08-31-2016 (Wednesday)

Franco confronts Hayden, in front of Finn, accusing her of wanting Elizabeth dead; he tells Finn that Liz has something on Hayden that could put her in jail for a very long time.  Hayden fills Finn in on the history between her and Liz and he realizes the she would be better off if Elizabeth died.  He mentions this; she is offended that he would think she could have something to do with hurting Elizabeth.  She says she's pissed to think that he could think such a thing; he asks what else he is supposed to think right now.  Griffin finds a full syringe in the garbage can of the locker room; he tells Monica.  She sends the syringe to the lab to find out what is in it.

Alexis sits at the bar, Julian walks up behind her… she is terrified and fumbles with her phone as she backs away from him; he continues to tell her how much he loves her and that they will be together again.  Then, suddenly, it is Tracy who is standing there, not Julian; Alexis tells Tracy that she has been having ‘waking dreams’ of Julian haunting her.  Tracy assures her it will get better, but says testifying against Julian is the first step.  She walks away to take a phone call and Julian whispers in Alexis’ ear that she won’t be able to testify against him.  She shivers.  She stands up and yells at him; Tracy gets her attention and tells her she needs to go home and get herself together, so she can show up in court at take Julian down.

Griffin talks to Franco in the hallway; he seems to believe that Franco is sincere about his feelings for Elizabeth.  Jordan comes to see Elizabeth; Monica tells her she is now a patient; she fills Jordan in on the details.  Ava calls a meeting with Paul; she tells him about her meeting with Jordan and how she recognized the cufflink.  She also tells him that she spent some time in his hotel room last night; he stutters.  She tells him the cufflinks were nowhere to be found, but shows him the medicine case she did find.  She tells him he is finished if she turns it in; he asks what she wants.  She tells him, first, that he remains silent about her shooting Connie, not bothering to ask for the tape back because he’s likely made copies; she tells him that she wants him to set her brother free.

As Franco sits, talking to her, Liz wakes up; Franco tells her how scared he was when he found her lying there.  She remembers a little bit, but seems fuzzy about the details; she remembers trying to get her phone out to use as a flashlight.  She remembers feeling someone push her back; then recalls that she was going home to get the diamonds to turn into the police – and had just told Hayden so.  Franco tells her that when he found her, Hayden was standing over her.  As Jordan questions Hayden about why she was in the stairwell, and where she was just before the power failure, Finn speaks out and says she was with him; they were talking.  Jordan tells him she will be in contact; when she leaves Hayden asks why he didn’t tell her what he knows about her and Elizabeth.  He tells her that he doesn’t believe she did this; she smiles.  Elizabeth starts freaking out, kind of; Jordan, standing just outside of her room, overhears her saying that Hayden tried to kill her.

08-30-2016 (Tuesday)

When another patient dies, as Andre is counseling them, the hospital is put back on high alert; Andre is momentarily a suspect.  Maxie is so upset over Nathan getting stranded with Claudette, and his inability to be able to tell her that he has absolutely no feelings for Claudette and his reaction to seeing Griffin and Claudette kissing, she has moved back in with Felicia and Mac; as she pulls all of her pictures off of her ‘dream board’, getting ready to burn them, Felicia tells her to stop.  She tells her mom she cannot get over the way Nathan went after Griffin; it was obvious that he is still in love with her.  Felicia tells her she has a hold on Nathan; when Maxie replies, “so does Claudette,” Felicia says, “then break it.”  Nathan talks to his sister; she tells him, she understands how Maxie feels, even though he didn’t “do the act.”  She tells him he has do something to convince Maxie that he is through with Claudette for good; he goes to meet Maxie, and brings his old wedding ring, making the grand gesture of throwing it out the door into the darkness.  It works; Maxie tells him that white gold ring didn’t suit him anyways; he needs a ‘titanium’ one.  The wedding is back on.

Ava remembers being in bed with Paul as he put his shirt back on; she made note of the cufflinks.  The scene flashes back to the stairwell; as the hospital lights go out, for unknown reasons, Liz drops her keys, bends down to pick them up, and Paul shoves her down the staircase.  As Hayden tries to leave the hospital, finding the elevator out of order, and taking the staircase, she happens upon Elizabeth.  She just stands there, looking down at her; Franco comes looking for Elizabeth.  Hayden calls out to him, still just standing on the stairs.  Liz wakes up for a few seconds and then passes out again; Franco tells Hayden to go get help.  She runs into Paul in the hallway; he pretends to be surprised to hear that Liz is hurt.  Hayden gets back to Monica and Finn, who just found out why the power went out (the box has been tampered with; wires pulled out), and tells them Elizabeth is hurt and needs help.  Monica can’t find Monroe; she calls for an emergency response team.

Claudette catches Griffin in the locker room, coming out of the shower; she holds his underwear hostage to tease him.  She tells him they have to talk about the way he kissed her; she says it proved that she isn’t far from his thoughts… that he still loves her.  He tells her when he looks at her, all he feels is the bullet tearing through his flesh and the scar it left behind.  As Elizabeth is tended to by the doctors, Paul tells Hayden he needs to talk to her; meanwhile Ava is searching through his room, looking for the cufflink.  She finds a small medicine bag behind the nightstand; it has syringes and vials of Derisifol inside of it.  As Maxie and Nina talk in front of Perks, they each get a text message giving them the good news; they hug, saying they are going to be related.  As Monica looks for another member of the staff, Paul stalks her from behind, with a syringe in hand.

08-29-2016 (Monday)

Lulu is on a desperate mission to find out if her embryo might have survived the explosion at Criton-Clarke, but she is making her first inquiries without Dante’s knowledge.  When Robert stops by their house to tell Lulu that her father is alive and well, she asks him to look into whether or not there was a possibility that one embryo was recovered – it is her last chance to have a child that is biologically hers, she says.  Dante does not look all too happy about the fact that she is asking.  (Wouldn’t this be biologically Starvros’ child too?  He is the one who created it, using her egg…and his sperm, I would assume.  So I don’t understand why she would even want it.)  They have made no mention of the fact that this child would not be Dante’s biological child; still, Dante tells her, whatever she wants to do, he will support her.

As Franco talks with his mother, he gets her to confess her secret to him… after an awkward game of hypothetical questions and ‘it’s possible/ it’s not possible’ answers, Heather reveals that Elizabeth’s father was having an affair with Naomi Berlin (Hayden’s mother) and got her pregnant some time just before Elizabeth was born.  Hayden and Elizabeth are sisters; Franco gets up, saying he has to go tell Elizabeth, but Heather tells him he absolutely cannot.  Hayden goes to confront Elizabeth about the diamonds; she even slaps Elizabeth across the face!  Liz faces her with courage, and ultimately tells her she is going to turn them into the police.  Hayden tells Finn that he should stay out of her business, when he questions what was going on between her and Elizabeth, reminding him that he was the one who said they were no longer friends.  He apologizes; tells her that he was out of line…angry and he shouldn’t have taken it out on her.  She looks confused.

Jordan calls Ava, to get her expert advice about the antique coin-cufflink, which could potentially lead them to the killer.  As she and Ava study the photo, they both say that they feel as if they have seen it on someone close to them  before; Elizabeth goes to talk to Monica.

Oh, wow… Paul is the killer; he is standing in Monica’s office, alone, when Elizabeth walks in, and he is holding a syringe.  He panics after she excuses herself, and goes after her; finding her on the stairs, he pushes her from behind.  She falls down at least a dozen steps and is bleeding, as she lays on the landing now.  He exits the scene.

08-26-2016 (Friday)

Sonny demands that Alexis tell him what is going on, since this picture of her grabbing his daughter is plastered all over the internet.  She assures him it was nothing – one incident that was taken out of context; Sonny asks what she’s going to do to make it right.  Kevin tries to call, but Laura does not answer; Robert shows up at her door.  Alexis goes to visit Julian; he tells her he doesn’t have much hope because D.A. Hornsby and that man is hungry to be Port Charles’ number one crime fighter. Ava tells him he needs to toughen up and fight this, or give it up and make Sonny’s day.  Paul is having lunch with Tracy, and attempting to talk to Dillon, but Dillon wants nothing more to do with him and tells him they can reschedule this family meeting for a more convenient time, like may never.  Although Paul will not apologize for his ambition, he tells Dillon that he loves him and will do whatever is necessary for him (but then he gets a text from Ava, and says he has to go).

Robert tells Laura that he got a call from Luke about ten hours ago…he says Luke was concerned because he had intercepted some information about what happened on Cassadine Island.  Laura asks why he came all this way to deliver this message; he tells her Luke also sends a warning.  He tells her Luke is worried about Valentene.  Even though he is on his way to prison in Greece, supposedly, Luke fears Laura and Spencer may still be in danger and wants her to increase security.  Franco brings Elizabeth some toast, with jelly (in a smiley face); “brain food” he calls it, because he knows she’s had a lot on her mind.  Naomi (Hayden’s mom) goes to see Heather; she says she doesn’t appreciate being black-mailed… Heather says she doesn’t care.  Naomi begs her to give her more time, but Heather remains hardened; she tells Naomi she better pay up, or else.  Franco, now standing behind Heather, asks, “or else what?”  Naomi excuses herself and Franco sits down.  As Franco and his mother talk, Heather admits to him that she knows something about Naomi and her little brat; Naomi has been paying her for years to keep silent, but recently stopped the payments.  Franco offers to be her personal ATM, but he wants details.

