says it sounds like a deal.  In a barn somewhere, Ava finds a bottle of liquor.

Anna’s date stands her up; Paul says that’s good for him.  She tells him to get some friends.  She then reminds him, although they were friendly once, just when she thinks she understands him, he shows how shallow and self-absorbed he has become.  She says, she liked the ‘old Paul’ – he says he’s still the same.  She tells him, she’ll have to see proof of that.  He asks if they can be friends, to which she replies, she’s not there yet.

After Franco kisses Elizabeth, she asks what he’s doing; he asks what she’s doing, and they both make a big deal out of it.  She asks herself why she would kiss him… Franco suggests maybe to make Jason jealous (if he ever found out).  She says he probably just wanted to stick it to Jason, both denying feeling anything whatsoever.  After a short spat, Elizabeth tells Franco that she sees the good in him – the compassion and empathy – but sometimes, he’s an overwhelming force to handle.  Franco tells her she helps him; says she calls him out on his nonsense and makes him feel like he can be better.  She smiles.  She tells him that maybe kissing her was just an excuse not to put in the hard work it would take to fix things with Nina; she says it’s clear as day that he still loves her.  He asks what her excuse for kissing him was – grieving, groping for support perhaps?  Whatever it was, it wasn’t about them; and it won’t happen again.  But, Franco tells her, she can still use his shoulder.

Wednesday 06-22-2016

Crimson gets a sex toy package.  Nina is at work, fantasizing about Franco (dressed up, tells her he still loves her…kisses her and clears the desk, laying her back gently).  Maxie wakes Nina, who is actually asleep at her desk – she has news on the new bridal line; starts talking about Nathan and how she will never be alone again, going on and on about her future.  Nina cries; she is afraid she will never find love again; regrets breaking up with Franco.  Maxie reminds her of all the problems they had, the baby thing, etc., but Nina says she’s accepted all that; he doesn’t want a baby, she can’t have one.  Maxie tries to encourage her, saying she can find someone else.  Nina says, all these naked men, and she can only think of Franco.

Elizabeth buys a toaster for their new house; by coincidence, Franco buys her a toaster for a housewarming gift.  Jake is sad; Franco talks to him about his dad – Elizabeth is impressed.  Franco talks about Nina then and admits that he is confused, terribly.  After he finishes venting, they sit down at the table; Elizabeth tells him he has been a good friend… she can see that he has changed.  Franco kisses her!  Morgan tells Kiki he was a jerk to break up with her; admits that Ava convinced him to… says he thinks he’s better or he wouldn’t be there (he wants to try again).  He tells Kiki she is all that kept him going; she is his light.  Dillon comes back from the drug store to find Morgan there; he tells Kiki to take her time to sort her feelings out; says they can hang out and tells her to text away.  He leaves.

Sam and Jason break into Ava’s room to find evidence; they find a card from an art broker – Sam calls and finds out Ava missed the appointment.  They discuss the possibility that Nikolas and Ava are having an affair.  Huxley comes back to the room where Ava and Nikolas are being held; he insists the statue is a fake; Ava swears she didn’t know.  Nikolas makes up a story… the fake was to sell to a broker; the original is in the hotel room.  Huxley goes to her room, not knowing Sam and Jason are there.  He finds nothing; they follow him.  Nikolas and Ava, left tied up, manage to get out of the ropes and Ava tries to pick the lock on the door.

Tuesday 06-21-2016

Nikolas and Ava are still being held against their will; as they argue with each other as to how to handle the situation, Huxley comes in with food.  Nikolas demands to know what is going on.  Huxley says Ava has a Greek 'figurine' called the Weeping Nyad, from the late archaic period, mid-nineteenth century; he wants it.  Ava tells him he can't have it.  She eventually gives him a case with a statue in it, but minutes later, he returns saying it's a fake.

Finn explains to Hayden that he is dying; says he made a serum and it was working, but is working less and less.  He tells her there is some at the hospital, in a package, waiting for him.  She offers to go get it.  Hayden finally puts it all together; Finn's wife died from this same illness... her dad bankrupted Finn's medical center foundation, ceasing research on this disease, causing the wife's death.  She apologizes.  Sonny brings Morgan home; Morgan admits to his family that he was scared.  Kiki and Dillon head out for their date; Kiki has a cold, and is sneezing and coughing.  Tells him he has been awesome and didn't want to blow it - he tells her she can't; he kisses her.  She has a coughing fit; he goes to the drug store.  Morgan is on his way to see Kiki.

