11-15-2017 (Wednesday) Keep Your Friends Close

Lulu brings Maxie a casserole and tells her, “I’m back.”  She has decided she wants to be a journalist and has written an article; they sit down to eat and she asks Maxie to take a look at it.  The minute Maxie does, she appears to get sick to her stomach; when it happens again, Lulu suspects Maxie is pregnant.  Maxie argues that she couldn't be, but she knows that she could.

"Cassie" shows up at the Metro Court, kisses Nina on the cheek and says she was very happy to get her phone call.  She sits down and Nina tells her she can “cut the act.”  Nina says she knows all about the fact that she and her husband used to be involved; she says, they tell each other everything.  Cassandra looks worried for a moment; Nina says she knows exactly what she was doing the other day when she ‘met’ her at the Metro Court, without letting Cassandra explain, and leans in to whisper, “and to be honest with you, I don’t blame you.”  She says she understands that ‘Cassie’ was just trying to spare their feelings, in case she and Charlotte didn’t know about their her past with Valentin.  Cassandra is relieved, especially when she also says she knows why she is there now, and only mentions her being there to be treated by Dr. Finn.  Nina insists that they should “be friends” and hang out together; she schedules a lunch date for later in the week.  After Cassandra leaves, Nina sips her drink and says to herself, “keep your friends close…”.

Scotty goes to see Julian; Julian says he wants to “talk about Alexis” and tells Scotty if he wasn’t behind bars he would wring his neck for having her come up there.  He complains about his treatment by other prisoners there; Scotty tells him to just keep his head down until he can get him out.  Alexis confronts Valentin; she says 'their' father is somewhere in hell, she is sure, "just beaming with pride over him."  She asks him if he is the one paying Olivia Jerome’s legal fees, or if he is going to deny knowing Nora Buchanan as well.  Alexis says she discovered a “really amazing co-incidence"; the same day he was awarded custody in family court, Nora was representing Olivia Jerome at her competency hearing… he says she was multi-tasking, but Alexis calls it “collusion.”  She says it’s “just a theory” of course, but one she “might feel compelled to share.”

Alexis tells him he has access she doesn’t have; he and Olivia sharing the “same out-of-state attorney,” with the hint that she will tell Sonny what she knows if he doesn’t get Olivia to help her protect Julian.  She tells him to do it by tomorrow or she will go see Sonny.  Scotty tells Julian he’s got nothing that will help him get out of there at this time, and says he may spend the next fifteen years there; when he is taken back to his cell, the guard tells Julian he better watch his back tonight.

Nelle interviews for a position at the hospital daycare center; Laura interviews her.  When asked why she left her last position, she claims it’s just because she loves working with children so much; she says she only took the job with Nina as a favor to her and never meant it to be permanent.  She says, she hopes that doesn’t sound underhanded because she hasn’t told Nina she was looking for other work.  Laura says she seems extremely qualified; “everything on paper looks just great,” she says.  All the rest is a formality; Nelle is a little unhappy that payday isn’t weekly, but she says she’ll make it work – “the kids are what matters,” she says.

Valentin goes to see Nora; he says he understands that she was visited by Alexis Davis today.  Nora acknowledges such, and says she wanted her to encourage Olivia Jerome to make a statement that would exonerate Julian Jerome; Valentin says that’s exactly what he wants her to do.  He says he might not be able to keep paying Ms. Jerome’s legal bills unless she does what he asks; Nora says that’s blackmail.  He says, “it’s a choice.”  Nora calls the facility where Olivia is being held and tells them she needs to speak to her client.

Lulu walks in to hear her mother talking with HR about hiring Nelle; she tells her there may be some things she needs to know about Nelle Benson.  Laura catches Nelle in the hallway and asks why she lied about being fired from Crimson; Nelle thanks her for her time and turns around to get on the elevator.  She notices Nathan talking to Amy at the counter (and I see the wheels turning).  Amy thanks Nathan for being such a good friend; he says it’s his pleasure.  Nelle recalls overhearing Maxie and Nathan’s conversation, that they and Amy AND Nina would be in trouble if anyone ever found out that Amy was the one writing the column this whole time.  She calls a reporter from the Invader and asks how much they pay for stories about celebrities, saying she has “inside info about Ask Man Landers.”  Laura thanks Lulu for letting her know about Nelle, saying they can’t have someone like that looking after the children; Lulu tells her mom, speaking of children, a close friend of hers might be pregnant.

11-14-2017 (Tuesday) Who Has Sam's Heart?

Monica sits and talks with Jason, after having talked with who we now know will be Drew; she says they “are different,” but she loves them both very, very much.  Jason says he doesn’t think it will be possible for him to put his life back together; Monica tells him he has a gift for making the impossible, possible.

Diane tells ‘Jason’ that she can no longer defend his claim that he is “Jason Morgan"  because she no longer believes he is.  He tells her she can go to hell and walks out; he runs into our old Jason coming in and says, “your lawyer is waiting.”  Jason tells Diane, “it’s just a name…” but Diane tells him it’s much more than that; she says all of their assets are “under a cloud” until they figure out who is who.

Sam says she doesn’t even know what to think right now.  Carly tells Sam she “gets it”; she told Sonny he’d lost his mind, until she saw Jason for herself… and she says she knows it too now.  Sam tells Carly she slept alone last night; ‘Jason’ stayed up.  Carly tells her “Andrew will fight for [her] and Jason won’t,” and says, she knows it; Sam starts to cry.  Carly says Andrew is a good man, and she knows he loves her, but Jason owns her heart, Carly says; she tells Sam being true to that would be the best thing for everyone.  Sam sits down… she remembers a dance with Jason from years ago.  She looks completely lost.

Anna talks about the unethical program the WSB had begun and Jordan asks if she thinks Andre continued their work; Anna says that would certainly explain a lot.  Someone picks up Andre’s driver’s license.Nina calls ‘Cassy’ to make arrangements for lunch at the Metro Court.

11-13-2017 (Monday) To Ashes

Franco tells Elizabeth he has a surprise for her; he says the boys had the idea, for them to go to Audrey’s so they could spend a quiet night by the fireplace.  He asks Liz what’s on her mind; she says, “the man who claims to be Jason.  She admits that it kind of took her “back five years” but assures Franco that she is in love with him now, and only him. Jordan announces that Jason and ‘Jason’ both match the DNA on file for Jason Morgan… ‘Jason’ accuses Jason of coming to town to try to take his life; Jason says Elizabeth came to visit him in lockup and told him that Susan Moore gave birth to identical twins.  ‘Jason’ tells the story he learned from Franco about the twin boys that Betsy helped Susan deliver, and how they hid one of the boys and sent the other to Port Charles to live with Alan; Drew was raised by Betsy Frank, except she said he died – ‘Jason’ says when he went to question her about it, she had skipped town.  He steps forward and says, “now we know why… Drew,” as he stares down Jason.  Carly says they must have Jason’s fingerprints on file; Jordan says Helena Cassadine somehow had them deleted from their system, but she says they’ll try to find them somewhere.

Scott believes that Franco knows which one is the real Jason; he says Franco needs to tell them.  Franco says that’s the last thing he wants to do.  Scotty says that Jason might be more understanding if he comes forward with what he knows; Franco says he can’t do that because he fears Elizabeth will go back to Jason, or Andrew, if they find out who is who, and he will lose her forever.  Liz steps out on the porch and asks if everything is alright and then Jordan shows up with Sam and both Jason’s; he admits that he had his suspicion that the certificate was fake and that one of them was really Andrew. But he says he couldn’t be sure, so he didn’t want to say anything.Alexis takes a trip to Pennsylvania to meet Nora Buchanan; Nora doesn’t look happy about it.  Alexis tells her about Julian, her client’s brother, and how he’s been targeted in prison; Nora doesn’t understand how that concerns her.  Alexis asks for a statement from Olivia admitting that she threatened Julian and forced him to do what he did; Nora says she can’t allow that because it would cause her mental health to come back under review and she would go to prison herself.  She shows Alexis to the door, as she states that she is “on retainer.”  Alexis asks who might be paying that; she says she knows it isn’t a sibling and questions again who it might be, but Nora declines to answer.  Alexis says if Nora thinks she can “stonewall” her, she’s got another thing coming.

Nelle is sneaking in to get her “last paycheck” – Maxie tells her to get out of there; Lulu comes by and asks if everything is okay.  Maxie says Nelle is just leaving, and she does; Maxie mentions Nina needing a new assistant and suggests Lulu take the job.  Lulu says that would be kind of awkward, given their prior dealings over Charlotte, but says she does want to do something more with her life now that the kids don’t need her at home all day.  Maxie says she understands.  Lulu gives her opinion on Maxie’s article, calling it “cute” and “a nice read” but she says it is a bit misleading; not only does it make it seem that Maxie encouraged Nathan to become Man Landers, but, she says, it almost seems as if a woman is writing Ask Man Landers’ stuff.  Maxie laughs, “haha, wouldn’t that be something.”  Nelle runs into Michael at the bar in the Metro Court; he says, even though they aren’t together, they could have some quiet time, together.  They have a decent conversation and Nelle excuses herself, thanking him for being nice to her.

Amy is upset because her brother still won’t talk to her; Nathan tells a lot of people get addicted to pain killers, and tries to reassure her that Chet will be okay.  She gets Nathan to go in to try talking to him as Man Landers, but he doesn’t even want to talk to him.  Amy leaves the room upset when Chet demands she go; Nathan follows and comforts her.  Amy realizes she has control; she goes in and tells Chet he is coming home with her whether he likes it or not because she isn’t giving up on him.  She threatens to have him declared a danger to himself and admitted to the psych ward if he doesn’t agree; she says she not only knows how to “work the system,” she “is the system.”  She thanks him for his cooperation and leaves the room.