Alexis explains the situation to Sonny, tells him to be there for their daughter because obviously she is frozen out; she says she is fully prepared to testify against Julian, adding that the man is deranged thinking he can get her back (Sonny laughs and says he knows what he needs to do now and tells Alexis to keep her eye on the prize and be on her game so that can bring Julian down).  Sonny goes to see Julian and tells him to spare Alexis the humiliation of testifying about him trying to kill her, and Sonny will offer his protection while he’s in prison.  Robert stops Paul on his way to talk to Ava and asks how the case against Julian is going – Hayden asks Laura to tell Spencer goodbye for her because she is not good at goodbyes.

Paul meets with Ava; she tells him that she thinks she can convince her brother to plead guilty in exchange for consideration at sentencing.  He tells her he will not make a deal with Julian, but he will make a deal with her – tells her he wants her to bury him, with the truth that he ordered the hit on Lavery and murdered Carlos Rivera…or he files another case, against her, for murdering Connie (he still has the flashdrive).  Kristina admits to her mother that she was right, and says she is totally lost; Alexis says that she is totally lost right now, too, except that she knows she has a wonderful daughter.  Kevin comes to see Laura; she has her bags packed.  Ava runs into Hayden at the bar; she tells Hayden that Elizabeth has her diamonds.

08-25-2016 (Thursday)

Kevin and Laura wake up in bed; he asks if she has any regrets.  She says of course not, and kisses him; they get up and get dressed; he says he’s going down to get coffee and then they can decide where to go to breakfast – or if they should just go back to bed.  When he leaves, Laura accidentally knocks a file off the desk; she picks it up and sees a letter from a publisher, and a manuscript.

Jordan talks to Alexis… not happy about the story that has been published online by the gossip site, TMI.  She tells Alexis this could harm the case against Julian; after Alexis leaves, Andre shows up and Jordan confesses to him that she used to work undercover with the DEA and she has a vendetta against Julian Jerome for consuming half her life.  Andre doesn’t look certain how to process all that.  Sonny and Carly are having breakfast with Sam and Jason.  Jason tells them about the upcoming wedding; Carly offers to host it at her house and help put everything together – she promises to keep it small, and simple, as they wish for it to be.  They accept her offer.

Jason asks Sonny to be his best man; Sam goes to her mother's and asks Alexis to be her “best girl” (matron of honor).  Kristina goes to see Parker; she finds her along her usual jogging path on the campus.  Parker is surprised to see her and denies having tried to call; looks at her phone and says she must have accidentally pocket-dialed her.  She apologizes.  Kristina begins to leave, and Parker tells her she wants to talk to her anyway; they sit down.  Parker tells her she has been thinking of her, and that she is still attracted to her; Kristina thinks this means they still have a chance and reaches out to her.  Parker pushes her away and tells her she doesn’t understand; she apologizes for how she broke up with Kristina but says it was still for the best – she tells Kristina that she is going back to her wife.  Kristina gets angry, saying she lied to her, used her to have a fling and return to a marriage she never intended to leave; tells Parker she never wants to see her again.

Kevin comes back to the motel room with the coffee to find Laura sitting at the desk, reading his manuscript; she confronts him, asking why this is a story about her (a woman looking for her long-lost husband, following clues, from a dead woman).  He explains, it started out as a non-fiction book about old cases he’d worked on…got the publishing deal in early 2015; been stalled for over a year, when she inspired him.  But instead of being flattered (being an inspiration), Laura becomes angry, assumes he wasn’t even going to tell her, dismisses the entire night together as some ploy of his and tells him goodbye, leaving in a huff.

Nelle comes to pick up Avery to babysit for the day and gets a phone call from her supervisor, telling her that the clinic is being shut down; she is losing her job.  Sonny comes to see Alexis.

08-24-2016 (Wednesday)

Lulu and Dante are in bed – well, a mattress on the floor of their new house – smiling and imagining their new baby (girl)… they muse about their new life, in their new home, with their children.  Elizabeth comes into Franco’s apartment, saying if she was thinking rationally, she wouldn’t be there, but she needed to talk to someone.  He asks about what, and she shows him the diamonds; she describes how she found them.  Franco is playful and cute in his responses, as she gave all the details of the events and Nikolas’ death; she mentions that Ava was there and showed up earlier to offer her condolensces.  She explains her quandary; what to do with them, since Nikolas stole them from Hayden and she stole it from the government (having hidden it during the raid of her father’s belongings) and they really should be turned over to the FBI.  If she turns them in, Hayden goes to prison; she’s not sure she can live with that.  Franco says she should do it, then questions why she came to him, of all people, with a moral dilemma.

Olbrecht sneaks into the lab when Finn steps out; she looks at his journal, and assumes he is trying to invent a new party drug to rival ectascy and threatens to report him; she swipes his phone..  Lulu gets the phone call from Dr. Lee that she was waiting for – except it’s not the news they were hoping for; their embryo is not viable anymore.  She is upset that she won’t get to experience being pregnant and having their child. She cries.  Hayden’s mom is still trying to convince her to go away with her; Hayden thinks maybe she has a reason to stay and goes to see Finn.  He’s an ass to her and ends up running her off – for her own good, he says.

Elizabeth confesses to Franco that she knew he’d be there for her, that she knew she could trust him, that he wouldn’t judge her or condemn her – or hurt her – she tells him that she was once raped and it changed her forever; still, she admits that she is having the same feelings for him as he has for her; tells him Jake even says, he makes her happy… they kiss.  Hayden’s mom receives a phone all from Heather Webber.

Finn comes into Olbrecht’s office and catches her listening to his phone; she says she has heard more than enough.  He takes it back and tells her if she makes a move against him, he will kill her with his bare hands.  A reporter, Roger, from some gossip news show approaches Alexis, as she sits down to have lunch with her girls… she runs him off, he says he will go with no comment.  The girls ask if the bar really took her license away and she explains the suspension to them; they sit down for lunch, talking about her career and Julian, but the conversation turns to Cristina’s relationship with Parker and they begin to fight.  The reporter is recording it all on his phone from across the patio.

Pics Mix 1966-2016

This is an interesting mixture of pictures from years past to present, that I just found because my father mentioned watching Jack Wagner golf all the time... I went what?  My dad tells me HE used to be a General Hospital fan back in the day!  He remembered Jack Wagner's name, but couldn't remember what role he played on GH - I'm like, I know that I know that name - I could picture his character, but couldn't remember his character name!  So, of course, I Googled it:  https://www.google.com/search?q=jack+wagner+general+hospital&rlz=1C1WPZB_enUS675US675&espv=2&biw=1600&bih=775&tbm=isch&imgil=0SSxJUZ-SHxvAM%253A%253BFjQ0C5i8QBH7kM%253Bhttp%25253A%25252F%25252Fwww.biography.com%25252Fpeople%25252Fjack-wagner-20985283&source=iu&pf=m&fir=0SSxJUZ-SHxvAM%253A%252CFjQ0C5i8QBH7kM%252C_&usg=__GJGm9JonXNSKPqUBxEattxqahf0%3D&ved=0ahUKEwjUxOL3xtvOAhVKwWMKHV6gAIMQyjcIjQE&ei=gFy-V9SEIsqCjwPewIKYCA#imgrc=_

Interestingly, I found a picture of a 'tweet' Jack posted, obviously not so long ago, about the "50th" being somewhat of a disappointment... and apologizing to GH fans - maybe he would enjoy my blog!

08-23-2016 (Tuesday)

Ava dumps Morgan’s entire bottle of pills in her purse, and changes them out for some different pills (that don’t even look the same).  At Perks, Morgan restrains himself, even though this man had punched him in the stomach, he does not hit the man back (comes close, but doesn’t).  The police arrive; Morgan had already called them, and they escort the pretentious ass to his car.  Sonny talks to Morgan about the way he handled the situation; compliments him and tells him he’s proud of him.

Carly begs Nelle to stay and be Avery’s nanny, temporarily at least… Nelle seems hesitant (although I feel like she is setting this up).  Carly calls and talks to her current boss, and Nelle agrees to stay.  Ava comes down and tells Nelle to let Carly know that Avery was sleeping so peacefully, she has decided to leave her for the night.  Nina comes to Franco’s to pick up the rest of her things; he has them boxed up for her – it is obvious that they still care for each other.  He invites her to stay and have a sandwich; they talk.  Nina tells him he is a good person, good at reaching people… he tells her he is proud of her for what she is done with the magazine and she has a right to be proud of herself.  She mentions, maybe too proud, fearing it may have clouded her judgment.  She tells him about her meeting with Valentene Cassadine.  She asks how he and Liz are doing; he says, every time they get close, he manages to be more of himself and says something to scare her.  She tells him, if it’s meant to be, it will work out; if not there is something better waiting for him.

