09-23-2016 (Friday)

Franco is hovering over Elizabeth a little bit; Jason comes to visit.  He brings a card from Jake; she thanks him for keeping him.  She asks him why he’s wearing a suit; he tells her Sabrina’s funeral is today.  Hayden shows up at Finn’s…she asks what the hell happened in his room.  She asks if he’s out of medication; he says, no, he doesn’t have that excuse this time.  He avoids telling her why he tore the room up; she tells him about Jeff Webber being her ‘real’ father.

They talk about Elizabeth being her half-sister; Hayden says she used to dream about having a sister, but finds it a cosmic joke that she and Elizabeth are related.  She asks about his room again; he admits that today is his and his dead wife’s anniversary.  He finally tells her the whole story of how his wife got the disease… she got sick because of him – she wanted to go home, he wanted to say and find the cure.  Hayden helps him put on the ugly Einstein tie his wife had bought him; he promised her, he would wear it on their anniversary.

Valerie and Curtis wake up in bed together; apparently they had a wonderful night together.  They make love again.  Griffin leads the memorial service for Sabrina; Paul has a blank look on his face as he sits in the pew.  Elizabeth shows up; Franco tells Jason she really needed to be here, because she needs to grieve.  She goes straight up to the podium, to talk about Sabrina; she said she was one of the kindest people she knew, and says she is going to try to be more like her.

Carly and Michael get up together to talk; Michael says she left this place better than when she found it.  He says he is going to try to do some good for someone, to honor her.  Apiphany sings “You’re not Alone Anymore” ( beautifully).  Franco brings Elizabeth back home; she asks if he would be there when she wakes up…he says if she wants him to be there, then there’s where he’ll be.  Griffin tells Tracy goodbye; Paul still sits in the pew, staring at Sabrina’s picture.  Tracy notices.  Andre and Jordan feel like they are making some progress; Curtis reminds Jordan of an old case, where the guy was right under their nose the whole time.  Paul tells Tracy he killed “her.”

09-22-2016 (Thursday)

Carly encourages Kiki to leave work and spend time with Morgan; Sonny talks to Morgan about the way he reacted to seeing Joe, about his meds, his decision-making and self-control.  Morgan questions how Sonny will handle his self-control when he sees Julian on the street.  They have a good conversation, though, and Sonny walks him through a ‘thinking test,” which I thought was pretty cool, that they would throw that in there.  Kiki shows up and tells them that Carly basically ordered her to go out with Morgan tonight.  Sonny excuses himself.

Paul warns Julian about his actions in the future; Ava tells Paul, that he better not do anything to her brother.  They admit, if they come at each other, they are both facing ‘mutual destruction’ but Paul says the difference is, his lands him in prison; hers lands her in hell.  He grabs her by the chin and tells her not to mess with him.  Nathan tells Maxi that Claudette is now claiming that her daughter is his; she insists he get a DNA test.  Michael, Tracy and Griffin talk about Sabrina’s burial; Tracy says she would want to be buried with Gabriel.  Griffin tells Michael the only thing left to do now is grieve; he does tell him he should fix things with his mother, though, because she is still alive.

Maxi says Claudette is using this child to lure him back into her web; he asks what if it is really his…she says then they will deal with it.  Claudette tells Olbrecht about he little girl, showing her a picture; Olbrecht doesn’t necessarily believe her.  She asks if the child shows an aptitude for science.  After watching videos of the little girl, Olbrecht is in tears and is certain the girl is Nathan’s; besides, she says, Claudette knows better than to pass off a fake grandchild.  Nathan and Maxi tell Claudette they want a DNA test done; she gives a lock of hair, from a locket, that is supposedly her girl’s hair.  Olbrecht says she will do the test.  Paul is sneaking up the stairs at the Quatermaine mansion, with another syringe in his hand; Tracy catches him half-way up the stairs (he hides the syringe).  She tells him nobody is getting in to see Monica; there is an armed guard at the door.  They go back downstairs, where Paul sits on the couch; she tells Paul he has to catch this maniac, but he doesn’t hear – he is zoning out, looking at pictures of Sabrina that are spread out on the coffee table.  He gets upset and tells her he can’t do anything about it.

Ava and Julian are having diner at the Metro Court; Kiki and Morgan come in and Morgan flips out on him… he lunges at him.  The bartender says she is calling the police; Kiki tells Morgan they need to go.  Outside, Kiki gives Morgan a chewing out; she tells him he cannot let Julian get under his skin like that.  Morgan asks what is going to stop Julian from hurting someone else again; he says someone has to do something, and if the police aren’t going to do it, and his dad is going to do it, he will.  Kiki is pissed.  Carly and Sonny come in next; Julian tells them they need to put Morgan on a leash.  Sonny steps forward and tells Julian he better not threaten his son; Julian tells him to get him under control then.  Carly demands that Julian leave her establishment now; Ava gets Julian to leave.  Sonny tells her she was right… this has to stop.

09-21-2016 (Wednesday)

A news reporter interviews hospital staff as they get ready to close the doors; Apiphany gets angry at him and tells him to get out of there.  She apologizes to Dr. Hardy’s picture on the wall, saying they tried.  Hayden’s mom comes to visit Hayden, who is back in jail again.  She tells her she doesn’t want anything to do with a liar; then asks when she was going to tell her Jeff Webber was her real father.  She doesn’t accept any of her mother’s excuses, and her mother leaves in tears, to go check with the lawyers.  Elizabeth rehearses the conversation she needs to have with her father – about how long he was cheating on her mother, and whether she has any other half-siblings out there.

Lulu and Dante come to visit Michael; they hug him and give him their condolences.  Maxi stops by to talk to Griffin and asks what happened with Claudette; he says he can’t think about her right now, telling Maxi that Julian was just found NOT GUILTY.  Maxi doesn’t understand how; Griffin mentions Sabrina not being able to testify, and Maxi questions why.  He tells her that Sabrina is dead.

