Alexis is trying her
damnedest to stay productive, cleaning house; and pours out her wine bottle,
asking if she would be doing that if she was a drunk; then she comes in and
calls Harbor View Wine & Spirits for a delivery. Sam stopped by to see Alexis; Alexis asks if it is about Laura’s
invitation. They talk about Laura
selling the mansion; Alexis says she thinks she should sink the whole
island. Her delivery shows up; she
claims it’s just some gifts, and avoids letting Sam see the label, then
suggests that they go to Laura’s party.
Dante brings Rocco into the station, dressed like a little policeman;
Nathan says he looks pretty spiffy.
Another officer offers to take Rocco to get some candy; Dante asks
Nathan how he’s doing, after everything with Charlotte. Nathan tells him he’s okay; he says he still
gets to be Georgie’s step-father and he and Maxie may have some of their own before long. Lulu and Maxie exchange Halloween costume
pictures of their kids, and talk about her kidnapping. Maxie tells her that she and Nathan have set
their wedding date for New Year’s Eve; the three-year anniversary of their
meeting. She opens a box; a pre-wedding
gift from a friend. She calls and asks
Nathan if he can get off work for a little while; she leaves a note for him to
meet her in the shower.
Bobbi comes in
to talk to Carly at the Metro Court; she says when BJ died she tried to ignore
the horrible truth that she was gone.
She tells Carly she will never be ready, but she has to go through the
pain; Carly says she can’t, she can’t deal with it right now. Nelle takes pictures of Avery, dressed up in
her costume; Sonny walks in. She tells
him Ava wanted to take Avery trick-or-treating and asks if he would like her to
come back, in cases he needs anything; he says he doesn’t need a
babysitter. She goes to see Carly,
shows her Avery’s costume pictures and tells her that she is very worried about
Mr. Corinthos. Carly asks Nelle why she is so
worried; Nelle tells her Sonny was gong all day and just got home, is drunk and
clearly didn’t want to be asked where he was.
She apologizes for being late for work; Carly tells her that it’s okay,
as it sounds like Avery needed her. Nelle offers to take care of everything so that Carly can go home with her mom; Carly thanks her. Bobbi lets Nelle know that she doesn’t really like, nor trust, her.
Kristina shows up at Sonny’s; he is drinking and tells her that he was a horrible father to Morgan. Kristina tells him not to do that. Kristina takes the glass out of her father’s hand, sits down and tells
him that the last time she saw her brother, they argued over napkins. He tells her that Morgan needed him and all
he did was yell at him (he recalls Morgan swearing he was taking his medicine;
upset that he wasn’t getting better, and storming out). He looks at the door and says, “I should
have stopped him.” He says he remembers
Morgan walking out every time he looks at the door; he feels bad because Morgan
didn’t feel unconditional love, the last thing he felt was a home that was
judging him. He says, again, he should
have stopped him. After Kristina
leaves, Sonny turns to look at the chair; Morgan grabs his jacket off of it and
says, “I’m out of here.” He whizzes
past Sonny, heading for the door; Sonny says, “Morgan wait… let me talk to
you.” Morgan asks what else he could
possibly have to say; Sonny says a lot more – he tells him he loves him, and
says getting kicked out of school was just a mistake. He tells Morgan a mistake does not define who you are; Morgan
says he’s a screw-up, and they both laugh.
Sonny says yeah, but he’s also his son and he’s proud of him because he
found his passion and even though it didn’t work out, because of his illness,
he has never seen anybody fight more than him.
He tells him next time, he’ll kick ass and says he will be there for
him; they hug. Morgan tells him he
needs to; people to see and all. Sonny
says okay; he leaves. The doorbell
rings; Sonny grabs the candy bowl and opens the door… it’s Morgan again,
dressed up like a zombie. He comes in,
just staring at Sonny.
Kevin shows up
at Wyndemere’s door, wearing a rubber lion’s mask…he has a party to go to, for
children. Lucy arrives (slightly
awkward); Kevin excuses himself. Laura
asks if there is a problem with the sale; Lucy says not at all – she’s just
wondering if Laura wants to sell any of the furniture. She says no because it all belongs to
Spencer now (but where is she going to keep it?). Lucy is disappointed.
People begin arriving for the party; first Lulu, then Alexis and
Sam. Kevin comes back, or so Laura
thinks; the costume is the same. He
offers Alexis a drink; she declines.
Lulu sees him and starts talking to him and her mother and him, then
Kevin actually shows up at the door.
Laura gets a call from Lucy, who says now there is a problem; apparently
she cannot sell the house… Spencer doesn’t own it. When Lulu asks, then who does, Valentene pulls the mask off his
face and says, “I do.”
As a faithful viewer of General Hospital for thirty+ years, I'm getting concerned for the fate of the show. My other two favorites were cancelled a few years ago; All my Children and One Life to Live, ever-so-briefly revived on the internet, not to yet be seen again, are lost for good it seems. My intention is not only to keep viewers who might have missed out on episodes informed of what is going on, but also to point out the stupidity occasionally written into episodes. Watch out writers!

Griffin ruminates about
how he has failed every test put before him; he tells Anna he doesn’t think he
can be this girl’s father. Anna says
maybe he should give her up. He asks if
she thinks he would be a bad father; she says no one knows until they are one,
and adds that giving her to someone who would love her and take care of her
wouldn’t be abandoning her. She goes on
to explain that she actually gave Robin up when she was a baby (after just a
few precious days with her), telling her story… how Robin only knew her as a
friend for five years. She tells him it
was the right decision for her, but she regrets every day that she missed being
with her. Charlotte comes out and
stands in the middle of the living room; Anna tells Griffin this is his chance
to find out what kind of a father he can be.
He sits down and asks Charlotte if she is having trouble sleeping; she
asks if her mom is back yet. He says
no, but tells her she asked him to tell her how much she loves her, and offers
to read her a bedtime story. He gets
her to sleep and Anna tells him he’s a natural.
Valerie asks Jordan if she heard from Curtis; she says, yeah, she did… she recalls their heated conversation. She warns Valerie not to trust Curtis, saying he will end up hurting her. Curtis apologizes to Jason. Apparently, this is Sonny’s office Curtis was snooping around… he says it was a misunderstanding and tries to leave; Jason insists on knowing what he’s looking for. Curtis says he was looking for more evidence about the bomb, and offers what information he knows. He says the bomb was rigged to go off when weight came off the seat; Jason says that means it was planted between the time that Julian’s driver left it and Morgan got in it. Jason lets Curtis leave; Jordan shows up… she asks Jason if he has any memory of one of Sonny’s connections; she hands him a file. She says the bomb has his signature all over it; she begins questioning Jason, but he refuses to be interrogated and asks if he needs a lawyer.
Sonny continues to make apologies to Morgan; he says he can’t do this anymore, he’s tired of failing everyone… he lifts the gun to his head. Robin calls out to him; she asks what he is doing there. He claims he just went there to think – she avoids asking about the gun in his hand, as he tells her that he might be dangerous. She says she thinks she’ll stay, and starts to talk about their friendship with Stone; then she says Stone wouldn’t forgive Sonny for bringing a gun up there. She says there’s no need for it; he says he could use it to end Julian Jerome. She asks if he’s thinking about that, or about putting an end to himself. She recalls being there, on that bridge, after her diagnosis; she thought about jumping, and Jason stopped her. She points out that she almost give up everything, her family and her future; Sonny tells her that killing himself might be the right thing. She says Morgan Stone Corinthos fought so hard to hang onto his life, he would be terribly disappointed in Sonny, if he just gave up on his. Sonny asks her to leave and gives her his word that he won’t shoot himself; she says his word means a lot to her and asks if it still means something to him… he says yeah, and they hug.
