Thursday, July 26, 2018 (S56E82): Here He Is!

Alexis comes to the hospital to tell Brad that the birth mother has given birth; she congratulates him and Lucas on becoming fathers.  Brad is surprised; the baby isn’t due until August 2nd.  Lucas is in surgery for the next two hours, so Brad gets to meet the baby first; it’s a boy… he tells Alexis and Julian that they have decided to name him Wiley – because he has been worth it, all the while.

Sonny tells Kevin they have to get Carly out of that mental hospital; Kevin tells Sonny “that might not be possible now.”  Mary Pat has Carly in her office; she gives her some medicine… Carly starts feeling weird.  Mary Pat tells her “before you know it, you’re going to feel like a new woman… and won’t be able to hurt anyone.”  Jason and Sonny tell Kevin they have to get in to see Carly, to let her know she is not alone.  Kevin says he will try to help.  Franco tells Elizabeth he has a new job; he shows up at Ferncliff.  Mary Pat warns him that some of these patients can be difficult; Franco says he has lots of experience with patients like that.  He is surprised to see Carly; Carly begs him to help her.  Mary Pat tells Franco that he should keep his distance from “that one,” implying that Carly can be very dangerous.  Mary Pat tells Carly it is time for her treatment; Kevin tells Jason that Dr. Lazerus’ treatment is “a last resort, reserved for those who are truly lost.”  Jason worries what it is going to do to Carly.  Franco comes back and tells Liz he isn’t sure he can do anything to help those poor souls at Ferncliff; Jason overhears…

Chase asks Michael if he is sure he doesn’t want to back out; Chase says he is ready to “pull the trigger.”  Kiki tells Ava she won’t be coming back to work after the baby is born; she then starts ranting about the baby blanket, and reminds Ava that they are “in this together.”  She begins to question what she is doing; Chase gives her the chance to back out of it, but she decides “Michael has to die.”  Chase tells her he has rigged the controls to fail after fifteen miles of driving; she says she will have him drop her off somewhere and establish an alibi.  Chase goes back to the station and tells Jordan that everything is going to be over with tonight.  Nelle asks Michael to drop her off at the hospital to meet with a lactation specialist, while he runs 20 miles out of town to get some glycerin lollipops for her labor.