Carly and Sam talk over drinks about their concern for Jason, Sam and Andrew; Carly says, once Sam knows for sure Jason is Jason, she is going to leave “Drew” brokenhearted, and Jason is going to have to accept that she has a baby with another man now.  She says, Drew may not be Jason, but he is still their friend and she is worried about him too; she says, what makes matters worse is that Franco holds the key to all of this.  Sonny agrees.  Elizabeth tells Franco she is going up to bed and kisses him goodnight; she says she hopes they can find Andre soon because he is probably the only one who tell them “which of these men are really Jason.”  Franco burns the paper he found in Andre’s office with one of their pictures and information on it (maybe even prints?) in the fireplace.

11-10-2017 (Friday) Who is the Real Jason?

Carly pours her and Sonny a glass of champagne; she wants to toast the fact that Michael kicked Nelle to the curb.  Jordan comes in and asks what they are celebrating; Sonny says it’s just been a long day… Jordan tells him that it’s not over yet.  She says they have business; she questions why Sonny posted bail for Dr. Klein.  He says he needed information from the man, -questions the PCPD couldn’t answer- but promises he walked out without a scratch.  He says he knows Dante arranged a DNA test for this guy and the guy formerly known as Jake Doe; he tells Jordan he and Carly want to know the results of that test.  Jordan tells them they will know after she knows and tells them not to bother asking Dante because she has taken him off the case; she doesn’t want his relationship with either of them getting in the way of the case she is building against Klein and his men.  Sonny tells her they are all just contractors for a guy that paid for their services; he says whoever it is, is right here in Port Charles.  Jordan says she wants to see the phone when Sonny mentions it; he says he will do what he can to see if he can find it.  Carly tells Sonny she doesn’t know which is more devastating; to find out that 5 years of your life have been “taken away” or to wake up one morning and realize that the life you are living isn’t your own.  Sonny says he has been wanting to call ‘Jason’ but he doesn’t know what to say; Carly says he may not be Jason, but he is still their friend.

Dr. Bensch tells Griffin he is looking to invest into some property, possibly down by the docks.  He sees Alexis in the hallway and they talk about the interruption at the launch party; he apologizes for not being there, and she tells him he was lucky.  He tells her he would be happy to wait until she has settled things in her life; she says he may not want to wait that long; he says something tells him she is worth it, and walks away.‘Jason’ goes to the family crypt, laying his helmet on the porch stoop, he steps inside.  Our old Jason asks Sam if he can come in; she lets him in, but says she isn’t sure it’s a good idea for him to be there.  Scout begins to cry; she tells Jason that’s her daughter.  She gets Scout and brings her down, introducing her to Jason as “Emily Scout Morgan” – Jason thanks her for naming her after his sister; Sam just nods her head.  Monica tells ‘Jason’ that the groundskeeper told her someone was wandering around the crypt; he says he came there to think.  They talk about the other Jason; Monica assures ‘Jason’ that he will always be here son… he tells her, the thing is, the other Jason may be her son too.  Monica questions this, stunned; she refers to Betsy and Heather as a “greedy gold digging tramp and her lunatic cousin.”  She assures ‘Jason’ that he will always have a home there, and will always have her; ‘Jason’ holds her hand.

Sam and Jason talk about where he has been; he says all he thought about was how to get back to her and Danny.  He says he is glad to know Danny is his, and not Franco’s, but assures her he always loved Danny – and does love him, no matter what – he says in his heart, he is theirs, and he just needed her to know that.  He asks about her father and she explains how she found out about Julian Jerome, and what an awful person he is; she says he “broke” her mother, mentioning Alexis struggle with alcohol because of him, and the fact that she still loves him – saying it’s just the kind of love that “just is,” that it can’t be denied, but how sometimes you just have to accept that the person you love that way just can’t be in your life.  Scout fusses, just slightly; Jason offers to pick her up while Sam goes to get a bottle… he tells Scout he was almost her father.  He fills her in on his family history, and how he and her mother met… and how they share that kind of love that just is.  Just at this point, ‘Jason’ walks in and sees Scout in Jason’s arms; he tells him to get away from his daughter.  Sam comes back out and tells ‘Jason’ it’s okay; Sonny and Carly show up at the door and Jason says he will go.  Sam says, “no” and tells them all “we can’t keep doing this.”  She says they have to figure out a way to deal with this; Jordan now shows up at the door, with the DNA test results of both men.  The tests confirm, both men are a match for Jason Morgan.

Monica still sits in the crypt; she reflects back on her reconnection to ‘Jason’ and how she said that she wanted to know the man he’d become and have a relationship with her son… then she reflects further back, to a conversation with the former Jason.  She tells Alan she could be on the verge of a real miracle and wishes he were there to witness it.

Kiki tries to persuade her mother to ignore the notes on the flash drive; but Ava says she needs to feel like herself again.  Alexis knocks on Ava’s door; Kiki grabs the flash drive from the computer before excusing herself.  Alexis tells Ava that Julian is in trouble; she tells her about him getting beaten up and how horrible he looked.  She begs Ava to “do something.”  Ava says she has no power anymore, no leverage because she left that world behind; she tells Alexis to do something herself, as a lawyer, saying she is obviously just as in love with him as ever.  Alexis gets upset and says she is just going to go; Ava says she is sorry, but she has no Calvary to send in anymore.  She asks Alexis if she doesn’t have “sponsor or something to help [her] figure these things out.”

Kiki shows the flash drive to Griffin and Dr. Bensch; Bensch tells her all it amounts to is “voo-doo.” Ava shows up, asking for Kiki and Griffin tells her he has the flash drive; he says he and Bensch agree it would be a bad idea to move forward and try to follow Dr. Klein’s directions because the procedure has never been officially tested.  He says it would be a huge gamble for any doctor, and her; she says she doesn’t need any doctor – just one.Alexis calls to request a visit with Olivia Jerome; she is given the name of her attorney of record – Nora Buchanon.

11-09-2017 (Thursday) Scars

S55E153  So I’ve fallen behind again a little bit; bare with me.  Research courses are tough, time consuming and I have my second Residency coming up soon in Dallas, but I will do my absolute best not to ever fall any farther behind than this.  Episodes start disappearing off of Hulu (and everywhere else apparently after two weeks – what’s up with that?)  I’d like to thank the YouTube Channel “GH General Hospital TV” (although the videos are often poor quality and I think it’s subbed from another country, because the voices don’t always sound like them, but…) it provides the necessary clips I need to find out what happened in those lost episodes.

*Okay, so Nelle goes to Valentin because she didn’t get anywhere with Nina regarding the raise she wants; she tells Valentin he needs to figure out how to make it happen.  She threatens to blackmail him with a picture on his phone; I couldn’t tell what it was.  She suggests that he give her something to “tide” her over until the end of the year; Valentin tells her that threatening him isn’t a good idea.  She asks, “what are you going to do, kill me?”  He tries to claim that he doesn’t care if she shows Nina that photo, but scares her badly enough that she runs out of his office.

Nina okays Maxie’s article to go to press; Cassandra walks into her office, calling herself “Cassy” and asks Nina to lunch.  She claims it was a coincidence that she found Nina’s office and tells her she won’t take no as an answer to lunch.  Nina tells her she just has to get this article done so she can get home to her family and they agree to make a date for another time.Jos asks Oscar if he’s found anything more about his father; he says “yeah” and shows her a CD; she says she might know where to find a CD player.  Jason and Sonny wait with Dr. Klein; he receives a phone call from his partner.  He tells the man they need to meet; his attempt fails.  Jason may still have an idea; he says he may be able to spare the man’s life. Jos and Oscar come in to see Sonny.  They tell him they need his help.  Jos asks if they can borrow his CD player; he says sure and asks what they need it for.  She tells him it’s “for a research project.”

Jason gets the information he needs from Klien; he says “any good doctor will be able to decipher it.”  Sonny comes back to his office.  Jason starts to leave; the man can’t believe he is handing him back over to Sonny.  Jason says, “he made your bail, he gets to decide what happens to him.”  Sonny tells the man he hasn’t decided what he is going to do with him yet; Jos and Oscar analyze the CD as sad music about two people in love who cannot be together for long.  They wonder what happened to break his parents up.  Sonny gets a phone, then tells Dr. Klein he is free to go; Klein questions why.  Sonny smiles and tells him, he doesn’t have the exact information but they do know his “client” is somewhere here in Port Charles; Klein looks worried.  Jos tells Oscar the lyrics from the last song, about bottling up love and throwing it in the sea, connecting that with the fact that his parents were in San Deigo together, by the sea.  They still aren’t sure how it gets him any closer to finding his father; Oscar wonders what his life would have been like if they’d stayed together.

Nelle is terribly upset when she gets back to the office; Nina notices.  She sits her down and Nelle starts crying; she reminds Nina of when she had her follow Vaentin.  She shows Nina the picture; it is Valentin kissing Cassandra.  At the same time, Cassandra is face to face with Valentin.  He doesn’t want to be seen with her, he tells her; he’s “only in this for the money.”  She lets him know that she has met his wife.  Nina notices that the picture is a month old and asks why she waited until just now to show it to her; Nelle claims she didn’t want to hurt her, but Nina realizes that she is using it as a bargaining chip because she didn’t get the raise.  She gets mad at Nelle and fires her; then Valentin comes in.  Nina is very angry and shoves paperwork off of her desk, saying she cannot believe she is in this situation with him again!  Valentin swears he and Cassandra were just business associates, and swears it was a long time ago.  He says there was never anything between them; Nina isn’t sure she believes him.