Julian comes to see Alexis, currently being held in the interrogation room.  She tells him she is not speaking without an attorney and he knows she set her up.  He remarks, "no evidence..." and shrugs his shoulders.  She tells him he missed a spot of blood when he wiped off the knife.  He swears he didn't set her up, but tells her she should confess to avoid going to prison.  She refuses.  He says there's another way; she can stand trial and be acquitted - he thinks that way, they will still stand a chance.  She tells him they are done.  Ana comes back in and tells Alexis that she knows she didn't do it and she wants her help convicting the person who did.

Monday 06-20-2016

Dr. Finn wakes up on his couch, to find Hayden in his room; she explains that he passed out, and she took care of Roxy.  He thanks her for sticking around.  Franco tells Elizabeth there is talk about an unknown killer in the hospital; he discusses similar patients and possible reasons why – Elizabeth gets nervous hearing him talk about it.

Ana says something doesn’t feel right… Olivia says Julian missed an appointment at the preschool.  Alexis has no alibi for the night of Carlos’ murder; Nathan reads Alexis her rights and she goes with him willingly.

Maxie walks in on Griffin half naked, again; she is looking for more men for the next Crimson issue.  Nina asks Franco to pose naked for the ‘real men’ issue; he declines.  Alexis refuses to talk without an attorney.  Finn asks Hayden to run an errand for him; she demands to know what’s going on with him almost dying.  He gets his notebook, checks his pulse; tells Roxy, he doesn’t know how much longer he can do this.  He looks worried.

Nina tells Franco she wants to have sex with him; he tells her he’ll think about it, but he’s really not interested now.  Ana asks to talk to Alexis; explains she is after Julian, not her.  Sonny goes to Crimson to find Julian; tells him Alexis has been arrested.

Friday 06-17-2016

There is a new actor playing the role of Nikolas now; looks nothing like him, but does a pretty good with the gestures and attitude of the Nikolas we know and love.  This morning, we find Ava and Nikolas getting a tour of “Lynch Manor” – apparently the man tricked them, arranging to be her ride to the airport, and took them there instead.  He introduces himself as Mr. Huxley and invites them to sit down and enjoy themselves; tells them they are “locked in”.  Ava tries to make a call; he tells her there is no phone signal where they are.  Sam and Jason arrive at the hotel where they believe this forger is staying; “Mr. Carr” has checked out.

As Laura and Kevin talk, Spencer chimes in with “can one person every really know another?”  He sneaks off and secretly makes a call to his father; tells him he’s got his back – he should win an Oscar.  Kevin calls Laura to tell her that he found ‘Lloyd and Lucy Johnson’.  Curtis comes to meet with Nina about a possible photo shoot for the ‘real men’ issue; Julian comes in and interrupts.  Nina asked why he lied to the cops about the night Carlos died.  She recalls that night and the stain on his shirt, then reminds him that he owes her for her silence.  She tells him to get naked and get down on all fours (she wants to do an article on ‘objectifying men’).  Julian agrees to Nina’s terms, and says she’s made her point.

Maxie finally tells Nathan that she is sorry; she has realized that one mistake does not define him, and she still wants to marry him.  Sonny tells Paul that Anna needs to be present when they take down Julian; Paul invites her to join the interrogation of Julian.  She questions his ‘angle’, asking what his alterior motive is.  He tells her they “have the killer in the crosshairs – Duke will get justice.”  Sonny goes to visit Alexis; she tells him that she kicked Julian out.  He tells her to tell him to come home; he wants to watch the arrest.  Julian calls Alexis; tells her he is coming home and expects a “warm welcome.’  Cristina comes home and asks what’s going on – Alexis rushes her out the door to work.  Paul shows up; tells Sonny they found evidence (traces of blood on the knife) and DNA results.

Sam finds a note of Nikolas’ scheduled flight to Ammsterdam, which she finds out he missed.  Ava tells Nikolas that they should jump Huxley; Nikolas says no.  Huxley tells them he can’t allow them to leave…he says they have only just begun.  Nikolas offers to stay if he lets Ava go; Huxley says, it’s Ava he wants.  Sonny tells Alexis she got out just in time; but then, Nathan arrests Alexis for Carlos’ murder.  Her prints are on the dagger.

Thursday 06-16-2016

Jordan isn’t quite sure how to respond to the “I love you” from Andre – she doesn’t really believe him.  She responds with a “thank you” and kisses him.  Monica demands an answer from Finn, but he continues to refuse.  Monica bars him from practicing any further medicine at the hospital.  While Curtis is talking to Valerie, Hayden tells him she needs to talk to him (she asks him for a loan; or, rather, to co-sign on some papers).  Jason and Sam talk, still laying in bed; she mentions how she likes being on the run – it kind of turns her on (ok).