Nathan is stunned by Claudette’s news about a daughter; he questions if this is just another lie.  She says keeping her secret is the only way she can keep her safe.  She says the man she was with was very dangerous, he wouldn’t let her go, and threatened her child; he showed her a photo of her daughter, threatening to hurt her if he couldn’t have Claudette.  Nathan questions if this is his daughter; she says she is, and shows him a picture, telling him her name is Charlotte.  He says he has to tell Maxi; they will talk tomorrow.  Nathan tells Maxi that they need to talk, as he holds his daughter’s picture.

Elizabeth tries to call Sabrina; she leaves her a message.  Franco comes back in to her room, gives her a bottle of water and sits down; Elizabeth tells him she couldn’t call her dad, saying she can’t handle it right now (losing the fairy tale of her parent’s marriage), adding that she can’t lose anything else right now.  Apiphany comes in, telling Liz she needs to be transferred to Mercy – they tell Elizabeth that the hospital is closing; Franco talks Apiphany into discharging her instead, into his care.  Apiphany asks him to come talk to her; she tells him they have to tell her about Sabrina, now.  Franco refuses.  Tracy tells Finn he needs another laboratory to work on his cure; she says she’s not letting him give up on himself.  Finn finds an old letter from his wife and he begins to cry, saying he failed her; he throws a tantrum.  Hayden calls and leaves him a message.

Morgan shows up while Dante is talking to Michael; he is getting more and more manic by the minute.  Dante questions his behavior, and he swears he’s taking his medicine; it’s in his pocket, he says.  Carlos’ brother , Joe, shows up at the Quartermaine’s, announcing that he is there for Sabrina’s baby; he says he is going to take him, because he is his closets relative.  Morgan says he’s not taking him and he punches him, knocking him to the ground.  Tracy comes in and tells him that her lawyers will be working on custody and he’s not taking Teddy anywhere.  He says that he will fight her; Michael says there won’t be a fight.  Michael says that it wouldn’t be fair to Teddy to grow up in the middle of a custody fight, like he did… he tells Tracy that Sabrina would not want that.  He agrees to let Teddy go with Joe; Joe promises to take care of him.

Elizabeth wanders out and overhears Apiphany talking to Griffin about Sabrina; she breaks down.  Franco comforts her.  As they are leaving the hospital, Elizabeth asks for a minute alone in the hallway with the pictures; she spends the time looking at her grandfather’s picture.  Griffin and Apiphany pray together; as he recites the Lord’s Prayer, the hospital clears out.

09-20-2016 (Tuesday)

Nathan shows up at Claudette’s door; she tells him she is in trouble and he’s the only one that can help.  She tells him that she got involved with a dangerous man after they broke up; he is in prison now, which Nathan laughs about.  She tells him he got out and found her, and that’s why she came to town… plus she hoped that maybe they could rekindle things.  He asks what about Griffin; she swears she didn’t know he was there.  Nathan tells her she is not going to get any help from him; he explodes in anger, recalling all of her antics and telling her she can go get a restraining order, or ask someone else for help, and begins to leave.  She stops him, and tells him she has a daughter.

Griffin overhears Scotty on the phone, telling a reporter that he is sure Julian Jerome is going to be acquitted; Griffin questions why.   He introduces himself; Scotty tells him he needs to go talk to Sonny or Alexis to find out what happened in court.  Olivia confronts Alexis, saying that her actions in court may set Julian free.  Alexis tells her she doesn’t know what happened; she froze, and doesn’t know why.  She says it was like everything was in slow motion and she couldn’t comprehend anything; then she passed out and woke up in his arms.

Sonny tells Carly that Michael is staying at the Quatermaine’s for now; she says it’s probably best, so he can be close to Teddy.  They wonder who could be so heartless to murder Sabrina; scene flashes to Paul, sitting, lost in thought, still in the courtroom.  Dillon finds him and he tells him he feels bad about the trial.  Dillon tells him about Sabrina’s death (he acts surprised) and then tells him the hospital is closing down; he asks if he could reassure his mother he will do everything in his power to catch the killer.  Paul promises.  Ava visits Julian, back behind bars, as they await the jury’s decision; she tells him that she may have had something to do with Alexis’ difficulty on the stand today, and wants him to remember that she was there for him.  He then asks her if she had anything to do with Sabrina’s death; she says she was going to ask him the same thing.  He worries that her death may make him look even guiltier.  The jury comes back with their decision.

Carly asks Sonny to promise her, if Julian is found not guilty and released, that he will not retaliate.  Julian is found not guilty of “solicitation,” not guilty of “theft of evidence,” not guilty of “obstruction of justice” and not guilty of “conspiracy to commit murder” (of Duke Lavery), not guilty of “murder in the first degree” (of Carlos Rivera) and not guilty of “attempted murder” (of Alexis).  Alexis begins to cry; Olivia screams at Julian, calling him a son of a bitch.  Alexis, sobbing, leaves the courtroom and tells Olivia she needs to be alone; Scotty rejoices in his victory.  Paul leaves, saying he needs to process what just happened.

Ava hugs her brother, and whispers in his ear, “you owe me.”  Sonny stares at Julian, with obvious hatred.  Alexis, sitting at the bar, goes over her testimony, repeating what she knew she needed to say, and wondering why she couldn’t say it on the stand.  Ava meets Paul outside the courthouse, and tells him there is a letter in someone else’s possession that will go to the authorities, if she should meet with any ‘accident.’  Then she questions how he could kill complete strangers the way he has; he tells her she will never understand… but he gets family protecting family.  She tells him he should get out of town while he still can, and just stop the killing; she leaves.  Griffin prays for understanding, and for mercy toward his enemies, saying he knows there will be justice in the end.