Michael goes to talk to his mom; he tells her what Nelle said. They discuss whether or not either of them think they can ever forgive Sonny; Michael says he’s not pressuring her because she needs to do what’s right for her, but reminds her that she and Sonny are the only ones that know what they are going through. She says Morgan is not even buried and she doesn’t know what the future looks like; she tells him that its okay if he wants to forgive his dad though, to be there for him and she tells him he needs to talk to somebody about how he feels… he tells her that he feels like a bad brother. He tells his mom that the more he thinks about it, the more he wonders if it is their fault Morgan is dead. Robin comes into the Metro Court and finds her mother; she says she wanted to pay her respects to Carly (but Carly isn’t there). Carly tells Michael that she understands how hurt he is, and she knows that Sonny is hurting too; she tells him he can’t blame himself.
Back on the bridge, Sonny recalls Carly screaming about him, blaming him for Morgan’s death; he pulls the gun back out, saying he needs to make this right for Morgan… then puts it back in his holster.
Julian attempts to talk
to Alexis but Alexis tells him Morgan is dead because of him; she adds, it should
have been you. She tells him everyone
knows he is a murderer; he says he didn’t kill Morgan, and she says he just as
well have. Julian blames Carly and
Sonny for lousy parenting, saying they are lucky he was the only casualty and
calls Morgan a misbegotten runt; Carly comes in behind him at that moment,
pulls him backward and punches right in the face. Awesome. She grabs a
bottle and dares him to come after her, telling him everyone wanted him dead;
she tells him to leave Port Charles and throws the bottle at him as he is
walking out the door.
Nelle finds Michael on the bridge; he says it’s a good place to think. She heads on her way and he asks her to stay; he shows her an old keyring of Morgan’s, a penguin, telling her Morgan loved penguins because they are loyal. The dad and mother stay together for a lifetime, sticking by each other no matter what… she asks Michael what Morgan would think about nobody sticking by his father. Michael asks how badly off his father is. She tells him is drinking all the time and he is slow to respond; he’s is only focused when he is with Avery. Nelle tells Michael that she isn’t sure his father will make it, if he is left alone to grieve about Morgan.
Jason shows up at the Floating Rib just in time to pull Sonny’s hands off of Scotty’s throat. Scotty asks him if the dreams have started yet, mentioning that his daughter, Karen still comes to him; he tells Sonny he will dream about the child he murdered. After Sonny leaves, Ava tells Scotty he is welcome, letting him know she was the one who texted Jason. Scotty says he is going to call the police, but Ava talks him out of it, saying they’ll have to bring up everything about the evening and she is worried Sonny will begin to piece it all together – he visits to see Avery, being in Morgan’s room – and she worries he will then kill her. At home, Sonny reviews the events of that night with Jason; he tells him never in a million years would he have ordered a car bomb (probably since that is how his first wife died) – he also brings up the fact that he had to contract the hit out, because the man he trusted (Jason) refused to do the job. Jason asks if he is blaming him for Morgan’s death now. Sonny tells him he doesn’t want to have this conversation right now; Jason insists on staying. Then Sonny tells him, he couldn’t have eliminated Julian like ‘that’… and none of this would have happened. He says he used to be someone he could count on, but he can’t count on him anymore. Jason offers to find out what happened; Sonny says it won’t help, Carly’s gone, his sons are gone, he’s got nothing left. Jason says he’s still there; Sonny says he lost him a long time ago. Carly pours Alexis another drink, and pours one for herself (drinking it rather quickly); Alexis tries to console her.
Curtis comes into the station to see Jordan; he asks if there is any progress on the hospital case and she tells him yes. Then she tells him she wants him to stay out of her investigation against Sonny; he tells her he isn’t beholden to her, this is his job and she needs to stay out of it, adding he’s interfering with her investigation. She asks if he’s beholden to TJ; she warns him when she goes after Sonny, she may have to go after him too. Then all of the sudden, she realizes he isn’t working for Sonny; he’s working for Julian. She starts screaming at him, but he cuts her off, letting her know that Julian has lost faith in the PCPD and that’s why he is in this investigation. He tells her he will give her whatever information he finds when his client approves the release of the information; he says she probably hates him because he’s better than her whole department and continues egging her on. He says he thinks she’s threatened by him; she laughs, she gets a phone call, and then she tells him that he needs to go.
Maxie bursts into Charlotte’s room, asking where she is; Griffin tells her that she knocked him out and left. He says they figured out that Maxie had been kidnapped and Anna says she must have figured she was next. They discuss Valentene, figuring he is the one who paid the man who grabbed Maxie; Anna says she is afraid this may just be the beginning of trouble for Claudette and Charlotte. Nathan says he will make sure they are okay, and Griffin tells him he doesn’t have to… they are his responsibility. Nathan reminds him that it is his job to protect and serve, and that’s what he is going to do, adding that even though she isn’t his daughter, that little girl is innocent in all this. They go have lunch, but Maxie is having a hard time eating; she is worried about Charlotte, and, strangely, about Claudette – she says that guy is going to go after Claudette, they way he went after her, and even though she doesn’t like her, she doesn’t want her harmed. That’s nice.
Michael tells Nelle he’s not sure he can ever forgive his father; Nelle says he doesn’t have to forgive him, he just needs to be there for him. Then she says she hopes she didn’t overstep; Michael asks her if maybe she could go stay at the house for the night to look after Avery, until he make other arrangements for her. Sonny tells Jason he’s been distant since he got his memory back, it’s not the same and he’s on his own now; Jason tells him he is still there, but Sonny tells him he doesn’t want him there, saying every time he looks at him he just remembers what he’s lost. He tells him to get out of there, and Jason goes. Nathan gets news that Claudette’s plane landed, but she wasn’t on it. Ava gets a phone call from Nikolas? Michael goes to see his mother, thanks to a phone call from Alexis. Jason comes home to find Curtis snooping around, and Sonny takes a stroll on the bridge as he recalls Morgan storming out of the house, telling Carly he is dead, her anger; he pulls out a pistol and apologizes to Morgan.
Nelle finds Michael on the bridge; he says it’s a good place to think. She heads on her way and he asks her to stay; he shows her an old keyring of Morgan’s, a penguin, telling her Morgan loved penguins because they are loyal. 10-25-2016 (Tuesday)
Franco and Elizabeth go to
the police station; Franco tells Jordan he is about to give her everything she
needs to close the investigation into the attacks at General Hospital. Franco explains that his mother, while out
on an unauthorized field trip from the crazy hospital, was the one who attacked
Bobbi and Lucas. They play the
recording, but Jordan says it’s not enough; Franco hands her two checks and a
rental receipt for a car, rented by the guard who accepted payment from Heather
and helped his mother slip out.
Julian thanks Nina for ‘putting some money into his pocket’ and for being one of the only people in town who isn’t judging him… she asks who says she’s not. She tells him he’s slime, he has brought nothing but pain into everyone’s life. He tells her he took the fruit basket to Sonny’s; she says she’s surprised he’s still alive. She tells him she doesn’t like him, but she doesn’t wish him dead. He mentions wanting to get Alexis back; Nina tells him she thinks it will happen ‘never.’ He says she’s wrong.