Felix is promoted to a paid intern.  Nikolas questions Ava; he’s curious about how she ended up on the same plane, and now at the same hotel.  Sam gets news from Spenelli; is going to check out the info (breaks into a pawn shop).  Ava tells Nikolas she wants him to eat dinner with her and asks why a dead man walking would leave his son.  When Monica tells Tracy she had no choice but to suspend Dr. Finn, Tracy gets mad.  T.J introduces Molly to Curtis.  Later, TJ overhears Curtis telling Jordan that Shaun is really his father; TJ asks Molly to live with him.  Curtis tells Jordan he wants to be a cop again; but she is worried he might start using again under the pressure of the job.  Finn now has Roxy in the bar; he happens to meet Hayden there.  The man from the plane interrupts Ava and Nikolas at their table in the hotel bar; he sits down at the table with them.  He invites them both to dinner at his mansion; Nikolas declines.  Nikolas has a plane ready to go at 6am; Ava offers to give him ride to the plane.  The man overhears.

Sam is caught while breaking into the pawn shop.  The shop owner has a gun – tells Sam to “be friendly”; she knocks him down just as Jason arrives.  Jason holds the gun on him while Sam gets the info they need off of his computer.  Jason gets a car to get to the airport and Sam got passports; they are off to London.  Finn isn’t feeling well again; asks Hayden to help him back to his hotel room.  He wakes up on his couch with Hayden still there, looking at Roxy; she says she loves her, put her up and fed her while he slept.

Wednesday 06-15-2016

There’s a surprise party for Valerie and all the other police academy graduates.  Jordan makes a toast to the new cadets… saying they have made a deep commitment and sacrifice, and makes special mention of Valerie being in the top ten percent of her class, even with reason to quit.  Dante and Lulu get a call from the realtor; someone overbid them.  Sonny hears this and calls in a favor.  Carly tells Sonny about Lucas’ wedding, then they discuss what to do about Jos’ transplant mystery.  Monica asks Dr. Finn to submit to a drug test and he refuses; she tells him they looked into his locker and found his ‘pouch’ (questions what it is for).  He won’t tell her.

Carly lets Elizabeth in on the mystery of the kidney transplant and asks her if she would like to know where Jake’s kidney really went, since it didn’t go to Joslyn.  She then warns Elizabeth not to get involved with Franco; tells her he will hurt her; Elizabeth swears they are just friends.  Olbrecht tells Franco that she would take a piece of artwork as an apology; Franco asks apology for what?  Elizabeth is interviewed by Felix about the missing drugs from the dispensary.

Anna is mad that Jordan is not letter her in on the investigation… Andre tells Ana Jordan feels bad about it.  He then admits to Anna that he does have feelings for her (but says he wants nothing from her because he’s with Jordan). He says he has to end their friendship; Anna thinks they could still be friends, but he says he is not strong enough.  Curtis has a present for Valerie; a lucky quarter that saved his life.  Dante gets another call; the other buyer just pulled out – they can have the house.  Sonny tells Diane, “nice work” (she secretly added a bonus to the seller on their offer).  Andre goes back to Jordan and tells her he loves her.

Tuesday 06-14-2016

Felicia catches Emma making a dating profile up for her mom.  Jordan tells Anna she is taking her off of Julian’s case; could compromise the investigation – Anna is mad.  Andre arrives and tries to calm her.  She goes home.  Jason recalls the lock number on an old gun case of his; they are going to see the ‘passport man’ so he wants to be cautious.  The man says it’s going to take some time to get the passport ready as he goes to check his I.D.  Jason looks around, while Sam gets on the computer (she finds three possibilities for fake names Nikolas might have used).  Jason has another recollection of a time before when they were on the run.

Ava takes a selfie picture with Nikolas, who is using the last  name “Carradinne” and is wearing a full beard – she tells him she won’t tell anyone he is alive.  She asks if he has taken his son into account; he says he has left nothing to chance.  A man on the plan is listening intently.  This man approaches, thinks he knows Nikolas – a movie star, perhaps.  Ava plays along.