09-19-2016 (Monday)

So, when Michael goes to tell his mother that Sabrina is dead, she tries to apologize and attempts to hug him, to make him feel better, but he pulls away.  He tells her just to leave him alone right now; she got what she wanted… Sabrina is gone.  He leaves and takes Teddy to the park to talk to him about his mother.  Nelle watches him; she follows him and, after hearing what he tells Teddy, she asks him if they can talk.  She lets him know that, before he showed up, his mother was telling her how bad she felt –that she had decided to accept Sabrina because she knew how much he loved her.

Griffin calls Claudette to talk; she acts all coy and thinks he may still want to be with her.  He tells her he wants to know what her agenda is… why she is inserting herself into Nathan and Maxi’s life.  She denies having any agenda; she tells him there’s a difference between helping people and saving them, saying she will let him ‘save’ her, if he tells her there’s a chance for them.  He tells her there is no chance; he wants to move on from the past, and asks her to just leave Maxi and Nathan alone.

Alexis thanks Julian for catching her, but quickly pulls herself together and gets up with Sam’s assistance.  The judge calls a five minute recess.  Sam and Alexis talk in the hallway; Sam tries to get her to go home, but Alexis refuses… she says she has to try to fix things, referring to her  sloppy testimony.  Paul calls Sonny to the stand next and questions him about the night Julian held a knife to Alexis throat; Sonny describes the scene – he sees Julian about to slice Alexis’ throat and he pulls his gun.  Julian knocked it out of his hands and they struggled; Sonny ended up stabbing him with the dagger.  Scotty cross-examines Sonny; he calls into question his character and past illegal/ criminal activities.  He then points out that the only person hurt that night was Julian.  Carly shows up and announces that Sabrina is dead; Paul calls Sabrina as a witness, and the judge refuses to allow her previously recorded deposition into evidence, since she isn’t there for Scotty to cross-examine.  Paul tells the judge that the state rests; they have no more witnesses.  Scotty announces that he has no witnesses either and closing arguments begin.  Paul makes a half-hearted attempt and Scotty gives it his all.  Alexis is concerned; Paul tells her its up to the jury now.

Nina talks to Maxi and Nathan about their wedding; she wants to do a photo shoot for the magazine.  Maxi is not thrilled that Nina is seemingly trying to take over control of her wedding; Nina swears Maxi is still in control – as she hands back her planner.  Spenelli shows up and Maxi gets excited to see him; she squeals.  Nina gives Nathan a hard time about it, asking if he is really alright with their relationship.  He says he is; Spenelli is part of the family, he says.

Spenelli tells Maxi that officiating Sam and Jason’s wedding is not the only reason he came to town.  He also wanted to let her know that there is literally NOTHING online about Claudette from the time of their break-up, forward; it seems as if somebody has erased her online presence.  Nathan comes out and Maxi tells him what Spenelli has discovered; he tells her he has to go to work.  Claudette calls him and says they need to talk.

09-16-2016 (Friday)

Alexis is sworn in; Paul tries to question her about the recording, Scotty objects and the judge sustains his objection.  Alexis tries describing the events of that day, but she gets obviously flustered and confused, recalling the conversation between them… eventually saying Julian told her he was guilty of the crime of loving her so much.  Paul, leading her to say that Julian admitted to her that he killed Carlos; the judge tells Alexis that she looks like she’s under the influence.  Alexis insists she is alright, but the judge orders the jury to strike Alexis testimony about the confession.

Alexis is clearly distraught, as clips of his attempts to kill her play in her mind, him taking her to the dock, holding the knife to her neck – Sonny and Jordan discuss whether or not Alexis has been drinking.  The judge calls for another recess; Sam asks Alexis if she had a drink (Jordan comes out, saying that’s what she wants to know) and Alexis admits to having had one.  Jordan looks pissed.  Alexis swears it was just a small glass of wine; she says her frustration is because he is staring at her, and she can’t think with him staring at her.  Court is called back into session; Alexis gets back on the stand, more composed than before.  It’s Scotty’s turn to cross-examine her; she admits that she knew about Julian’s history and “erroneous” link to Duke’s murder.  He begins to badger a bit; Paul objects, the judge sustains.  Alexis says she doesn’t believe in violence, and Scotty brings up her hitting a boy with a car, years ago, because he had allegedly hit her daughter, and her stabbing Alcazar and pushing him off the balcony… Julian stands up and tells Scotty to leave his wife alone.  The judges tells him to sit down; Scotty continues questioning and Alexis is not clear in her answers whatsoever.

Sam gets frustrated and stands up, saying he did in fact do it.  The judge orders Sam to sit down.  Scotty questions Alexis a while longer, and when Alexis steps down from the witness stand, she faints; Julian rushes out to catch her.  Monica wakes up; she now has the breathing tube out of her throat.  Jason is still there; he tells her that the killer injected her with Derisifol.  She tells Jason she remembers him telling her there is going to be another grandchild; she says it gave her the incentive to wake up.  Tracy comes in to talk to Monica; she tells her that Sabrina was the one who found her – and then tells her that she was murdered… probably by the same person who tried to kill her.  Monica is stunned.  Dante and Felix discuss who would or could have done this to Sabrina; Dante says it is someone with access, someone in plain view – and someone they would never expect.

Dante tells Michael that they need to take Sabrina to get DNA evidence as soon as possible; he asks for just a few more minutes with her.  He is having a really hard time telling her goodbye; Jason comes in and puts his hand on Michael’s shoulder (tear-jerking).  Dante determines this was an act of desperation on the part of the murderer, to keep Sabrina quiet; they, and Tracy and Monica, determine that they are going to have to close the doors of General Hospital before anybody else gets hurt.

As Felix says his goodbyes to Sabrina, he recalls moments with her (from the time they both came on the show, including her transformation from geek to beauty, preparation to marry Patrick, devastation after Robin’s return, and life since).  Carly is trying to reach Michael; Nelle shows up for work.  Nina comes in, obviously confused about who Nelle is (thinking she is a pregnant girl).  She apologizes.  Once they are formally introduced, Nelle thanks Nina for arranging her visit to Port Charles, to meet Joslyn’s family.  Nina says she was glad to be able to help; she then says, if Nelle is going to work for Carly, she needs a new outfit and she grabs her hand to take her up to Crimson to pick one out.  When Michael finally shows up to talk to Carly, she begins to apologize, telling him if he wants to marry Sabrina, he should marry Sabrina – Michael tells her it doesn’t matter anymore – Sabrina is dead.