Alexis runs into Sonny on the Floating Rib; he tells her he doesn’t want to be rude, but doesn’t feel like company – she tells him she is sorry about Morgan – he really doesn’t want to hear it and excuses himself to go inside. Alexis talks to Diane on the phone; she lies to her, telling her she’s with the girls right now (she’s really standing on the boat, enjoying a drink.) Jason talks to Max, who tells him that Sonny is alone and in bad shape; Jason asks if he’s drinking and he says “non-stop.” Jason asks if he’s taking his meds… he says he doesn’t know; he tells Jason that he has to take care of him or something else bad is going to happen. Jason tells Max to let him know if Sonny starts spiraling out of control; Max insists he needs to do something now. Sam comes home, with Danny (dressed as a pirate); Max hugs Sam and leaves. She asks why Max was there; Jason says he’s worried about Sonny, and so is he. He fills her in on what Max said; she agrees Jason needs to try and says moving can wait… Carly, Sonny and the kids need them right now.
Ava meets with Scotty and tells him that she is still worried for her safety, because she “killed Morgan.” Scotty tells her that’s not true; but she argues and explains that she was the one who set everything in motion. She says Sonny will kill her if he ever finds out; Sonny overhears and asks what he doesn’t know. She looks terrified, but tells him she knows something about Morgan’s death; Scotty interrupts, telling her this is a bad idea. Ava tells Sonny that she saw Morgan at the Floating Rib that night, claiming she tried to talk to him and reason with him, tried to stop him from leaving, but he wouldn’t listen to her – she says she feels guilty because she was the last one to talk to him and she knew he was in bad shape; she says she should have gone after him. Sonny walks out onto the deck and talks to Alexis now; he recalls the last time he and Morgan talked, wishing he would have said something else to him. He said he told him he was disappointed in him, and accused him of lying; his regret is that being the last thing Morgan thought of in the last few hours of his life. Alexis puts her arm around him.
Ava tells Scotty that he shouldn’t have stopped her from going after Morgan and runs out, blaming him for Morgan's death; Scott follows her, sits down with her and she then starts to cry, realizing she was also the one who made Morgan think Kiki was cheating on him, which set him off. Scotty tells her she has to learn to live with what she’s done; he tells her he is still her lawyer, and hopefully, still her friend. Alexis tells Sonny that this all started because she blew her testimony and set Julian free; if he had been sent to prison, none of this would have happened. Sonny tells her he doesn’t blame her; she tells him no one person is really to blame, not even him… it was the result of a whole lot of horrible circumstances. Julian sees Sonny outside the door; Nina tells him to leave Sonny alone for once. Sonny sees Scotty and says he is the reason Morgan is dead; if Scott had done his job, he says, Julian would have been in prison. They get into a physical struggle; Ava texts Jason.
Hayden and Finn are making out on the couch; Tracy shows up at the door. They try not to answer, but she insists; he lets her in and she asks if he ended up jousting with Hayden’s date for her hand last night. They both look guilty. Apparently Finn had called Tracy to tell her that she should give Hayden another chance at ELQ; Hayden gets pissed that he did that without talking to her, and Tracy fells like it’s a set up. Somehow, Hayden misunderstands Finn’s attempt and says he went to a lot of trouble to try to manipulate her out of his life. She tells Tracy she doesn’t want to work with her and Tracy says that’s good because she wouldn’t hire her to clean her floors. After she leaves, Finn tells Hayden that seeing her sleeping on his couch this morning made him feel happier than he has any day since his wife died; he admits that it did scare him a little, and he called Tracy just to give her something better to focus on besides him. But he tells her when he kissed her, he wasn’t thinking about anything else in the world but her; but Hayden insists his wife is still there, keeping him from giving himself to anyone, including her. She leaves.

She leaves.
10-24-2016 (Monday)
Dante shows Carly and Sonny
a jade necklace that they found at the crashsite; it belonged to Morgan. Carly had given it to him. Sonny asks if there was any evidence that he
might be alive; Dante says no. He
leaves. Carly wonders if they should
wait, to see if the PCPD finds anything that they might be able to bury. She tells Sonny that she has nothing left
for him, she can’t help him, she can’t grieve with him; unless he can go back
and undo everything, there’s nothing he can do to make it right. Kiki shows up, and tells them that she
really did love Morgan and she hopes they know that; but Carly wants to know
what she means when she says she caused Morgan pain on that last night. Kiki tells her that he thought there was
something going on with her and Dillon; and that Morgan thought he saw them
having sex, but they weren’t. Carly
yells at her for abandoning Morgan when he needed her most; she says she knew
she was a liar. She calls her a
pathetic, petty little girl and tells her to get out. Sonny hugs Kiki and tells her it’s alright. Kiki says she knows she screwed up, but she
really did love Morgan. Sonny says he
knows; and he’s happy Morgan got to experience that kind of love. Carly comes back down and tells Sonny he has
to leave; she can’t be with him anymore she says, because every time she looks
at him, she sees the man who killed her son.
Finn wakes Hayden up, gently…but then she jumps and tells him to stay away from her. She apologizes; she says it’s a reaction to waking up in a strange room. He hands her some asprin and a glass of water; she has a bit of a hangover. He reminds her about what happened; but then tells her that he cannot cash that check. He is worried that the man will come back after Hayden; he can’t take that chance. Hayden remembers saying that she believed Finn wanted to have sex with her; she asks him to deny it. He tells her he can’t; he is interested, but he doesn’t have long to live, so it’s just not fair. She says she knows it’s a risk, but – he grabs her, and kisses her, passionately.
Anna looks at a picture of Valentene Cassidine; she says she didn’t know his name, but she recognizes his face, specifically his eyes. She says he must be smart, because there was never any evidence against him until the Cassidine Island incident. Laura overhears them talking about Valentene, and she warns them that he will stop at nothing to get what he wants. Anna says she knows that he is a dangerous man and will act accordingly; Lulu congratulates them on the new addition to their family, and excuses herself when Kevin arrives. They sit down to eat; Laura tells Kevin that Anna was talking about Valentene… then she starts talking about selling the castle. Kevin gets lost in thought.
Griffin goes to see what’s taking Claudette so long; she is in her room packing – he knows she is skipping town and tries to stop her. She hits him in the back of the head with a glass paperweight and he falls to the floor. Maxie determines that this is not how her story is going to end; as the daughter of Frisco and Felicia Jones, she says, she has to be able to think of a way out of there. Nathan determines that the kidnapper must have thought that Maxie was Claudette and took her by mistake. Maxie gets herself loose from the chair again, but finds the basement door locked; she searches the shelves, and finds a cell phone.
She reaches Nathan, just as she starts to fade; she drops on the steps. She can’t tell him where she is though, other than that she is in a basement – she tells him he put her in the trunk of his car to take her there. Then she tells him she doesn’t know how long she can wait; there is gas filling the room. She describes the car ride as being less than fifteen minutes and says there was this annoying hot dog song; he knows the one, he always wants one when they drive by there. Nathan finds her, just in time; she is passed out, but comes to when he gets her into the fresh air outside. Claudette gets on a plane; Valentene sits down beside her and says he thinks she has something she stole from him.

