04-28-2017 (Friday) A Life Review

Monica asks Ned if he knows what he has done; Ned says, in fact, he does.  He hands the immigration officer a paper, an extension on Samira’s visa; she can legally stay in the country for six more months.  He tells the man, his services are no longer needed.  Everybody congratulates Ned on a job well done; Dillon takes Samira home.  Ned invites Kiki to join them and asks if Monica can come home, saying they need to get together with his mother and resolve Samira’s situation once and for all.  When they all get back to the mansion, they find that the painting is gone again; Monica thinks she knows who took it.  Tracy.

Tracy tells her dad goodbye; she says she is going to the land of sun and fun, and Samira is not even a blip on her radar, she tells him.  The less said about her the better, she says.  She is standing in the crypt and tells all of her family they should have treated her better; she brought roses for her mother and tells Alan she should have brought him crabgrass.  She continues saying she is the last one standing, despite all their criticism of her; she starts bragging about her accomplishments at ELQ and Alan’s plaque falls off the wall and clocks her on the head.  She falls to the floor, unconscious.

A rough whispering voice tells Tracy to wake up; Scotty is there and he says, they were talking and her eyes just went “wing-ding.”  She insists she was home and is confused; Nathan comes out and says he is up.  Scotty drags her into the courtroom by the arm; she asks what she’s done.  Diane laughs and asks what she hasn’t done; Diane plays a video of the plaque hitting her on the head.  She tells Tracy she is dead, and reads from a book, that she suffered a cerebral hemorrhage and “expired at 12”57 p.m.”  ‘Diane’ tells her she is there for a “review” where Scotty will be presenting the sum of her good deeds, and she will be presenting the bad; Tracy asks for another lawyer.  She says if the good doesn’t outweigh the bad, she’ll be reincarnated into another lifetime to do it all again… and mentions that Sky Chandler is considering adopting a baby.  The ‘judge’ walks into the room; it’s Sonny.  He lays a gun on the desk and proclaims court in session; Tracy says she isn’t ready, saying this is a mistake.  Then she says the judge hates her; Sonny plays an old video of a very young Tracy, telling a very young Sonny he is a stunning disappointment.  She brings up Brenda, trying somehow to extort money from him; he tells her Lois didn’t deserve what she did and she should watch her back.  She says that proves her point; he smiles.

Sonny says he could recuse himself, but the only other judge is Anthony Zacara; Tracy says Sonny will do.  Diane gives her opening statement and says Tracy is not capable of goodness and should be sent back; Scotty argues that she isn’t that bad, saying she’s “fine.”  They play another video; Tracy arguing with Alan, about Monica messing around with her son, then of her and Monica arguing, her shoving Monica, and more of her saying one nasty thing after another, and one of her mother saying she cannot trust her when she says such vicious things.  She says those are just words; Diane says they will move onto deeds.  Scotty stands up and says her romantic life should matter; he starts mentioning Tracy’s love interests, noting that she also dated himself.  Diane mentions the mob boss she married; Scotty then mentions Luke Spencer, saying that was true love.  Diane says it started out as a fraud; she plays a video of Luke talking to her, saying how much he loves her, and her standing coldly, the one of her telling Luke she is done being his fool, calling him a pathetic loser.  Tracy gets sad as she watches herself say she will walk away and never look back, telling Luke she was the best thing that ever happened to him.

She argues that her children are proof that she’s done something; a video plays of her going into the labor under difficult circumstances.  But next, a very, very young Tracy, working for her brother, Alan, sits filing her nails; he gets mad at her over something that happened at dinner the night before and she screams at him, and likely messes up Moninca’s dinner party.  Another old video of her and Monica arguing, then her father telling her to pack her bags, suggesting she go to Maui with the other sharks… another of Ned telling her how much he hates her for the awful things she has done in his lifetime, and her apologizing to her mother for being such a disappointment.  Diane closes her computer and says that is not even the worst of it; another video plays on the large screen, of her talking to her father (a previous actor for Edward’s character) saying she would do anything to get her hands on the trust fund.  He tells her he is no longer her father and says he is taking her out of his Will; he starts to have a heart attack and asks her to get his medication.  She says she has to think about it, and begs him to tear up the new Will as Edward falls to the floor.  Tracy talks to the light now, pleading with it to send her back (as herself); she tells her father he wins, saying she knows he is there, pulling the strings.  She says Judge Sonny was a nice touch; she says all she ever wanted was to please him and to make him proud of her.

Tracy wonders what might have been if she had one last chance; she wakes up and Alan’s plaque is somehow still up on the wall.  As everyone discusses where Tracy might have gone, Ned tells them not to write her off just yet; and just then, Tracy walks back into the room with the painting and tells them that she was going to take it, but has re-evaluated the situation.  She says she has realized that Samira needs the painting more than she does; she says she has to start somewhere, doing the right thing, so she is giving up the painting.  They all smile.

04-27-2017 (Thursday) The Fever

Jason and Jake are coloring; they show each other their pictures and Jason asks if he can have a hug.  Jake sits on his lap, and Jason starts squeezing him, almost putting him in a chokehold; Jake starts calling out, “not so hard dad.”  Jason wakes up; Sam says he must have been having a bad dream.  He says, “yeah.”  Sam asks Jason what’s bothering him; he tells her Jake is afraid of who he used to be.  Jason says he feels helpless because he doesn’t know how to help his boy; he thinks there might be some answers in the book Helena left him.

Jake has a fever… of 110; very odd.  Even Franco knows he faked it; he says, he used to use a light bulb to heat the thermometer up.  He asks Elizabeth what she thinks is going on.  She tells Franco she talked to Jason about the picture of the little boy hiding from the scarecrow; she says that they have realized Jake is afraid of the man Jason used to be.  As Elizabeth and Franco talk, Jake overhears; he asks what they are trying to help him with.  They say they want to help him feel better; Elizabeth asks if she can get him a cut of tea and he says sure.  He asks Franco if he wants to color; he says that’s like asking a kid if he wants pancakes.  Jake unrolls his scroll; Franco notices he has added something to the history line… above the boy hiding behind the tree, are the numbers 0705.  When Franco asks him what those numbers mean to him, Jake suddenly starts “not feeling so good” and goes back to his room.  Jason comes over to ask about seeing the book; Elizabeth and Franco show him the numbers and ask if they mean anything to him.  They wonder if it’s a date; July 5th, or May 7th?  They note, May 7th is Jake’s birthday.

Tracy talks to her father’s picture again; she says she can’t believe he would have done this.  Dillon comes into the living room, totally understanding; he says when she is ready to talk to a living, breathing person, he’s her guy.  She asks if he thinks she’s an awful person for not giving up the painting; Dillon tells his mother, her father wasn’t here for her when he was alive, and asks what makes her think that he’ll be there for her in his death.  He sits down and tells his grandfather his way of loving sucks; he tells his mom, he will be disappointed if she doesn’t give up the painting, but he’ll get over it.  He will always love her and he won’t abandon her; he says as long as they stick together, they will be okay.  He tells her there’s not many of them left, so they can’t afford to cast anybody aside; he kisses her and leaves.  She talks to her father again, saying it’s nice to have the support from Dillon she never had from him.  Laura comes in to talk to her; Tracy asks Laura what if her father was not the man she believed he was.  She wonders if the time and energy she has wasted on him was worth it, saying either he was a good and flawed man she believed in, or he was a callous bastard.  Either, the painting is a declaration of love for her, she says, or it’s the only thing of value she ever got from him; either way, she tells Laura, she is not giving it up.  Laura says, if Edward strayed, it doesn’t mean he didn’t love Lila; and he made her happy, she says.  They were a good balance Laura tells Tracy; she also says she got the best of both of them and should be proud.  She leaves.

Kiki talks to Samira; she tells her that the Quartermaine’s will help her and she should trust them.  Samira ask why she trusts them; Kiki says, “Dillon.”   As long as he is on her side, she says, she’ll be okay.  Kiki talks to Monica about Samira; she tells her Samira is getting restless.  Monica tells her they admitted her under an alias, and ran all the tests; they are just waiting for the results.  The large gentleman from immigration walks up to the desk and demands Monica’s attention; she tells him she is busy, then asks Kiki to take care of this patient’s discharge.  She says she has already signed the papers; she hands her Samira’s alias file.  Kiki sees Dillon and asks him for his help getting Samira out of the hospital unseen; Dillon goes out to get a wheelchair.  Just as they are about to wheel her onto the elevator, Ned steps off of it; he stops them and tells the immigration man that Samira is right there.  They are all stunned.

Alexis is meeting with Diane; Carly happens to come by.  Diane apologizes, saying Sonny called her first; she says that’s okay, and asks Alexis if she wants to represent her in her divorce from Sonny.  Diane excuses herself.  Carly explains to Alexis that Sonny has some “sensitive information on Jax” and has had him deported permanently.  Alexis tells her, unfortunately, her license is still suspended; she gives her a referral.  Ava sees Alexis talking with Carly and asks Alexis why she didn’t tell her, her brother was alive.  She says she has other things to worry about and excuses herself.  Ava asks Carly if it’s too early to toast to her divorce; she sits down, but when she mentions Carly being out of Avery’s life after the divorce, Carly tells her she does not plan on being absent from Avery’s life, ever., and she leaves.
Sonny is on the phone with somebody, who I assume is analyzing the pills; he says they could be the key to what caused his son’s death.  Diane tells Sonny he needs to not be so obstinate… he says Carly will leave with what she brought to the marriage and nothing else; Dian tells him not to be so sure.  She explains, he signed transfers last year, endowing the foundation in Morgan’s name and trusts for his children, signing everything else over to Carly; he never had a lawyer transfer them back over to him.  Carly holds all of the cards, Diane tells him; and to avoid federal difficulties, she says, he may have to live outside of the country… like Jax, Sonny says.  Love that irony.

