Scotty surprises Ava by showing up her
door in the morning; he compliments her improved looks. She admits it is a lot better than it was;
he gives her the check from Franco’s art exhibit. He sits down and notices the two martini glasses and asks if she
had some company last night; Griffin goes in to speak to his superior. He tells him he has made a decision about
his future in the priesthood. He says
he is going to leave the priesthood.Franco searches a data base at the
hospital; Elizabeth notices him struggling with it. And asks what it is he’s
looking for. He tells her he is just
trying to figure out the best way to tell Jason that he has a dead brother.
Our
old favorite Jason goes to Sam’s house (something I missed yesterday?)… he is
standing in her living room and sees all the hot wheels on the table; he sniffs
her jacket which is hanging on the arm of the couch. He hears something and darts back out the door; he sees Sam come
downstairs. He almost goes in, but then
hears ‘Jason’ call down to her, he steps back.
While hiding behind the side of the house, he hears Sam and ‘Jason’
laughing and hugging each other, and hears Jason repeating promises they’ve
made to each other. Sam says she meant
every word and says he has her heart; our old Jason cringes outside the
door. Sam starts talking about Sonny
and Carly losing Morgan; our old Jason almost gasps. He looks heartbroken as he sees Sam kissing this other man we
have come to know as Jason. They go
upstairs again, and the former Jason walks back in to the living room. He picks up Sam’s jacket again and then
tosses it on the other couch; he walks out the front door. She notices her jacket being in a different
spot when they come back down, but thinks she is just forgot where she laid
it.
Scotty asks Ava if she is dating somebody; she asks if she has to be dating
a man in order to spend time with him.
He says he’s just trying to look out for her, as he starts to sound like
a father, insisting she be careful because it might be a guy trying to take
advantage of her (for her money). Ava
gets pissed, accusing him of saying the only way she could have a guy was
because of her money. She recalls Griffin
telling her that it wasn’t a mistake for him and he hopes it wasn’t for her;
she lies to Scotty though and tells him that she paid for some company. Scotty says she should have called him; she
smiles to he actually cares about her.
He says he’s told her a hundred rimes that he cares about her; she pats
his shoulder, smiling, and tells him thank you, then asks him to leave. She says she wants to be alone; Franco gets
a text from Scotty.
Our true Jason goes to the cemetery to check the headstones;
he tells Morgan he was hoping he heard wrong.
He speaks of “this guy” Sam is married to now, and says he doesn’t know
what happened to him or anybody. He
tells him he was at his dad’s place, saw the pictures; he asks how this could
have happened, reminding Morgan that he was named after him. He hears something and pulls hjs gun out as
he turns around; Ava is standing there.
She is terrified; he apologizes.
He asks when she got back from Russia; she suddenly realizes that he was
Patient 6. She mentions that Dr. Kline
tried to kill her because she helped him, and mentions the surgery not being
finished. She asks him if he knew
Morgan Corinthos; he says yes, and asks how he died. Ava asks if he has a place to go; he says no… she takes him back
to her place. She tells him she rarely
has anyone coming to call and offers to get him some towels, telling him that
all of her brother’s clothes are still there and he can help himself.
Alexis comes to see Sam and complains about
Kristina moving with Parker; Sam says she can say anything because she did the
same thing. She says if she is in love,
they have to allow her to be happy.
Alexis isn’t happy Sam is siding with her sister, but Sam calms her
down; our supposed Jason (who we know now is obviously Drew) comes
downstairs. Together, they tell her
that they bought Derik Wells Media; Alexis says Julian may have just done the
one good thing that secures her future.
Ava receives a text announcing that her brother’s media company has just
been sold; she mentions it out loud then makes a call, asking why they didn’t
call her. When they tell her Sam and
her husband were the buyers, she says that makes sense; she hangs up and tells
her new friend that her brother’s company was just sold to Jason Morgan. (Jason’s expression says it all.)
