Anna, crawling onto his bed in the morning, surprises Finn; he
asks if he is dreaming… she says, “you tell me” as she kisses him. Maxie comes into the Metro Court to see
Nina; Nina introduces Maxie to her daughter.
She says she loves saying ‘daughter.’
Maxie proceeds to tell Sasha a little too much about her relatives, then
says the “nature/nurture debate is very interesting” and asks, “how’s your
mental health?” Meanwhile, Valentin and
Peter exchange words. Sasha says, “as
far as mayhem and murder” her past is fairly normal; when Maxie leaves, she
tells Nina she is lucky to have such caring people in her life. Nina agrees; she invites Valentin to join
them, and asks him to convince Sasha to stay in Port Charles for a few more
days. She agrees to call her temp agency
and tell them she won’t be available “just yet.” Valentin invites Nina to a “family dinner” and she accepts. As Oscar leaves Alexis’ office, after
notifying her that he got a job, he bumps into Julian in the doorway; Julian
tells Oscar he is just there “as a friend” – after Oscar leaves, Alexis asks
Julian if that is true. He admits that
Kim did ask him to talk to her; he gently pleads Kim’s case. Alexis says she doesn’t want to add to Kim’s
pain, but she believes what is meant to be, will be. She thinks, if his parents aren’t trying to control him, Oscar
will make the right decision; Julian says he trusts her judgment.
Sam welcomes Jason back in; Spenelli is there and excited to see Jason. He is even more excited when he perceives that Sam and Jason are working their way toward a reunion. Sam cautions him not to read too much into it; he tells them he has “intriguing information.” He says there is evidence that Margaux may have been cheating on her now-deceased husband, with Scully… they note that she never filed a claim on her husband’s life insurance. Sam shows some empathy about being in love with two men, and having to declare your husband dead; she says maybe it was “just too much for her.” She explains her experience to Jason; he says he is sorry she had to go through that. Spenelli once again points out their compassion for one another. He also tells them that the insurance company is opening their own investigation into Marino’s death. Sonny comes into Charlie’s; he let’s Kristina know that he backs her decision to work there. She thanks him and asks why she can’t get that same attitude from her mom. He says the place attracts a “bad crowd” though, as he looks back at the D.A. He tells Kristina he just wants her to know that he loves her and supports her. He places his hand on hers, saying it’s very hard to go through a break up; Margaux watches intently. They exchange glares, as Sonny exits.
Oscar comes in talking on the phone, trying to find a room to rent; a girl notices. After Sonny leaves, the same girl goes to talk to Kristina; they know each other… she says she has something that may take Kristina’s mind off of whatever is bothering her. She asks her to go to a bonfire at the beach with her; Oscar comes in and Kristina introduces him to the girl as “Daisy.” She tells Oscar she thinks she can help him out with a place to stay; she says money isn’t even really an issue… he can help with chores. Sonny goes to Sam’s and tells them that he caught Margaux trying to cozy up to Kristina at the pub. Maxie asks Peter if he ever got those anti-anxiety medications he needed; he tells her he doesn’t think he is going to need them, after all… because of her. She invites him to go shopping with her for James’ Halloween costume. Anna tells Finn she tracked Obrecht all over Europe, says she probably has so many people who owe her favors, she figures she’ll just have to wait for her to resurface; she tells Finn, in the meantime, he can keep her occupied.