04-26-2017 (Wednesday) The Watch Continues

Nelle tells Nina that she took this job to turn over a new leaf; Nina says she understands that, but she is expanding her job description to include “covert observation.”  Nelle is surprised that she doesn’t trust her husband; she says they seem so happy.  She says the worst thing she can do is to assume something and have it eat away at her, warning Nina that she may do something she ends up regretting.  Carly ends up interrupting their conversation and warning Nina against employing Nelle, telling her about the drugging of Sonny.  Nelle assumes that she will be let go and begins to excuse herself, but Nina says that makes her all the more eager.  She tells Nelle that she is going to spy on her husband, and says she better be damn good at it.

Anna tells Valentin she owes him her life; she reminds him of how he carried her to the hospital, saving her from complications from the blood clot and getting diagnosed with cancer.  She says she tries to pretend she doesn’t have it; realizing she is vulnerable has been humbling, she tells him.  She smiles.  She says she looked at his back the other day, tall and straight and strong, and remembered how it used to be twisted; she realized what he went through to make his outside the same as the inside.  She tells him that she is celebrating her life and wants him to join her in a drink of champagne; he concedes.  She pops the cork, just as Nina happens to call; Nina hears the noise in the background, as Anna ‘whoops’ when cork pops.  Valentin pretends to lose signal; Anna insists he take his glass.  They toast and drink; she pours “just one more” and asks him if tonight could be a new beginning, offering the watch back.  He refuses at first, but then allows her to put it back on his wrist; she says she so wants to believe that something that is irreparably broken can be fixed. Griffin talks to Andre about Anna's claim that she is receiving treatment outside of General Hospital; he asks if Andre thinks Anna could be hiding something.

Kiki tells her mom that she loves working at the hospital; she says it makes her feel like she really matters.  Her mom worries about her working in the psych ward; she says it’s a choice she made, because she wants to understand more about what took Morgan’s life.  Her mom brings up Dillon; they talk about the upcoming Nurses’ Ball and then last year’s Ball.  Kiki gets sad remembering that was the night that Morgan got so angry and began his downward spiral; Ava tells Kiki she has to move on.  Kiki gets upset, thinking she means they should forget Morgan; she says she needs to go.  Her mom apologizes and says she is in awe of herr; they hug and Kiki cries.

Bobbie confronts Sonny at the hospital; she tells him, as much as she doesn’t like him, she knows he makes her daughter happy.  She says no matter what else has happened between them, they both lost Morgan; they talk a while, and Sonny brings out the pill bottle.  Lucy approaches Sonny, to talk about the Nurses’ Ball, and stops cold when she sees the bottle in Sonny’s hands; her whole demeanor changes and she apologizes for overstepping.  Sonny tells her he will take his usual table and provide an additional contribution; he tells her to call his accountant.  She thanks him and says there is something that she still needs to tell him; he tells her it will have to wait.  He goes to see Andre.  Sonny tells Andre that he can’t help but think, maybe the manufacturer of the pills screwed up; Andre says that would be difficult to prove.

Michael talks to her mother; she tells him that his father got Jax sent out of the country.  Michael tells her that Jax will work things out; Carly can’t believe he is defending his father.  He says he just doesn’t want her trying to get back at him; she says she won’t do anything Sonny doesn’t deserve.  He suggests she go to Australia; he says she could get a house down the street from Jax if she doesn’t want to move to fast with him.  She seems to consider it, until he mentions Nelle and she realizes he is thinking about forgiving her; she tells him, he can’t.  She explains that she tested her love with Jason because it was the only way she knew to prove it to herself, and as good friends as they are, she says, Jason could never fall back in love with her because she hurt him so badly; Michael realizes she is comparing Jason and herself to he and Nelle.  He politely ends the conversation; and acknowledges that he is going to do whatever he wishes.

04-25-2017 (Tuesday) The Gift

Nina wonders why Valentin isn’t telling her Anna gave him that watch; he comes in looking for it.  She questions why it’s so important to him; he says he is just indulging himself.  He tells her he has a surprise of her; a pair of riding boots, and a horse of her own.  They go to look at the horse and then come back in; they start making out (Anna hears slobbery kissing and moaning on her headphones).  Griffin knocks at the door; he is angry that Anna missed an appointment today.  She lies and says that she had the treatment done at a private facility because she is tired of everybody being in her business.  She asks him to respect her privacy; he says he is still going to check on her.  He mentions his concern about her obsession with Valentin and she tells him that she’s worked all that out.

After making love on the couch, Valentin tells Nina he just wants her to be happy; he gave her the horse to see her smile.  She says all he has to do is be honest with her; she reminds him that she’s had a problem with jealousy before, for good reason.  She says she doesn’t want to go backwards; he tells her she has nothing to worry about.  He says he is going to take care of some business; she is going for a ride.  Anna calls to see if he can meet with her; he says he needs to see her anyway.

Tracy tells her potential half-sister that her only choice is to get out of the country before immigration services finds her; she says she can’t leave without the painting.  It’s the only way she knows to save her daughter; Tracy refuses to give up the painting.  She says Samira couldn’t get out of the country with the painting anyway; Samira leaves the room in tears.  Laura questions Tracy’s true motive for wanting Samira gone.  Laura pleads with Tracy to help this girl; Ned comes in and asks Tracy to take Samira somewhere safe… within a twenty mile radius, he suggests, just in case immigration comes back.

Finn’s drug test comes back positive; he can’t believe it.  Griffin tells him they will wait for the next test, but the results better be clean, or at least significantly lower.  He reminds Finn that he is still forbidden from treating patients and leaves.  Hayden asks Finn if he has been using; he swears he hasn’t.  He tells her he wants to get everybody’s respect back; she tells him he is sweating and looks like he did when he was using.  He says he did a workout on his lunch break; it’s one way to cope with addiction, he tells her.  He says Felix was in the gym with him; she asks why the test would come back positive.  He says he just has to be wrong.  She asks him to confirm that he has been “playing by the rules” and he says, “well, not exactly.”  He tells her he broke one little rule, for Tracy; he used hospital resources for something that wasn’t exactly ethical.  He just wants her to know it had nothing to do with drugs.  He swears to her that he is going to be the kind of man she can trust.  Tracy comes in with Samira; she asks Finn to treat her.  He says he can’t; he calls Griffin for help.  Hayden tells Finn that she is proud of him and she has decided to give “them” a little time; Finn smiles.

Michael talks to Dante and Lulu at The Floating Rib; he realizes they don’t know about Nelle drugging Sonny.  As they ask him to explain, Nelle walks in.  Michael approaches her and asks if she would like to tell her brother what he needs to know; she says he could tell him, himself, and have her arrested.  Lulu interrupts; she talks about her visit with Charlotte.  Nelle tells her that Charlotte had a wonderful time; loved seeing the bunny.  Lulu is happy.  Michael talks to Nelle about how awful custody battles can be, mentioning his uncle fighting his mom and dad once; his mom and dad fighting his biological father; and then mom fighting his dad for custody of them.  He says he wouldn’t wish that on any kid.  Nina comes back from her ride and finds Valentin still gone; she thinks back about finding him with Anna before, with Anna acting weirdly.  She hopes he is not with Anna right now.  Nelle comes home; she mentions that she is reading a book about spies and Nina gets an idea.  She tells Nelle she wants her to spy on someone, for real.  Valentin arrives at Anna’s; he tells her he wants to give the watch back.  She is all smiles, grabs his hand, and asks him not to.

04-24-2017 (Monday) Jax Says Goodbye

Olivia is on her way somewhere.  Ned asks if she is sure she doesn’t want him to go; she says she will be fine and she’ll let him know how it goes.  She leaves.  Ned asks Samira if immigration is tried to get a hold of her again; she says, thankfully, no.  She asks if he knows where his mother is; he doesn’t.  She shows Ned a picture of her little girl; she asks him if he thinks his mother will give her the painting to save her daughter.  He says he wouldn’t count on it; she questions how else she will save her.  Olivia visits Julian; she tells him that she and Ned are getting married and she wants Ned to adopt Leo.  Julian says absolutely not.  Olivia points out that he will be in prison for a very long time, and says she isn’t going to bring Leo to visit him; she tells Julian he will never know him as his father, and begs Julian to at least think about giving him the gift of a loving father who can be there with him as he grows.