09-15-2016 (Thursday)

At the courthouse, Julian asks Scotty if he pled guilty for him; Scotty says no, because he got a much better deal for him, showing him the envelope.  Paul shows up at the courthouse and Alexis says she was wondering if he was coming; he said he had something to take care of, but it’s done now.  Ava puts on a show in the courtroom, drawing everyone’s attention to them, pretending to be angry; then they stand there and talk quietly to each other as if no one else would notice.  Sonny notices.  The hearing begins; Paul gives a fairly reasonable opening statement for the prosecution of Julian… then Scotty asks for a conference in chambers.  The judge declares a recess, telling everyone not to go too far; Scotty offers his evidence:  the warrant used to record Julian’s confession was issued for the wrong address (2813, instead of 2183), making the warrant and the wire tap invalid.  The judge goes to consider the evidence, leaving court in recess.

After reviewing the evidence, she concludes the recording and such, being obtained illegally, must be thrown out of evidence – Scotty moves that the case be thrown out for insufficient evidence.  Paul says, despite the loss of the wire tap, the people have sufficient evidence to proceed.  Lulu and Dante talk about the evidence Robert found; there was never anyone named Daphne living at that address on Cassadine Island.  They discuss the embryo that might possibly still exist… and, finally, the fact that it would be Starvros’ child.  Dante finally voices his opinion, asking her if she is sure she would want to raise that man’s child – she questions if he couldn’t love it.  He says he would love any child of hers, but doesn’t understand why she would want to spawn anything from that family (neither do I).  Dante gets called to work; Kevin happens by and sits down.

Kevin asks Lulu if he can talk to her about her mother; she says her mother is off on some adventure.  They then talk about the embryo; and he questions her wanting this child, saying it would be product of the union between she and her attacker… a constant reminder of what happened to her and Dante.  He worries about the emotional reaction when that day comes; he asks if she is sure she is prepared to face that reality.  She insists they have thought most all of that through; she says she just needs to find that part of her that’s out there before she decides what to do.

Jason runs into Michael at the hospital; Michael tells him he is there to propose to Sabrina… A doctor then tells Jason that Monica was attacked and is in ICU.  There, Jason finds Tracy, who is thinking she may have made a mistake by keeping the hospital open.  Jason goes in to see Monica; he recalls years before, after his first accident, how she begged him to come back to the family and he just wanted to be left alone.  He says he didn’t understand at the time, because he didn’t have kids of his own – he gets it now – and he whispers to her that there is another one of the way.  He thanks her for how much she loved him, and calls her mom.  She opens her eyes.

Michael runs into Felix (literally, while texting Sabrina) and tells him that he is going to ask Sabrina to marry him.  Felix is thrilled.  They are right outside the door of the room where Sabrina is lying.  After describing his plans to Felix, Felix goes to prep that room for a new patient and he finds Sabrina on the floor, not breathing; he calls for help.  Michael runs in.  They try, briefly, to resuscitate her, but declare her dead; Michael is devastated.  As Michael and Felix stand the hall now, talking to Dante, the forensics team takes photos of Sabrina (now looking very pale, with bluish lips).  Dante tells them that the killer could be the same one who’s been killing patients… another inconvenient victim.  He says they have a picture of this man’s legs and boots from Elizabeth’s phone; Michael appears to be shock.  He asks to see her; he leans over her, telling her how much he loves her and how grateful he is for what short time they had together - he slips the ring on her finger.

09-14-2016 (Wednesday)

Franco tells Elizabeth and Hayden the whole story… that Liz’ father had an affair with Hayden’s mother; they don’t believe him, but he says he can prove it.  Elizabeth thinks he is trying to be funny right now, but he explains.  He tells them that although his initial information may have come from a lunatic, Naomi confirmed it.  He tells the story of his visit to the crazy hospital, finding Hayden’s mother there, etc., and it all makes sense to Hayden, so Elizabeth appears to believe.  Diane encourages Alexis; saying she’ll do fine on the witness stand.  Alexis says it is justice that she be the one to send him to prison for the rest of his life; they spend some time practicing in the courtroom.

Carly assures Sonny that Julian will be convicted.  He recalls how other evidence has disappeared and says you just never know what might happen.  She tells him she wishes she could stay with him, but has to get back to the Metro Court because Leo is sick and Olivia needs to stay with him.  Tracy tells Finn he needs to testify in front of board to keep the hospital from closing down; she says he needs to speak for the patients.  He reminds her that this board is the one who suspended him.

As Paul is leaving Monica’s office, he runs into Sabrina on her way in to talk to Monica; she finds her on the floor and runs to her.  Paul comes back into the office behind her and closes the door.  She turns around to ask what happened; he claims he doesn’t know, he came in and found he that way… says he was just going to get help.  She tells him to go get help now.  He doesn’t come back.  Sabrina gets Monica breathing and calls for help herself; the medic notices the injection mark on Monica’s neck.  Sabrina goes to tell an officer; she finds Paul, talking on the phone again.  She tells him, but then realizes he never went to get help; she questions this, he claims he told a nurse – then he gets a phone call and pulls his phone out of his pocket.  A rubber glove comes halfway out; Sabrina looks at it with horror.  She tries to leave and he grabs her, dragging her into another room.  She screams for him to let her go; he looks at her, almost sincerely sorry, and tells her he cannot do that.

Sonny goes to Julian’s cell to have a conversation with him before his trial, reminding him that his offer of protection in prison still stands, if he pleads guilty.  He asks him what he has decided; Julian tells him he is taking his chances at trial, saying he has friends.  Sonny does his best to intimidate Julian, telling him that he needs to own up to what he did and take the consequences.  After Sonny leaves, Scotty shows up, and Julian tells him he wants to plead guilty; he demands that Scotty go ‘make a deal.’  Scotty is given an envelope that he thinks might change things.