Julian tells Alexis it sounds like she still loves him; she denies it, telling him she is divorcing him.  She says he’s hurt her beyond belief and she can’t take one more day with him.  He suggests counseling; she laughs.  She says he is fundamentally incapable of loving someone; when he killed Carlos, he killed them, she says.  She tells him she never wants to see him again; he says he won’t accept that.  He tells her they have a contract and she is an asset to him; she says a contract predicated on a lie is null and void… she says she is done.  Tells him that her life is a mess because of him; he agrees to go to a motel for now, but says he will be back.  They will never divorce; when he said it, he meant, “till death do us part.”  At home, Anna tells Felicia she thought she was at peace, finally…may be ready to move on.  Felica encourages her to use the dating profile Emma made and start getting out there – but Anna isn’t really interested in that idea.

Jordan gets upset with Andre, claiming it looks like he has feelings for Anna; he denies it and she admits being jealous.  He reassures her with a long, passionate kiss.  Ava apologizes to Nikolas, then tells him he owes her a favor for covering for him with that guy.  The man invites them both to dinner, but Nikolas declines.  The man makes a phone call; he says, “guess who I just saw.”

Monday 06-13-2016

Sam tells Jason that Dante is suspicious; they wonder what he found.  Possibilities?  A forger’s name, a fake passport?  At Wydemere, Hayden’s mom hugs her (Hayden does not hug her back); it is almost sincere… her mom makes light of the situation.  Hayden tells her she loved Nikolas; there was a real sexual chemistry – shows her mom a picture of him.  Her mom comments that the ‘bad boys’ are always best in bed.  Alexis threatens to leave the house if Julian doesn’t; Julian begs her not to.  The wedding party starts to arrive, so she calms down and agrees to let Julian stay.

Ava shows up and tells Julian that the cops are looking for him.  He promises her everything will be okay and says he will protect her at all costs… tells her to take a trip, somewhere overseas.  She tells him to enjoy the wedding.  Carly begins to call out Alexis for her hypocrisy and tells her the more she protects Julian, the worse it will be.  Alexis cannot explain herself at this time.

Maxie goes to talk to Griffin; says she needs a priest.  She tells him what Nathan did (shooting this man years ago); Griffin says he probably acted in the heat of the moment.  Tells her she should forgive him; she says it sounds like he’s making excuses for him… she’s not sure she can let it go.  He tells her he was likely “blinded by jealousy” and he is sure he has changed.  Griffin tells Maxie, “one action, one mistake, does not define a man” (he is sure he has probably punished himself enough by now).  Nathan comes home; Spenelli has a talk with him about Maxie.  He explains that it is hard for her to invest her heart, to trust anyone, because it has been shattered so many times.  He tells Nathan this is all on him – shame on him.  Nathan gets a call; a search Warrant has been issued for Alexis’ house.  Spenelli goes to see Sam and Jason… he helps them hack into Nikolas’ computer and finds out where he is headed.  (He is on a plane with Ava, by coincidence.)   Spenelli can’t believe Nikolas left his whole family here to grieve him.

The FBI shows up at Wyndemere; turns out they found fingerprints on the diamond that was sold by Nikolas… Hayden’s mom tells the agents to back off, saying her daughter just lost her husband.  She explains that Hayden helped her get the diamonds appraised; then tells Hayden she owes her after she’s done grieving.  Julian leaves for a short time and comes back with flowers.  The preacher is asked to keep it short and sweet – they begin.  The police knock on the door and show the search Warrant; Carly looks anxious.  Lucas and Brad go ahead and say their vows as the search goes on – it was actually very sweet – something to the effect of “…love me even when I fail, because I will not be perfect, but we are perfect for each other.”  Carly gives them a honeymoon suite at the Metro Court for a present.  Nathan finds the knife.

Thursday 06-09-2016

Griffin discharges Lucas from the hospital; Lucas kind of gets mad at him for not telling everyone that he was a minister.  Griffin explains that he was on an official leave of absence; he had some issues he needed to work out.  Lucas questions him as to his stance on ‘gays’ – Griffin assures him no condemnation on his part.  He admits that his faith and the church don’t always agree.

Laura holds a memorial gathering for Nikolas; Dante, Lulu, Spencer and Emma are there.  Spencer and Emma talk; he tells her, matter-of-factly, “it’s better to accept than to keep on hoping.”  Dante tries to talk to him, but Spencer ignores him.  Alexis is appalled at the thought that Julian expects their marriage to continue after this; she tells him he cannot have it both ways.  He leaves, with the shirt.  She calls Diane.  Jason and Sam, at Wyndemere, discuss their plan to find Nikolas.