Ava tells Kiki that she is re-opening her gallery; Kiki is elated and hugs her.  They sit down and Ava, beaming, tells Kiki that she and Griffin have been “out in public a couple of times.”  Kiki tells her this is great; she’s back out in the world and has a wonderful man in her life… Ava says she isn’t sure about that.  Kiki tells her those are some intense feelings Griffin has for her, leaving the priesthood over them; Ava smiles.  When Kiki goes to leave, an envelope is on the floor; there is a flashdrive in it and it’s from “JM.”  Kiki thinks it’s medical code and may be Dr. Klein’s notes on how to treat severe burn scars.

‘Jason’ tells Sam he wants to get protection for Danny because he is worried about this “other guy running around town claiming to be him.”  He tells her he is worried she might be wondering if he is, since Carly and Sonny already believe it.  He says, “suddenly I’m nobody to them.”  She admits she’s a little confused and has mixed feelings; she assures him, however, that she loves HIM.  He is upset that she is showing this other Jason “sympathy” though; he shows her the picture he took from Franco and starts to tell her about Betsy Frank’s story.  He says he went to see her but she had already cleared out; Curtis is looking for more answers.  She assures him they are fine; she is the one he loves.  She agrees that it appears that someone set all this up, but, she says, she “doesn’t believe the other guy had anything to do with it.”

‘Jason’ wonders if that death certificate for Andrew Moore was faked, and if this guy looks like he used to because he is his twin… and if he was recruited to infiltrate his life, and why, to what end?  Sam says we will know where everyone stands soon enough; she’s sure he’ll be fingerprinted and they will run a DNA test.  They just have to wait; ‘Jason’ says that’s not one of his virtues.  Sam suggests he go for a motorcycle ride and clear his head; he agrees.  Our old Jason knocks on Sam’s door.

Live Chat with Kelly Monaco and Billy Miller (Sam and 'Jason')

11-09-2017 (Thursday):  Watched a chat with Billy Miller and Kelly Monaco; the real-life chemistry between them is amazing.  They talked about so many silly things, exercising, working with their co-stars, etc., then answered some questions from viewers, Billy holding the tablet and trying to read them.  Billy is quite funny; when asked who he would like to interact with more, he answered “I should probably call my mom and dad more.”  Made me laugh.

Kelly complained about Sam “wearing the same ‘fucking’ pair of boots for the past five years.”  That cracked me up.  They talked about the strange disease they gave her character “toxo-whatever” Billy says… she said it was fun playing that part; he said she certainly “pulled it off.”  Kelly gave a shout out to the “KellySquad”?  Billy talked about a cast parties, in particular a Christmas party and how much fun they were… and admitted to falling asleep during one of the coma scenes; they had to wake him up and tell him he was snoring!  That’s hilarious.

They laugh about how long it takes to learn their scenes; Kelly says Billy looks at it once and knows it and it takes her a week in advance to study.  Billy admitting to liking to drink at night and says that’s why he doesn’t us Twitter… hahaha; he also said that he has ended every relationship he’s ever had via a text that he thought was ‘sarcastic’ and says, “apparently sarcasm doesn’t work in a text.”  Lol.  Kelly admits that Billy is the funniest person on the set; she receives a compliment for her work on Spin City many years ago.

They joked about how much they “hate” each other, while at the same time admitting that they have grown extremely close, in actuality.  Kelly admits that she gets VERY emotional during the really touching scenes; Billy talked in his “Texas accent” (pretty sexy)!  They thanked a lady named Beverly for her help with the Mexico fundraiser, which they worked and then ended on a conversation about “boxers or briefs” – and Kelly let the “F” word slip more than few times!  It was a great conversation and I hope they do it again;-)

11-08-2017 (Wednesday – E152) Love and Support

Finn tells his patient he made it through the night; he looks at his wristband and sees his name is Chet Driscol.  He tells him it is a good day to be alive; the boy glares at him.  Nathan comes into the hospital on a call for an overdose.  He is surprised to hear that the person who overdosed is Amy’s brother; she says somewhere between the Center and here he got his hands on some pain killers; she cries and Nathan hugs her.  Outside the door, Amy begs Nathan not to arrest her brother. Nina tells Maxie that she likes her piece about Ask man Landers, but Maxie doesn’t seem very confident about it – think maybe she feels a little guilty for taking all the credit for ‘Landers’ popularity?  She smiles, though, when Nina tells her she did a good job.

Nelle is surprised to see someone elses stuff on her desk at Crimson; Maxie introduces herself.  She tells her she’s heard a lot about her from other people.  Nelle says she’s heard a lot about Maxie too, and suggests that they both agree not to believe everything they’ve heard.  Wow… Maxie’s a bitch a to her.  She lets Nelle know that she is going to be assisting both of her and Nina for now; she says, she’ll be getting the “corner office…with three windows” and will eventually get her own assistant; but, she tells Nelle, “for now, I’m going to need you to step up” – she starts giving her instructions about what she expects and how she likes her mocha.  She wants her to help keep her organized, get her supplies and tells her she can start by hanging up her coat!  What a diva.  Nelle storms into Nina’s office and tells her she wants a raise.  Nina says they’ve talked about that and Nelle pleads her case; she leads with all the work she’s done and what happened in Morrocco.  Nina says she deserves hazard pay for that, but she tells her she only has creative control, not financial… she says maybe she’ll find something in her Christmas stocking.  She tells Nelle that she would like her input on Maxie’s article later.

Amy thanks Nathan for the shoulder and says she understands if he does what he has to do; Nathan tells her he isn’t there to take Chet into custody.  He says he does need to talk to him thought, about where he got his pain killers.  Amy runs in and hugs her brother, and chews him out, telling him he should have called her; she says she would do anything for him; if says if that’s so, he wants her to “get out.”  Her sadness is obvious.  She agrees to leave the room, but then comes back in; she tells him she isn’t going to leave him, ever.  She tells him he is a hero; he says the real heroes didn’t come back.  He tells her she’s wasting her time with him and should go save someone else; she agrees to leave again, only because she’s working.  She tells Chet that she will be back, attempting to quote McArthur; Chet tells her that was The Terminator.  Nathan tells Amy that he thinks she should tell Chet about the book and all she’s done for him; she says she can’t do that.  Later, Amy sneaks back into her brother’s room, while he is sleeping; she says she is never going to give up him and orders him not to give up on himself either.

Nathan shows up at Crimson… Maxie tells Nathan she is so excited for the upcoming event, she says Ask Man Landers is going to be bigger than ever and people from here to Hong Kong are going to be looking to him for answers; he tells Maxie the problem is he doesn’t have a single one.  He a friend needed advice today and he didn’t know what to tell her; he couldn’t think of what to do or say.  Maxie says what counts is that he was there, and he gave a damn; he doesn’t feel that it’s enough.  He asks her if she knows how lucky they are; Maxie hugs him.  Nina sees them from her doorway, smiles and stares down at her ring.

11-07-2017 (Tuesday) Spice it Up

Valentin tells Anna he doesn’t want these drugs in their community; Anna urges him to be her spy.  He says, “no way in hell.”  He says he and Cassandra are at a stand off; fear of mutual destruction… if she becomes motivated to act, he says, “she becomes very, very dangerous.”  Anna says she never took him for a coward and asks why he is so afraid of Cassandra; he says her proposal is out of the question… he is not helping her.  He threatens to blow her investigation if she doesn’t.  Casandra’s assistant comes over and hands his phone to her; he says he got plenty of good pictures of the three of them together.  Cassandra calls Valentin and shows him the pictures; she wonders what Charlotte would think of him if she knew what he did with, and to, Claudette.  He tells her “he’s in.”

Charlotte talks to Nina about a figure skater they just saw in a Disney on Ice show; she wonders if she could do that when she grows up.  Nina tells her she can do anything she wants to do. Cassanda comes into the bar for a Strawberry Daquiri; living it up, she says because Dr. Finn tells her she is not allergic.  She looks over and sees Nina and Charlotte; she tells her male assistant that it might be time for an introduction, adding she needs to “kick it up a notch.”  She goes over and clumsily trips over Charlotte’s new skates; she starts a conversation about taking lessons when she was Charlotte’s age.  She tells Charlotte to master the basics and she’ll be able to do anything; Charlotte says that’s what her pappa always says.  Cassandra questions where her pappa is tonight.  We aren’t shown the rest of the conversation, but Cassandra tells them that she is very glad they met and believes they are going to be great friends; they take a selfie together before she leaves.

Valentin tells Anna Cassandra could split so fast, deep underground, and Anna will have nothing – all he has to do is say the word, he says.  Anna is insistent that she has to be stopped; he says that he wants Cassandra brought down, but he doesn’t want to be involved.  Maxie is all dressed up; she and Nathan are having a photo shoot in their home, for her ‘Meet Mrs. Ask Man Landers’ article; (the woman behind the man).  Maxie is trying to take credit for ‘discovering’ Man Landers; Amy is there writing questions and answers.  Maxie isn’t happy with what Amy wrote and decides to “spice it up a bit.”