Carly walks up to hear Michael telling Tracy that he is going to propose to Sabrina tonight; she objects.  Tracy and Finn excuse themselves so mother and son can talk; Carly tells Michael that she doesn’t think they love each other the right way to get married… she says Sabrina hasn’t ever done anything to prove her love for him.  Hayden tells Finn she needs his help getting out of town; he says he won’t help her leave.  Instead, he asks her to come stay with him, as long as she needs – he says they will fight this, together.  She smiles; then federal agents show up to arrest her.  Paul shows up at the courthouse; Tracy questions why he’s late.  He says he had something to take care of, but it’s finished.  Sabrina lays on the floor, unconscious, as Michael sends her a text, saying he can’t wait to see her because has a surprise for her.

09-13-2016 (Tuesday)

Jordan calls Andre for a consult; she needs his help finding the hospital killer before they have to shut the hospital down.  After some discussion, Andre points out that maybe the power outage, the abandoned syringe and the attack on Elizabeth are all connected.  Andre, after some consideration, says that maybe they are looking at this the wrong way; it could be that this is not a true serial killer, but someone with an axe to grind – they start looking closer at each victim for a connection and find that they all had a ‘stomach bug’ that brought them in there.  They surmise that this could all be to try to get the hospital to close down; GH could be intended victim.

Tracy tells Sabrina that the hospital may be shutting down by tomorrow… she then goes to meet with Monica and tells her the board just voted to close the hospital.  Paul is on the phone with someone, telling them he wants to be there for them, but can’t leave until this is over.  He calls this person “sweetheart” and wishes them a happy birthday.  He finds Tracy and Monica having lunch and questions what their discussion is about; they fill him in on the latest board vote.  He is extremely interested; Tracy tells him that he better hurry up and find the hospital killer before the hospital closes down for good.

Morgan gets his replacement box of caps for Perks and they aren’t exactly what he had in mind, but the company name is spelled right; Kiki sees school books on the table and Morgan tells her they are his.  She looks surprised; she questions the sudden decision.  He gets upset that she isn’t being supportive; he tells her he is thinking about the future, and off-handedly insults her and her job working for his mother.  She tells him she has to get back to going nowhere and leaves.

Franco sits by Elizabeth’s side, waiting for her wake up; he whispers in her ear that she has a secret sister.  Sabrina comes in and insists that he go home and get some rest and something to eat, so that he isn’t delirious when Elizabeth wakes up.  He goes to the Metro Court bar and ends up talking to Kiki, mentioning that he wants Elizabeth to move in with him; she tells him he needs to (stop acting like Morgan)… to slow down let her family be there for her right now.  He then tells her there is something Elizabeth should know, and he’s not sure if he should tell her; he asks for her opinion.  She says some people are better of living in their own little world and telling her might not be the best option, but he has to do what he thinks is right.  Liz wakes up while Sabrina is in her room; she gets anxious and says she has to go – and starts pulling at her IV.  Sabrina stops her and tells her to just tell her what she needs, she will do it for her; Liz tells her about the diamonds and says she has to get them to the police.  Sabrina offers to go to her house to get them for her, as long as she promises to stay in bed; Sabrina leaves.

Hayden wakes up to see Finn giving himself another injection; she helps him, then, tells him she wants to do more.  He asks what she means; she says when she gets her diamonds back, she wants to sell them to fund his research.  She goes to the hospital, go in to see Elizabeth and tells her she wants her diamonds, informing Liz that she and Franco made a deal.  Elizabeth tells her it’s too late (Sabrina is handing the diamonds over to Nathan at this moment)… Liz tells Hayden they are coming for her, she better run – Hayden gets angry and starts screaming at Elizabeth, just as Franco comes in and tells her to back off.  He insists they need to get along, announcing that they are sisters.

Monica is in her office, making a call to tell someone she can’t make a meeting, as she has other things to take care of; her door opens, a man with a syringe walks in.  He grabs her from behind and injects her.

09-12-2016 (Monday)

Alexis rehearses her testimony, with Molly acting as Julian’s attorney (Scott Baldwin)… she gets a little stressed out and needs a break when Molly questions her about her knowledge of Julian’s actions prior to marrying him.  Sam and Jason discuss their plans for their wedding night; she tells him he should go to the hospital to be with Elizabeth – they have the rest of their lives to spend together.  He kisses her and tells her she is wonderful.  She goes to see her mother and ends up telling Molly that she is pregnant; Molly is excited to know before Kristina.

Hayden tells Franco that if she is going to give her blood to save Elizabeth’s life, now, she wants her diamonds back first.  Ava makes more threats to Paul, telling him, as District Attorney, that he better make sure the jury selection goes in Julian’s favor; she isn’t happy with two jurors in particular, but he says he couldn’t deny everyone that might vote against Julian or it would look suspicious.  Finn sits with Hayden while she makes her donation; she tells him she is grateful to have good people in her life for once, saying he really came through for her in proving her innocence.  Her mother comes in to see her, acting concerned and commending her for helping Elizabeth even though she accused her of trying to kill her; she tells her mom she didn’t have much choice after Franco told her the truth… but then, rather than admitting that she knows about her sister, she says she means that he told her the hospital records showed that they had the same blood type.

Scotty brags to Julian about the jury selection, telling him he got two guys on there who hate the police and one who’s wife recorded him fooling around with the nanny; Julian still does not seem hopeful.  Sabrina shows Michael her new hospital ID and he is not happy about it; he tells her he doesn’t want her working at GH until the killer is caught.  She tells him it is not his choice; she deserves a life of her own, and that life is at General Hospital. Sabrina comes back and tells Michael and Tracy that she just found out about Elizabeth being in surgery.  Tracy backs her up, telling Michael that she needs this job just as much as the hospital needs her; she says he needs to trust her judgment and support her choices.