Elizabeth brings the box inside and puts it on the coffee table; then Ava shows up at the door of Wyndemere (Elizabeth invites her in).  Liz says she didn’t realize she and Nikolas even knew each other, and Ava explains somewhat how they do; Elizabeth tells her there always seems to be something reminding her of him, as she reaches down and touches the box.  Ava talks her into opening it; it has a jacket and a shoe, found on Cassadine Island, and a note from the Post Master General, which says they were instructed to return the items to the family.  Ava asks if she might have the boot, as a sentimental reminder of their friendship.  Inside of the boot is the bag of diamonds (which Elizabeth implies Ava knew about).  Elizabeth tells Ava she is going to take the diamonds to the police; Ava does her best to talk her out of it.

After dinner, Laura and Kevin go back to his hotel room – and play video games; during their play, they come face to face, kiss and drop their controllers.  Kevin stops and gets up off the bed; Laura asks why… he says chivalry, adorable bashfulness… he says he doesn’t want her to regret anything.  He assures her he had no intent, when he invited her up to his room; she says neither did she, but she is sure it’s what she wants.  They begin kissing again.  Nina thanks Franco for the sandwich, and the conversation.  As she is leaving, Elizabeth appears around the corner; she almost leaves when she sees Nina, but Franco sees her.  She admits that she came there to talk to him.  Morgan gets home with his dad, goes to his room and gets a pill; he looks at it questioningly, but still takes it.

08-22-2016 (Monday)

Jordan comes home to find Andre in her apartment, naked…he is there, cooking her dinner in the buff.  After getting over the surprise, she tells him she wants something other than dinner.  Kevin and Laura are preparing for their date; Kevin runs into Lucy on the elevator.  She gives him a hard time, but ultimately tells him she is happy for him.  Carly invites Nelle over for dinner; Sonny gets called by Kiki to come make sure Morgan doesn’t get out of control, when a man comes on to Kiki at Perk’s.  The nanny goes to leave and drops her purse; Carly’s expensive earrings fall out and Carly immediately fires her.  Laura tells Elizabeth that Spencer wants to go to boarding school in France – something Nikolas supposedly set up before his death.  When she questions if she should let him go, Hayden says, “over my dead body,” asserting her rights as his setp-mother.

Laura argues that he might be safer there than in Port Charles, since they don’t know how much of a danger Valentene Cassidine is.  Hayden talks about having been sent to boarding school herself as a child, and says she never forgave either of her parents for it; her mother walks in, asking if that’s so.  Hayden suggests she and her mother go have dinner.  Jordan and Andre, in bed; Jordan is moaning…they are eating the food Andre cooked.  Funny.  She is looking through the files on the hospital killer; Andre recognizes the picture of the cuff link.  It’s an imperial Roman coin, 1st or 2nd century AD, he says.  Jordan says she has a feeling she knows who the cuff link belongs to – like the killer is right under her nose and she doesn’t even know it.  She asks Andre if he could help her get ‘inside their head.’  Andre gives a profile that describes half of the doctors on GH’s staff.

Hayden’s mom asks her to move back to the city with her; says she needs to get away from Port Charles and Elizabeth Webber.  Hayden asks why.  Her mom avoids saying anything about Elizabeth in particular, but tells her she needs to end the chapter of her life and close the door on Port Charles for good.  As Elizabeth exits Wyndemere, she finds a box in front of the door; it is from Cassadine Island, and addressed to Nikolas Cassadine.  When Ava goes upstairs to get Avery, she slips into Morgan’s bedroom, and again gets his bottle of pills in her hands.

08-19-2016 (Friday)

Kevin apologizes to Laura for the kiss; he thinks he overstepped his bounds.  Laura assures him that she didn’t mind at all.  He tells her that he has been sleepwalking for so long and she has woken him up; she laughs and tells him that he already told her that on the plane when he was delirious.  Well, he says, then she knows that it wasn’t just the fever and drugs talking.  She smiles.  Sam comes home from the funeral to see if her mom is okay; she sits down to tell her mom that she’s pregnant and gets nauseous and runs to the bathroom.

Jordan talks to Paul about the hospital killer case… he is pushing her for a lead; she says they don’t have any.  Curtis wants to get Valerie looked at but she is just worried about finding the person who took the cuff link.  Franco overhears them talking about catching the killer and steps in to the lab… Valerie assures Franco that when she knows anything for certain she will let him know.  She goes and tells Jordan they do have a lead now.  Valerie looks at samples of old coin cuff links and recognizes one like the one she found on the floor; Jordan tells her to go home and Curtis offers to take her.  As Curtis puts her to bed and says he is going to let her rest, Valerie stops him and tells him to stay; they make love.  Griffin and Claudette are making out; Maxie and Nathan walk in to see them.  Maxie starts to rant, asking Griffin if he even knows who this woman is – Nathan figures it all out in that moment.  Maxie is upset that Griffin never told her, after all she has told him about their problems, with him already knowing it all.  Griffin has nothing to say, until Nathan confronts him.  Then he points out that Nathan has some amends to make himself, for shooting an unarmed man.  He tells Nathan that he forgives him, and Nathan grabs him and pushes him up against the wall.  Maxie yells at him, telling him he can’t do this because he’s a cop.  Nathan stops and runs out of the room; Maxie tells Nathan his reaction in there proves that he is still in love with his ex-wife.

Griffin tells Claudette they cannot be together because it hurts too many people and he leaves the room.  Elizabeth is working when Jason brings Jake to her; he lets her know that he knows Sam is pregnant and they are getting married.  Elizabeth tells Jason that she is happy for him and wishes them nothing but the best.  He holds her hand and tells her that she will always be part of his family and it means the world to him to have her blessing.  Elizabeth begins to cry as he walks away, just as Franco walks by.  Franco asks her if she’s okay and she says no; not at all.  She tells him that Sam is pregnant and her and Jason are going to live happily ever after; he says that sucks.  Diane comes to see Alexis and kind of forces Alexis to tell Sam about being suspended; Alexis gets mad at Diane after Sam leaves.  Diane tells her to go get dressed and stop moping; she says success is determined by how you handle setbacks and points out that she would tell her the same thing if the situation was reversed.  Alexis says it must be exhausting to be right all the time; Diane says it is.  She tells Alexis they are going to lunch at the Metro Court.

08-18-2016 (Thursday)

Maxie wakes up –she has definitely lost too much weight- she says she dreamed that Claudette had gone away for good.  Nathan says sadly that Claudette made it clear that she plans on staying now… she has a nurse slip Griffin a note, which he crumples up saying he has had enough of her surprises.  Dr. Finn is back in the lab, working hopefully on his cure.  He is talking to somebody that isn’t there; someone who died from this disease, named Rico?  He acts as if this person is talking back to him.  He’s musing about whether or not there could actually be anything real between him and Hayden when Valerie comes in to “do a sweep” and finds a cuff link on the floor; Finn says it’s not his.  He leaves; Valerie suddenly falls to the floor, flinching like she was hit with something and passes out immediately.  Curtis comes looking for her and finds her; she says her head is killing her.  After getting up, she realizes the cuff link is gone; she determines that it must have been the killer that knocked her out.

Alexis wakes up with a headache when Sonny comes to her door, and then realizes she is missing Nikolas’ funeral, while everyone else is gathering at Wyndemere for the ceremony.  As Hayden begins to speak, Lulu lashes out at her.  Laura calms her down and Dante says they need to go anyway; they leave.  (They don't show much of the funeral.)  Kevin tries to make Laura feel better when she breaks down, finally accepting that Nikolas is gone.  She tells him its her fault that Nikolas is dead, saying she "chose wrong"; Kevin assures her that her grief is normal.

Griffin finds Claudette in a room and she tells him that she has a job at the hospital now.  He says he has decided to tell Nathan that he is the man he shot; Claudette begs him not to – she says finding him made everything clear to her.  She asks him to tell her he still loves her.  He can’t.  He says they cannot go back to what they had because it failed.  Claudette whispers that he needs to be with her in order to absolve himself of the guilt he feels; he gives in and kisses her.  Nina comes to tell Sonny and Alexis that Julian tried to escape last night… she also tells Alexis that Julian is determined to get her back; she says, “he think love conquers all.”  Finn goes to see Hayden and brings her a cactus.  He asks her to go have a drink with him, his treat; she notices that he is in a good mood and asks if she will be treated to more.  He says if his luck keeps up and hers runs out.  Maxie and Lulu meet for lunch, to go over wedding plans; Lulu says she will have everything narrowed down by next week.  Laura and Kevin kiss.  Sonny figures out how to exact justice on Julian, himself.