Monica tells Finn that they have an opiod overdose, who is also showing signs of a infectious disease; she asks him to consult on the case.  She says if he can’t cure him, it will be his end.  Finn tells Monica this man has many past injuries; it appears he was probably a veteran… Monica says that’s probably where the opiod addiction started.  Finn says the guy has been through hell; Monica thanks Finn for staying.  She says she doesn’t think he would have made it, if he hadn’t; Finn says it’s no problem, reminding her he just had some time off.  Monica says these damn synthetic opiods are popping up everywhere; she worries what they are going to do.

Amy arrives to work to find that the patient Finn is treating is her brother, Chet. Alexis questions Julian about why he got beaten up; he says he could be a target of another crime boss.  She doesn’t think he is telling her everything; he says there is nothing to tell.  She asks about the sale of Derik Wells Media; he says he’s just trying to cut all ties, even though it looks like a mob-to-mob transfer, he swears it’s completely legitimate.  She breaks the news to Julian about the two Jasons; he asks how Sam can wrap her head around any of this.  Alexis says she can’t discuss Sam with him, just Jason.  She says Scott will have to sort everything out with him, she just wanted to let him know.  He thanks her and she tells him to “be careful in there.”  When Julian gets up to leave, another prisoner shoves him into a wall; the prisoner looks at Alexis and glares.

11-06-2017 (Monday) Valentin; A Spy?

Valentin appears in Anna’s house; she pulls a gun and asks what he’s doing there.  He says he is just returning the favor.  He asks Anna what she knows about he and Cassandra; she says that she knows about the smash n grab ring, and that she knows Cassandra is now into synthetic opiods.  He tells Anna that Cassandra has been trying to pull him into her operation, but, he says, he would never do something like that.  Anna asks him to help her; to tell Cassandra that he will join her operation, and then be Anna’s spy.

Griffin tells Cassandra there is nothing jumping out at him; he says he still has a couple more tests, that will take a few more days, and he will let her know when those results are in.  She thanks him and asks if maybe they could have a drink, socially; he says he will call her… when the results are in.  She smiles politely and leaves.Franco calls Elizabeth; he says she was gone when he went back to take her home.  He says he’s headed to the art therapy room to see if she’s there; she is actually going to visit Jason in jail.  She says she had to see him again, to make sure it was him; he says it is.  They talk about Jake, and that day in the park; she tries to tell him that Franco has changed.  She tells him how much he did for Jake, and how great he is with the boys; she tells him he lives with them now.

Jason says that doesn’t change anything for him; she tells him she has some information to tell him… that Susan Moore did have twin boys – and hid one of them away.  Franco tries to call Liz again; ‘Jason’ storms into his office and tells him to start talking.  He says he wants to know everything he knows about Andrew Moore; Franco tells him Andrew is Jason’s twin.  He explains how he didn’t even know the truth until recently; that Drew died of a heart defect before the age of 4.  Jason asks Elizabeth to tell her that she knows it’s him; she says she doesn’t know what to think… she just knew she needed to tell him what she knew.  He thanks her for the information about the twin; she says she’ll talk to Franco about getting him out of there.

Scotty tells Alexis that Julian needs her help; he says he was severely beaten in prison last week.  He needs her to go talk to him and convince him to stay away from these people who beat him up.  Diane comes, overhears, and tells Alexis she better not.  The next thing we see is Alexis in a small waiting room, with a glass window; Julian appears behind the glass and smiles at her.

11-03-2017 (Friday) Diane Has No Doubt

Ava runs into Griffin at GH when she goes for a follow up visit; she tells him “since Dr. Klein’s methods aren’t approved in the states” there will be no further improvement in her looks.  “What you see is what you get,” she says; Griffin lifts her chin gently and tells her what he sees is “beautiful.”  He tells her they need to go out to celebrate after she tells him she is booking an art show; she acts all embarrassed.

Alexis comes to check on Sam; ‘Jason’ fills her in on what happened after Sam was taken last night.  He tells her “someone” rescued Sam from the water; when Alexis asks who, Sam wakes up and says, “a man who says he’s Jason.”  Sam asks where Danny is; ‘Jason’ says he is at the Quartermaines.  Alexis says whoever “this man is,” they owe him their gratitude.  ‘Jason’ tells Alexis that this man who rescued Sam is being held at the PCPD right now because he had no identification and he calls him an “imposter.”  He says the guy “has done his research” because he beat Franco “pretty handedly.”  He kisses Sam and says he needs to go talk to Apiphany to get her out of there; Alexis asks Sam what she thinks about this guy that saved her.  Sam says he looks like Jason, and it felt like Jason… Alexis asks her what if this man’s story is true and it really is Jason, and what it means for her and her husband.  Sam says her husband is the only father Danny has ever known, and he is Scout’s father; she says they’ve spent the past two years falling in love all over again and building a life together – not attached to Sonny, Alexis adds.  ‘Jason’ comes back in and says she’s ready to go; Alexis excuses herself.

Diane and Sonny laugh about the irony of how the police are holding Jason as a “John Doe” since the man who took his place called himself “Jake Doe” for the better part of a year.  Diane is concerned that Sonny might “be being played” because she hasn’t seen Jason for herself yet; she tells Sonny he was already gone when she went down to the PCPD to have him released, which is a lie. Curtis comes into the station and teases Jordan about missing their lunch date; he says he understands though because of “this Jason thing” though.  They talk about what a “dead ringer” this dude is for the old Jason Morgan, compared to pictures they’ve seen; Curtis asks what she thinks is going on.  Jordan shakes her head and says, “all parties involved seem to be just as in the dark as we are.”   Scotty comes in to see “this poor soul that could use his expertise”; he looks in the window of the interrogation room and can hardly believe his eyes… Jason sits patiently waiting.  He asks Jordan what this man said his name was; she tells him “Jason Morgan” – she says his attorney of record is supposed to be Diane Miller, but she “seems to be a-wall right now” and asks if he would like to step in.  He says, “I don’t” and promptly leaves.  Curtis says he has to go; Jason is brought out of the interrogation room and taken back to a cell.

Sonny argues with Diane about how he knows this man is Jason and insists he is still at the PCPD waiting for her to get him released.  When the guard walks away, Jason calls out “Dr. Klein.”  A man in the cell across from him turns around; Jason says he’s lucky Sam survived, otherwise he’d kill him.  Klein says he knew he would save her; he says he has learned over the course of this disaster” that Jason is “extremely capable.”  He asks how long he was at that clinic; Klein says “long enough to dismantle a comfortable and secure operation”  - he says admitting Jason was the worst mistake he ever made.  Jason demands to know who was paying Klein to keep him.  Klein claims it was all anonymous.  Sonny convinces Diane to go meet this man for herself; he tells her to call when she is ready to admit that he’s Jason.  She leaves.  Sonny sees Ava and Griffin come in; he asks Ava for some information about the clinic and how she met Jason.  She tells him about Dr. Klien telling someone on the phone, “warning them, that Patient 6 was getting better.”  Then he showed up in Port Charles, she says, and that’s all she knows; Griffin can see Sonny is making Ava uncomfortable and he pulls her away.  Sonny calls Griffin “Father” and is shocked when Griffin tells him he isn’t a priest anymore.

The minute Diane sees Jason, she knows it is him; she tells him they have a lot to catch up on.  She says it is good to see him again; she said she’s always had her “doubts about that other guy.”  She says, “you are the one, the only Jason Morgan.”  He says that’s good to hear.  She suggests he plead insanity to get out of these charges; Jason refuses to do that and says she has to find another way.

Franco admits to Elizabeth that he also knew Jason had a twin, and he says he knows where he is; he pulls out the phony death certificate Andre gave him and hands it to her.  She asks about the name “Andrew Moore” and he explains that’s why he couldn’t find it before because he was looking for the wrong name; Liz reminds Franco that documents like that can be faked, but he says he doesn’t think Betsy would think about doing that.  Liz says they owe it to Jason and Sam to give them any information they have nonetheless.  Franco says they should wait to tell everyone until they are sure about what’s going on.  Scotty comes in and grabs Franco by the arm; he says he needs to talk to him.  Franco tells Scotty about Betsy claiming he tried to kill Jason’s twin when they were young; he jokes the last thing in the world he needs is two Jason Morgans who want him dead.  Plus, he says, if Elizabeth finds out what he did as a kid, she’ll be learning that he was a monster even back then, which mean all of the dark stuff wasn’t a product of the tumor.  Scotty says he has to tell the real Jason who he is; he agrees to keep quite for now.

Curtis meets with ‘Jason’ – ‘Jason’ says he needs Curtis’ help to figure all of this out, who this other Jason is, and how Franco is connected; he tells Curtis about the picture Franco had of the twin boys, and how he claimed to have lost it.  ‘Jason’ tells Curtis he called him because he trusts him and he needs to prove who he is to everyone else because the people closest to him are beginning to believe this guy is him.  Curtis tells him he believes in him and will find whatever he can; they shake hands.  He breaks into Andre’s office and finds another copy of the phony death certificate.

Griffin tells Ava not to tell Sonny get to her; she says maybe he has a point about her “corrupting” her.  He says she woke him up, to the life he wants to live and who he wants to be with.  Sam and Jason talk, now at home; Jason sternly wants to make sure that Sam knows this guy is a fraud… he says he’s a stranger, reminding her the HE is her husband.  In jail, Jason gets another visitor; it’s Elizabeth.

11-02-2017 (Thursday) Where Did Andre Go?