Laura runs into Tracy at the hospital; she overhears something about a DNA test.  Tracy asks her what she is doing there; Laura says she is there for a board meeting.  Tracy confides in her about the possibility that Samira could be her sister; Laura asks what Samira thinks about this.  Tracy tells her she doesn’t know; Laura says it’s not right to do this test without her knowledge.  When Tracy gets home, with Laura, Ned tells her that they have another problem, and it has nothing to do with the painting; he tells Tracy about immigration showing up.  Tracy smiles and says that’s wonderful; now she knows how to help Samira, she says.  She tells Samira she needs to get her out of the country.

Diane meets Alexis at the police station; Alexis is ready to give her statement.  Jordan takes them to the interrogation room.  Jordan asks Alexis about her whereabouts last night; when she mentions Julian kidnapping her, Alexis says he didn’t.  She says she went with him of her own free will; Jordan asks why.  Alexis says she was trying to get him to turn himself in; Jordan points out they were missing for an hour and questions why she would spend that much time with him.  She says Julian said what he said because one of the police officers had a feeling that she was an accomplice; she says he was trying to protect her and it was a spur-of-the-moment decision.

Jake has a strange reaction to an old picture of Jason; Elizabeth says they’ve shown him this picture before and asks why it bothers him now – he says his dad having a different face doesn’t bother him, it’s “the witch.”  When they try to get him to talk further about the witch, he says he doesn’t want to talk about that and asks to go to his room; they let him go.  Jason mentions that he looked like that when he used to work for Helena… he thinks (now that they know she had Jake that whole time) Jake might have seen him with Helena, when he looked like that.  He says there is no telling what he might have done for her because she had total control over him; they both fear what Jake might have seen.  Jason then worries, he may have possibly done something to Jake and doesn’t even know it.

Jax tells Carly he wants her and Joslyn to come live with him in Australia; he says they can finally be a family.  Jax insists they are connected; he says they bring out the best in each other and they make more sense when they are together; he says he wants to spend their lives together.  Carly doesn’t know what to say; she says putting Port Charles in the rear view mirror for a while sounds tempting.  But, she says, she feels close to Morgan there and doesn’t want to leave; also, she says, she can’t leave Michael with Nelle still trying to get her claws into him.  He asks how her staying will help; she says because she can stay on him that way.  Jax says she can’t dictate her life, pointing out that he is a grown man; he says he thinks she really wants to go with him, at least partially.  He thinks maybe the real reason she doesn’t want to go is Sonny; she denies it, but he insists that she wants to keep him in her life one way or another.  He says it breaks his heart, but he needs to go; she apologizes and says it’s just not the right time.  He tells her Sonny is going to destroy her; she says she won’t let him.  She says she will come later; he says he may not be waiting.  Carly says if it’s now or never, she will have to take her chances, and she kisses him goodbye.

04-21-2017 (Friday) Things are Changing

Dante comes to Alexis’; Sam answers the door.  Alexis comes down the stairs as Dante is telling Sam he needs to ask her mom some questions, so they can lock Julian up for good.  Ava comes to see Julian in the interrogation room; she asks why she should do anything for him.  She yells at him for everything he put her through; he says she only survived because she was arrested and he did nothing to help her then.  He asks her what she would have done to protect her daughter; she recalls her exchanging Morgan’s pills that day.  She tells Julian she understands; Scott Baldwin walks in.  Julian isn’t impressed, but accepts his representation.  Sam tells Dante that she thinks her mom is still sleeping; Alexis listens on the stairs.  He tells Sam Julian has already confessed, but if they can get Alexis’ statement, they can nail him to the wall.  Sam says she will have her mom call when she gets up; Alexis heads back up the steps as Dante turns to leave.  Sam tells her mom, afterward, that she wants to know what really happened with her and Julian last night.

Kristina and Molly come to visit their mom; they brought dinner and some movies.  Alexis says that sounds good to her; Sam tells her mom they are not done with this conversation.  As the girls snuggle down on the couch with their mother, Sam shuts the movie off and says Alexis needs to go make her statement; the girls agree that’s important and Kristina rants about how awful Julian is.  Alexis tells her that’s enough; Sam gets the girls to leave and gets her mom to admit that Julian did not kidnap her last night.  She tells her how she found Julian on the pier; she says she went will him willingly, but he lied to cover for her.  Sam suggests she take Diane with her when she goes to make her statement, since she either has to confirm Julian’s statement or tell the truth and implicate herself.

The immigration officer tells Jax that his Visa has been revoked; he says he was informed that he was arrested on a crime of moral turpitude.  Carly says he wasn’t charged with anything; the man says it doesn’t matter, as they have reason to believe now that he was involved in underground trafficking of organs.  Jax says he will call his attorney and have them clear this up; Carly says, to herself, she will clear this up.  She goes to see Sonny; she accuses him of calling immigration on Jax.  He says he used whatever leverage he could use; she asks if he thought for one second what this is going to do to Joslyn.  She tells Sonny if Jax has to suffer the consequences, then so does he, and there WILL be consequences; he asks what she means by that.  She tells him to enjoy his birthday there alone, reminding him how they were all together last year, and leaves.  When she gets home, Jax tells her he agreed to leave the country tonight and never come back; Carly says that makes no sense.  He asks her to bring Jos and go to Australia with him.

Dante brings Morgan’s pills back to Sonny, saying the case was closed this morning; unfortunately, he tells him, they still don’t know where the robbers got those pills.  Ava tells Scott that Dante was “taunting” her with the pills, saying he was giving them back to Sonny tonight.  Sonny questions how the pills could have been at The Floating Rib six months after Morgan’s death; he ponders how Carly knew something was wrong with the medication that last month.  He says he should have seen what was going on; Dante tells him he has to get back to work and wishes him a happy birthday.  Sonny sits down and looks at the pill bottle; Scott assures Ava that the pills in the bottle are legit Lithium, which is what Morgan was prescribed.  Ava says then Sonny shouldn’t have any reason to look any further into this; Sonny is making another phone call.  He says he needs to talk, about his son.

Elizabeth looks at Jake’s drawing and wonders if Franco is right about Jake being afraid of his father; she calls Jason, and shows him the picture of Jake hiding from the scarecrow.  She explains to Jason that it appears Jake is afraid of him, as he didn’t want him to know about this.  Jake comes home; he is surprised to see his dad there.  Jason sits him down and starts with a little small talk; he tells him that he doesn’t have to tell him anything he discusses with Dr. Maddox, but that he can always talk to him if there’s anything he wants to talk about.  Jake says he knows; Jason says he has a feeling maybe he’s afraid of him, but Jake says he’s not the one he’s afraid of.  Elizabeth and Jason sit down with Jake, and a photo album; they start looking at old pictures of him and them, and then ask him if he knows a certain other person (who it doesn’t show us).  Jake gets noticeably frightened.

04-20-2017 (Thursday) Trouble in Town

The large gentleman asks to come in and look around; he tells her this woman is a foreign national with an expired Visa, and she could be facing charges if she is harboring her.  Monica denies the girl’s presence there and bids him farewell; Dillon commends her on her protection of the girl, but asks what they do when this supposed officer comes back.  Samira wonders if Tracy could have been the one who turned her in; Tracy tells Finn he owes her.  She tells him about Samira and her suspicions that she might be her sister.  Finn tells her, if she really is her sister, especially, she should consider the fact that she really needs the painting, although he understands why Tracy ‘wants’ it.

Samira tells Monica she needs to take the painting and get home or she will lose her daughter “to those monsters.”  Tracy admits she doesn’t want Samira to be related to her, because that would mean her father cheated on her mother while they were all grieving him; she says she will try to help Samira get the money to rescue her daughter, but she doesn’t want to give up her painting.  She hands him the DNA sample in a plastic back (it’s unclear what the object is); she asks him to help her.  He says he will but threatens to be angry at her for a long time if he gets caught and loses Hayden over this.

Jason walks into Sonny’s; Michael and Sonny are still arguing.  Sonny tells Jason about Jax buying Nelle’s kidney and getting arrested for it; Michael says he is trying to explain to his father that his being released is a good thing.  Maybe his mother can forgive him now, he says; Michael tells him this is affecting Joslyn and Avery too and they need to get over it.  He says he is going to pray for a while and leaves.  Jason tells Sonny happy birthday, bringing him a bottle of wine in a gift box; he also tells him about Julian Jerome being alive and getting arrested.  Sonny calls someone and says he needs a favor; Jason and Sonny each pour a glass and make a toast that Julian will get the justice he deserves.

Carly says doing right by Jax doesn’t absolve her of everything she’s done to her family; Jax comes in and Carly hugs him.  He thanks Nelle and says he is sorry for everything; Nelle says to just be good to Jos and she’ll call it even.  He reminds her that his offer for financial help is always on the table; she thanks him, but says she is home now and not going anywhere.  Carly glares at her and tells Jax, “let’s go.”  Michael and Jax beg Carly to let her grudge against Nelle go; Jax says, for Jos and everybody involved it would really be best if she could call a truce.  Carly laughs; she hugs the two of them and says she wants to get home.  Once home, Jax talks to Carly about letting things go; he gets her to admit that they are lucky.  She apologizes for Sonny trying to lash out at her by hurting him; she asks what she can do for him.  He tells her he wants to go snow camping; she tells him he’s crazy.  The immigration officer (the large gentleman who was looking for Samira) shows up at Carly’s door; he says he is there for Jax.