Elizabeth and Hayden call a truce; Hayden’s mom walks in, saying she wants her diamonds.  Hayden tells her to leave.  Spenelli shows up to see Maxie; Nathan is telling Maxie he regrets lying to her - Maxie says they are done.  Nathan leaves.  Maxie offers Spenelli coffee, then tells him that “catastrophe” is her middle name… she fells him in on everything.  Dante Lucas calls Alexis and asks if he and Brad can have their wedding, at her house, tonight.  She says yes, of course.  Julian comes back from destroying the shirt; Alexis asks what he’s doing there.  He says he thought they were still together; she tells him he “thought wrong”.

Wednesday 06-08-2016

Alright everyone... apologies again.  My own personal soap opera has gotten in the way; I finished my residency in Georgia, then traveled on to Florida to see my mother.  Had a wonderful time, three very relaxing and enjoyable days, then made the trek back home to Texas.  For two weeks, my mom told me how much she missed me, wanted me to come back, etc.  It was so nice to have reconnected with her, after she declared me dead last year (on Mother's Day) for forgetting to check the oil in the 2003 Mazda she had given me, as partial payment for work I did on her Duncannville house in 2014.  The engine threw a rod after I'd had it only six months.  With that behind us, we were in a good place again, even though she never apologized for declaring me dead; I forgave her, because I love her.

However, two weeks ago, everything changed again.  My daughter, who has been fostering a sibling set of three (two brothers and a sister) for the past year and a half, sent a text on our group thread, telling us that the children were being put up for adoption - their biological parents are both in jail for killing their last baby while high on Meth, and the grandparents have not been able to pass classes to prove their ability to care for the kids.  Now, for the past year or so, we have had discussions between the three of us about how these kids needed to stay with Kasey... but somehow my mother remained oblivious to those conversations and when Kasey said the paperwork will be finalized in August for the adoption, my mother asked, "what adoption?"  Kasey replied, "the one that's going to let the kids stay with me."  All of the sudden, everything changed.  My mom accused my daughter and I of scheming behind her back - she agreed to 'let' Kasey foster while living in this home, but, she said, she did NOT agree to adoption!  I asked when a granddaughter had to get permission from her grandmother to have children; my mom's response was to shut off my phone.

The last hold my mother had over me was the fact that she paid for my phone; I now have my own account and am no longer under her thumb (which upsets her).  I can take her abusing me and look past it (it's nothing new...she has been this way my entire life), but when she started being ugly to my daughter, and threatening to put my grandchildren at risk, she crossed the line.  My daughter's name is on the Deed, along with my mother and step-father; she did that, so that in the event of their death, the house could go straight to Kasey without probate.  She loved my daughter so much - reminds her so much of my deceased sister, its frightening - bragged about how smart, and beautiful and talented she is all the time; and now, because she's butt-hurt about not being 'consulted' prior to Kasey committing to adopt those kids, she's going to be hateful, saying things she doesn't mean, hurling insults, and ruin our relationships supposedly forever??  Whatever.

Back to General Hospital... Sonny and Ava meet at the park - he wants to talk to her about Avery, but they end up talking about Morgan.  Ava begins belittling Sonny (says he uses Carly as a crutch); not much of a role model for Morgan. Sonny blames her for confusing Morgan and playing games with him; he tells her they are releasing him today.  Andre talks to Morgan, who went back to the hospital after the 4th of July celebration; he thinks he is ready for outpatient treatment.  But Morgan doesn't want to leave the hospital; he says he feels like a freak.  Andre encourages him; he believes this is best for him.  When Sonny goes to see him, Morgan accuses Sonny of interfering in his life.  Sabrina goes in with Michael for questioning, fully cooperating; she admits to going with Carlos freely, but says she was then was held hostage when she wanted to leave.

Alexis begins to panic; she tells Julian that she had thought about turning him in, but she changed her mind - she was going to destroy the shirt.  He tells her they should do it together...he turns ugly and somewhat violent; says he knows she was turning on him and he will retaliate if she makes one more mistake. Then he apologizes and begs her to tell him that their marriage still has a chance.  Alexis looks terrified, but stands up to him, telling him he has been a liar the entire time.

Anna demands that Paul release Sabrina; she knows her, her baby is here and she is not a flight risk.  Paul agrees; Sabrina thanks Anna.  Tracy shows Dillon pictures of the baby; Dillon is concerned about her attachment to 'little Edward' but she defends her actions.  When they get home, Tracy talks Sabrina into moving in with her so she can be close to the baby.  Kiki tells Ava about Dillon (that they have gotten close) but tells her she isn't rushing into anything.  Ava starts to get too motherly and Kiki pulls back; they discuss keeping their conversation more general.