Franco, talking to himself in Andre's empty office, mentions the “two Jasons” and the both of them having all the same memories; he wonders how that could be.  Elizabeth shows up at the door.  She tells him she is cleared to go home; he isn’t sure he believes her.  She assures him she can clean her own wound, and she’ll have a few days off – so when the boys are at school, they’ll have the house to themselves.  He asks how she knew he was there; she says she didn’t.  She was looking for Dr. Maddox; Franco tells her he is pretty sure that Andre is leaving town for good.  They step out into the hall.

Sam wakes up to see Jason by her bedside; he tells her he just wanted her to know that she isn’t crazy…that he is there…it’s him, “Jason.”  She says she doesn’t understand what’s going on; he says he doesn’t either.  Danny walks in the door and asks, “who are you?”  Jason introduces himself as “an old friend of your mom’s” and says he remembers his uncle, who he was named after.  Danny brings a card over to his mother and asks Jason to help him up onto the bed; Jason says sure thing.  He picks Danny up; ‘Jason’ walks in the door and says, “put down my son.”  Danny tells his dad this is his mom’s friend from when he was a baby; ‘Jason’ scoffs at that and says he shouldn’t be there.  Jason turns around and tells ‘Jason’ that he doesn’t know what’s going on any more than he does, except for one thing; he says, “I am Jason Morgan.”  Carly takes Danny to the playroom; ‘Jason’ tells Jason if he doesn’t leave he will call security.  When Carly comes back, she tells ‘Jason’ that she is the one who told Jason he needed to come see Sam.

Apiphany hears screaming and comes in, shocked to see the old Jason; she tells everyone to leave, saying her only concern is her patient.  She asks Sam if she is okay; Sam says she just has a lot to think about now.  Apiphany says, “you certainly do.”  Out in the hall, Carly tells Jason this is all her fault; she says she never should have convinced herself that “he” was Jason – and maybe shouldn’t have told him to come see Sam – except that he should be with her, she says.  Jason looks down the hall and sees Franco.  He stomps over and just punches him.  Throwing Franco up against the elevator, he hits him again.  Franco falls down and Jason jumps on top of him and starts choking him.  Elizabeth screams for help; Apiphany calls for security.  Carly pulls Jason off and Franco gasps for air, blood dripping from his lip.  Jason asks why he is still alive; security comes and puts Jason in handcuffs and takes him away.  ‘Jason’ asks Carly if she really believes that man is Jason Morgan; he asks her, “if he is, who does that make me?”

Elizabeth wipes the blood from Franco’s lips and wonders why that looked like the old Jason; she starts to remember statements from prior conversations with Franco, and Monica, and puts it all together.  She realizes Franco knew Jason was alive; he says he didn’t want to believe it.  At the police station, Carly tries to explain to Jason about Franco’s tumor… and why she almost married him; Jason is relieved to find out that he and Franco are not actually related.

One of the Russian men finds Valentin on the docks; he tells him he owes him.  Valentin says his debt has been paid in full; the man begs him to help him get out of Port Charles and says he will owe him one.  Valentin and this man talk about the mess at the party; Valentin says he wasn’t professional.  The man says he was only trying to “fulfill an obligation to a client” and didn’t know “the price would be so steep.”  He asks Valentin if he hasn’t ever wanted to change the past; Valentin remembers Cassandra showing him Claudia’s picture, holding a newspaper.  The man says Valentin is his only option; Valentin says, “well, what d’ya know?”  He asks for safe passage out of the country and money to establish a new identity; he reminds him of the “excellent work” he’s done for him and his associates in the past, and says he can do it in the future.  Valentin makes a call; the man says “thank you.”  He is surprised when red and blue lights start flashing and the siren flares; Valentin tells the police officers this is the man they are looking for.

When they bring this man into the station, Jason recognizes him; Carly is calling Diane to help Jason out.  Jason tells her to tell Diane not to try too hard tonight because he needs a little time.  He says, “Sam’s husband was right about one thing; this is a set up… n somebody did it to both of us.”  He says he needs to find out who did it.

Andre shows up at Anna’s house; she invites him in.  He tells her he is there to say goodbye; she asks why, why so suddenly.  He says that’s how he came into town; he figured he’d leave that way too.  She tells him she owes him her life…that she was lost and he showed her the way out; he says it’s nice to have a satisfied customer and then asks her to remember, no matter what else she hears, that he really, really wanted to help people.  She asks what has happened.  He sarcastically mentions his “valued ability to determine a persons true character” and Anna adds, and a “cool head under pressure.”  He tells her he’s loved his time at GH, and the patients he’s had; he says he will miss it and turns away.  She steps in front of him and tells him he can trust her; he says he knows that and gives her a little disco ball to remember the night they danced together.  He says a choice he made before he came to Port Charles has finally caught up with him; she asks if it was his work with the WSB.  He says it started with good intentions; he set out to conquer one of humanities greatest fears – the loss of self – the painful and irreversible loss of memory.  He says he has all of his paperwork in this bag he carries; he’d hoped it would be his legacy but he says now it’s a curse.  He says he wants to tell her, but…  She offers him tea, saying the ritual helps you focus; he accepts, but when she returns to the room, he is gone.  Only the little disco ball remains on the table; she grabs her coat and runs out the door.  Andre throws a file folder full of papers in a garbage can on the docks; he sprays it with lighter fluid and sets it ablaze.

Finn meets with Cassandra; she inquires about he and “Ms. DeVane.”  Finn declines to answer, changing the subject to her health; she says she is more than eager to hear what he has learned.  He says that should be discussed in privacy; she say she understands.  She invites him and Anna over for dinner; he tells her that’s not a good idea.  She tells him that she never really thought Anna was right for him, that she doesn’t seem to care about his work; he says that she does, in fact, that she was the one who convinced him to take her on as a patient.  She says she stands corrected; he says he just can’t speak for Anna, promptly excuses himself and tells her to meet him later at the General Hospital to discuss her test results.  She wonders what that was all about.  Anna finds Finn at the hospital; he tells her he had the chance to tell Cassandra that they had broken up, but he didn’t.  He says he didn’t want to screw things up for her; Anna says it wouldn’t have been that big of a deal.  He tells her he is going to tell Cassandra there is nothing seriously wrong with her, then he will be out of her way; he tells her to be careful with Valentin.  Anna says she can take care of herself; he says he never doubted that.

11-01-2017 (Wednesday) It Is You

Nathan comes home from his all night shift to find Maxie standing at the door.  Maxie is upset that Nathan doesn’t want to be Man Landers anymore; she tells him getting her job back depends on it.  Amy is disappointed when she learns that Chet isn’t on his way yet after all; more so, that there is no explanation for the delay.  Maxie manages to talk the two of them into letting her do just one article before killing Man Landers for good.

Michael tells Dante that the “new Jason” never really felt like Jason to him; he’s been told about this other man his mother and father believe is Jason.  Dante asks what Michael thinks; he says he won’t know for sure until he sees him.

Sam dreams; she remembers Jason holding her and saying, “you’re here.”  She remembers hearing ‘Jason’ telling her “I’m your Jason.”  She opens her eyes and sees them both standing there, staring at her; when she clears her eyes, it just her current husband.  ‘Jason’ explains to her what happened, and then tells her that the other man she saw, who rescued her, was indeed real.  When she asks who this man is, ‘Jason’ tells her, “he claims he’s me.”  He tells her that Carly and Sonny also believe he is him; he says Sonny let it slip out – he says it’s like “they had this secret handshake between them.”  Sam recollects being in Jason’s arms; she mentions Sonny’s house, asking if he took her there.  ‘Jason’ says yes and then tells her how this other man reacted to Sonny, not putting her down until Sonny said it was okay, then backing off.

Andre is shocked when he walks into his office and sees a screaming Halloween decoration; Franco stands behind the door and asks him to confirm that Andrew is alive.  He laughs about the decoration being a dead kid, rising from the grave; Andre doesn’t find it amusing.  He says he knows the death certificate was just to keep him from finding out the truth; he asks Andre if he was involved with the shooting and if it all revolves around Andrew.  Andre admits that Andrew is alive.  He says he “tampered with somebody’s mind, messed with his memory, and now two people think they are the same person.”  He admits that he invented a program to copy of person’s memory and put them into another person; since the WSB didn’t want to risk it, he found other means… another doctor offered to back him.

He was brought a patient and was paid to try the technique before it was truly perfected; five years ago, he says, he was brought a shooting victim who had been pulled from the water.  Franco realizes that was Jason Morgan; he then ponders whether the Jason he has come to “get along with” over the past few years “remembers the bad things” he did to him and Sam, and if the other is the one who actually “lived it” or if it’s the other way around.  He asks, “who’s who?… what’s what?”  Andre is packing the things from his office, frantically, as Franco asks, “who is Jason?”  He insists Andre must know; Andre says he has sent a document to the printer that will tell him everything he needs to know.  Franco looks over and sees the printer printing; Andre darts out the door.  Franco looks at the printed paper and says, “oh my God.”

Carly is on the phone with Diane; Diane tells her Jason isn’t at the station anymore.  She asks where he is; he walks in the door.  She runs to him and hugs him; hanging onto him, she says she loves him so much.  He tells her to take a breath.  They talk… he explains what he has been through, and how he learned that he had lost five years of his life.  He goes on to say that it could have been worse; he could have come back to find that something had happened to her or Sonny or Michael or Danny or Sam; he says, instead he gained two people… Robin and Jake.  He tells her he is sad about Morgan; she nods.  They talk about how much he grew in those five years; she tells him that he had bipolar disorder, but quickly changes the subject to him being back again.  She says he should go see Sam; Jason asks if “that guy who says he’s me” loves her… Carly says, “very much.”  He asks if he is good to her; she says yes.  Still, she says, they love each other too and she deserves to know he’s alive.  He goes to Sam’s hospital room and walks in; she turns and sees him.  She says, “it is you.”  He say, “yeah, it’s me.”