10-21-2016 (Friday)
Sonny comes to see Carly at
the penthouse; he asks if he can please come in. She allows him to come in to say what he has to say, but then
says he has to go. He tells her he
wants to plan Morgan’s memorial service; she tells him she already has it
planned – it will be November 11th at All-Saints’ Church. He asks when she was going to tell him; she
says she is telling him now. He asks
how she can take this away from him; she reminds him that he took Morgan away
from them. She reminds him that she
begged him not to retaliate against Julian; he made his choice and it wasn’t for
them. He says he was just trying to
keep his family safe; and yet, she says, Morgan isn’t safe… he is dead. He’s never going to get married, be a
father, or grow old, because of Sonny’s choices; she says she should never have
talked herself into thinking that loving him was more important than keeping
her kids safe.
Jason tells Sam he has been thinking about what comes next; he said he was thinking about Michael and Sonny. He describes how they hugged after hearing the news, but then Michael begged Sonny to tell him he had nothing to do with it, but Sonny couldn’t deny it; he said he saw the wall go up. He thinks Michael may find a way to forgive Sonny, but he doesn’t know how Sonny is ever going to forgive himself. He goes on to tell her that he knows Sonny loves his kids, but it’s because of him that Morgan is dead; he doesn’t want that to happen to his family, and he asks Sam what she thinks about moving. She says they aren’t targets; he says Morgan wasn’t a target either. She tells him if they leave, he’ll be leaving some very important people behind; she asks if he is really ready to do that. She tells him she doesn’t want to leave her sisters, or her mother, really. He suggests they just relocate a few towns away, so they can be here if anyone needs them; he just feels that would be more safe. She agrees. She grabs her belly; the baby is kicking. Jason talks to the baby.
Anna meets Felicia for lunch; she mentions that she was supposed to meet Maxie to discuss wedding plans, but she never made it. Something must have come up, she says; she is sure Maxie will let her know. However, after a while, she gets concerned and asks Nathan if Maxie told him where she was going this morning, because they had plans and she didn’t show – he says he has been working all evening; Felicia tells him she is officially worried then… she may not have even made it home last night. He tells her that Maxie went to do something, but he doesn’t know what, last night; she called his mom to baby-sit Charlotte. Maxie is still tied to the chair; the man comes down the stairs, saying good morning. She asks him if he is going to kill her. He says he brought her breakfast; eggs. She asks him to get it away from her, she is vegetarian. He says she’ll eat it because it’s all she’s getting; she refuses to talk then. She tells him if he will make her an egg-white omelet with goat cheese, he’d be happy with what she can tell him. He goes upstairs; she is trying to get the tape off her hands. He comes back down with French Toast; she says she doesn’t eat gluten and pushes him, getting up, she tries to run.
Lulu comes to the station; Nathan tells her that Charlotte is not his daughter… Lulu questions if that means that Claudette is also lying about Valentene Cassadine. Dante is on the phone with someone, trying to find out what the elements of the bomb were; he is losing his patience. Lulu tells him he needs to stop working this case; he is not thinking straight, she says. He’s too close to it; he refuses, saying he did nothing for Morgan while he was alive – he owes him. She says okay; she kisses him and leaves. Jordan comes out of her office and tells Dante that his wife has a point. Lulu and her mother meet for a manicure, but Lulu tells Laura they need to discuss her upcoming date with Kevin; Laura insists it’s no big deal, just lunch – nice and simple. Lulu fills Laura in on Claudette, telling her that she is running from Valentene; she says coincidence after coincidence keeps bringing the Cassadine’s back into their lives. Laura questions if it’s really coincidence. They wonder if there is a tie between Claudette and the Cassadines, and all the games that Helena has been playing with them.
Claudette goes to tell Griffin that they have to leave town now; Valentene sent someone to find her, she tells him… he knows they are there. Griffin says they should call the police; she says they can’t, she has no proof of anything so they can’t help. She tells him that he needs to decide to come with them now, or say goodbye to his daughter because this will be the last time he sees them. Griffin takes Claudette and Charlotte to meet Anna; he says they need her help, and introduces her to Duke’s granddaughter. She asks what they need. They fill her in on everything; Anna tells Claudette if she stays here in Port Charles, she can use all her resources to keep them safe. Claudette asks them to watch Charlotte while she goes up to her room for a second (but why would she, after seeing it torn up like that?). She tells Charlotte that she loves her, and says not to ever forget that – sounds to me like she’s splitting and leaving Charlotte there.
Claudette is on the phone booking a flight, when Nathan appears behind her; he tells her he can’t find Maxie (she is tied to the chair once again). Claudette says she can’t help him, telling him her room was tossed and she has to leave town. He goes in the room; it is all nice and neat now. Claudette insists housekeeping must have picked up; Nathan finds Maxie’s bracelet on the dresser. The man holding Maxie unhooks the pipe from the gas water heater (or furnace) and tells Maxie she will just fall asleep. No big deal; she begins to panic and scream as he leaves the basement. Sonny tells Carly he wants her to come home; he says, he can’t get through this without her… she says they aren’t grieving in the same way. He says they are the only ones who understand what they are going through; he begs her to come home with him, saying they shouldn’t do this alone. She breaks down and kisses him, but then the doorbell rings; it’s Dante. He tells them he just came from the crash site – they found something.
10-20-2016 (Thursday)
Sonny allows Ava to go up to see Avery for ten minutes, then
tells her he doesn’t want to see her again; of course, she sneaks back into
Morgan’s room, instead. She takes his
pill bottles out of his drawer (to keep the placebo from being discovered), but
drops one; it rolls under the bed. She
tries to reach it, and almost gets it, when she notices Nelle standing in front
of her. Ava is startled; Nelle asks
what she’s looking for, and if she dropped something. Carly comes home; she tells Sonny, even though she left him for
good, she is back – for good. She says
she loves him and is always going to love him, and even though she regrets what
happened, she has realized the only way they are going to get through it is
together; Sonny wakes up. Carly is not
there. Sonny goes upstairs and asks if
there’s a problem; Nelle steps to the door and tells him they are in Morgan’s
room.
Ava ducks down and grabs the pill bottle and shoves it in her purse, quickly standing back up before Sonny comes in the room. He asks what she is doing in there; she claims it was her phone she dropped, avoiding the real question. He asks again; she tells him he knows why she’s in Morgan’s room. He tells her to go see Avery and get out of there; and not to ever pull a stunt like this again. He closes the drawer, which is slightly open, not appearing to even wonder why it was open, then walks over and holds one of Morgan’s trophies.
Claudette takes Griffin to meet Charlotte; she tells Charlotte that this is her real daddy, but Charlotte doesn’t seem to understand. She hugs Nathan; he takes her to another room so that they can talk. Griffin asks how she could have been willing to run off with him and leave their daughter with Nathan – she insists that she thought Charlotte would be safer that way, since Nathan is a cop. Griffin says he supposes he can understand that. They discuss what needs to be done next; Griffin suggests calling Anna. Nathan agrees that’s a good idea, but Claudette doesn’t think so. She thinks she and Griffin should go on the run with Charlotte now, saying she knows how to get back under the radar. Griffin says they don’t have to make any decision right now; Claudette takes Charlotte and leaves. Griffin apologizes to Nathan again; Nathan tells him, they were both duped by Claudette, and he has nothing to be sorry for.