Michael finds Nelle on the dock, waiting for a boat to the island; Michael thanks her for not pressing charges against Jax.  He apologizes for misjudging her.  Her boat arrives and he wishes her a good evening; she says him too.  He leaves; she smiles.

Franco talks to Kiki about Jake; he tells her that Jake is afraid… of his father.  He tells her about how he reacted to his father possibly finding out about the scarecrow; he says he was terrified at the thought.  When Elizabeth approaches, Kiki makes up a dumb excuse, saying they were talking about the Nurses’ Ball; Liz knows she’s lying.  Franco tells Liz about his suspicion that Jake is afraid of his own father, explaining why he believes this; Liz takes it well, but says there is no reason he should be afraid of Jason.  Franco says, “well it’s true for Jake, and it has something to do with whatever happened on that island.”

04-19-2017 (Wednesday) A Sneaking Suspicion

Curtis comes by with a surprise from Jordan; it’s a bowling ball.  He shows her how to swing it and she drops it, backward; it bounces and rolls off the floor.  She apologizes, to her neighbors downstairs she says; Curtis says they better get used to some noise.  He kisses her.  They are interrupted by TJ, who politely gives his approval of the relationship and leaves; Jordan tells Curtis she doesn’t want anything to ruin the friendship they have built prior to this.  Curtis says he doesn’t want that either; he says the only way to make sure is with some serious bowling.

Tracy remembers her conversation with the young woman, who appears may be her younger sister.  She says she is going to have to answer some questions on her own, and she opens a box, taking out a black case.  Samira comes in; Tracy tells her that she cannot part with the painting.  Samira says Edward seemed like such a kind man; Tracy says she didn’t know her father, and never will.

Finn has his job back; or rather, was given another position at the hospital, in charge of outpatient rehab.  Brad is giving him shit; he walks away.  Griffin tells him he is his supervisor and says he needs a sample for a random drug test; Finn gets annoyed, but agrees to comply.  Brad tells Griffin he needs to tell him what he knows about Finn; Griffin says he can’t discuss Finn with him.  He says he has to get Finn’s sample to go to the lab; Brad offers to take the sample for him.

Michael asks Sonny to leave town; he knows he has business he could take care of elsewhere.  Sonny says this is Jax’s fault; he doesn’t understand why Carly can’t just forgive him now that he knows he didn’t really sleep with Nelle.  Michael tells him he isn’t thinking straight; he says he needs to find a better way to deal with his loss.  Michael asks Sonny to let him fix this; he makes a call.  Carly is going to line up an attorney for Jax, who is now in the interrogation room at the police department; when she steps out of the door, she sees Nelle, telling Nathan, she was told to come in.  Nelle says she would like Carly and Jax to hear what she has to say.  Nathan turns on the recorder and Nelle prepares to give her statement.  She says she will not be pursuing any legal action against Mr. Jax and wishes them no ill-will.  Carly asks if Jax can still be prosecuted without Nelle pursuing it; she mentions the recording Sonny made.  Nathan says he doesn’t think it will go any further; Carly stops Nelle and thanks her for that.  Still, she tells her it doesn’t change a damn thing between them; then she says she is probably just trying took good for Michael and warns her to stay away from him, saying she will do everything she can to stop her.

Hayden looks at pictures of her and Finn; Finn comes in to talk to her.  She says they aren’t going to talk until he is done with his recovery, but ends up talking to him for quite a while, mostly about her father.  Finn asks her if she will give him a chance to make things right between them after he is better; she tells him she can’t make promises she isn’t sure she will be able to keep.  Finn awkwardly excuses himself; she tells him he needs to really follow the rules in order to get better.  He says he knows.  She says she needs to know he’ll be okay, with or without her; he says he will and leaves.  She starts crying, slightly; Griffin comes in and sees that she is upset.  Tracy finds Finn on the elevator at the hospital; she tells him she needs his help, now.  She says she needs a DNA test.  Monica gets a visitor at her door; it is a large man, looking for Samira Adeem.

04-18-2017 (Tuesday) Gotcha!

Everyone at the party bursts out laughing when they see the painting of the clown; Larry Ashton has it, and he is sneaking it out of the mansion at that very moment.  Larry bumps into some girl on the grounds; she stalls him enough that Ned, Dillon and Laura catch up with him.  The girl introduces herself to Laura as Samira Adeem, or something like that; she says she is there to see Tracy Quartermaine.  She tells Tracy that she needs the painting back, to save her daughter’s life; they ask to hear her story.  She says her husband passed away a few years ago, her daughter was kidnapped; she has been missing for weeks.  The monks took her in and offered to help pay the ransom for her daughter; Dillon tells Tracy to give the woman the painting.  Tracy asks Laura to call Robert Scorpio to find out about human trafficking in that area and if he knows anything about this woman’s daughter; Laura tells Tracy this might have been the woman they heard crying in the monastery.  Monica invites Samira to stay the night; the woman thanks them.  She hands Tracy a ring and a journal that belonged to her father; she says she got them from her mother… Tracy’s father left them with her.  She says he would want Tracy to help her; Tracy notes that she has blue eyes (strange for a dark-haired woman).  She asks her father how he could do this to her.

Jake runs into Franco on the stairs of the hospital; Franco asks him about the drawing Jake left at his studio.  Jake says he just wanted him to have it; Franco asks about the new addition to the drawing… Jake peeking out from behind some grass?  Jake doesn’t say anything about it; Elizabeth finds him.  She chews him out from running off from the elevator like that; he asks if he’s in trouble for talking to Franco and she says no.  He goes off to his appointment with Andre; Franco tells Elizabeth about the drawing and shows her the picture on his phone.  Jake comes back from his appointment and sees Franco telling; he gets mad because he asked him not to tell.  He runs and hides; Franco finds him and apologizes, but says he only did it because he is worried about him.

Sam fears that her mother ran into Juilian; she asks Jason what he thinks Juilian would do to Alexis.  Scene flashes to a room, where she and Julian are passionately making their way to the bed, as they undress, while kissing; they make love.  Alexis asks him what happened afterward; he tells her Olivia shot him, but it wasn’t serious.  He admits to the phone calls and knocking; she tells him she read the letter.  He apologizes and says he really wanted to tell her.  He tells her he has hope that she would want to be with him again; she asks if he expects her to leave her children and grandchildren.  He says maybe it would be nice to leave it all behind; she says he misunderstood what happened here tonight.  She says, this was goodbye.

Jason searches the dock and questions a worker there; Sam shows him a picture of him meeting with Julian, and asks why he was meeting him.  He says Julian paid him to get him out of town, but then he changed his mind.  Jason tells Sam he thinks her mom might have gone with Julian willingly; Sam says she knows and that’s what worries her.  Sam remembers that they downloaded an app so they could always find each other; she looks up her mom and tells Jason they need to call the police.    Alexis cries as Julian tells her that he loves her, but he will honor her wishes; he is going to leave town and never see her again.  He asks her to just give him tonight; she starts kissing him again.  The police knock in the door, guns drawn; Sam and Jason are right behind them.

04-17-2017 (Monday) Confession

Alexis stares at the picture on her phone, of Julian peeking out of the bushes; Sam asks her if she’s alright, and she says no.  She says she is unnerved, not knowing where Julian is, although she is relieved to know the phone calls and knocks were real.  Sam offers to stay with her, but she insists she will be fine.  She goes to stand by the docks; she has memories of Julian.  He appears from around the corner; she sees him.  Sam meets up with Jason; they find her mothers scarf on the pier.

Laura helps Tracy set up her painting in the living room; she is getting ready to unveil it tonight, at Ned and Olivia’s party.  She thinks everyone will be thrilled about the painting, but Monica is already not happy it is in her living room.  Larry Ashton tells Tracy he wants a finders’s fee; she tells him she’s drinking it.  Kiki and Dillon manage to get dressed and make it to the party on time (and they didn’t even wrinkle their clothes).  Monica and Tracy continue to bicker; Tracy tells Olivia she is happy to welcome her to the family.  The party is interrupted by a fire alarm; everybody evacuates the area – but not the house.  When they return, the painting appears to have been untouched, but upon it’s unveiling, Tracy finds it has turned into a picture of a clown.

Jax tells Carly he admires the fact that she never gives up; Sonny knocks on her door.  He storms in telling Jax this is all his fault; Carly tells him to get out of her house.  Dante comes, looking for Sonny (Michael called him) and Jax confesses to purchasing the kidney; Sonny whips out a tape recording of the confession and gives it to Dante.  Dante has to arrest Jax; Sonny goes home and brags to Michael about it; Michael gets mad at him, saying it will be his fault if Jax goes to prison.  (But Jax confessed, remember?)

04-14-2017 (Friday) A Good Connection

Dillon distracts Kiki from her work; he tries to work on a project; they get ready to go out, then, decide to go make love first (saying if they maintain control, they could hang their clothes up and not get them wrinkled).  She says he is very resourceful; they go upstairs.

Dante questions Lucy about the pills and if she saw where the robbers got them from; she denies any knowledge.  Ava shows up for a meeting with her; Dante looks suspicious and asks them what they are meeting about.  Lucy says, about a special painting; Dante says Ava told him they were meeting about the Nurses’ Ball the day of the robbery.  They both agree that they are discussing a painting that Ava is donating to the Nurses’ Ball; Ava says she does it every year.  Ava tells Lucy she better keep her mouth shut about those pills, reminding her about the family she belongs to; she says she will make her disappear if she says anything to Dante about the pills.  Lucy asks Ava what she did that makes those pills so important to her; Ava doesn’t answer.