10-31-2017 (Tuesday) Who is Who?

‘Jason’ tells Jason that he wants him to “put [his] wife down now!”  Jason sets her on the couch; ‘Jason’ says they need to take her to the hospital, but Jason says it’s not safe.  He questions who the hell he is and asks Sonny why he is backing him; Sonny says there is a lot ‘Jason’ doesn’t know.  Andre complains that he didn’t sign up for any of this; the Russian man tells him he isn’t the only one who’s grand plans have been shot to hell.  He says this isn’t safe for him anymore, or for anyone; he says, “just ask Sam Morgan.”  Sam comes to; the doctor tells her she is at General Hospital.  She mentions being under the water and says, “he was there.”  The doctor tells her that her husband is right outside the door.

Jason is taken to the station for questioning and Carly storms into the interrogation room; Jordan says she can’t be there, but Carly says she isn’t leaving.  She tells Jordan, “he isn’t talking” and Jason says he has nothing to say without his attorney; Carly smiles.  Jordan says she is going to run “this man’s fingerprints” and Carly says it will tell her what she already knows; “this man is Jason Morgan,” she says.

Nina and Valentin reach the pier, awaiting the boat to Wyndemere; they here a man’s voice.  Valentin finds the Russian who was shot by Jason; the man asks him to call his employer “Dr. Klein.”   Dante shows up and asks Valentin if the man said anything about Sam; Valentin asks the man about the girl he kidnapped – he says he doesn’t know.  “The Patient took her,” he adds.  Dante, not understanding Russian, asks Valentin what he said; he says he just wants a doctor.  After Dante leaves, Nina tells Valentin it took the man a long time just to say he wanted a doctor; she asks why he said the name Dr. Klein.  He claims not to know.  The launch shows up; he helps Nina aboard.  He gets a text from Dr. Klien; it says, “I need your help now.”  He tells Nina it’s nothing and gets on the boat.

Finn shows up on Anna’s doorstep, saying, “trick or treat.”  She invites him in and thanks him for his performance tonight; he complains about the whole situation.  Anna tells him that Felicia is a very protective friend, adding that she gave him a “solid ‘B’.”  Finn is offended with a ‘B’ and proclaims that he doesn’t want an average score; Anna says technically a ‘C’ is average.  They laugh and talk, then Finn tells Anna that Cassandra’s test results came back; she isn’t sick, he says, and it’s time for this to be over.  Anna says he could make something up, but he says he can’t risk his license like that; he says he needs to be a doctor.  They agree that they need to break up, and not to make a big deal out of it; Anna tells him he is “not a sucky person” and he says, “back at ya.”  He leaves.

Laura gets dressed in a fancy red dress; Kevin shows up in a tux for their date.  He tells her that he is a little scared about the thought of marriage, but that it frightens him even more to think of not being her husband.  He says he wants the commitment, but he isn’t sure about her.  He questions her initial rejection of his proposal; she admits there is more to it than that… she says she has always been sure about him, about them, and she is ready for this.  She says she is, he gets down on one knee and tells her how much he loves her and asks her to be his wife; she stumbles over the answer but does say “yes.”  He turns on music and asks for a first dance as an engaged couple.

10-30-2017 (Monday) The Friend

Sonny and Carly get home and she demands that he tell her what is going on; he tells her the man that came through the skylight was Jason.  The man on the docks pushes Sam into the water and runs; Jason jumps in the water to save her.  It takes him a while, but he finds her and starts to bring her to the surface; her feet are tangled, somehow, in some ropes.  He tries to untangle her; it takes him a while, but he gets her out of the water.  She isn’t breathing; he begins chest compression and she spits up water.  He tries talking to her, but she is still out of it; she looks at him and says, “you’re here.”  He looks at her; she asks how he found her.  He says he just did; she passes out again.  He picks her up to take her to the hospital, I assume.

Jordan comes to the scene and questions Dante about what happened; he tells her a third ‘perp’ took off with Sam as a hostage.  Monica goes to the hospital to tell ‘Jason’ that Sam was taken; she tells him a man came through the skylight and looked like he was going to rescue her.  He leaves to find Sam.  Jordan questions Monica about the man she saw, but Monica can’t put the words together to say that he looked like Jason.  Jordan gets a call; Franco tries to talk to Monica, but she says not now, and walks away.  Monica goes to talk to Elizabeth; Monica tells her about Sam being abducted; she mentions the man who was right on their tail.  She says, if she didn’t know any better, she would say it was Jason… but, she says, ‘Jason’ was right there at the hospital with her.  Franco steps in the doorway; he hears Monica say that the only way that could be possible is if there were TWO JASONS.  Franco tells Andre that he believes there is more to this story and what happened at the Metro Court; he thinks it has something to do with Jason and Andrew Moore.  Andre tells Franco he will have to make an appointment if he wants to talk.

Ava comes to the hospital and tells Griffin that their friend from Russia came crashing through the skylight and went after Sam.  He suggests that they change the scenery; they go to a bar for drinks.  Ava says she did her job, notifying the police; she suggests they spend the rest of the time, enjoying the night.  She laughs about them being out in public and asks if he feels all the eyes on him; he says, “only two.”  They discuss how they would like to spend time, alone, together again; Ava thinks they should not, tonight, though.  Griffin asks her to agree to a second date; of course, she does.

Joslyn shows up at Oscar’s, dressed in her Halloween costume; she asks if his mom can take a picture of them.  He says his mom isn’t home; she’s working late again.  Jos says then, if they have the whole place to themselves, they should make the most of it.  She says it’s the perfect time “to do it.”  She says she knows “all the tricks” and has “been doing it for years.”  He thinks she is talking about having sex, but she’s talking about snooping for clues about his dad.  She is disappointed that her powers of prying failed her; Oscar says his mom probably did the opposite of what most parents would do.  Jos picks up a copy of Man Landers’ book off the coffee table, and happens to find a letter addressed to his mother, from San Diego.

Sonny tries to tell Carly about his meeting with Jason, but when he tells her Jason pulled a gun on him, she says that is his proof; their Jason would never pull a gun on him she says.  Sonny assures her it was him, trying to explain, he was just being cautious; the doorbell rings… it’s Jordan.  She asks about the “friend” Sonny came with, that came through the skylight; Sonny says he saw what everyone else saw.  Jordan leaves.  Carly tells Sonny she is just worried that his judgment may have been affected a little bit; Sonny tells her he knows his best friend.  ‘Jason’ shows up at Sonny’s asking if they know where Sam was taken; Sonny says he doesn’t know.  At that moment, Jason bursts in the door, carrying Sam.

10-27-2017 (Friday) The Choice

After Ava and Griffin inform Dante of the presence of the two Russian men, the standoff ensues.  The one man shoots at Dante, Dante falls to the ground then gets back up; the other man approaches him and tells him to drop his gun.  Ava calls 911; one of the men catch her.  He says now they’ll just wait for the police to decide what to do; he has Sam collect all the cell phones.  Carly texts Sonny.  Elizabeth discovers that she is bleeding.Felicia and Mac wait to meet with Anna and Finn at Kelly’s Diner; Mac says Finn is way too uptight to keep up with Anna.  Anna tells Finn she doesn’t like deceiving her friends any more than she has to; she says they need to stick to the truth as much as possible until Cassandra drops her guard and she can bust her for drug trafficking.

Cassandra meets with Valentin on the docks; Valentin tells her that “the cavalry has arrived.”  Finn and Anna do their best to “tell the truth as much as possible” while convincing Mac and Felicia that they are really a couple.  Valentin hands Cassandra four profiles of other men; she refuses all of them… she says she wants the best, and only he will do.  She says she shouldn’t have presented this situation as an offer; he has no say in this matter.  She shows him a photo; he asks why he should care about it.  She says it “fell” into her hands and who’s hands it falls into next depends on him.

Mac tries to give Finn a hard time about Anna; Finn flatters Mac by telling him that he is Anna’s hero.  Anna tells Felicia that this thing with Finn probably won’t last very long; Felicia urges her to go for it, with all she has.  Finn gets a call; there is something going on at the hospital and he is needed.  Felicia presses them to kiss goodbye before he leaves; Anna looks embarrassed.  Mac tells Anna that Finn seems like a nice guy, who cares about her, and she could do worse.

Sonny asks Jason why he left the Quartermaines all those years ago; he says because they thought he was damaged, and wanted to control his life and make all his decisions for him.  Sonny asks if that isn’t what he is trying to do to Sam, if he doesn’t tell her the truth.  Sonny gets Carly’s text; he says she’s in trouble… Jason says, “let’s go.”  Sonny walks into the Metro Court; the police try to stop him but he gets on the elevator anyway.  Sam finishes collecting phones and sits the tray down; she throws one of the phones at one of the men and ‘Jason’ grabs him when he ducks.  The other man grabs Carly; telling Dante to ‘back up or she dies.”  Jason is up on the roof, looking down at Carly being held by this man; Sonny walks in, holding a gun and tells he man he better let her go or he will kill him.  He tells the man to drop the gun, get on his knees and ask for a lawyer; Dante arrests the man when he kneels down.