08-17-2016 (Wednesday)

Tracy and Laura are at the hospital waiting for the DNA test results from the jewelry Lulu found in the tunnels; Lulu is rambling (she went thrift store shopping to distract herself).  Laura asks Tracy if she is still in love with Luke… Tracey admits that she has not been able to shake him yet.  Kristina is leaving a message for Parker when Molly finds her, grabs the phone and throws it in the bushes; Kristina tells Molly that her mom is the one who drove Parker away.  She says she hopes they throw the book at her; Molly can’t believe she really means that.  Alexis waits impatiently; she asks Diane to assure her that it will be okay; the board calls Alexis in for her hearing… Olivia rushes in asking if she’s too late.  She wants to give her testimony in person even though the board already has her affidavit; she pleads with the board to realize that the mayor is using them to get revenge.  Alexis asks to speak for herself and makes a pretty good case for herself.

Franco is hiding in Elizabeth’s car when she goes to leave; he says she left a window down and needs to be more careful.  They talk and he tells her that he knows she was the one who cleared him now; he asks her why she didn’t try to stop him from ranting at some point to tell him.  She doesn’t seem to have an answer.  He thinks they finally have things behind them and she tells him that she doesn’t think she can get past ‘who’ he used to be and doesn’t think they should keep seeing each other.  Franco is crushed.  He tells Elizabeth that she is an angel to him; he had hoped she would be his salvation – she tells him he has to find that within himself.  She tells him to keep painting; he may find that salvation in his art.  Franco gently strokes her face and she looks perfectly ready to kiss him; he kisses her on the cheek and walks away.

The board calls Alexis in for their decision; they suspend her indefinitely, saying they will reconvene in a year to make a final determination.  Diane tries to encourage her but Alexis doesn’t know what she’s going to do.  Molly tells Kristina that her mom was only doing what she thought was best; demonstrating the kind of love that allows their child to hate their parent in order to keep them from hurting themselves. Kristina gets mad at Molly and tells her to go away, then breaks down crying and Molly hugs her and offers to take her home and binge watch movies; they forget Kristina’s phone in the bushes.  As they walk away, Parker tries to call.

08-16-2016 (Tuesday)

So, of course, Sam says yes to Jason’s proposal…and they get a call from Dr. Finn letting them know that the baby is fine; there is no sign of malaria exposure.  They kiss and reassure each other of their love for one another.  Joslyn realizes what a sacrifice Nelle has made; she thanks her for her gift and asks to talk to her.  Nelle tells her everything, except the awful way her kidney was procured; Joslyn asks her mom how they found Nelle if she had called off the search like she promised – Carly explains that Nina had sent the email before she made the call.  So Jos forgives her parents and accepts Nelle’s friendship; Nelle promises that they will stay in touch and gets ready to leave, saying she’s catching a bus.  Michael offers to give her a ride but she says she would rather go alone and have time to think about everything.  Jax makes a phone call out of ear’s reach of everyone else, telling somebody that Nelle isn’t going to be a problem after all because she is leaving town; he looks upset when Carly asks her to stay.

Curtis is shocked by Nina’s request to find her a baby; he refuses, saying that he is not into buying babies.  But when Nina tells him she is going to do it on her own then, he reconsiders and tells her that he will help her since she wants it that bad.  He doesn’t want her to get herself into trouble wandering around the ‘black market’ looking for a baby.  Dillon turns down Ava’s request for him to break Kiki and Morgan up; tells her to get the hell out of there…and when he leaves the office, he finds Kiki in the parking garage, with a flat tire.  He helps her change it and tells her what her mom just asked him to do; Kiki is pissed.  Tracy and Paul talk about Dillon and the lacking relationship between him and his father; Tracy tells Paul she wants him to talk to Dillon about the choices he is making.

Morgan talks to his doctor (Andre) about how good he is feeling, then gets concerned that maybe he IS getting manic again; how would he know – he thought he felt good before.  He is frightened to think he could be out of control and just no know it; Andre assures him he is fine and just needs to keep coming to see him to stay on top of things.  Morgan leaves Andre’s office and sits his bag down in the hallway while he walks away to make a phone call (stupid); Ava grabs his medicine out of the bag and dumps half of it out.  Guess she is hoping he won’t notice?

08-15-2016 (Monday)

Jason convinces Sam to tell him what she’s hiding; she confesses she is pregnant – then she realizes she almost made the same mistake she made with Danny… hiding her pregnancy from Jason.  He tells her they are not going to make the same mistakes again; after cuddling on the couch for a while, Jason asks Sam to marry him again.  Ava comes in to the restaurant to see Kiki, at Kiki’s request; Kiki just wants to tell her that she stands behind Morgan telling her to stay out of their lives.  Ava tells Kiki that is not all Morgan told her (and suggests she talk to him again).

Morgan tells Kiki that he just told Ava he was going to marry her, to “get a rise out of her” (to which Kiki says, she can understand).  Later, as they talk about ideas for the coffee shop, Morgan sounds a little manic – Kiki is concerned.  However, she tells Morgan that she is just happy that he has something (outside of her) that he is this passionate about.  Ava follows Dillon to his office after he and Kiki bump into each other and he spills his coffee down his shirt; Ava tells Dillon if he still wants Kiki, he definitely has a chance.  Michael and Sabrina talk in front of Perks; Carlos’ brother, Joe, approaches the table and mentions the ride home last night.  Michael asks Sabrina why she didn’t tell him that he had driven her a Teddy home last night; she admits that she thought it would just be best to avoid it.  Michael shakes his head, pointing out that what starts out as ‘avoidance’ soon becomes a lie.  She apologizes.  They talk for a while; he gets a call.

Nell agrees to meet Carly, Sonny and Jax at the hospital, to have some preliminary testing done to see if there is even a possibility that she is Joslyn’s donor.  There is… the blood type match and the sonogram shows a potential fit for the donor kidney; Sonny tells Carly that his men checked out Nell’s story and Spenelli located a clinic outside of the area that was doing illegal transplants at that time; the story checks out.  Monica tells them the only way to be positive is to do an invasive biopsy of the kidney; Nell says she wants to do it.  Sonny, Carly and Jax all agree they can’t ask her to do that.  They decide that they have enough proof; they call Michael to bring Joslyn to the hospital and they tell her that Nell is her donor.  She looks horrified.  Carly thanks Nina for her lead on Nell; Curtis comes into the office to speak with Nina regarding his last investigation.  Nina is so impressed, she tells Curtis his writing is great and he should have his own column.  He turns her down; then she offers him another job… she tells him she wants him to find her a baby.

08-12-2016 (Friday)

The high-heels belong to Nina; she stands on top of Julian’s hand as he reaches for the keys.  She picks the keys up and tells him that she needs him to sign a new contract, turning Crimson over to her; he complies, and she agrees not to tell the guards that he was trying to escape.  Cristina has a hard conversation with her mother after figuring out that she was the one who convinced Parker to break up with her.  They have words for quite a while, pointing out each other’s faults; Cristina makes some really valid points about her mother being completely controlling and trying manipulate the circumstances in her life (sounds familiar).

Franco talks with Olbrecht before going to pack his things to leave General Hospital’s employment; Elizabeth tries to talk to him, but he won’t listen to her.  I thought she was going to reach him when she slipped onto the elevator before the doors closed, telling him he wasn’t getting away that easy; still she never tells him that she was the one who exonerated him.  Finn and Olbrecht talk for a bit, accusing each other of possibly being the hospital killer – Finn reminds her that he has been cleared since a murder happened while he was locked up weeks ago.  She says he could have an accomplice.  He points out her history with the hospital, buying her way into the Chief of Staff position, reducing cost and improving patient care, then being demoted to not much more than a file clerk; she must be really angry.  She looks angry.

Lulu and Dante try to talk to talk to Valentene, hoping he will give them some information about her father; he says he never had the pleasure of meeting her father, but if he had, he probably would have bought him a drink and shook his hand – his only vendetta is against the Cassadines, for disclaiming him.  They leave with no answers.  Nina goes to see Valentene, still in the interrogation room; she asks if he was using her that night, as a cover.  He tells her no, explaining how very taken he was with her and the fact that he could think of nothing but her beauty was why he forgot the phone; he tells her that he believes they will see each other again.  Olbrecht sees Franco again as he is leaving; she manages to tell him that Elizabeth is the one who told the police he couldn’t be the killer.

08-11-2016 (Thursday)

Personal Soap Update:  Got all the paperwork done in response to my mother's lawsuit against my daughter; an Answer, a Motion to Dismiss and a Supporting Affidavit of my own, verifying all the wicked actions of my mother and informing the court that this is typical of her behavior, her greed, and her attitude toward people... and pointing out all Federal laws she is breaking by discriminating against my daughter because of those children, and against the children because of their mental disabilities and against my daughter's fiance` simply because she doesn't like him.  I EXPECT THE MATTER TO BE DISMISSED AS SOON AS THE JUDGE READS ALL THE PAPERWORK.