Carly is talking to Jax when Nelle comes to the door.  She tries to make apologies again; Carly goes off on her.  Jax offers to pay Nelle any amount of money she wants to make a clean start somewhere else; she turns him down, saying she has to stay and try to undo what she’s done.  She wants to prove herself; Carly doesn’t buy it.  She tells her she knows she is still trying to go after Michael; she lets her know that she will never get her hooks into her son again.  She throws Nelle out of her house.  Sonny remembers previous conversations with Carly about his lying to her; he tells Michael he is going to take a trip.  Michael thinks it’s pretty sudden; Sonny says, if he stays in town, he’s afraid he’s going to kill someone.  After Michael tells him about Jax being the one who paid Frank for the kidney, Sonny knows just who he wants to kill.  He heads to Carly’s; he tells Jax this is all his fault.

When Charlotte sees her father, she runs to him, calling “daddy” and Lulu is a little annoyed by his presence.  But after Charlotte starts talking about how much fun she had and the bunnies she can’t wait to see again next week, Lulu smiles; Charlotte decides to cut the visit a little short since her daddy is there already, but she gladly makes plans with Lulu for a visit next week and Lulu smiles.  She looks up and sees Valentin smiling at her as well.  When Dante comes home and finds Lulu crying, he assumes things went badly; she tells him, no, “it was that good.”  Dante tells Lulu that Lucy and Ava were both acting funny when he asked them about the pills; he says he is going to find out why.  Charlotte tells her daddy that she loves Nina and is glad he married her and that she’s her new mommy, but it makes her feel bad at the same time.  Valentin asks what makes her feel bad; Charlotte says because she liked being with Lulu today.  Charlotte tells her father that he owes Lulu an extra ten minutes at her next visit.

Alexis comes to the park to see Sam and Jason; she tells her about the missing photo, and a lamp that was on, which she’s sure she had turned off.  Jason says he will look into it for her; Danny comes back from hunting eggs and hugs Alexis.  As she walks off with him, the camera view makes it appear that someone is watching her; Dillon snaps a few candid photos.  Jason thanks him for “stalking” them; Alexis gets an uncomfortable feeling at the sound of the word.  Jason sees something, or somebody, in the bushes in the background of a picture they just took.   He lightens the picture up; it is, in fact, Julian!

04-13-2017 (Thursday) The Visit

Brad demands Monica listen to him right now; he says they are looking at possible damages.  She asks of what kind; he says, the kind caused by an impaired doctor.  Hayden tells Finn that she has found Monica to be pretty reasonable, even with her being the “money person.”  He thanks her for the pep talk, but he knows his future career is at stake; Hayden says his contribution to saving the hospital has got to count for something.  He goes to knock on Monica’s door; the door opens, and Brad walks out.  Brad smiles as he walks by; Monica calls Finn in and tells him to close the door.  He boasts to Hayden that he has done something, figuring he has taken Finn down.  Finn explains his problem to Monica; he admits that he tried to detox himself, and then went to buy drugs last night.  She asks what else he is addicted to besides Zen-zen and he said prescription pain medication, admitting also that he took meds from the hospital on one occasion.  He admits to treating patients under the influence, but swears no one was ever compromised and says he is ready to get help.  He asks if he is out of a job; Monica says his job is the least of his worries right now.  She tells him to go to rehab and get better; she says she knows he can handle it, because she did.  He says he had no idea.  She tells him when he gets out, they’ll go to a meeting and she’ll tell him all about it.

Lulu is a nervous wreck as she prepares for Charlotte’s visit; she says she wants to make a good impression on the caseworker.  Dante tells her she is going to be perfect; Charlotte says she doesn’t want to go visit Lulu.  She want to have a tea party; Nina tells her she will prepare the tea party, while she is at Lulu’s and they’ll have it when she gets back.  Lulu gets a text that they are on the way; Dante leaves, to give Lulu time alone with Charlotte.  The caseworker arrives with Charlotte; she tells Lulu to enjoy her time with Charlotte and to just try to pretend that she isn’t there.  Lulu asks Charlotte what she wants to do; she says she wants to go home to “pappa and Nina.”  The caseworker tells Charlotte they are going to stick around for a while; Lulu tells her she was thinking of making some cranberry scones for a tea party she’s having later.  Charlotte says she would like to help, and asks if she can come to the party.  Lulu says she would love that.  While the scones are baking, they go on an Easter egg hunt; Charlotte is tickled with the wild bunnies that live outside of Lulu’s house.  She asks if they can go so the bunnies again, next time she visits; Lulu smiles and says anytime you want.

Anna listens, as Nina tells Valentin that she is concerned about Anna’s intentions; then she notices the new watch he is wearing… he tells her he bought it online.  He says HER gift is much more extravagant; she tells him he doesn’t have to buy her anything.  She then confesses that she went to see Anna after he showed her the note; she claims she “kicked her ass.”  Anna remembers pinning Nina down to the glass desktop after her attempted fisted swing; Anna laughs.  She gets a knock at her door; it’s Andre.  He says she is a sight for sore eyes.  He asks if she’s busy; she says she can take a break.  She tells him she is listening to Mozart, while she works, when he asks what the audio file is.  He tells her he saw Jordan this morning, with Curtis; he doesn’t know if it hurt because he misses her or because she was with someone else.  She offers him a “spot of tea.”  He puts her earphones in and hears part of Nina and Valentin’s conversation; Anna asks what he thinks he’s doing and he says he thought he was going to be listening to music.  She tells him she is doing her job, and he has to keep this between them; she swears him to secrecy.  He agrees to tell no one.

Olivia and Ned tell Dante that they are engaged; Olivia is worried that he is going to have a problem with that.  Dante says he only wants what is best for her; Olivia says Ned is best for her.  Dante tells her, then, he is happy for her.  He says it is about time that she had a good guy, that is deserving of her; he welcomes Ned to the family.  Nina searches the garbage can and finds the empty watch box; she reads the note again, citing, "time heals all wounds."  She knows Anna gave Valentin the watch.  Brad confronts Monica after overhearing Finn tell Hayden that Monica didn’t promise him, he still had a job, but she didn’t fire him either.  She said he will have to go before a review board when he gets out of rehab; they will determine whether he is let go or retained.  Brad can’t believe there is even a chance he will be retained; Monica tells him the hospital has a holistic policy when it comes to addiction.  Patient records will be reviewed after Finn is better; the employee’s health is their first priority.

04-12-2017 (Wednesday) Friends and Enemies

Griffin calls Anna and leaves her a message about an appointment she has with the phlebotomist coming up; she is looking at pictures of Valentin.  Her doorbell rings; it’s Laura.  She says she needs to talk to Anna about Valentin; she tells her about Lulu’s recent run-in with him and says she needs a new strategy “to neutralize him.”  Anna says she cannot help her; she and Valentin have made peace, she says.  She tells Laura she did some things that she is not proud of, and Valentin was the victim of her actions.  She says these are things she didn’t remember, but does now, and since she can’t take it back, she has to make it right.  Laura tells Anna Valentin does not deserve her compassion or mercy; Anna apologizes but says her involvement in their war is over.  Valentin reads a note from Anna, which tells him she does not want to be enemies; in fact, that she hopes to heal old wounds, and she includes a gift of a watch.

Nina asks Valentin to zip her dress, but his hands are full; he hides them behind his back, but then shows her Anna’s note.  She asks if he believes her; he says he wants to.  Nina says, what she knows about Anna, she doesn’t like; she asks him if this is going to be a problem for them.  He says the only reason he wants to make peace with Anna is for their family; he tells her he will see her later, and she leaves for work.  He makes a call; he tells someone he has a job for them.  He runs into Laura on the docks; she is on her way to The Floating Rib.  She tells him she is going to see that he pays for the things he has done (i.e. killing her brother) and says that’s a promise.  She questions how Charlotte and Nina genuinely love him, and why he clings to that so tightly; she says it’s because he knows as soon as they see him for what he really is, they will abandon him.  He tells her to get away from him; she says, with pleasure, but says he’ll see her again soon.  Nina goes to see Anna and tries to throw a punch at her; Anna quickly subdues her and puts her in a restrained position.  Anna asks Nina why she would do that; she knows her skills.  Nina explains that Valentin showed her the note; Anna asks what the problem is then, saying she just wants to end the feud.  Nina says she doesn’t understand her sudden desire to be best friends with her husband; she says she believes Anna is “after” him.  Anna swears she has nothing to worry about; Nina tells her “no more notes.”  Anna laughs after she leaves.