Carly hugs Sonny, asking where he has been; he tells her she won’t believe him when he tells her.  Griffin checks Liz and tells her the wound isn’t too bad, but she needs to go to GH to be checked out anyway.  ‘Jason’ tells Sam he is going to take her; she tells him to go.  He carries Elizabeth out of there.  Dante questions where these men came from; she says she hired them through the same temp agency she always uses.  A third man, who wasn’t detected, grabs Sam and injects her with something; Jason sees this, breaks out the skylight and jumps down into the room.  Carly can’t believe her eyes; Jason holds a gun, but the man holds Sam in front of him.  He pushes some people down and drags Sam out with him; Jason goes after them.  Monica isn’t sure what she saw; she asks who that man was.  Carly asks Sonny what is going on; Sonny says they will talk about that later – right now, they need to find Sam, he says.  Carly says they also need to let ‘Jason’ know that Sam has been taken.

Franco inquires how Andre got a hold of the death certificate; Andre says he performed a search using Jason and Andrew’s biological mother’s surname, Moore.  He points out that the cause of death is “heart failure” not a fall down the stairs.  Andre suggests Franco stop talking to Betsy about this; he says her lies are making this harder for him.  He tells him to accept this and just leave it alone now.  Franco sees Elizabeth being brought into the ER, bleeding.Nina calls Valentin and asks him to come and get her; when he gets there, she asks what took so long.  He flashes back to Cassandra handing him that picture; it was a picture of Claudette… she told him she met a new “acquaintance” and she’s very talkative.  Valentin just hugs Nina and says he is sorry; she says she just wants to go home.

Dante questions Sonny about who the guy that came through the skylight was; the man comes down to the docks with Sam and meets another.  He tells this other man, they accomplished what they wanted; they flushed “6” out of hiding.  Jason appears, gun aimed at these men; he tells them to let her go.  The one man says he doesn’t want anything more to do with this and starts to leave; Jason shoots him.  The other man tells Jason he can shoot him, or “save her” – he pushes Sam forward toward the water and runs.

10-26-2017 (Thursday) Welcome Home Jason

When Nelle gets back to Crimson, Michael tells her they aren’t going anywhere tonight; she asks why not.  He tells her he knows the truth about the tickets; he says Nina told him that she didn’t get them for them.  Then he asks her why she told his mom they were moving in together; she just looks lost – she says she didn’t, but she may have let her believe that, she admits.  She also admits to buying the tickets herself, apologizes and says they can go to the party after all; Michael tells her it’s too late.  He says she can stop playing games with him because they don’t work.  Nelle argues that his mom and dad do everything they can to make him think the worst of her; he says she does that all by herself.  She asks him if that means he is breaking up with her.  He says they have irreconcilable differences; he is tired of turning around to find her telling him another lie.  She asks if he thinks she killed her fiancĂ©.  He says no; they just can’t have anything real without trust, and he doesn’t trust her.  He says he can’t; he gives her, her key back and tells her to call the ‘super’ if she has any problems.  He says he’s not sure the person he loved ever existed and leaves.

Molly sees her mom at the launch party; Alexis says David was supposed to be there but got held up at the hospital.  Molly says she is glad Alexis is seeing him; Alexis says they are just friends.  Molly reminds her mom that Julian is going to be in prison for a long time and says she is glad to see her “getting back out there.”  Carly welcomes ‘Jason’ and Sam to their party; they tell her she really out did herself.  Elizabeth asks Franco if he is sure he doesn’t want to go to the party with her; he says he is the last person Jason would want to see there.  Molly takes a group selfie of her, her mom and Sam, to send to Kristina; Alexis tells Sam she is really happy for her.  Monica tells ‘Jason’ that she is sure Allen would be smiling down on this; she apologizes for trying to control him earlier in life.  He says it’s in the past and hugs her.

Griffin asks Ava if she wants to call the police and tell them that a man who looks like Jason Morgan is in town and some really bad people might be after him; she says absolutely not.  She says that would just make trouble for this man and he’s already got trouble enough.  She decides to let Griffin take her to Sam and ‘Jason’s launch party; she says even if Patient 6 isn’t there, Sonny will be and she wants to find out what happened with the note she gave him.  When they get there, Carly isn’t happy to see Ava; she tells her to get out, and tells Griffin that Sonny wouldn’t back him up on ‘this.”  Sam and Jason announce the new name of their company; it will be known as Aurora media.  Griffin notices two men at the party who he says were in St. Petersburg, Russia; he tells Ava.  They go tell Dante; there are two men there who could be a threat.  He tells them they were looking for a man who may have ties to Jason Morgan.  Dante goes to tell ‘Jason.’

Andre tells his Russian friend that he is concerned people will find out that Jason is here, and what part he played in "it."  The man tells him it is being taken care of as they speak; Andre says just catching Jason isn’t all they have to worry about.  He tells the man that Franco is “getting closer to the truth about Andrew” and the man hands him an envelope; something to throw Franco off the scent, he says.  Andre asks how the man “produced this.”  The man says it doesn’t matter; he says it should end all of Franco’s questions.  Andre says not to be sure, saying Franco is borderline obsessive about this; Franco comes in the office telling Andre they need to talk.  He asks the Russian man who he is; Franco says he has figured out that Andrew is still alive.  Andre confirms he hasn’t told Liz this yet; Andre hands him the paper the man gave him earlier.

Jason thanks Sonny for believing him; Sonny says he wanted to believe him right away, but you never know.  Jason says he understands; a lot is riding on this, he says.  Sonny agrees; he says he trusts him even more than Carly because her judgment sucks… Jason says, “not always” and Sonny laughs about how he always defends her.  He says Carly is going to lose it when she sees their Jason alive.  He says there is so much to catch up on he doesn’t know where to start; Jason says he does, and he asks about the little boy he saw in the park – too old to be Aiden.  He says he mentioned Jake’s name and the boy asked who was there; Jason confirms that was Jake and is stunned to learn that he is alive.  He begins to cry and asks how; Sonny tells him the whole ‘death’ was staged by Helena Cassadine.  Jason asks why; Sonny says he needs a drink and offers one to Jason too.

Sonny says, “no matter what happens next, or how messy it gets, welcome home buddy.”  Sonny shocks Jason again when he starts talking about Robyn and tells him that she is alive too.  Jason asks more about this other ‘Jason’ and how he came to town; he asks Sonny how he knows this guy isn’t in on this whole thing with Helena.  Sonny tells Jason that this man didn’t want to be him; he says he fought them on the issue, until the DNA test said he was.  Sonny says they need to go tell Carly and Sam.  Jason says he doesn’t want to disrupt Sam’s life; "she loves this guy, he says."  Sonny exclaims, “she thinks he is you!”  Sonny says he is a good guy and he has good intentions, but he is not Jason.  He says Jason needs to go to Sam and tell her he is alive; back at the party

'Jason' and Dante decide how to take these two men down without making everyone panic.  The one man yells, “Greg, we’re blown,” pulling out his gun.  The other yells, “everybody down!” and pulls out his gun.  Dante faces this man with his gun drawn as well.

10-25-2017 (Wednesday) I Know It's You

Michael comes to see Nelle at Crimson; he hears her on the phone and says she has a gift of being “all things to all people.”  She questions what he means by that; he says she was so convincing, as “noble and selfless” as Jos’ kidney donor, “cheerful and efficient” as Carly’s assistant, “kind and sympathetic” when she found out Morgan died… all the while, setting up his father.  She asks why he’s bringing all this up now; he brings up the mental hospital.  She says she didn’t want to be judged; he reminds her that his brother and father had/have a mental illness.  She says she didn’t have a mental illness; she had “a breakdown.”  She tells him he wouldn’t understand; he tells her to try him.  She says she just crashed after she ran as fast as she could, as long as she could, trying to get away from her dad.  Michael apologizes; she asks him to quit looking into her life for dirt.  He says he was trying to prove her innocence; she says that’s not how it feels, asking him how he would feel if she went digging into his life.  He admits there may be some things she still doesn’t know about him; he hasn’t made a full disclosure yet either.

Nina is resting in the sauna; Maxie comes in to talk to her about coming back to Crimson.  She has a list of demands printed out and tells Nina about the idea she has come up with for the big story in the next issue of the magazine.  Nina agrees to hire Maxie back, telling her she was already going to; Michael is at the office when Nina gets back to work.  He thanks her for getting the tickets to the play for them; Nina tells him she did no such thing.  Michael gets a text from his mother, asking if he is moving in with Nelle, saying “she implied that you were.”

Ava searches for pictures of Jason Morgan online, comparing them to Franco’s sketch; Griffin comes to pick her up for dinner and she tells him it slipped her mind.  He says they could just order in and eat there; she thinks he wants to avoid being seen in public with her.  She tells him she is busy anyway; they start talking about Jason Morgan… she shows Griffin the sketch and the online photos.  She says, “he is Jason Morgan, too.”  ‘Jason’ and Sam tell Danny they have something to talk to him and Scout about; they tell him things are changing for their family.  They tell him about the purchase of the media company; he says it sounds cool.  They get ready for the launch party; Sam puts on the dress Maxie brought her.  Sam asks ‘Jason’ if he is ready for this; he says he is.