Maxie agrees not to struggle; the man releases his hold on her, and she tries to run away. He grabs her again, and ties her to a chair (in the basement); he demands to know where the child is, and calls her Claudette. Maxie laughs, and tells him she is NOT Claudette. She tells him she hates Claudette and looks nothing like her (though she does, a little); he asks what she is doing breaking into Claudette’s apartment then. She says she is petty… she was going to change out her shampoo and conditioner. The man says, if she knows Claudette, she must also know where the little girl is; he demands she tell him. She agrees to tell him, but says she will only tell him if he takes her to a public place… letting him know that she is connected to the Coronthos organization and her dad is head of the WSB, so it will be better for him if they do this her way. He says he doesn’t care about any of that; he grabs her and tells her that she better tell him what he wants to know.
Michael brings Carly Morgan’s car keys; the bartender gave them to him. She begins to cry again, and questions why Morgan’s medications weren’t working. She calls Andre; he comes over and tells her that Morgan never came in for his last blood test… there is no proof of whether or not his meds were working. Carly insists that something was not right; Andre admits that he found Morgan’s behavior the past few weeks very confusing. Carly recalls all the signs and symptoms she was seeing, but angrily tells Andre she followed the rules instead of following her instincts; she backed off, tried not to hover, tried to let the process work. She tells Andre she wants him out of her house. She cries, saying she know something was wrong and didn’t do anything to help him…Michael hugs her. She grabs Morgan’s picture and says she is sorry she didn’t take better care of him.
Nelle questions Sonny about Ava, after she leaves; he tells her what Ava had done to Morgan – avoiding the story of how he and Ava ended up having a baby. She says it sounds like his hatred for her is dangerous; he agrees, he says his heart is frozen toward her, adding he will hate her for the rest of his life. Ava comes down to leave; they exchange glances. Nelle excuses herself. Ava turns and tells Sonny that she has to say that she really did love Morgan, even though he thought she was bad for him; he says she used him. Ava claims to understand that he blames himself; he gets even more angry and tells her to tell and to never assume that she knows how he feels. She runs out the door, saying to herself, “but I do know.”
Sonny begins dreaming again; Carly is there, helping Ava pack up Avery’s things, saying she will be better off with Ava than with him. He wakes again, with a start; Nelle asks him if he’s okay. He goes up to check on Avery; he goes back into Morgan’s room. He tells him he is so sorry; he wishes it was him in that car, instead. Nelle calls Carly and tells her she is worried about Sonny. Carly says she doesn’t want to hear about it and hangs up. Claudette opens her hotel door to see the room torn apart; Charlotte asks what happened to their room – Claudette grabs her and runs. Ava disposes of Morgan’s pill bottle in a trash can on the docks; somebody, with gloves, walks up right after she leaves and takes the bottle back out of the trash.
10-19-2016 (Wednesday)
Sonny sits on the floor, in
a daze; a little boy runs by, laughing – he laughs and says, “come find me
daddy.” Sonny wakes up with a start;
Nell offers him a glass of water. She
asks if he’s okay; she shares a story of losing a friend to a drunk driver
(feeling responsible because she chose to stay at the party and her friend went
home with someone else, who had been drinking). Sonny appreciates the effort to connect; he shares his ‘dream’
with her and thanks her for being there.
She reminds him that there are a lot of other people that care about him
and says she is sorry for his loss. Griffin
pulls away from Claudette; he tells her he can’t do this. She tells him to quit fighting his feelings;
she asks him to run away with her. He
refuses, saying he is devoted to his calling.
Tracy questions Finn’s sanity; she says even care from the hacks at Mercy Hospital is better than nothing. He tells her he will be fine. Hayden leaves with Evan, having changed her mind about being alone with him after seeing Finn in such bad shape; Finn wonders where she is going with the man. Hayden and Evan go to his hotel room; she asks him for a drink first, when he starts groping her. She insists he join her; he gulps a mini bottle – she barely sips on hers. Tracy makes Finn think about whether he wants to go chasing after Hayden or not; she leaves him to decide. Finn goes a looks at the receipt on the table to get the room number; 602… he listens, and then bursts through the door. He sees Hayden leaning over Even, half undressed on the floor; she says she’s glad he came. She asks Finn to help her get the man on the bed, so he thinks they “did the deed” (so he won’t cancel the check) as she hands the ‘donation’ to Finn. Although Finn is repulsed by the idea, he does help her get him on the bed – and she “sets the stage”, by putting a condom on the unconscious man. Finn questions why she would go to such great lengths for him; Hayden wants him to tell her why he came up there. She asks why it matters to him; then answers the question for him, before passing out in his arms.
Nathan still questions the test; Maxie gets upset that he won’t accept this result, since she knows for a fact it was Charlotte’s DNA. Nathan wonders who’s lock of hair Claudette had given them originally; his mother (Olbrecht) talks to Ava at the bar – that’s probably a hint. Olbrecht is talking about Morgan, and the fact that his treatment obviously wasn’t working properly; Ava has flashbacks again, of switching out his medication. Olbrecht says that the bomb may have taken his life, but it was the improper treatment that killed him. Carly should sue for access to Morgan’s medical records, she says; if they find neglect on the doctor’s part, she adds, Sonny will make sure he pays. Ava gets nervous; she makes a call to someone, telling them where her Will is, “just in case”… she has to go do something, she says, and there’s a chance she may not come out of it alive. She goes to Sonny’s; she tells him she is sorry about Morgan.
Sonny tells Ava he doesn’t want her pity; she offers to take Avery for the time being, which offer Sonny refuses. She then asks where Carly is; Sonny says it’s none of her business. Ava asks if Carly left him; she says he can’t make it through this without her – for Avery’s sake, she says, he needs to hold onto Carly. She begs him to do whatever he can to get her back, adding it’s what Morgan would have wanted.
Griffin questions why she would want to leave her daughter; she says she isn’t safe with her – but she is with her father. Just at that moment, Nathan walks in to the gym; he says, “only I’m not her father, am I?” He suggests Griffin is. Nathan tells Claudette he figured out that the hair was his mother’s (a scene plays, as Claudette’s memory, of taking hair from his mother’s brush); she admits that it’s true, and says she is sorry. She tells Griffin he is Charlotte’s father. Nathan asks Claudette why… why make him think the girl was his. She says she wanted him to protect Charlotte, she thought it was best; she insists she is sorry, then asks Griffin if he wants to go meet his child. Maxie calls Olbrecht to come baby-sit, telling her that Nathan had to go somewhere, and now she does to. She tells her not to get too attached to that darling little girl, and let’s her know that she is not Nathan’s daughter – Claudette lied, again. Olbrecht says she will make Claudette regret the day she was born; Maxie says that sounds great, but she needs her to wait, with Charlotte, until she gets back. Maxie does to Claudette’s hotel room, and lets herself in; unfortunately, somebody else is there. A man, dressed in leather, grabs her.
10-18-2016 (Tuesday)
Claudette comes to visit
with Charlotte, just as Nathan and Maxie are getting ready to get intimate; he
has a nice, romantic dinner cooking for Maxie.
Claudette tells them that she has been thinking they need to get to know
Charlotte; she asks Nathan how he would like to watch their daughter
tonight. Feeling forced into it, Maxie
and Nathan agree. The smoke alarm goes
off; Nathan’s dinner is burning. Maxie
seems a little miffed about the “accidental babysitting” that interrupted
‘dinner’; Nathan is a little miffed when he sees an envelope from the DNA
Testing Center.