Curtis finds Finn at the vending machines, losing his temper because the one he put his money in is not working; he is running late on taking his dose of medicine.  Curtis offers to help…bangs on the machine and gets Finn’s snack out; he thanks him, but leaves without the candy bar, in a hurry to inject.  He comes right back for the candy bar; Curtis notices the difference in his behavior and questions him, but he avoids answering.  He goes back into the room with Hayden and tells her he wants to take her home; after they get there, she admits to Finn that she blackmailed Franco.  He told her she would have done the right thing, no matter what; she smiles.

The girls encourage Alexis, telling her that she will do great giving her testimony; they embrace in a group hug.  Ava comes to see her brother; Scotty tells her that she needs to talk her brother into allowing him to destroy Alexis’ character.  She tells Julian she has faith that that he is going to get off; he asks if she knows something he doesn’t know.  She says, even if she did, she couldn’t talk about it here; but, she tells him she has a hunch he will walk out of the courtroom a free man.  Nurse Nancy finds Franco and Jason in the hall, and tells Franco that she was with Liz right before surgery and she asked for him; she said she wanted her to thank him for being there for her.  Jason is obviously not happy about that.

09-09-2016 (Friday)

Carly wakes Morgan up; he’s sleeping on the couch and he is half an hour late for work.  Carly asks him what’s going on, saying he’s been sluggish and down.  He swears he’s okay.  Nelle shows up at the door; Carly offers her a job, as her personal assistant.  Nelle turns her down.  Lulu remembers that there is a huge lab complex underneath the castle on Cassadine Island and she insists that they need to return to look for the embryo.  When Franco tells Hayden that he wants her to donate blood for Elizabeth, she says she can’t because she has a very rare blood type.  Franco says he knows; he ran it on the hospital database.  She questions how he could have done that, only being an art therapist; he lets her know he has his ways.

Griffin questions Sonny, as they sit together, having a beer at the Floating Rib; he is concerned about Alexis’ actions affecting the case against Julian.  He has a problem with her protecting him, having married him, after knowing he killed his father; Sonny tells him that he hopes he can give Alexis the benefit of doubt.  Franco tries to pick Hayden’s handcuffs, and gets caught when Jordan walks into the interrogation room.  Curtis and Finn bring Elizabeth’s phone into Jordan; they found a picture on it – the last picture taken – of a man’s legs, with cowboy boots standing at the top of the staircase.

Carly questions Nelle’s reasoning for turning her down; Nelle says she doesn’t want any charity and Carly swears to her this isn’t charity.  She needs to have this position filled immediately; she asks Nelle to look through the file for the job description and then they can talk.  She leaves; Morgan comes out to talk to Nelle (he really is acting weird now).  Lulu and Dante fill Robert in on what happened when they were on Cassadine Island; they all agree the address on the empty envelop is no coincidence, but Robert thinks there may be another way to get the answers other than going back to the island.  He makes a call and finds out that the house at that address has been abandoned for years and there is no record of anybody named Daphne living there.  Franco implores Finn to help find out if Hayden is, in fact, a match for Elizabeth’s blood type.  Franco, Curtis and Jordan now all stand in the interrogation room with Hayden; Paul comes in… Jordan shows him the picture on Elizabeth’s phone.  He questions the chain of custody and demands Hayden be taken back to her cell immediately.  Finn makes a call to the hospital and comes in to tell Jordan that Hayden is a match for Elizabeth’s rare RH/O-type blood.  Jordan has her escorted to the hospital and says she may be able to release her when they get back; although Paul objects, he concedes to the release.

Nelle changes her mind after talking to Morgan and accepts Carly’s offer to be her personal assistant.  Carly hugs her.  Morgan says he has to go do something; he grabs his computer and starts enrolling in school…full-time.  Carly is concerned about this rash decision.  She doesn’t understand his logic, so he explains – his conversation with Nelle made him realize that he is not working at Perks to serve coffee; he is there to learn more about marketing.  That’s what he wants to get a degree in (which is not a bad idea, but it is obvious that he is off-kilter and Carly knows it.)  Lulu is still obsessing about the message from Helena’s will, the envelope, Daphne, etc., and Dante is trying to convince her that this is all just one of Helena’s games, and he says she is playing right into her hands.  Lulu says they have to dig a little bit deeper.  Paul tells Jordan he will oversee this case personally; she says he seems overly interested in a simple assault case.  Hayden gets the call that she is being released, so of course, she turns around and starts being a bitch; calls several names and tells Franco that if he wants her blood for Elizabeth, she wants something from him first.  Figures.

09-08-2016 (Thursday)

Lulu and Maxi meet for lunch; Maxie tells her that she and Nathan have pushed back their wedding date…she mentions that Lulu may be in her second trimester by then.  Lulu starts to cry and says she has to go for a minute; gets up from the table and leaves.  Maxie is confused.  Griffin tells Franco that Elizabeth has lost too much blood, and they don’t have enough on hand – they are trying to find a match for her rare type.  Hayden has been denied bail and is handcuffed to the table, back in the interrogation room; she protests and insists on her innocence.  Valerie tells her Elizabeth says she pushed her; Hayden says she probably threw herself down the stairs just to set her up.

Lulu comes back to the table, all happy again and starts asking about color and theme – Maxie says way to change the topic.  She gets Lulu to tell her what’s wrong; she tells her the embryo is no longer viable; she cries a little bit, but then says they are blessed to have Rocco.  It’s okay; she tells Maxie she would really like the distraction of planning her wedding.  Robert calls Dante to meet; he has found something.  Dante calls Lulu and tells her to come see him; he needs to tell her something.

Lulu gets excited when she sees the picture of the fireproof freezer that survived the explosion at Criton-Clarke; it was unlocked with a key left in it.  She assumes that Helena took the emryo before she escaped the clinic and she must have taken it back to Cassadine Island.  She tells Dante they have to go back.  (Now, what I don’t understand is why she would want that embryo anyway; it was fathered by Starvros Cassadine.  Would she really want a child related to the Cassadine family?  She wants a baby of her own so bad that she's not even considering Dante's feelings?  I can’t believe that.)