As for GH:  Sam tells Elizabeth that Jason may have malaria; they are waiting on the test results.  She mentions that she is concerned that her child may be in jeopardy if she was also exposed to it… Elizabeth assures her that it cannot be passed on to Danny, and then figures out that that Sam is pregnant and Sam confirms it.  Elizabeth tells her she is actually happy for her and she is sure she will be just fine; she offers to go back to the hospital with her to get her test results.  Kevin tells Laura that he doesn’t remember anything he said on the plane, which disappoints Laura because he had told her that she has opened his eyes to whole new possibilities – he falls just short of telling her he loves her.    Cristina tells Aaron that they need to talk, because he is acting very cold to her as they are working together at Perks.  She tells him that she can’t work like that, and she needs to know that he doesn’t hate her – she tries her best to explain why she did what she did.  He tells her he doesn’t want to be that person who makes her feel bad for trying to figure out who she is, or what she is; says he has lots of gay friends and he understands that it isn’t easy when they are trying to figure things out.  But he also says that he is not sure they can be friends, because he wanted more; this leaves Cristina still unsure about how they are going to work together.

Alexis shows up and Cristina mentions still being confused about they way Parker broke up with her in a letter and left without saying goodbye; Alexis looks guilty, and Cristina can tell she knows something - or did something.  Lucy comes to see Kevin, causing a scene at the hospital of course as she demands to go in even though he already has a visitor; Laura excuses herself, and when she comes back, she overhears Kevin telling Lucy that he is not in love with Laura.  Ava has a drink, alone, and toasts Nikolas – and what the two of them could have had together.

Alexis goes to see Julian in jail; tells the jailer to let her into his cell (she wants to talk without bars between him).  She tells him she still loves him and wants him to tear up the divorce papers; they kiss – then Julian wakes up.  Hahaha.  Alexis really comes in to see him, and tells the jailer to stay nearby; she asks Julian if he would make a statement to the State Bar on her behalf, admitting that he pressured her into representing Carlos.  He tells her he wants to her to make a statement on his behalf in exchange; she tells him to go to Hell.  One of Julian’s men, somehow, convinces a guard to slip Julian the keys to the jail cell…but as he’s struggling to open the lock, he drops the keys; when he lays down on the floor and reaches for him, a foot, with a high heel shoe, steps on his hand.

08-10-2016 (Wednesday)

So Jason is burning up with fever now; Dr. Finn thinks he might have malaria… if this is true, Sam and the new pregnancy could be in jeopardy as well.  Carly tries to calm the situation with Jax and Sonny, but Nell gets upset – she says none of this has been convenient; she simply thought she could provide some answers for their daughter and get a few answers for herself.  Nell gets upset and leaves; Michael goes after her.  Ava comes back to her apartment, to find everything a wreck and Lucy and Scotty in a state of undress.  Ava tells Lucy that Kevin Collins was shot, and Lucy goes to the hospital to see him.

Hayden talks to Finn about what she has learned about Nikolas; that he was actually trying to frame her for his own murder.  She says she is lost with the thought that she will never see him again, and sad… very, very sad.  Nell gets mad at Michael for following him – he says he was just ‘catching up.’  Joslyn accidentally meets Nell in front of Perks; she thinks that she would be perfect for Michaell.  Morgan goes out to get something to eat and goes to talk to Ava; he tells her that he and Kiki are getting married (even though he hasn’t proposed yet).  Michael talks Nell into staying long enough to be tested, to see whether or not she is a match.

08-09-2016 (Tuesday)

Dr. Finn comes back in to tell Sam that the blood test came back positive for pregnancy; she and Jason are having another baby.  .  There might be a complication though; Tracey questions Dillon about what pills he is taking, asking if Kiki gave him an STI.

Lulu talks with Hayden; she lets her know that Nikolas’ death, there in Port Charles, was staged – and fills her in on everything that happened on Cassadine Island.  She tells her he was murdered by his uncle Valentene.  After this, she heads to the Quartermaine’s; she shows Tracy a picture of the bracelet and earring she found in the tunnels on the skeleton.  They are now in police custody; Lulu asks Tracey for any item she might still have of her dad’s.  Tracy says she has an old baseball cap.

Carly agrees to talk to the possible donor… her story sounds plausible.  Even though she had finally, really stopped the investigation, as Jax wanted, they decide to check out Nell’s story and see if she is compatible.  Of course, Joslyn is not present for this conversation; Jax is though, and he is not happy.  Elizabeth tells Hayden that Nikolas really is dead now; she berates her for the way she treated Nikolas.  Hayden throws some nasty words right back. Sabrina runs into Carlos’ brother at General Hospital; he is working there now.  She looks a little bit uncomfortable and yet a little drawn to him.

08-08-2016 (Monday)

Michael talks to Joslyn about what’s going on; he assures her that their mom is only doing what she thinks is best for her.  Alexis is happy to see Jax when he shows up at her door, and falls apart again when he leaves.  Elizabeth defends Franco to Dr. Finn, letting him know he was with her when the last patient died.  Franco steps into see Sam.  He leaves immediately when Elizabeth comes in.  Morgan and Kiki take their pills for the STI they both got from Darby… Ava comes to see Kiki.

I guess this is the first glimpse of Dr. Finn that Sam has gotten; she is stunned by how much he looks like Silas Clay.  Jake breaks the news to his father – Jason - than Franco has been seeing his mom.  Jason does not look happy about that.  Franco gives Elizabeth her portrait back; she still doesn’t say anything to him (she’s acting like she’s mad).  Ava tries to offer to advice to Kiki about Morgan again; Kiki tells her mother to stay out of their business.  Ava sees the antibiotics for the STI.

At Sonny’s, a birthday party for Bobbie (Carly’s mom), where Carly tells Jax she has called off the search, an uninvited guest shows up; she might be Jos’ donor.  Elizabeth tells Jason that she and Franco went out on a date; Franco talks to a picture on his phone, of Daisy… the dog he got for Nina and gave to the Quartermaine’s.  He says all he really wants to do now is help people; so much love to give and no one to give it to.  Finn reviews Sam’s symptoms; he asks about her travels – she mentions Greece, which causes him concern.  Monica calls Franco to tell him he is being suspended; he tells her he wants the puppy back.

08-05-2016 (Friday)

Ava comes to see Julian…he tells her things are going to be okay; he has a plan to get everything back, including Alexis.  Ava is concerned when he tells her that he needs to escape and she needs to help him; Ava tells her brother that she loves him and she will do anything for him, except risk going back to prison.  She leaves, telling him good luck.  Hahaha.

Sam comes to see her mom; Alexis is relieved to see her.  She asks her mom what she knows about Valtentene Cassadine; she says not much, she was  a teenager and heard that her father had a bastard son.  Alexis asks if she is okay; this is her father after all, trying to kill her mother.  Sam tells Alexis she is not concerned about Julian; she is whom she cares about.  Charges are dropped against Jason; he asks about Valentene, but Jordan doesn’t want to give him any information.  Spencer is glad to see Sonny; he’s glad he got his message.  Sonny asks who his friend is.  He sees the Cassadine tattoo on his forearm when they shake hands; he knows he is a Cassadine.  He doesn’t let them leave; talks Spencer into going back out to finish the play.  Valentene pulls a gun on Sonny; Jason shows up and saves the day.  Sonny tells Spencer the man had to leave.

Jax comes to see Carly, and tells her that they have to talk about this search for Joslyn’s donor; he threatens to take Joslyn away.  When Carly steps out of the room, he looks at her phone and sees a message from Nina about the search… Ava comes into ‘Casa Corinthos’ to overhear Jax telling Carly that he is going to take her back to court.  She gloats a little bit, but then begs Carly to let her spend some time with her daughter.  Jax shows up to see Alexis; he asks her to represent him.  She tells him in another week, she may not be a lawyer at all.    Sam goes to see her father; she asks him to admit what he did, for once to be a man… she tells him she is done with him.   Says she will kill him, herself, if he goes near her mother again – tells him he is nothing to her.  When she turns to leave, she faints AGAIN.  I'm guessing she's pregnant.

08-04-2016 (Thursday)

Nina wakes up alone; her one-night-stand steps out of the bathroom.  He says he still has a few hours to kill… they make love again.  “Theo” tells her that he is only in town for a short while; asks for a no-strings arrangement while he is here.  Curtis comes to check on her.  Dillon gets a message from Darby; she has found out that she has a sexually transmitted infection and lets him know.  He asks if she has told Morgan; she says he won’t return her calls.  Dillon sees Morgan in front of Perks and tells him that he may want to return her call.  Kiki finds Dillon and Morgan at the hospital and Darby steps around the corner, and almost braggingly, gives her the news.