Tracy tells Monica she wants to change out the wall-hanging above the fireplace, for the picture she brought back from Turkey.  Monica says she better not; Ned comes in and Tracy tries to get him to side with her.  Ned tells his mother that he and Olivia are actually engaged now; she doesn’t look happy.  She asks him if he is happy; he says yes.  She says she is happy for him then, and she hugs him.  He asks who she is and where his mom went; she says she is finally at peace because she found her father again.  She shows Ned the letter.  Ned says he should have told her all those things, in person, years ago; he says everything he did was for his own ends.  If you didn’t obey him and tow the line, you were in exile; she says deep down, she always believed he really loved her.  Ned says if she really believed that, she wouldn’t need a letter to tell her.  He says her father’s love should have held her up and made her strong and comforted her when she felt lost, sad or vulnerable; he tells her he is proud of her and the person she became.  He says he loves her with all his heart; she begins to cry and he hugs her.

Hayden and Curtis talk again; she tells him that she went looking for Finn this morning and he isn’t in his room.  She says the maid said she hasn’t seen him; Curtis tells her he will go look for Finn for her.  She apologizes for kissing him last night; he says it’s okay.  She tells him she won’t try to jump his bones again; Jordan comes up and thanks her for that.  Curtis looks a little uncomfortable.  Jordan jokingly asks if Curtis wants to press sexual assault charges; he laughs and says no.  Hayden thanks her and excuses herself; Curtis tries to explain what happened, but Jordan says he doesn’t owe her an explanation.  He says he wants to give her one.  He says he is ready to commit to her; she gets giddy.  Brad tells Andre that he and Lucas are buying a condo; Andre congratulates him.  Andre comes to Perks and overhears Jordan and Curtis; she tells him she would understand if he was angry at her.  He says you can’t make someone feel something they don’t feel; he tells her it’s okay.  Andre calls Anna, to check on her, admitting that he could really use a friend to talk to; she ignores the call as she begins to listen to Nina and Valentin.  A scene-flash reveals that she had slipped a bug into the band of the watch she gave to Valentin.

Finn wakes up in a hospital bed; his face is bloody.  He was found by a man, lying in an alley, with his jacket over his face, all beat up; (he made a purchase of what looked to be cocaine on the docks last night).  Griffin asks what happened; Finn says he remembers all too well.  He says he went to buy some drugs, but he didn’t use; he says he paid for them and then changed his mind.  He found out the hard way that drug dealers don’t give refunds.  He tells Hayden he changed his mind because he thought of her and what she had said; he decided even if he has to walk the road alone, there might be something at the end of it – may someone to share it with.  She semi-smiles.

Monica tells Brad he isn’t getting the raise he thought he was getting; he says he and Lucas need that money for the condo they wanted to buy.  She says may Hayden will losen the purse strings; Brad takes note of the fact that Hayden is basically in charge of it.  He questions when Finn is coming back from his leave; Monica says when he finishes his paper.  Brad tells Monica there is something she needs to know about Dr. Finn.

04-11-2017 (Tuesday) Who is He?

Lulu and Rocco bring cookies to Dante at work; she tries to act like everything is alright, but he can tell something is wrong.  She says she is just worried about bonding with Charlotte; Dante tells her, after tasting the salty cookies Rocco helped make, that Charlotte is going to love her, cookies or no cookies, toys or no toys.  Lulu says she has been thinking of only her needs and not Charlotte’s; he tells her she doesn’t need a “bag of tricks,” she just needs to show up and be there for her.  Rocco asks his parents if they are going to love Charlotte more than him; they explain that parents love their children all the same; it’s like the law, Lulu says.  Rocco knows his daddy knows the law; they sing a silly song, tickle Rocco and laugh, and Dante says they've “got this.”

Hayden is sitting on a bench, drinking liquor, when Curtis happens to jog by; she whoops at him and he comes to sit down.  He asks her why she is sitting there; she tells him because she’s afraid she will go back to Finn if she doesn’t.  She offers him a drink; he refuses to give her the bottle back.  He tells her to talk; she tells him Finn said every little thing he could to hurt her.  Curtis tells her she can’t save Finn and if she tries, she will end up losing herself; her phone rings.  It’s Finn; she answers, asking if he’s okay.  He says not really; he asks if she will come over.  He says he just needs to see her; she tells him she can’t come.  She says he need to call a rehab center and hangs up; she reaches for the bottle again and Curtis lets her have it.  Finn talks to Roxi about going to rehab; he says it’s 28 days without her and without Hayden.  Then he realizes if he doesn’t go, he will lose Hayden forever.  He calls back and leaves Hayden a message, saying she’s the best thing that ever happened to him and he misses her; he then tells Roxi that he has to get out of there for a while and he’ll be back.

Hayden asks Curtis if he could get through to Finn; he says he couldn’t convince him anymore than she can.   She decides she wants to go dancing; Curtis tells her she’s crazy.  Hayden kisses him; he pushes her off.  Finn happens by; he talks to them for a little while.  Curtis tells him he better get help or he’ll never get better and he’ll damn sure never get Hayden; Finn tells Hayden he loves her and she tells him to prove it.  It leaves; she begins to cry and Curtis hugs her.

The ‘unknown’ man walks around Alexis house, opens the cabinet and looks at the photo albums; Alexis comes home.  She senses something the second she walks in the door; Kristina walks in the door behind her and Alexis almost hits her with a laptop.  She asks why she is so freaked out; she explains about Nathan’s visit.  Kristina tells Alexis that Nathan talked to her too, about Julian, explaining they ran into each other at Perks.  She says Nathan told her, if Alexis is withholding information, she could be in a lot of danger; she asks what there could possibly be that she is hiding from the police.  Kristina insists and Alexis admits that she feels like Julian is not dead; she feels like he is there somewhere.  She knows it sounds ridiculous; Kristina says she can’t tell her how to feel but still questions the phantom knocks and phone calls.  Alexis tells her Sam is looking into it.  Kristina asks about her feelings for Julian; Alexis says they are unresolved.  Kristina tells her mother that is probably why she is imagining him.  This was a huge loss and some serious trauma; she admits that she still dreams about Parker and it’s going to take time to recover.  Alexis thanks her for talking her “down.”  Kristina gets up to look for the remote and finds the photo album that was being looked at on a chair at the table; Alexis says she put that away earlier.  Kristina asks if Alexis wants her to stay the night; Alexis says no, she is fine.  Kristina leaves; Alexis sits down and looks at the photo album.  A picture is missing.

Sonny tells Carly he didn’t have sex with Nelle; he wasn’t unfaithful to her.  She says she doesn’t want to do this right now; he tells Carly Nelle couldn’t get him to sleep with her – he says she had to drug him to make him think he did.  He tells her this can all be over; she can come home.  Carly says this could be another lie; Sonny insists it isn’t.  Carly’s face shows that she realizes it isn’t too; he tells her how much he loves her and asks if this can just be over.  She says it can’t, as she glances at the two glasses on the coffee table; he says he knows if he’d have said something that next morning, they could have worked this out.  Carly says probably; he tells her no one knows him the way she does.  He asks her to come back to him; she says she is sorry, and begins to tell him about Jax, just as Jax comes down the stairs half-dressed.  Sonny asks Jax if he likes being her second-choice; a side-piece.  He yells at Carly, telling her she is predictable; he says she is a bad wife, but a great whore and she slaps him across the face.  She tells him they can’t trust each other and things will never be different; he says things will never be different because this is the last time.  They are done.  Jax asks Carly if she’s okay; she says she will be.  She tells him she fought as hard as she could, for as long as she could, for her marriage… but she is done.

04-10-2017 (Monday) Nelle's Confession

Nathan comes to talk to Alexis; he tells her the jacket they found had a bullet hole and blood on it.  He tells her his card was used for a bus ticket; she says his wallet must have been stolen, because even at his lowest, he wouldn’t travel by bus.  Besides she says, he was smart enough not to use his credit card; she says he wouldn’t do that.  Nathan thanks her for her time, and leaves, saying if he finds anything definitive, he’ll let her know.  As soon as he pulls away, Alexis puts on her coat, grabs her keys and leaves.  She goes to see Sam, asking if she knew about the credit card being used; she admits she did and says Curtis is also looking into it.  Alexis asks what she isn’t telling her; Sam confesses everything.  Then she gets a call from Curtis; she says they know who used Julian’s card… it was some kid, claiming he found the card on the street.  Alexis says that doesn’t prove whether Julian is alive or not; Sam asks what she was hoping and she says, she honestly doesn’t know.

Elizabeth comes to talk to Jason; she says she needs to check with him about Jake.  Jake shows up at Franco’s; Franco asks him why he’s there.  He says he needed to find out for himself why Franco doesn’t want to be his friend anymore; he tells her that they are still friends, but he doesn’t want to see him get in trouble for being out alone after dark.  He says he needs to take him home now; he says he doesn’t want to go home.  Elizabeth asks Jason, if Franco can’t be in Jake’s life, why Sam is.  She says Jake trusts Franco and if he is going to talk to anyone, it’s going to be him.  Franco calls and tells Jason that Jake is there; Jake starts to tell Franco about his appointment with Dr. Maddox.  When his parents show up, Jake asks how they knew he was there; Franco admits to calling them.  Jake says he’s just like them, saying he thought he could trust him.  Elizabeth takes Jake to the car and Jason stays to talk to Franco; Liz looks concerned, but Jason says they will be fine.  He theorizes why Franco called him, instead of Elizabeth; says he trying to “act like a responsible adult” to score points with Liz.  Franco tells him, he scored points too for not losing his cool like he usually does; Franco tells Jason that Jake is his friend.  He says maybe he just like art; probably got that from his mother, he says.  Jason tells Franco he doesn’t want his son there anymore; he tells him “don’t come near my kid again” and Franco says he’s just pissed because Franco knows Jake better than he does.  Elizabeth walks back in, asking what she missed.  Franco questions why Jake feels more comfortable with him than them; Jason says it’s because Franco made it that way.  They leave; Franco rolls out Jake’s art scroll and says, “Jake left this for me.”