Anna is angrily working out with Griffin; he tells her she needs to pull it back a bit. She tells him that she is upset because she didn’t do enough to keep Julian off the streets; she tells Griffin that Morgan is dead, caught in a hit meant for Julian. She feels responsible. She goes on to tell him that she has just made mistake, after mistake; he tells her there is plenty of blame to go around. He gets up and starts punching the bag, bare-fisted. Tracy talks to Finn about the possibility of purchasing General Hospital herself; Finn is coughing. Tracy asks how he is; Hayden appears and says she was wondering the same thing.
Tracy agrees to give them a minute; Finn tells Hayden his ‘breakthrough’ was a bust – the trial was failure. She questions where he is working now that the hospital lab is closed; he says his hotel room is the closest thing he has to a lab right now. She tells him running clinical trials on himself is risky; he tells her he has no other choice. She asks him to be careful, just as a young man named Evan comes in to have a drink with her; he seems like a rich douche, and Finn seems to agree. Hayden is trying to get a medical funding grant for Finn; the ass says he will talk to his father about it, but he want's Hayden to sleep with him in return. Hayden throws a cup of water in his face. Tracy fills Finn in on the board’s decision to sell the hospital for a condo conversion; then tells him they will find another way. Anna meets Andre at the bar; she tells him that she has a job offer, in Jeniva. He asks if she is considering taking it. Anna confesses that she doesn’t really feel like she has a real purpose, here, anymore – but she doesn’t really want a life somewhere else that isn’t really hers. He asks her why there isn’t a third option; he says the Anna he knows was resourceful enough to come up with something else. Anna calls the bureau and tells them that she will come back to work for them, but not in that position – she has something else in mind.
Claudette finds Griffin still at the gym; she tells him that she is planning on leaving Charlotte with Nathan. She says she will be safe that way; she touches his chest, and tells him that she knows she is not a good person – she was only good when she was with him. He says he can’t save her soul; he’s not sure he can save anyone anymore. She says, “then let me save yours” and they kiss. Okay. Franco tells Elizabeth that he may have a way to make sure that GH reopens so she won’t have to move away. Liz admits that this makes her a little nervous; Franco assures her she doesn’t need to be nervous – but he says he has to go do something. He tells her to wait at the table where they are having drinks (at the Metro Court); she says she will meet him at Kelly’s in a little while, instead. Liz runs into Laura on the way, and asks how Spencer is doing; Laura says he is doing well (better than her). Liz then asks how Dante and Lulu and dealing with Morgan’s death; Laura says they are having a hard time with it. Laura tells Elizabeth that she has decided to sell Wyndemere; then they talk about Hayden.
Franco goes to see his mother again; he accuses her of having something to do with the murder attempts on Bobbi and Lucas. After some denial, she finally caves and admits that she tried to inject Bobbi, but then Lucas came in and she injected him instead. She tells him that she cannot come clean, though…not for Elizabeth. He leaves. Laura asks Liz about Franco, and she confesses her feelings. Just as Franco rounds the corner, Laura asks Elizabeth if she is actually ‘in love’ with him; before she answers, Laura’s phone goes off. He says he has the answer and shows her a recording on his phone; his mother’s confession. Nathan crumples the envelope up and throws it, telling Maxie it was not right of her to do a test without telling him; he says he doesn’t want to know this way – he will do a test in his own time. Maxie picks up the envelope, saying she is not going to let it go; she opens it. This test says Nathan is NOT Charlotte’s father.

10-17-2016 (Monday)
Julian says he is surprised
Sonny let him come to the door; Sonny says he’s never afraid to meet his enemy
face-to-face. Julian confronts him
about the bomb being meant for him; Sonny shakes his head. He gets mad at the accusation. He tells Julian that he caused this. Julian tells him if he keeps coming after
him, he will do the same, implying that he would go after Carly next
perhaps. Nelle watches from above, with
her hand over her mouth.
Jason comes to see Carly…he asks her why she isn’t at home, with her husband; he reminds her that they both lost their son. She calls to check on Avery; Nelle tells her she is fine and everything is quiet there – even though Sonny and Julian are yelling downstairs. Jason tells Carly only the two of them, she and Sonny, know what it’s like and they need each other. He can’t help her move forward, he says, but Sonny can. Jason said all Sonny ever wanted was to keep them all safe; but he didn’t keep Morgan safe, Carly screams. She says she should have learned her lesson when Michael spent a year in a comma; and now Morgan’s dead. Jason comforts her.
TJ and Curtis have lunch and talk; Curtis is fishing for information about the case and finds out that they are investigating Sonny as a suspect. Curtis apologizes for being busy and says they need to make plans to get together; TJ agrees. Julian suggests that they leave well enough alone now; he won’t retaliate if Sonny won’t. Sonny grows tired of the conversation with Julian and tells him to get out of his house before he balances the scales; he throws the fruit basket. Nelle asks if he’s okay; he apologizes, saying he forgot she was here. She offers to stay, for Avery; she has a fold-out bed set up in her room. She tells him to go get some rest; he thanks her.
Tracy sees Lucy at the Metro Court diner, and calls her a traitor; Lucy defends her position. She tells Tracy if she really wants to save the hospital, she should buy the hospital herself. Tracy appears to consider the suggestion; however, Paul has an alibi for the attacks on Bobbi and Lucas, she says, so the hospital still can’t open until those cases are closed. Elizabeth brings Franco some food; repayment for him taking care of her. She tells him she needs to get back to work and she’s thinking she may have to move to find employment, since General Hospital is closed. They decide to go to dinner, and run into Tracy; she doesn’t give them much hope for a quick re-opening of the hospital, even if she can save it. Franco comes up with a possible solution. He says, he might know someone who might know something about what really happened?
Jason comes to see Carly…he asks her why she isn’t at home, with her husband; he reminds her that they both lost their son. 10-14-2016 (Friday)
Michael comes home to find his mom
packing; she tells him she just can’t stay in the house another night… she has
to get away from there. Sonny is standing there
when she comes down the stairs. He asks
if she was just going to walk out without saying a word; he asks how she can
leave now – she asks how she can ‘not’.
She says they are the consequence of his actions. He looks broken. He tells her he called off the hit; he had changed his mind,
because of her. She screams, “it was
too late!” Sonny tries to comfort her,
but she pushes him away. She leaves. Nelle gets her bags.
Michael walks with his sisters through the park, as they wait for their mother to catch up; he asks Jos to go push Avery on the swings. Kristina asks what his mother is doing to her father now… she asks how she can blame him for Morgan’s death. Joslyn comes back to hear the conversation, asking why Uncle Sonny would be blamed for it. Nelle asks if Michael would like her to take Avery back to his dad; she says it would be good for him to spend some time with her. Michael agrees. Joslyn demands an answer; Kristina tries to explain, but only upsets Jos. Joslyn tells Michael to tell her the truth; she wants to know what happened to Morgan and who put the bomb there. Michael says he doesn’t know for sure, but it could have been him. He hugs his sister, as she sobs. When she sees her mother, she tells her she understands why her dad has always hated Uncle Sonny and now she does too.