Curtis goes to see Hayden; she tells him she is sleep deprived between the questioning, the arraignment and the processing.  He reminds her that she does have friends and tells her not to give up.  After he leaves, Franco comes in to see Hayden and tells her that she is going to save Elizabeth’s life.  She looks confused.

09-07-16 (Wednesday)

So, as Franco tries to talk to Elizabeth, finding it hard to tell her what she feels she has to know – that Hayden is her sister, Liz passes out.  The machines start beeping and Griffin rushes in; he tells Franco that it appears her spleen just ruptured.  They take her into emergency surgery.  After the wedding ceremony, Jason gets a call from Franco; Franco tells him to let Jake know that his mother might be dying.  Jason tells Sam he needs to go; she and Spinelli decide to go out to eat (she's craving ribs).  Griffin comes out and tells Franco and Jason that her spleen was allowing blood to flow into her abdominal cavity; and until (and if) they can get it repaired, her circumstances are grim.  They both offer to go give blood; Griffin tells Franco to pray.

Morgan opens a box of baseball caps he ordered; they are wrong… Ava lurks around the corner, hoping to see him explode.  He doesn’t, but he does mention waking up this morning “feeling off” a little bit.  Tracy finds Dillon in the park, taking pictures; she tells him he should fight for Kiki, that he needs to decide what he wants and go for it.  She tells him the worst choice you can make is to do nothing.  Kiki happens to stroll through the park on her way to return the caps; he tells her that he only wishes good things for her, always.  She kisses him on the cheek ad tells him thank you.

Sonny goes to check on Morgan at Perks, but Morgan isn’t there – he’s already headed home; instead, Ava is sitting there and Sonny confronts her.  They discuss Julian’s upcoming trial and mock each other’s confidence about the outcome.  He tells her she better not lay one finger on Morgan, trying to ruin his life again, or he will have to retaliate.  Morgan gets home; Carly notices that he seems ‘low’ and asks what’s wrong.  He swears he’s okay.  Kiki gets back to person to see Ava and Sonny fighting.  They both lie to her about what they are fighting over.

As Franco stares at Elizabeth’s empty bed, he recalls her telling him she loved him, and their first true relationship kiss.  He sees Griffin and asks if Elizabeth is out of surgery; Griffin tells him, no… he says they have a serious problem.

09-06-2016 (Tuesday)

Curtis and Finn meet at the pub, where they see Valerie come in to pick up sandwiches, still in uniform.  She overhears them discussing their belief in Hayden’s innocence and takes personal offense to Curtis’ statement that Hayden is being “railroaded.”  She and Curtis have a little ‘tif’ but then kiss n makeup; after she leaves, Curtis and Finn vow to prove Hayden’s innocence.

Sabrina is comforting Liz, while Michael attends the wedding; she tells her she considers her a friend.  Elizabeth confides in her about seeing Franco; Sabrina says she supports her… if she believes in Franco, so will she.  Monica mentions “the wedding” in front of Elizabeth – nobody had told her – she’s a little upset (but mostly looks like she’s really in a lot of pain).  She keeps grimacing and moving around, obviously very uncomfortable, but isn’t telling anyone she’s really hurting; and they don’t seem to notice.  I think we are going to have an emergency on our hands here before long with Elizabeth.  Having uncovered Paul’s secret, Ava is now blackmailing him into helping free Julian.  He promises her Julian will walk (they are talking in the hospital hallway; and not very quietly, I might add).  He tells her that Julian will walk – it’s just a long process – he has a chance to undermine each step along the way.  As Sabrina is leaving Elizabeth’s hospital room, she overhears this.  She actually confronts Paul, after Ava leaves; he lies, of course, but she knows he’s lying.  She heard him loud and clear.  Monica catches up with Sabrina before she gets on the elevator and asks her if she would rejoin the staff; Sabrina says she would love nothing more.

Hayden’s mom finally gets in to see her; they talk.  Naomi tells her she has “the attorneys” working on her case; they will get through this.  Hayden asks if she really believes she is innocent… Naomi hesitates in her answer, but then reassures her with sweet words.  Hayden tells her mother that her honesty means everything to her.  Naomi gets noticeably nervous at this point.  Franco goes to a quiet place to meditate and asks for clarity; afterward, he believes he found it.  He goes to see Elizabeth.

Spinelli asks the bride and groom if they are ready to be married.  The wedding starts… Sam and Jason make impromptu wedding vows, giggling and crying throughout.  They slip the rings on each other’s fingers, and Spenelli speaks eloquently, bringing about a beautiful conclusion to the ceremony.  Everyone begins dancing, until Jake and Danny decide they want cake; Sam and Jason stop dancing and cut the cake; Jason dobs icing on Sam’s nose.  Alexis gets a little emotional, as she tells Sam that she is glad she has found a man she can love AND trust.  Sonny congratulates the newlyweds; Jason and Michael have a nice talk, and Carly makes a toast to her 1st true friend, and then tells Sam that it took her far too long to appreciate her and she welcomes her to the family.  They clink their glasses and everyone notices that Sam is not drinking.  They admit to the group that Sam is pregnant; Spenelli gets her a glass of sparkling water and they toast again.  Valerie mentions that forensics show “the killer was no amateur”  - scene flashes to the top of the stairs, that fateful day.  It was PAUL who pushed Elizabeth!