Nathan spends the first half of the show trying to convince Maxie that they should go get married right now; she begins to doubt his sincerity.  She wonders if he still has feelings for Claudette, but she decides to compromise with him and they set a date for the wedding next month.  After failing to convince Griffin that fate brought them back together, Claudette announces to Nathan and Maxie that she is not going to be leaving town, after all.  “Theo” leaves Nina’s room promptly after Curtis’ arrival; he forgets a phone.  Nina accidentally plays the message and they realize it is from Spencer; this was Nikolas’ phone.  They take it to Jordan at the police station, who is busy giving Jason the third degree, telling him to stay out of this investigation from now on.  Valentene shows up back stage and tells Spencer, he is his Uncle Theo and he is there to take him to see his father; Spencer agrees to go.  But just as they go to leave, Sonny steps in front of them.

08-03-2016 (Wednesday)

Yay… the ‘real’ Maxie is back! (I think.)  She looks somewhat different; like she lost too much weight or something (her face is thinner, chin and nose pointy like mine, which I always disliked).  Maybe it’s just the way they did her makeup this time.  I don’t know; more bitchy looking, I guess.  Or maybe she was gone because she was having something done to change her looks?  Always thought she was beautiful; still is, just different somehow.  Anyway, she finds out that Claudette is there in the hospital, has a confrontation with her because Claudette overhears a conversation between her and Nathan, walks out of her exam room to gloat about having spent the night in the jeep with him (even though her knee is supposedly hurt).  Nathan takes Claudette back to her room and then comes back out and asks Maxie to marry him, today.  I don’t think she is going to like that idea.

Griffin walks in to examine Claudette’s knee; they stare in disbelief at each other.  I guess he didn’t see her name on the paperwork.  Lol.  Okay, Franco is still being questioned by the police, while Elizabeth talks to Griffin about the evening… her date with Franco, how things went – back up to when they left the hospital – she figures out that Franco couldn’t have been the one to do it.  Nurse Nancy said the patients monitors were off when she died, that’s why no alarm sounded; but, when Franco left the room, with the vial in his pocket, the patient’s monitors were on.  He left right after that with Elizabeth.  Franco is cleared; but of course, no one bothers to relay the information to him that Elizabeth was the one who exonerated him.  He thinks she wants nothing more to do with him because when he called to talk to her, she was about to be questioned by Nathan and told him she couldn’t right then.  So when he goes back to the hospital, he tells Elizabeth that he is going to leave her alone, starting right now; she just stands there like a dummy and lets him walk away.

Kiki thinks Morgan has gone off his meds again, or is having a manic episode anyway – and he is kind of acting like it, but I think he just honestly thought he was making a good decision when he hired Lucy (who took a real estate course and is now a realtor) to find an apartment for he and Kiki; Lucy meets them at Perks to show them the apartment and Kiki is not happy about it.  She tells Lucy she and Morgan need to talk.  She tells him what she thinks.

08-02-2016 (Tuesday)

The noise in the woods was, in fact, Jason.  Joslyn comes running down the stairs all excited; she just got her dad’s text.  Jax tells Carly her mission to find their daughter’s donor is misguided and it needs to stop.  Nina meets a man at the bar; he walks her back to her room, notices the magazines and asks if she’s associated with Crimson.  She tells him she’s the editor.  He says he always dreamed of being one of those guys, in the suits; saw her recent article on old-money families.  I’m pretty sure this is supposed to be Valentene (different actor though).  He says his name is Theo Hart.  She asks about the cut over his eye; he says some one treated him unkindly, but he’s sure that person is very sorry now.  The police tell Franco he needs to come with them; they have new evidence they need to talk to him about.  Laura comforts Lulu… tells her Spencer needs them.

Spencer is trying to call his father on a camp phone; he leaves him a message.  The counselor comes in and asks what he has; when he leaves, Spencer calls back and carries on his one-sided conversation.  Lulu tells Laura about finding her dad’s bracelet and earring on a skeleton in the tunnels.  They discuss the possibility of it all being an elaborate set-up by Helena (just one of her games).  “Theo” asks Nina a question that makes her suspicious; she tells him to cut out the act – she knows what he’s up to.  She tells him she’s on to him; says he doesn’t need to keep giving her so many compliments to get her to forget her ex boyfriend.  She says she’s glad to know she can depend on the kindness of strangers, and gently kisses him on the cheek; they begin kissing passionately.

Cristina and Morgan talk; he tells her he’s proud of her – joking that she has doubled her playing field… now she can date anyone.  But then she muses about how she’s alone now, saying she probably should be.  The police ask to search the studio; Franco tells them to get a Warrant.   Jordan demands he come with them now; she says they have enough cause to hold him for 24 hours.  Laura thanks Jason for all he has done and apologizes for the actions of her son.  They hear another boat… it’s a Naval patrol ship.  Sonny agrees with Jax about Carly deceiving Joslyn, as much as he hates to, but he still wonders what his agenda is.  Jax makes a call, saying he has an update; he thinks he got Carly to drop the search, and as for Sonny, he thinks he can ‘handle’ him too.  Valintene has Nikolas’ phone; he listens to Spencer’s message and repeats the name of the camp Spencer gives.

08-01-2016 (Monday)

Forensics come back and the only fingerprints on the vial are Franco’s; the police ask Nurse Nancy what made her suspicious… she says, Franco.  Claims he was acting ‘shifty.’  The group is now on another island in the Mediterranean; Sam says she is going to look for Jason.  He told them all to get out and went down with the plane, but it exploded.  Dante tells her he probably didn’t make it; Ava agrees, Jason has got to be dead.  It almost seems like Franco is trying to freak Elizabeth out a little bit; Nurse Nancy tells the police that Franco is on a date with Elizabeth Webber.  They ask who else would know anything about Franco’s plan – Nurse Nancy says nobody else wants anything to do with him, other than Liz and Dr. Olbrecht.

Someone walks up behind Finn and says that lizard looks like she’s in love… it’s Jax!  Carly is surprised to see him.  Elizabeth asks about this place; Franco tells her that he bought it after he and Nina broke up.  Says he’s been working “like a mad-man” lately (then, laughingly, says he means ‘really hard’).  Carly introduces Jax to Hamilton Finn; Jax says he just had some business in town so he thought he’d surprise his daughter, Joslyn.  Nina asks Curtis to perform another investigation for her; he tells her that she is a beautiful, intelligent woman and Franco is a fool.  Franco tells Elizabeth that he has been inspired lately, to paint again; he says he has a whole new set of feelings he is trying to explore.  He wants to show her something, and hopes she doesn’t find it too disturbing.

It’s a picture of her (he tells her, he thinks of her); she says it’s beautiful.  It really is beautiful… he calls her a vision of beauty in a world of chaos.  Andre comes to the hospital; the police ask him what he felt about Franco.  He says that Franco did seem to have an unusual fixation with death.  Andre is being rather cold to Jordan.  As Sam takes off to go find Jason, she faints, again.  She wakes up and says she’s fine; they hear a boat, but it goes away.  Elizabeth confesses that she always secretly wanted to be an artist; she asks to paint him.  Just as he tells her the right combination can do wonders, there is a knock on the door; it is the police – they want to question him.  Sam hears someone walking in the woods, and goes running, yelling for Jason.

07-29-2016 (Friday)

Maxie gets home to find Nathan gone; and finds that he has left his phone.  The jeep breaks down; Nathan is under the hood as Claudette looks at her phone.  She tells him he’s a hero for getting them to the side of the road safely; he gets upset and says he just wants to be home with Maxie.  He accuses her of setting this up; she asks how she could have possibly done that.  Nurse Nancy tells Valerie that she saw Franco going into a patient’s room with something small in his hand; Valerie searches him and finds a vial in his pocket.  Griffin talks to Elizabeth; asks her if things are better… she says yeah – she found someone who understands being on the wrong side of things.  He tells her that’s a gift (people come into our lives just when we need them).  Griffin tells Liz that he believes Franco is on the right side of wrong; he says he likes to give people the benefit of doubt, which is harder to do when it comes to himself.  Nurse Nancy thinks Franco is weird; (I think she’s weird).

Jordan tells Curtis that she took TJ to see Shaun today; they have a decent talk; she says a great weight has been taken off her shoulders.  She tells Curtis she’d like him to be a strong, male presence in her son’s life; Curtis accepts and thanks her.  Claudette gets pissy and grabs her bags and starts walking away; she trips on something and twists her knee.  She mentions an injury she had received before; Nathan remembers… says how scared he was seeing her falling (thought he was losing her forever).  She mentions how scared she was to lose him too; but then she cheated on him and lost him anyway.  He talks about how bad he feels for shooting her lover.  Maxie questions Griffin about being shot; he gives her very little information, just saying he was in the wrong and doesn’t blame the shooter.  Nurse Nancy comes out of a patient’s room, screaming “code blue” – another patient is dead at General Hospital.