Sonny can’t believe his eyes; he asks Jason who the hell he is… he tells Sonny, “it’s me.”  They are still pointing guns at each other; Sonny tells him someone else has been saying they are him for the past two years.  Jason tells Sonny it doesn’t seem like he’s been gone for five years; to him, it felt like three to five months, tops.  He describes his stay in Russia, says he was kept drugged all the time, but eventually started pulling himself out of it.  Then Ava showed up; he describes his escape with her help, and his meeting with the priest, and the trip home… trying to contact him, etc.  He tells him when he went to see Sam, he didn’t know at first, that she thinks the man she is married to is him; he understands now.  He says they were talking about their wedding day; he heard in her voice how much she loves him – he says he figured it all out, when he heard Jason Morgan bought the media company from her brother.

Sonny fills Jason in on this new Jason’s coming to town; lack of memory, then recall... he says they did a DNA test, scans that reconstructed his face before the accident.  He says, "it was you!"  Jason insists that he is Jason Morgan and asks Sonny if he doesn’t know that, calling him his “best friend” and “brother.”  He begs Sonny to tell him that he knows him; Sonny says he doesn’t know what to believe.  He says he’s been calling this guy Jason for the past year and a half; Jason reminds Sonny he went to work for him in 1996, says he taught him everything he knows about this business and most of what he knows abut life.  He says he would have never turned his back on him and bought a media company or anything; Sonny tells him he knows it’s him, reaches out for his hand and hugs him.

10-24-2017 (Tuesday) The Note

Andre tells his Russian connection that “someone is getting close to the truth” and “if they connect a few more dots they’ll know everything.”  Elizabeth is at his door with Jake when he gets up to leave; he tells her this isn’t a good time for him to speak with them.  Jake brings up the man he saw in the park; Andre texts his connection “delayed.”  Sonny shows Carly the note Ava brought him, from our old Jason; he fills her in on the story of the $40 he gave Jason the first night they met.  They wonder how any one else could have known to mention it in that note, except Jason – if he never told Carly that story, they figure he didn’t tell anyone.

Andre questions Jake about the man in the park; Jake tells him he looked like his dad used to look.  Andre asks if the man spoke to him; Jake tells him that he heard someone say his name… he thinks it was him, he says.  Andre ends the session and sees them to the door; his Russian comrade shows up at his office door before he can leave.  He says they know where Jason is going to be tonight and they are going to “intercept him.”

Ava comes to see Franco and thanks him for helping pay Kiki’s tuition with his profits from the show; she commends him on his success too; then she asks what he is sketching and he gets uncomfortable.  She tells Franco she’s thinking about opening the gallery again; she tells him she would like to represent him again too.  She picks up his sketchpad and sees the drawing; she says, “I know this man.”  Franco remarks that everyone knows Jason Morgan; he questions how she ever saw him though…she thinks for a moment and says she must have seen a picture.  She notices that Franco has drawn numerous sketches of Jason; he kicks her out.  When he leaves his room to get more water, she sneaks back in and looks at the sketch again.  She takes one.

Nelle comes to see Michael at his office; she is bringing him his watch, which he left at her apartment.  She tells him he just as well move-in with her, he spends so much time there.  He thanks her for giving him something to think about; they kiss and he tells her he needs to get back to work.  Curtis shows up after she leaves; Michael says he doesn’t want to see anything more regarding Nelle… Curtis says he is gonna want to see this.  Nelle spent over a year in a mental hospital.  Nell stops by the Metro Court for some reason and goes out of her way to let Carly know she and Michael won’t be making it to the launch party; she tells Carly they will probably have Sam and Jason over to ‘their’ house soon.

Jordan and Curtis have lunch together; they are discussing where they want to go on vacation.  They settle on Fiji, this time… the Alps next time, Jordan says; she gets a text from Stella, asking to see her.  When she gets there, Stella tells her about a young woman with a burst appendix who is undocumented; Jordan tells her she just needs to “stay under the radar.”  Stella tells her someone at the hospital already tipped off “ICE” and there is a man standing in the waiting room for the woman to be released.  She tells Stella there is nothing she can do, saying it is a Federal matter, but then goes over and tells the guy that this woman is working for her, undercover.  She talks to his boss on the phone; the man tells her to have a good day, and gives her the removal warrant, which she tears up.  Stella says, if she didn’t know better, she’d think the woman was under cover, herself.  Jordan says, “people can surprise you.”  She admits it will probably only work for a little while and tells Stella to tell her friend to be careful.

Our old Jason lets himself into a house again; an alarm goes off, taking him by surprise.  He shuts it off; he looks around.  He pulls out two pistols and a cleaning kit; he starts taking them apart and cleaning them.  Sonny gets a call; someone is at one of his ‘safe houses’ – he asks when the security code was last used.  Jason looks at the alarm again; it says “System Ready.”  He goes upstairs.  Sonny goes to check out the house; he steps inside, gun ready.  He is surprised when he hears, “Sonny,” and looks up to see our old Jason standing on the stairs, also holding a gun.

10-23-2017 (Monday) To Friendship!

Ava scoffs at the note Patient 6 left her; she gets a visit from Kiki.  Kiki tells her mother that Scotty is worried about her; she asks Ava if she is really paying men to have sex with her.  Kiki apologizes for getting her all riled up, thinking that she drove her mother to do this; Ava says she only said that to get Scott off her back, because she didn’t want to tell him who she had been with.  Kiki sees ‘Patient 6’s note and thinks it is from the man her mother slept with; Ava just smiles and says no.  She tells Kiki about her meeting this man in Russia, helped him, and saw him again here in Port Charles; she tells Kiki he asked her to take a note to Sonny of all people, and she did.  Kiki teases her, asking again who the guy is she was with; Ava says she isn’t going to tell right now, but she knows he cares about her and that’s what matters.  Kiki tries her skills at deductive reasoning; she figures out it was Griffin.  Ava confesses, saying, for the first time in a long time, she feels human; Kiki says she’s happy for her.  She says she has to get to work; Ava asks to ride along.

Griffin stares at his priest pouch, goblet, etc.; Anna comes to visit.  They ask how each of their trips went; each say they went well.  Anna asks Griffin if he has heard any gossip about her and Dr. Finn; he asks why and Anna says it’s complicated.  She wants to explain to him because she knows she can trust Griffin to be discrete; he tells her he is no longer a priest.  She is surprised to hear this, although she says she knows he has been questioning this for a while.  He tells her she was right about him trying to avoid making a choice; Anna asks what happened that prompted the choice.  He says he finally found closure, but Anna knows it was more about Ava than anything else; she asks Griffin if he has lost his mind.  He says no, reminding her that he still believes in redemption; for some reason, Anna isn’t honest with him about Finn.  She tells him they are together; Griffin gives her three reasons she shouldn’t be, then backs off, saying, “it’s your life.”  They agree to each go down their separate paths and see where they go; Anna is all but crying, but Griffin appears firm with the decision.

The Russian henchmen talk in the sauna; they tell the leader that they watched outside of Sam Morgan’s house all night… Patient 6 never showed.  This leader says they will catch him, when he feels one of the people he cares about is not safe; he will intervene, this man says, and they will be waiting.Liz finds Franco sketching again; I think it’s supposed to be Jason’s twin as he imagined him grown up – sort of looks like our newer Jason.  ‘Jason’ asks Sonny about the encounter they had on the bridge with the man we know as our old Jason; ‘Jason’ is concerned for Sonny’s safety.  Franco won’t show Liz the picture; he does his best to avoid her questions about what his mom told him and says he is ready to just focus on the future.  She likes the sound of that and leaves him to work; she is taking Jake costume shopping.

Jason questions why Sonny is working so hard to “give this guy the benefit of doubt” because of a note about things that happened 20 years ago; Sonny says he never told anyone else... only he and Jason knew about this.  He questions whether Sonny might have just forgot telling some one about the money he loaned 'him' outside of Luke’s that night.  They try to figure out if this man could be connected to the phone tapping.

Sam goes over the invitations for the press release; Carly reviews her liquor inventory – she says a “happy reporter equals a great review.”  They talk about how much Jason has “evolved” and how excited they are for the future; Sam says if they can be as successful as Carly has been with the Metro Court, they’ll be thrilled, but the important thing is that this puts Jason’s past in the past.  Regardless, Carly says, they will always be friends; Sam agrees.  They are summoned to Sonny’s; ‘Jason’ says the Federal Investigation Diane said was probably going to happen may already be here.  Because Julian was a known mobster, and with Jason’s connection to Sonny, the Feds are going to assume the purchase is a front for mob business.  Jason says they should go ahead with the launch as planned; Sonny says maybe not.  He thinks he should stay away; they argue, lovingly.  They pop a bottle of champagne and ‘Jason’ makes a toast; he says they are not going to “hide” who their friends are, and make sure Sonny and Carly are going to come to the launch.  They toast to friendship.

Franco shows up at Andre’s office; Andre tells him he has been expecting him.  He tells Andre that he couldn’t stop thinking about the twin painting; he says he thought if he sketched it over and over he could find the answers.  He tells Andre if he thinks he should tell Liz and Jason both the truth, he will; Andre says he shouldn’t.  He says this could simply be another fabrication of his mother’s; Franco asks about regression.  Andre says they can try that in a later session; he says Franco should wait until he is certain in his own mind about what happened before he tells anyone else.  Franco thanks him and says he feels better.  Liz is in the hallway with Jake; he tells her he saw that guy in the park and he looked “like dad before his face changed.”  That seems to freak her out; she says they have to make one stop before they go costume shopping.  She wants him to talk to Dr. Maddox about the man he saw; Jake tells his mom the man was friendly.  Andre is on the phone with one of the Russian henchmen; he says if they connect the dots they will know it all.