09-02-2016 (Friday)

Franco talks to Elizabeth while she is sleeping; he tells her how beautiful she is, and how strong and amazing she is to survive such a fall… then mentions how awful it is that her sister did this to her.  She starts to wake and asks what he was saying.  Finn hands Hayden’s medical record to a nurse and asks her to make sure that the PCPD gets a complete copy of it; she questions the order, but he cuts her off and tells her just to do it.  Jason and Sam wake up together; they are ready for their big day.  Carly asks Sonny how their ‘special guest’ is; upstairs getting ready.  Sonny asks if she is sure she hasn’t gone overboard; she assures him she hasn’t.  Jake comes down stairs; Alexis arrives with the girls and Danny.  Sam and Jason joke about eloping, but get ready to head over to Sonny’s anyway.

Michael and Sabrina stop by the hospital on their way to the hospital, to see Monica; she tells them about Elizabeth.  Sabrina tells Michael to go on alone; she wants to stay with Elizabeth.  Franco is there when Liz wakes up.  Curtis arranges a meeting for Nina with an expectant mother; Curtis excuses himself… he tells Nina he has faith in her.  Unfortunately for Nina, Ava happens by (I guess they are in a public park); she sees Nina reaching out to touch the girl’s tummy, as the baby was kicking, and tells the girl not to let Nina near her baby.  She scares the girl away; Nina gets really pissed and yells at her, asking when she’s going to pay for her crimes.  Nathan breaks them up, and Ava leaves.  Nathan hugs his sister.

Carly is musing about how the theme is ‘Summer casual’ and she thinks Jason and Sam will be happy with that; they show up looking like they are dressed for a ball.  Kristina says, it’s okay… she went shopping yesterday, thinking they would show up in t-shirts and jeans, and has the perfect outfits picked out for them.   Franco tries to get in to see Hayden (he wants to let her know that he knows she is Liz’ sister), but the cop doesn’t buy his story.  Finn shows up; he tells them the hospital sent over her records and he is there to treat her (they let him go right in).  He phonied her records, to show that he has been treating her since the shooting last year; he gives her an antacid.  He asks how she’s doing; better, now that he is there, she says.  He blames himself for her being there, because he suggested the drink on the promenade; otherwise, she could have been gone before the cops got there.  She thinks she is doomed because of her volatile relationship with Elizabeth; no one will believe she didn’t do it.  Nathan and Paul come into Liz’ hospital room to ask her some questions.

As she recalls the evening, Liz remembers seeing him in Monica’s office (his memory flashes to the scene, where he is hiding a syringe behind his back); he gets seemingly uncomfortable.  She goes on recounting the events leading up to her getting pushed; Monica interrupts, saying Elizabeth needs to rest now.  Hayden’s mother tries to see her; she is turned away because the doctor is still in there.  Franco confronts Naomi; he says Hayden has been detained for trying to murder her sister.  He tells her he knows everything and says soon everyone else will know everything too; he starts to walk away.  She grabs his arm and tells him that no one else can ever know.  She says Elizabeth idolizes her father and she’s not in shape to learn that her parent’s perfect marriage was an illusion.  Monica breaks the news to Elizabeth that Sam and Jason are getting married today.  Carly surprises them with Spenelli (newly ordained, and ready to officiate their marriage).  Sam is thrilled.  The photographer takes pictures pre-wedding; everyone laughs and poses.  The music starts and Sam steps into the doorway; Jason eagerly waits.

09-01-2016 (Thursday)

Sam and Jason go to his hotel room, after a pre-wedding celebration planned by Molly; Sam says she and the baby are hungry, and Jason orders Noodle Buddha.  He tells Sam that he realized they are getting married just days before their fifth anniversary – he gives her the wooden chopsticks, as an anniversary present (wood, representing the 5th year).  Sam gets a fortune cookie that says she will live happily ever after.  Bobbi comes by to see Carly; Carly introduces her to Nelle.  While Nelle is putting Avery down for the night, Bobbi offers her services to Carly as their new nanny; Nelle appears to be disappointed when Carly tells her the news.

Michael and Sabrina bring Teddy in to The Floating Rib… they see Sonny, and then Joe (they introduce Sonny to Joe).  Joe asks Sabrina if they can talk; he says he would like to be able to see his nephew every now and then; Sabrina says of course.  Then he asks her if she has thought about their last conversation; she tells him she has, and she is happy with Michael.  There is to be no relationship between them other than him being Teddy’s uncle.  Sonny tells Michael that he can tell he is uncomfortable with Sabrina and Joe talking; Michael admits he is slightly jealous.  Sonny tells him if there is any chance that he has any resentment about the baby being Carlos’ biological child, he needs to talk to somebody about it, and talk to Sabrina.

Elizabeth is recovering in the hospital from her fall; Jordan is asking her questions.  She tells Jordan that she is sure Hayden pushed her, but she didn’t actually see her do it; however, she adds, Hayden did slap her just before that in the hallway (and a nurse that was on duty witnessed it).  Jordan agrees that is enough to warrant further investigation.  Franco tries to make her laugh, but Elizabeth is obviously in a lot of pain.  Hayden goes to see Finn, and tells him she is leaving town – he is sorry for the way he treated her before and asks her to let him drive her somewhere; they go to Perks and share a bottle of Jack Daniels.  He admits he doesn’t really want her to leave; asks her to tell him where she’s going.  She says if she tells him anything it puts him in a bad position – he remarks, “look at all the positions I put you in” and then laughs, adding that didn’t sound right.  She asks him to promise he will take care of himself; he says he’ll try.  She says a wise man once said, “Do… there is no try.”  He asks if she was quoting Yoda, and she says yes; after all, he was a Jedi master.  Finn tells Hayden he really wishes she wouldn’t leave, and he leans forward, and kisses her.

Sonny heads home; on his way out, Sonny tells Joe not to make the same mistakes his brother made.  Michael and Sabrina  talk, and both agree that they still want a future together.  Franco calls Jason; leaves him a message that he needs to talk to him about Elizabeth.  Jason listens to the message, but ignores it.  Franco sits down in a recliner next to Elizabeth’s bed and says he is going to stay for the night, and sleep like a baby.  Jordan finds Hayden and places her under arrest; she questions the charge- Jordan tells her, for attempted murder of Elizabeth Webber.