Elizabeth meets Franco for their date; he notices that she seems nervous to be alone with him, so he takes her to the Floating Rib.  Then they talk about it and he calls her out; tells her if she can’t trust him, then he’ll just leave.  She agrees to see where he really wanted to take her.  Maxie tells Griffin about her heart transplant; he says he thinks she has a good heart – she says he doesn’t really know her.  He says she should ease up on herself, forgive her failings, etc.  She asks how he can see that to her, and not to himself.  Nathan and Claudette hear a noise; he rushes her back to the jeep.  She turns on the radio and hears the song they played after their wedding; he tells her it’s on his playlist… he listens to it all the time.  She looks at him longingly.  Franco takes Elizabeth to his art studio and locks the door; she smiles at him, but looks half-terrified.

07-28-2016 (Thursday)

Cristina gets Parker’s note, from Aaron; Sonny asks Alexis why she didn’t tell him about Cristina and Parker.  She tells him that she thought the information should come from his daughter.  Maxie admits that she sabotaged the magazine to try to get rid of Claudette; Nina apologizes to Claudette and tells her Ms. Jones will be reprimanded.  Claudette tells her that she has realized this is no place for her – she got a different job offer; she quits.  Nina escorts Claudette to the elevator, telling her the door is always open to her… then walks back and tells Maxie she “did the right thing.”  Maxie is surprised.

Claudette shows up to tell Nathan goodbye.  She tells him she’s on the next plane out of Port Charles.  Alexis and Sonny go to talk to Cristina together and find her crying.  Sonny and Alexis both reassure Cristina that they don’t care whether she loves a woman or a man.  Although she is angry because this was not the time to mess with the magazine, Nina tells Maxie that she understands her motive and agrees with her trying to protect her relationship with her brother; she says she could see in Claudette’s eyes that she was not ready to let him go.  After Nina talks to her, Maxie realizes that it shouldn’t matter if Claudette is there or not, if she and Nathan really love each other; she leaves to “make everything right.”

On Cassadine Island, Daphne comes back with the first aid kit and antibiotics; they thank her and head for the plane.  She has a strange look on her face when they walk away.  The group makes it to the plane and Jason starts up the engine; looking over the controls, he prepares to take off.    After only a short time in the air, the plane begins to lose fuel; Jason decides they are going to have to make an emergency landing.  As Jason brings the plane down, it appears to be landing really hard.

Cristina tells Aaron about Parker; he’s a little upset and says he needs some time to process this.  She tells him that she still wants to try to make things work; he doesn’t know.  Maxie gets a message from Nathan telling her he doesn’t think Claudette wants him back – Claudette tells Nathan her car to the airport cancelled; he offers to drive her.  This seems like a set up.

07-27-2016 (Wednesday)

Maxie tells Nathan that she wants Claudette out of town and out of their lives.  (Still hard to see 'Melanie' as Maxie).  She starts plotting on how to get Claudette fired; looking at a flash drive, she tells Nathan that Spennelli sent this to her.  She is going to use it to destroy Claudette’s performance at work.  Alexis tells Diane she isn’t sure she can walk into that courtroom to attend Julian’s arraignment; Diane tells her she has to – she has to show that she is done with him for good, by walking in with her divorce attorney.  Paul comes to pick up Julian and escorts him to the arraignment… Sonny shows up and teases him.

The group on Cassadine Island stops on a deck; Kevin needs to rest.  He takes a look at his wound and says the bullet needs to come out.  He asks Dante to hold him down while Laura cuts below the wound.  She gets the bullet out and sews the hole up; Ava is nervous… doesn’t like sitting there.  Sam and Jason have gone to find the way off the island.  Dante gives Ava the news that Julian has been arrested for Carlos’ murder and for attempted murder of Alexis.

As they are reading the charges against him, Alexis walks into the courtroom.  Julian requests to be released on bail, into the custody of his wife; Diane objects to the request and the judge denies it.  Alexis tells him afterward she doesn’t want to be anywhere near him – but he tells Scotty (who is representing him) that he still thinks she loves him.  A lady walks by the dock on Cassadine Island, says she is on her way home; she offers to go get a first aid kit and antibiotics for Keven.  They ask her address… 13 Amiklon(?).  Lulu recognizes the address; it is the return address on the empty envelope Helena left Lulu in her will.  Maxie installs the ‘malware’ and ruins Claudette’s files; her graphics come back scrambled.  She, luckily installed spyware on her computer, which traces the upload to Maxie’s computer; Nina looks at Maxie questioningly.

07-26-2016 (Tuesday)

Paul tells Alexis that she is getting disbarred for the way she handled Carlos Rivera’s case.  Julian tells his hired hand that he needs him to give him some more of that drug tonight; he says he is not going to his arraignment.  He decides he leaving town, and as he tares up the Petition for divorce, he says he is leaving… and he’s taking his wife with him.  His man comes back in dressed in a hospital uniform, saying they need to get him out of there.   Sonny explains to Cristina that he had friends, growing up, who were gay; he has no problem with it – she says she didn’t know that.  He questions whether she would have ever told him or not, if he hadn’t seen them in the hallway.  She’s not sure how to answer.  She tells him she is just so messed; she can’t handle a relationship, she got kicked out of school.  He asks if she thought he would be so disappointed that he would not accept her.  She shakes her head, yes, and begins to cry.

Alexis sees Parker outside of Perks; questions why she’s there.  Parker explains she is speaking at the University this week.  Alexis questions where her daughter was last night; Parker tells her they spent the night together.  Alexis looks stunned.  Nina shows Carly all the responses from the Crimson Online website, regarding Joslyn’s transplant; Carly asks her why she is doing this.  Nina tries to explain that it is good for business, and then admits that, okay…it makes her feel good too; kind of, “motherly.”  Carly smiles and touches her hand; she says, how about just calling it what it is:  Doing the Right Thing.    Joslyn comes in; Nina tells her that she has been an inspiration to her, and to her readers.  Jos asks what all those papers are, and Carly tells her; she asks her to stop searching for her donor.

On Cassadine Island, Lulu chickens out, and gives up the gun, when Valentine tells her he will shoot her mother at the exact moment she shoots him.  But just as they are going to start taking them all out, Jason comes down the stairs shooting.  Valentine runs into another room and hides.  Jason goes after him.  Jason comes back and tells everyone Valentine is gone… Kevin is okay; the group starts to make their way out of the mansion.  Lulu says she doesn’t want to leave Nikolas behind; Laura doesn’t either but says Kevin needs help and they need to get back to Spencer because they are all he has now.  Julian’s man comes in to give him another does of the medicine; then Nina comes in to see him.  She asks him to sign a paper, in case he gets convicted, that gives her full autonomy over Crimson.  He signs; she starts to walk away, then notices a place he forgot.  She turns to go back and bumps into the ‘nurse’ and spills his medicine all over the floor – says, “oops” telling him that it’s good he’s in a hospital where he can get more.

Carly tells Joslyn she needs a full medical record, in case she has another occurrence.  As the adult in this situation, and her parent, she has to make this decision – Jos tells her that friends talk about her behind her back now, and people point at her.  Alexis threatens to tell the Dean Parker is shacking up with the student she suspended for trying to beguile her for a better grade; and threatens to tell her wife.  She tells her to end it; Cristina promises her dad that Parker would never hurt her.  Sonny tells her that he loves and accepts her, gay or not.

07-25-2016 (Monday)

Lulu looks at the skeleton she tripped over; she recognizes a bracelet… says it looks like one that belonged to her dad.  Then she recognizes an earring.  Dante jumps the gunman after Kevin gets shot; he gets the gun away from him, but another man holds a gun to his head.  He lets go.  He offers himself as a permanent hostage, demanding they let the others go.  Kevin stands up, saying he’s fine… see – then he falls down.  Hayden questions Finn, how he’s doing, and if he got the medicine he needs; he tells her it’s really not her concern anymore.  Then he apologizes; they talk, friendly (he tells her of his arrangement to get his medicine), but then he gets mad when she asks if this has anything to do with Sonny Corinthos.

Elizabeth comes in to take care of Hayden’s mom; Franco comes in to talk to Elizabeth; she agrees to go on a date with Franco to get him to leave the room.  Liz mentions Heather Webber’s name and Hayden’s mom almost has another panic attack.  When she calms down, she asks Elizabeth if she isn’t worry about dating a relative; Liz seems shocked.  Cristina stays in Parker’s hotel room while she goes to her speaking engagement; after Parker leaves, Sonny knocks on the door.  She finally confesses everything to her dad.  Sonny reassures her that he loves her no matter what.

Franco goes to see his mother again; wants to make sure she’s okay with him dating Elizabeth Webber; she explains that she is not related – Heather was married to her father MANY years ago, she says.  She tells him that she has nothing against Liz; she loved her father, Jeff… she says Elizabeth is different from any other woman he’s ever dated.  One of the men come after Lulu in the tunnels; she hears them, waits around a corner and whacks him over the head.  She takes his gun and heads back to the house.  Hayden’s mom is released from the hospital and she goes to see Heather; Heather asks if she’s there to make another deposit in her account.  She tells her those days are over; and threatens that if she says anything to Franco about her, she will make her life miserable.

