Oscar and Joslyn begin a search for
his father; Carly watches them through the doorway. Sonny tells her to stop hovering; but Carly doesn’t listen. Jios and Oscar claim to be doing schoolwork;
they almost kiss and Carly barges out onto the porch. She tells Oscar she wants to meet his mother; he says she is a
doctor at Mercy Hospital and is very busy… Carly says they can find a date that
works for both of them. Joslyn uses her
mom’s credit account to pay for search records on Oscar’s mother; they are
disappointed when there is no information about his father there. Jos says there must be something at his
house with his father’s name on it; Oscar says he has always been to afraid to
upset his mother, so he’s never looked.
Jos tells him she could search for it, and no one would ever know, so
they head to his house; his mom works until 7:30, he says. They tell Carly and Sonny they are going to
the library.
Valentin complains about not getting Derik Wells Media; Nina says
they can look for another business to buy, calling herself noble and
devoted. She tells Valentin she is probably going to be out of a job by
next week anyway; ‘Jason’ walks in and she says to make that “by the end of the
night.” She says she knows why he is
there; ‘Jason’ says that’s good… then it won’t take long. After she rants about how she got the job
and proved Julian wrong by making the magazine a soaring success; she tells him
he would be a fool to fire her. He says
he knows that, saying that’s why he came to ask her to stay. Valentin meets with Cassandra in the park;
she tells him that she wants to rekindle BOTH
of their businesses while she is in town. She tells him if he keeps “wearing the straight jacket of a good
family man [he] will go stark raving mad.”
The former Jason asks Ava if she has
a picture of “Jason Morgan.” He stares
at it; she asks why it fascinates him so… he asks more questions about this
Jason Morgan. Ava tells him how
everyone thought he was dead, how he came back and got hit by a car, had to
have complete facial reconstruction and didn’t even remember who he was for two
years. Jason asks why this man thinks
he is Jason Morgan then; she says Carly Corrinthos figured it out. He sees a picture of Avery, and notices it
was taken inside Sonny’s house; he is surprised when she tells him Sonny is the
father of her child. He asks her to
take a message (a note) to Sonny for him; she warns him that Sonny isn’t fond
of her. But agrees to take it. While she’s gone, he leaves her a note,
loads two pistols and puts them in his pickets. Sonny tells Ava the answer is no, whatever she wants; she says if
he sends her away, he will miss out on something important.
Franco goes to see
his mother; he tells her that he wants the actual truth. He says he has checked everywhere for a
death certificate and can’t find one anywhere.
She insists that she didn’t lie; Franco says he knows she did. He insists she show him Andrew’s grave; he
says he wants to hear all about him.
She starts talking about their progress, walking, talking …she laughs
about their first words. He brings up
the grave again and Betsy says he doesn’t want to go there…to the truth. She says it’s because she loves him that
she’s lying; for all she knows, she admits, Jason’s twin could still be alive. She says she doesn’t know what happened to
him after he left them… Franco is confused about how he “left.” Betsy starts to cry and says she gave him
up… she hopes to see him again one day, to know he’s okay and to know what kind
of man he became. Franco asks why she
let him go; she said he wasn’t safe with them… Franco asks why not. She said she heard him screaming one day and
found him at the bottom of the basement stairs, twisting, bleeding and almost
dead; broken bones, a concussion.
Franco asks what caused Drew to fall down the stairs; Betsy says, “you
did.”