Michael talks to Kristina; he tells her about Sonny’s affair with Nelle (apparently she’s been out of the loop for a while); she calls her a bitch.  Michael says she was hurting too; Kristina asks why he’s defending her.  He tells her about Nelle taking advantage of the situation; he also tells her she is staying in Port Charles.  He then tells them how their parents are handling things; she says Carly shouldn’t be so touchy on the subject of cheating.  Kristina tells Michael it is up to him to step in and get through to their parents; he goes to talk to his dad.   Nathan talks to Kristina briefly; she asks how much he thinks her mom knows.  He says he isn’t sure, but he hopes she isn’t hiding anything because she could be opening herself up to a whole new kind of trouble.

Nelle tells Sonny that he wasn’t just drunk when they “slept together”… she drugged him.  She explains everything she did, adding that it was all a set-up, as if that would make it better; he is even more angry now that it was all a lie.  He asks her how she thinks he’s gonna react; she apologizes and says she wishes she could take it all back, but she can’t.  He says it’s not just that she did it, but that she kept twisting the knife, making the recording, etc.; he asks why she is confessing now.  He says he is not giving her absolution; she asks why it matters.  He says he wants to know what’s in it for her; he says she didn’t just wake up with a guilty conscience and he doesn’t buy her story.  Michael walks in and asks what Nelle just confessed to; Nelle says she needs to go.  Sonny tells Michael what she just told him, that she drugged him that night; Michael is confused.  Sonny says he needs to tell Carly right now, and leaves.  Michael asks Nelle which is true; did she sleep with his father or drug him and lie about it.  Nelle says she actually thought it would be more “decent” if she just make Sonny think they slept together; she says she was gonna tell Michael, but she felt she owed it to Sonny to tell him first.  Michael gets really angry with her for her messed up thinking and tells her to leave; she apologizes again.  She says she hopes he can forgive her someday because she couldn’t stand to think he hated her; he tells her it’s not his job to fix her and closes the door.

Jax stops kissing Carly and tells her, they almost made this mistake the last time; she tells him it’s not a mistake and she doesn’t want to stop.  They go upstairs; they undress each other, and make love.  They laugh when they are done; she asks if Jax thinks she was using him.  He says he hopes so, because he was definitely using her.  He suggests they fill the next few hours the same way.  Sonny shows up at Carly’s; she and Jax are now finished making love; she tells him this isn't the best time.  He says he has something to tell her that will change everything.  He tells her he never slept with Nelle.

04-07-2017 (Friday) The Unknown Lady

As Tracy reads her father’s letter again, and stares at the painting, she tells her “daddy” that the “Unknown Lady is coming home” and she knows exactly where to put it.  Laura wanders the halls of the monestary and hears that woman crying again; she calls out.  The English-speaking monk asks if there isn’t any way they can convince her to leave the painting, mentioning the potential buyer again; Tracy writes them a check.  Laura asks her why it is so important to her; she simply says it is priceless, as it is the last connection she has to her father.  They leave the room for a few minutes and when they return, the painting is gone; one of the monks took it.  The head-monk returns it, and apologizes; his companion says “there will be dire consequences” and Tracy asks what that means, after noting that that man had pretended not to speak English earlier.  The monk tells her not to worry about it, as they have worked it out.  Laura still has a bad feeling about that woman crying; Tracy says they need to go and leave whatever is behind those dusty walls to the monks.

Michael goes to see Nelle at Perks; she tells him that he is too nice.  He sits down.  She says when you care about someone more than they care about you, you just get hurt; she then tells him everything she ever knew about her life has turned out to be a lie.  She tells Michael that Jax just talked to her; she says, back then, what she did made her feel closer to her dad, like she was needed.  She can’t believe that her father set her up to take revenge against Carly for something she didn’t even do; she pulls a poker chip out of her purse and shows it to Michael.  She says she found it in her father’s things when he came back after disappearing, post-surgery; she says she didn’t want to believe that he could be that stupid or selfish, so she bought his lies and pushed it out of her mind.  Michael seems to understand.  She says she doesn’t know what to do now; she carried her hatred for Carly around like a weapon.  She says that is all she’s ever known and now she doesn’t know who she is without it; she says nothing feels real anymore… except how she feels about him.  She tells him she had hope for the first time in her life, that night in the cabin; she thinks about how she could have had someone as great as him, if she hadn’t gone down this road.  He says it’s too bad there’s no way to take it back; she says she thinks maybe there is.  She goes to see Sonny; she tells him there is something he needs to hear that will change everything.

Franco is painting; Elizabeth knocks on the door.  He answers abruptly, but calms down as soon as he sees her.  She tells him about Jake’s appointment; he admits that Jake called him after the appointment, and that he turned down his request to see him.  She kisses him and explains that she still needs him to keep his distance “for now” but assures him things will be better soon.  She looks at the picture he is working on; it’s him, and he says he needs her now.  He asks her to undress and drapes her in a bold-patterned sheet; he wants it to contrast his monochrome half.  He kisses her and begins to paint.  After he finishes, they begin to make out; she then tells him she has to go, but says she might come see him later.

Sonny tells Dante that after Morgan died, there was a bottle of pills missing; he mentions the prescription name and Dante says that’s the one they have in evidence.  He gets handed the file; Dante looks.  Sonny asks whose fingerprints were on the bottle; apparently there were none… they close the file and Dante says that’s it, unless one of the robbers will plead out and describe the person they got them from.  Sonny goes home, and recollects his conversations with Carly about Morgan’s medication; he thinks about calling Carly.  Dante questions Ava about the pills, pleading with her to give him some answers; she says she just can’t.  She tells him to check with Max or the cleaning service and leaves.

Jax tells Carly he is the reason his mother is dead; he says that she was getting better, until he told her about Nelle.  He says he just had to tell someone; she forgave him, of course, but she was devastated.  He said she questioned what she did wrong as a mother, admitting he is not the man she raised him to be, and says he is just as responsible for her death as her illness was.  Carly tells him, he is not responsible for her death; he says she wanted him to tell Carly the truth, and she took a turn for the worse right after he told her.  That’s when he realized he had to tell the truth and make things right with Nelle.  He says he is prepared to face the consequences, whatever they may be.  Carly kisses him; they kiss passionately.  He stops and apologizes; she tells him he doesn’t have to.  They start kissing again; looks like they are going to make love, just as Sonny is about to learn that he didn’t really sleep with Nelle.

04-06-2017 (Thursday) Jax's Confession

Kiki comes to pick up her mother for a scheduled “mani-pedi” appointment; Ava tells her she was there when the robbery took place at The Floating Rib.  Kiki asks about what they took; Ava says something she doesn’t want anyone else to have.  She says she gets to go down tomorrow and claim her belongings; Kiki says she will go with her.  Ava says she doesn’t have to do that.  Kiki tells her mom that she is going to train to be a nurses assistant; she says she loves working with the patients and helping people.  Ava is a little taken back when Kiki says she wants to work in the Psych ward; but Kiki insists this is what she wants to do.  When Kiki brings up her confusion over why Morgan’s medication just stopped working, Ava gets noticeably upset.  She apologizes; she gets a text to come claim her property.  Kiki offers to go, but she tells her she’ll be fine; she tells her to go get that mani-pedi, without her.  They hug.

Dante makes a phone call; he then questions one of the robbery suspects.  He shows him Morgan’s bottle of pills and asks where he got them from; the guy says he can’t say.  He swears they aren’t his and he knows nothing about them; Dante asks his men to check the bottle for prints.  He calls his dad down to the station and tells him about the bottle; he says they should have the results back any minute.  At just this moment, Ava walks in the door; she backs up real quick and listens.

Lulu is on the phone, telling someone she is ready for the visit with Charlotte; she gets told something that doesn’t make her happy.  She tells Griffin that Valentin is sabotaging her time with her daughter; she goes straight to Wyndemere.  Anna apologizes to Valentin and lets go of his hand; he calls her back, asking her to wait.  He tells her that she just “rocked” his world; he says she has turned upside-down, the most painful part of his life and he doesn’t know what to think, or do.  She asks if he could just give her another chance so they don’t have to be enemies moving forward; there is a knock on the door.  Lulu proceeds to tell Valentin off, but he didn’t know the visit had been cancelled.  He looks at his phone and sees an email from child services; he says this was not his doing.  He tells Lulu off in return, saying she is lucky Charlotte wasn’t there to see her latest tirade, and shows her to the door.