Back on the island, Valentine asks who would like to die first; Lulu steps in, with gun pointed, and says, “I vote for you.”

07-22-2016 (Friday)

Cristina brings Parker breakfast in bed… Morgan wakes Kiki up, kissing her – he didn’t sleep all night.  Parker asks Cristina if she’s okay; she says, more than okay (she says, she thinks she finally felt the difference between just having sex and making love).  But then she gets all embarrassed, and Parker makes her feel even worse by telling her it “was just a moment” and she has to get back to her life.  Cristina had hoped it meant something; (I think it did) but Parker says she has so much going on and it’s “all kinds of inappropriate” and encourages Cristina to keep exploring herself, saying if she just decides that she’s the one, she will never know if she is really Gay (personally, I don’t see why that matters).  I really like that they added this storyline.

So, Kiki doesn’t look nearly as happy as Morgan is, and she makes several comments that lead me to believe this is all FOR HIM; she feels like he needs her, so she is with him.  While, she would really rather be with Dillon; the chemistry is definitely there with those two.  But it appears that she is willing to sacrifice her own happiness to keep him ‘okay.’

Morgan shows up at work and talks with his dad, who was already there ‘getting to know’ Alex(?) the owner of Perk’s (and Cristina’s current boyfriend).  Sonny tells Morgan to be careful of those highs, and to stay on his medicine; Morgan promises he will.  Cristina tells Parker she doesn’t care about “labels” (go girl) and says she just wants to worry about tomorrow, tomorrow.  She likes her and they are here, now.  She kisses her goodbye.

On Cassadine Island, Ava pretends to be interested in their captor – after he shot Nikolas, he figures that’s her best chance.  They start making out, lie down of the bed, and Ava reaches for a heavy book on the nightstand, grabbing it and whacking him with it (not very convincingly); still, he falls to the floor and comes up with his forehead bleeding.  Ave runs for the door, but she is stopped by another guard; meanwhile, downstairs, the four captives (Laura, Kevin, Dante and Lulu) make a plan for escape, at least for one of them.  They cause a distraction by fighting with each other and Lulu makes her way out of the room, toward a secret passage.  In there, she gets lost and trips over a skeleton.  Laura shrieks when Ava tells her the man shot Nikolas; she tells him he just as well kill her to.  He raises the gun, saying it was a pleasure; Kevin pushes her out of the way and is shot in the right shoulder.  Laura is stunned.  Morgan realizes he forgot his meds in the hotel room; Sonny offers to get them, and happens to step around the corner, just as Cristina is kissing Parker goodbye.

07-21-2016 (Thursday)

This episode begins with Scott Baldwin sitting at a table and Lucy coming to meet him; she brags about being an independent woman and asks what he wants.  He claims only dinner; but she doesn’t believe it and asks again what he wants and how much she’ll regret giving in.  He tells her he needs a job; wants to work for Coco cosmetics.  She says no; their business deals always end in disaster… besides, she’s broke.  Says her broker, Raymon Berlin, took off with all her cash.  They happen to see Hayden’s mother sitting at the bar just then, and ask her where her husband is and where he “stashed all the cash” but she claims to know nothing.  Lucy introduces herself, and introduces Scotty as her attorney; so I guess he got the job after all (for no pay likely, but still).

Franco comes to see Elizabeth, bringing her an envelope – there is a check inside for the kids’ summer camp (enough for all three kids).  He tells her this is his way of ‘checking’ with her before doing something, saying that this represents growth; she smiles.  Hayden comes to see Finn; he tells her he’s expecting company.  She asks him point blank if he is a drug addict; he gets very angry and tells her he knows about the side effects of the medication and he knows what he is doing.  Says she is the one who insisted on getting involved, and now he is asking her to stay out of his business again.  She tells him she wants to believe him; begs him to tell her he is someone she can believe in.  He tells her she is too optimistic and that’s a problem, because people fail you… they screw up and disappoint you every time; but he lets her know he will not ever lie to her.

Sonny comes to see him.  He tells Finn that he wants him to take over Julian’s case, and to make sure he has a speed recovery so he can make it to his arraignment; in return he will fly him to a country where he can get his “zen-zen” and will find a friendly customs agent to bring it back.  The man at the door of the Quartermaine mansion says, “Hello Sabrina,” and she smiles, calling him Jose.  He says he goes by Joe now, and asks to come in.  When Michael comes home, Sabrina introduces him as Carlos’ brother, a doctor; pediatric surgeon.  (Looks like the same actor, with no accent, all cleaned up.)  Says they were estranged and he regrets that; wants to get to know his nephew and Sabrina.

Rick sees Elizabeth talking to Franco, and seems bothered by it; is miffed when she declines he offer for a cup of coffee.  He is even more annoyed when she calls Franco and makes a date for tomorrow night.  Franco goes to see his dad, and offers to buy dinner – mentions that he has $6000 burning a hole in his pocket; when he tells him he got it from Heather, Hayden’s mom looks horrified (the name echos in her head) and she passes out, falling off her chair to the floor.  Paramedics happen to be nearby; apparently she had a panic attack.  Scotty mentions that Franco is a suspect for those murders at the hospital; suggests he save that money cause he might need it for an attorney.  Carly, still trying to find Jos’ donor, meets with a girl named Wendy, who was trying to pull a scam.  Hayden’s mother reveals (to us, but not to Hayden) that Elizabeth’s father is her biological dad.

07-20-2016 (Wednesday)

Carly comes to see Morgan at his new job, at Perk’s.  She asks how he and Kiki are; he mentions seeing Dillon with Darby yesterday.  Then he asks about her search for Joslyn’s kidney donor; she tells him that Nina’s article, on Crimson Online, has gotten a lot of interest and maybe a lead.  He tells her not to give up; they hug and Carly leaves.  She sees Kiki on the way out; tells her she hopes she has truly made up her mind to be with Morgan.

Michael comes back from his trip, acting slightly cold when Sabrina comes in excited to see him and hugs him.  She asks what’s going on and he asks, “why don’t you tell me?”  He mentions them kissing before he left, and now he finds out she has applied for an apartment – he wants to know when she was going to tell him that she was moving out.  He gets a little angry saying, all the way back, all he could think of was them starting a life together; and she is thinking of running away.  She says that’s the last thing she’s doing; she’s just giving him space.  He tells her he doesn’t want space; he wants her.  He says she is all he needs; she looks surprised.  He talks her out of leaving.

Recovering now from his “episode,” Julian sees Carlos in his hospital room; he tells him to get out, he’s not real.  Carlos eggs him on, telling him he took too much of that drug… he may be joining him soon.  Griffin comes in to check on him, and he tells him there was someone in his room.  Griffin assures him there wasn’t; checks his vitals and leaves.  Carlos pops out from under the hospital bed; he laughs about how Alexis tricked him and got him to admit to killing him AND Duke.  Says now the world knows exactly who he is and there is no going back (unless, maybe…).

Dillon and Darby end up in bed; they both agree they like each other.  Alexis asks Cristina if she is going to see Parker while she’s in town giving that lecture; Cristina claims not, saying there’s no point.  She just needs to get over her; she leaves.  Alexis looks at a photo of herself and Julian; she remembers their wedding – and tears the picture out of the frame.  She goes to the hospital to serve Julian with divorce papers.  Cristina shows up at Parker’s, tells her she is dating a really great guy; Parker looks at her questioningly.  She tells her that her journey is hers to figure out, but that she needs to be honest with herself.  She tells her she should probably go.  Cristina notices she is not wearing her wedding ring; Parker tells her she took it off… her marriage is over.  Cristina apologizes; Parker tells her it wasn’t because of her; she says it’s been a long-time coming, she just couldn’t admit it.  She says she feels like a complete failure; Cristina immediately goes to comfort her.  She  tells Parker, she understands being confused – tells her this boy is really a great guy, but she can’t help of think of her.  Parker kisses her; they end up in bed.

Morgan and Kiki go to a room at the Metro Court; Kiki is a little concerned, feels maybe not ready, herself, but senses Morgan needs this, so goes along.  When she takes off her shirt, Morgan sees the scar and gets sad; she tells him it may be ugly, but it’s beautiful because it reminds her that they didn’t die… they got through this, together.  He kisses her, then gently kisses her belly and they finish undressing, slowly, kissing – very romantic.  Well done guys!  Nicely concealing what needs to be concealed for television, they showed an extremely loving, yet erotic love scene between these two young actors.  Sadly, when they are done, Kiki does not seem as content as Morgan.  Carlos continues haunting Julian – telling him he needs to kill Alexis if he wants to get out of this – the same way he killed him.  Julian says he wishes he could go back and undo it all, because he loves her; and as he says that, repeating, “I love her so much,” Alexis steps in the door of his room to hear him (talking to himself).  Then he drifts off to sleep.  She walks in and throws the papers on top of him as he sleeps.  There’s a knock on the door at the Quartermaine’s; Sabrina answers it… sees a man, and says, quietly, “no.”  Who is this man?????
