At the courthouse, Julian asks Scotty if he pled guilty for him; Scotty says no, because he got a much better deal for him, showing him the envelope.  Paul shows up at the courthouse and Alexis says she was wondering if he was coming; he said he had something to take care of, but it’s done now.  Ava puts on a show in the courtroom, drawing everyone’s attention to them, pretending to be angry; then they stand there and talk quietly to each other as if no one else would notice.  Sonny notices.  The hearing begins; Paul gives a fairly reasonable opening statement for the prosecution of Julian… then Scotty asks for a conference in chambers.  The judge declares a recess, telling everyone not to go too far; Scotty offers his evidence:  the warrant used to record Julian’s confession was issued for the wrong address (2813, instead of 2183), making the warrant and the wire tap invalid.  The judge goes to consider the evidence, leaving court in recess.

After reviewing the evidence, she concludes the recording and such, being obtained illegally, must be thrown out of evidence – Scotty moves that the case be thrown out for insufficient evidence.  Paul says, despite the loss of the wire tap, the people have sufficient evidence to proceed.  Lulu and Dante talk about the evidence Robert found; there was never anyone named Daphne living at that address on Cassadine Island.  They discuss the embryo that might possibly still exist… and, finally, the fact that it would be Starvros’ child.  Dante finally voices his opinion, asking her if she is sure she would want to raise that man’s child – she questions if he couldn’t love it.  He says he would love any child of hers, but doesn’t understand why she would want to spawn anything from that family (neither do I).  Dante gets called to work; Kevin happens by and sits down.

Kevin asks Lulu if he can talk to her about her mother; she says her mother is off on some adventure.  They then talk about the embryo; and he questions her wanting this child, saying it would be product of the union between she and her attacker… a constant reminder of what happened to her and Dante.  He worries about the emotional reaction when that day comes; he asks if she is sure she is prepared to face that reality.  She insists they have thought most all of that through; she says she just needs to find that part of her that’s out there before she decides what to do.

Jason runs into Michael at the hospital; Michael tells him he is there to propose to Sabrina… A doctor then tells Jason that Monica was attacked and is in ICU.  There, Jason finds Tracy, who is thinking she may have made a mistake by keeping the hospital open.  Jason goes in to see Monica; he recalls years before, after his first accident, how she begged him to come back to the family and he just wanted to be left alone.  He says he didn’t understand at the time, because he didn’t have kids of his own – he gets it now – and he whispers to her that there is another one of the way.  He thanks her for how much she loved him, and calls her mom.  She opens her eyes.

Michael runs into Felix (literally, while texting Sabrina) and tells him that he is going to ask Sabrina to marry him.  Felix is thrilled.  They are right outside the door of the room where Sabrina is lying.  After describing his plans to Felix, Felix goes to prep that room for a new patient and he finds Sabrina on the floor, not breathing; he calls for help.  Michael runs in.  They try, briefly, to resuscitate her, but declare her dead; Michael is devastated.  As Michael and Felix stand the hall now, talking to Dante, the forensics team takes photos of Sabrina (now looking very pale, with bluish lips).  Dante tells them that the killer could be the same one who’s been killing patients… another inconvenient victim.  He says they have a picture of this man’s legs and boots from Elizabeth’s phone; Michael appears to be shock.  He asks to see her; he leans over her, telling her how much he loves her and how grateful he is for what short time they had together - he slips the ring on her finger.
