Tuesday, October 23, 2018 (S56E140): A New Introduction

Jason brings Kristina to Sam’s house, noticeably drunk; Jason is there, and Kristina makes a big deal about how they keep pretending to not want to be together, and should just “get it over with” and do what everyone knows they want to.  Sam threatens to tell her parents that she was drinking, and puts her to bed.  Franco and Elizabeth, sit on a blanket in the park; she worries about Aiden not wanting to go out for recess.  Franco assures her she is a wonderful mother.  Oscar asks Alexis to represent him in emancipating himself from his parents; she warns him that it could case a rift between them.  Regardless of her warnings, Oscar decides this is what he wants to do.  Alexis cautions him not to say anything to his parents until he gets his life in order (i.e. a place to live and a way to pay for it); he says keeping secrets is “their way of doing things,” not his.

“Kevin” fantasizes about stabbing Laura, or strangling her, but a knock at the door interrupts him; it’s Ned.  Laura’s return comes as a surprise to Ned; she criticizes the work he has done as Mayor.  Ned welcomes her to throw her hat back into the ring, saying that the general election is only weeks away, which doesn’t leave her much time to campaign.  “Kevin” urges her to go for it, saying he doesn’t care if it takes time away from him; he suggests she launch a write-in campaign.  Nina gets to know Sasha better, and introduces her to her half-sister, Kiki; Ava and Valentin watch the meeting.  Kiki introduces her to Griffin.  Sasha apologizes for intruding on their date and says they should get together tomorrow; Ava notices the glance between Sasha and Griffin upon their introduction.  She says it appears they have the same taste in men, and she “can work with that.”