Scotty meets Julian at Crimson and warns him
that Sonny is probably looking for a pound of flesh more than ever before,
because he is going to blame him for Morgan’s death. He says he may have a way out; Scotty suggests trying to put
Sonny in prison for trying to have Julian killed. Maxie apologizes to Nathan for her actions in front of his
daughter; she offers a solution to smoothing things over with Claudette. Claudette sits in the park with her
daughter, telling her how much she loves her; and that one day her father will
love her too, just as much as she does.
Nathan calls her to bring Charlotte back; Maxie apologies to her. Claudette tells her it was a beautiful
apology but she doesn’t believe a word of it.
Maxie offers Charlotte a bottle of juice; as soon as Claudette leaves,
she calls to order another DNA test.
Nina
gets upset with Curtis when he tells her that he cannot help her find a baby on
the black market; he says it is just too dangerous for everybody involved. She leaves the office in a huff. Julian tells Curtis he wants to hire him to
investigate who planted the bomb on his car, if he’s not afraid of Sonny
Corinthos. He makes him an offer he
can’t refuse. Curtis says he will do
some digging and see what turns up. He
sees Nina again; she tells him she isn’t mad and she respects his position,
thanking him for all the work he did.
Julian shows up on Sonny’s doorstep, with the fruit basket from Crimson.
10-13-2016 (Thursday)
Michael listens to his
mother’s message on Morgan’s phone; then he hears Kiki’s messages, pleading for
Morgan to reach out to her. She says
it’s important; they needed to talk. He
looks at family photos; Jason shows up to see him. Michael starts blaming himself, for not being there to protect
Morgan like a big brother should have when he knew he was in trouble. He should have made sure he was on top of
his meds, seeing his therapist – instead he was wrapped up in his own
life. Jason insists that there was
nothing anyone could have done about this; Morgan was a victim of terrible circumstances. He was there and he couldn’t stop it; he
tells Michael to stop blaming himself.
He reminds him of how many times he was there for him.
Jordan and Nathan look for evidence as to who planted the bomb. Dante shows up for work; they question if he’s sure he wants to be there. TJ shows up; Jordan hugs him. Dante and Nathan talk; Dante says this doesn’t feel real… his little brother, he should have been there for him. Then he frets about not being to get through to his father; he feels like a failure as a cop and a brother. TJ and Jordan talk; she apologizes for not being there for him when he was younger, and he tells her he understands. Then he starts talking about Morgan, and how he tried to stop him, to stall him; he thought he was getting through to him, and then Morgan sucker-punched him.
Lulu goes to see Maxie; Maxie is so busy talking about her wedding and the magazine that she doesn’t notice the look of despair on Lulu’s face. Then she does; Lulu tells her Morgan is dead. Maxie hugs her, saying she is so sorry. She asks how Dante is, and Lulu tells her, like he should have stopped it; she tells her it was a bomb, not meant for Morgan. Lulu asks about Charlotte – Maxie admits she is hoping the girl is not Nathan’s. Nina and Dillon talk at work; he tells her that Kiki was going to break up with Morgan last night to be with him.
Kiki breaks down as she talks to Franco, telling him she felt like a horrible person because she was getting ready to break up with him; walking away from someone she loved when they needed her most. Even worse, she says, that she was breaking up with him to be will Dillon. She tells Franco she was unfaithful, kissing Dillon…it was disloyal. She says it’s her fault Morgan got drunk and stole the car. Franco tries to explain the physiological problems with people like Morgan and people like him; Kiki tells him she knows he is trying to help but she can’t do this right now. She leaves. As she curls up on her couch, sobbing, Dillon comes to the door; she ignores him at first, but then answers it. Michael overhears her telling Dillon about the voicemail she left for Morgan when she was getting ready to break up with him. Michael gets pissed, and begins to berate Kiki, accusing her of being the one who put him in that car and killed him. Dillon tries to intervene; they push each other. Kiki says it’s all true; she is never going to forgive herself for this. She tells Dillon she cannot look at him anymore. She tells Michael she is so sorry; he says he’s sorry too.
Claudette brings Charlotte to meet her father; Dante tells Nathan to go spend the day with her. He tells Charlotte he wants her to meet Maxie; Claudette looks irritated. They arrive at Maxie’s; she is surprised to see Charlotte, but she is very sweet to her. She tells Nathan, though, that doesn’t think there’s anyway that’s his daughter.
Jordan and Nathan look for evidence as to who planted the bomb. Dante shows up for work; they question if he’s sure he wants to be there. TJ shows up; Jordan hugs him. 10-12-2016 (Wednesday)
Carly wakes up, forgetting that
Morgan is dead; she is confused as to why her mother is there. Bobbi reminds her that Morgan is gone – she
says it was just a dream, a nightmare that Sonny told her their son was dead. But then she goes downstairs and finds Sonny’s
jacket, covered in mud; she recalls his entrance and the look on his face, says
she could hear the things that he was saying, but felt it couldn’t be
happening; she says, “he can’t be dead, right Mom?” Bobbi hugs her.
Tracy is
on the phone with another member of the board, arguing about the potential sale
of the hospital; she gets told that security will be called, if she tries to
come there. She tells Monica that an
investor wants to turn the hospital building into luxury condos; Monica tells
her to wait while she changes her clothes.
They are going down there. Lulu
greets Laura upon her arrival back in Port Charles; they talk, at the Floating
Rib. Lulu asks her mother if she
doesn’t think she can ever trust Kevin again; she is afraid that once she
trusts someone again, they will prove her wrong, because that’s how it’s always
been. Olivia joins them, just as Dante
calls to let Lulu know he is done working for the night; she leaves. Ned shows up to talk to Olivia; Laura excuses
herself. Ned asks why they are still
hiding their relationship, since Julian now knows; Olivia tells him that if
they tell everyone, then it becomes real (and if it’s real, she can screw it
up). He gets her to agree to go to a
movie in public and she kisses him right there in the dining room.
Dante tells
Michael that their brother is dead; Michael questions how this could have
happened. Dante explains that the
bartender took Morgan’s keys, so Morgan stole a car – it happened to be Julian
Jerome’s. Michael immediately says no
one hated Julian more than dad; Sonny walks in. Michael begs his father to tell him he is not the reason that
Morgan is dead; Sonny says he doesn’t know how this happened. Michael insists he must have given the
order; he asks Sonny if vengeance was worth Morgan’s life. Jason pulls Michael out of the room.
Dillon comes to see Kiki; she tells him she hasn’t
been able to get a hold of Morgan to break things off – he won’t answer her
texts. Dillon goes on to work; Ava
shows up to talk to Kiki. She tells
Kiki there was an accident late last night involving Morgan; Kiki gets up,
ready to go to the hospital. Ava tells
her there is no where to go… Morgan is gone.
She asks how. Ava explains; she
says he was upset after he thought he saw her and Dillon together, being
intimate. Distraught, Kiki tells her
mother she has to go. Michael comes
home to the mansion before Monica and Tracy leave. Tracy starts mouthing off about Sonny, Jason asks her to stop and
she starts in on him. Monica tells her
to lighten up; they leave Michael and Jason to talk. Michael blames himself for not being able to help Morgan, but
says the person responsible for planting that bomb killed Morgan. Jason says it might not have been his dad;
Michael asks if he really believes that.