Jax explains to Nelle that he was the one who contacted her father about finding a kidney for Joslyn; he tells her he is sorry, but explains that he would do anything for his daughter.  Nelle tells him to stop lying for Carly.  She says her father told her what happened; he says he can prove that her father lied to her.  She says her father never received a check; Jax shows her his signature on the back of the check, from a picture he has on his phone.  She is noticeably shaken; she talks about how her dad took off after her surgery, then came back and told her that Carly had cheated him, that he hadn’t been paid… she says she vowed to get revenge and found her father’s address book.  She says that’s when she “saw it” and “realized” …she falls back into the chair, gasping; she tells Jax she doesn’t want to talk about it anymore and asks him to go away.  He says okay, but tells her that he is there for her, if she wants to talk; he leaves.  She speaks out loud, to her father, saying she did everything he wanted her to – and it was all a lie.

Carly tells her mom about Jax buying Nelle’s kidney; she goes on to remember everything Nelle did to them after coming to town.  She pours herself a glass of wine; she says she will never forgive Nelle for what she did.  Michael tells his father that Jax came to town to tell Jos about her grandmother’s death; Sonny says he wishes he could make Joslyn feel better.  Michael tells him that Jos is not much of a fan of his right now, saying she hopes he and Carly get a divorce; Sonny says she just might get her wish.  He tells his dad he supports him and loves him, no matter what, but excuses himself saying he has to get back to work.

Griffin comes in and sees Sonny; he inquires about him and Carly.  Sonny tells him he doesn’t think she is going to forgive him; he says he will keep them in his prayers.  Sonny says he’s not sure that’s going to do any good.  He says he hopes he is wrong, and he is still going to say a prayer for them, and light a candle; Sonny says he might want to light twenty.  Bobbie comes in next; Sonny says he knows what she must think of him.  She says she doesn’t know how, because she doesn’t even know what to think of him; she says sometimes he’s a really great guy, but every time her daughter tries, she gets hurt by him.  She says all she has to ask him right now is why he didn’t warn her daughter when Nelle was getting closer to her; he says he wishes he had.  Michael goes to see his mom; she tells him about Jax buying the kidney… he is stunned.  He realizes Nelle’s story was real, more or less, only it was Jax, not Carly who did it.

04-05-2017 (Wednesday) The Pills and The Past

Ava tells Scotty about the robbery; she tells him the PCPD now has the pills.  She tries to talk him into breaking into the evidence room for her and taking the pills back; she throws out the threat of telling Sonny that he’s known all along, and Scotty caves.  With the wave of his arm, he leaves.  He goes down to the station and asks if Dante is there; the guard says, if he waits there, he should be there in a few minutes.  Scotty helps himself to the evidence room; Dante comes back and finds him in there… he tries to claim he is representing some “perp” but Dante knows he’s lying and makes him leave.  He goes back and tells Ava that he didn’t see the pills; he thinks maybe they have just “disappeared” like evidence sometimes does.  Dante is looking through the evidence room and finds the pills.

Lulu tells Dante about her meeting with Nelle; she tells him it’s clear Nelle has feelings for Michael.  He tells her if she is thinking about using Nelle to get to Valentin, it could blow up in her face; he tells her to be careful.  Lulu goes to see Ava; she asks if there was anything she knows that could help her with Valentin.  Ava says she knows that Valentin is more than willing to kill anyone who crosses him; she encourages her not to give up, though, saying she would love to see someone take down Valentin Cassadine.  She tells Lulu just to be careful; Lulu thanks her for talking to her, and says she needs to find Valentin’s Achilles Heel before he finds hers.

Anna goes to see Valentin; she tells him Robert pulled some strings and she met with an expert on memory loss.  She says she is beginning to remember some things; Valentin seems intrigued.  She admits to manipulating him to access classified information for the enemy; she says, however, that she was a victim too… not just him.  She tells him about Caesar and says he “wiped” her memory; he asks Anna to tell him what she remembers now, something about them.  She recounts a meeting at a church, a “dropsite” where they met once; he talked to her about some patron saint, they held hands, and she remembers looking into his eyes.  She says they were really sad; they ended up spending the night together.  She remembers him saying that was the first time he had ever “made love.”  She tells him that night meant something to her too; she grabs his hand and they are face to face once again.  Valentin looks as if he is going to cry.

Michael meets Joslyn for lunch; she says her dad is going to stay for a while, and mentions their mom getting a divorce.  Michael asks if she said that was divorcing him; she just goes on to talk about everything that’s happened, and says she needs to divorce Sonny.  They finish their lunch; Nelle tells Michael that part of her still likes Nelle, and she thinks he does too.  He politely refuses to discuss that, gives her a hug and they leave; Michael forgets his phone on the table.  He realizes it, and goes back for it, getting it from the girl at the counter, and makes a call to his mom; he mentions Jax being back and Sonny comes in and overhears.

Jax tries to explain his actions to Carly, and his reasons for them; she asks why in the hell he never told her.  He says he almost did, when Nelle showed up, until he realized she didn’t know – and he didn’t know she was Frank Benson’s daughter.  He pleads with Carly to understand, saying he would break every law and sell his soul to save his daughter; he says he never thought he would end up hurting her in the process.  He asks if she can forgive him; she says she and Sonny aren’t the only ones who got hurt by this.  Jax says he understands, he ended up hurting Jos; the one person he was trying to save.  Carly says she understands why he did what he did; she also says, however, that he left them wide open to a world of damage.  He shakes his head.  Sonny runs into Nelle at Perks; they exchange a few words and she makes a smart-ass remark about Carly possibly being his ex-wife.  She recants her version of the story and asks if he actually admires Carly’s selfishness; she says they can suffer side by side.  Sonny tells her, she is the one who is going to suffer.  Jax goes to meet with Nelle; she asks why he wanted to see her.  He tells her, because she is wrong about Carly.

04-04-2017 (Tuesday) The Truth Be Told

Carly comes home to find Jax; she hugs him.  He tells her about his mother’s death; she is sad to hear this news.  They talk about old times and how much his mother loved her; he then asks what happened with Sonny.  She tells him not to say he told her so; then tells him Sonny’s grief drove him to sleep with another woman, and he lied to her about it for months.  Jax says he doesn’t see her reaching the breaking point over a one-night stand, after all Sonny’s put her through in the years past.  She explains the situation to him, and he apologizes; he tells her this is all his fault.  He tells her he paid Frank for the kidney.

After uncovering the painting, Tracy says it’s not actually her; but obviously, it reminded her father of her.  Tracy angrily yells at the two Monks, who swear they don’t understand her; a man comes around the corner, speaking English.  He tells them many years ago, a gentlemen knocked on their door looking for asylum; J.L. told them this painting reminded him of his daughter, he says.  He hands Tracy a letter from her father.  The letter tells her that he loves her, wanted to add her back in the Will but didn’t have time, and he is leaving the painting to her as her inheritance.  But when Tracy tries to take it, the man tells her he can’t let her do that; he says, they’ve had the painting for two decades… her father never came back for it.  They have offered it for sale, to help many needy people, and have someone who is willing to pay for it; he says they need money.

Hayden has flashbacks from her night with Finn, after his withdrawals.  He comes out, after taking a shower, saying he feels much better; he thanks her for staying with him, and tries to kiss her, but she pulls away.  He asks what’s wrong; she says she has to go, gives him a little peck on the lips and leaves.  At the hospital, she talks to Elizabeth; Liz tells her she has a right to be selfish, and to make herself happy.  She says she can’t sacrifice her happiness out of obligation to Finn; Hayden goes back and tells Finn that she cannot walk this road with him.  She says that he said things that hurt her, emotionally, and she doesn’t think she can get over it, because he must really feel that way somewhere deep inside.  She gives him a list of rehab centers to contact, and leaves.

Jason and Sam review the footage of the man standing at the payphone; Sam gets a text message from the bank… Julian’s credit card has been used.  Sam asks Jason if he thinks Julian could actually be alive; he says he wouldn’t put it past Julian to skip town to try to avoid charges involving his sister.  Sam gets a visit from Nathan; he asks if her mother is home.  He tells her that Julian’s credit card was used to buy a One-way bus ticket to Los Angeles, California; he asks her if she knew of any plans her father may have had.  Nathan says they are going to follow up; he says he going to stop by her mom’s later tonight.  Sam says she doesn’t know anything; he says he still has to talk to her.

Amy comes in to the cafe, on the phone again, saying she picked out an outfit; she talks about some guy being “so nice,” saying he probably doesn’t even remember her.  Dillon comes in, and acts surprised to see her; she is happy to see him.  Apparently, they went to school together and are going to be working on a reunion committee together.  They laugh about old times, he tells her he’s thought about her so much through the years; she says she has thought about him too.  She obviously has a crush on him; Kiki walks in.  Dillon jumps up to kiss her and introduces her to Amy, as his girlfriend; Amy promptly makes an excuse and says she has to get going.  She bursts into tears the moment she steps outside the door; her girlfriend calls, and she tells her how disappointed she is.  She says she isn’t right for him; she doesn’t even like Game of Thrones.  Franco comes in and says he needs to talk to Kiki; he tells her about Jake, saying he doesn’t want to be the reason Jake turns out like him.

Jason and Liz bring Jake in to talk to Andre; Andre offers him some action figures.  Jake picks the Wizard of Oz set; he says, in his story, the witch and the scarecrow are friends.  Jake calls Franco when he finishes his appointment with Andre, asking when they can finish their ‘timelines’ – Franco says, he thinks his mom and dad should help him finish his.