Kiki shows up at Crimson; she is obviously shaken… she falls into his
arms, sobbing. He tells her, whatever
she needs, he is there for her; she becomes upset and says they can’t do
this. She says, they are the reason
Morgan was drinking, because he saw them together. Dillon says they didn’t do anything wrong; she says, she
shouldn’t be there. She runs to the
elevator in tears. Dante now explains
to Carly the details of Morgan’s demise; he describes the reason Morgan ended
up behind the wheel of Julian’s car, and that it was a bomb that caused the
explosion. She asks if Sonny had
anything to do with that bomb… Dante says he can’t answer that. She cries; “I begged Sonny not to do
anything.” Dante tells Carly not to say
anything that he might have to repeat in an official capacity somewhere down
the road; he leaves her with Morgan’s phone, still bagged as evidence.
She sits down, plugs it in and listens to
the last message she left for Morgan, telling him how much she loved him. Dante goes back to the station to wait for
Lulu; he angrily hits the wall in the interrogation room. When Lulu arrives and asks what’s wrong, he
tells her that his brother is dead and he might have to arrest his father for
killing him. She hugs him. Sonny comes
home. Carly tells him that she knows he
just couldn’t go without getting revenge on Julian, and now their boy is dead; “you
killed him,” she screams, as she smashes a family picture to the floor. Sonny starts crying.
10-11-2016 (Tuesday)
The search continues for
Morgan; so far, there is so sign of him.
Jason goes to Sonny’s to give him the bad news; they return to the crash
site, and Sonny becomes frantic. The
police have to hold him back. He breaks
loose and heads for the water; Dante and Jason discuss the possibility that
Sonny planted the bomb that caused the explosion. Sonny is pulled from the water and handcuffed to a car; then Dante
gets news of discovered remains below.
Morgan appears to be dead.
Julian tells Ava that someone tried to kill him; he explains the theft, the explosion, etc., and the fact that he is sure Sonny is behind it. Dante is sure that Sonny ordered Julian’s murder, to end the war; and the casualty was his little brother. Then he tells her that the driver of the car was Morgan; she says it can’t be… it doesn’t make sense. She asks if they found his body; Julian says he doesn’t think so, but the bomb was meant to obliterate the car, meant to incinerate him, he tells her. There wasn’t anything left to be found. Now Ava feels responsible; she recollects her switching out his pills. Julian says it was Morgan’s own fault, for mixing his psych meds with alcohol; Ava says, no… and tells Julian it was her fault. He asks how; she says, she knew what was going on with him. He tells her that doesn’t make it her fault; he says, it was him or Morgan and he’s glad it wasn’t him. He walks away and leaves her crying. She looks sincerely sad. She drops her glass; it falls to the floor and breaks. She remembers the first time she and Morgan kissed; and their first Christmas together, then dumping the placebo pills in his pill bottle… them telling each other they loved each other. She crumbles to the floor, sobbing, “what have I done?”
Franco comes to get food for Elizabeth at the Metro Court, but he doesn’t have the money to pay for it; Nelle doesn’t fall for his lies. Carly comes in and lets Franco take the food, just to get rid of him; he returns to Elizabeth’s where he finds Sam. She brought Jake his Math book for school; an argument erupts when Franco gets too close for Sam’s comfort. Jake comes down and asks why they are fighting. He wants to know why Sam doesn’t like Franco; Franco takes time to explain that, once upon a time, he wasn’t such a nice guy. He admits to hurting people, including Sam, and says she is right not to forgive him. Jake asks if he is sorry; Franco says, every minute of every day.
Carly commends Nelle on the great job she’s doing; complimenting her abilities. Nelle tells her she will take care of the sprinkler problem; she tells Carly to go on home. Sonny is allowed to go home; Jason goes with him. Carly is calling him to see where he is. Sonny gives Carly the bad news; it appears that somebody is watching through the window as Carly falls to her knees.

10-10-2016 (Monday)
Jason heads toward the explosion…he
can’t see Morgan. He goes back to his
truck to call for help. He tells the
firemen that the driver is either trapped in the car or in the river. As the emergency crew searches the area,
Jason describes the events to Dante; he tells him the explosion blew the car
over the cliff, and Morgan was on that side of the car. He may have gone over the cliff. Molly finds TJ, at the diner, with blood all
over his face and cut lip/cheek where Morgan hit him; he tells her what
happened. They overhear Dante come in
to take Julian’s report; they stand up and they discretely tell Dante they know
who might have the car; Morgan.
Kiki
runs into Nelle at Metro Court; Nelle tells her she saw Morgan earlier, but
doesn’t tell her everything that happened; she says he was not in good
shape. She doesn’t know what he’s done;
Kiki says she needs to talk to him.
Nelle offers to listen, but Kiki says she has to talk to him first; she
mentions how hard this is for her. As
she walks to the elevator, Nelle sneers “You think it’s hard on you,
Princess…it’s harder on him.”
Dillon
tells Tracy that he and Kiki have decided to be together; she assures Dillon
that she will be happy for him, no matter what. Julian berates his driver for leaving the keys in the car; and
fires him, he looks at his phone and sees the GPS tracker location. Carly likes Sonny’s new attitude; although
she is having a hard time believing that he is just going to let things
go. He assures her everything will be
alright. He tells her what he
experienced at the church and how he feels now; she is happy to hear it; they
kiss and decide to go home together.
They go upstairs to make love. A
nice love scene ensues.
Finn and Hayden
tell Tracy what they heard about the hospital being sold, a man named Grey,
etc.; Tracy vows to stop it. Finn and
Hayden talk about his work in the lab; he says he’s making progress, maybe a
breakthrough.
10-07-2016 (Friday)
Alexis sits drinking; her
girls show up at the door. Sam asks her
point blank if she’s been drinking. She
tells her it was Anna DeVane’s wine glass; apology accepted. Alexis admits to her daughters that she did not get the
contracting job; they assure her she will find something. Alexis suggests she expand her horizons by
writing a novel possibly; Sam tells her she may have the solution. She offers her a consulting position with
her investigation service; Alexis thanks her, and accepts but, after assuring
Molly that the ‘words’ being spewed about her and spread all over the internet
are only going to make her stronger; she tells her girls to go have fun. As soon as she gets them out the door, she
drinks her glass of wine.
Sonny gets annoyed by Griffin’s assessment of him; and assures him that none of his children will pay for his sins because he protects them from that. He tells Griffin God only helps those who help themselves, which only makes Griffin angrier and he states that is not a scripture. He admits to terrible sins, wishing someone had reached out to him – tells Sonny he has the chance to avoid regret and recrimination by not doing anything to Julian. He tells Sonny what he is contemplating is a mortal sin and he knows it. Sonny argues from his perspective; Julian is a killer, who stabbed somebody and put a knife to his wife’s throat. Besides, Sonny thinks, he is way past the point of redemption. Griffin pleads with him to change his mind, for the sake of everyone who loves him. Sonny calls to “cancel the job” but it might be too late.
Ava tries to talk to Morgan; he is already getting drunk and even more angry. He tells her she won; he found Kiki and Dillon “going at it” he says (not true, but…) after Dillon apologizes for kissing Kiki, she tells him she kissed him back; he says he took advantage, but she says he did not. He thanks her for consoling him; she says the kiss was about more than his pain… it’s about the way they feel for each other. He looks shocked and asks what about Morgan? She tells Dillon that she has realized Morgan may not be the one for her.
When Morgan tries to leave the bar, the bartender takes his keys. Morgan leaves the bar on foot, then sees a car with a button ignition, with windows down. He reaches for the door, but TJ stops him; he tells him he can’t let him go anywhere in that car. Morgan tricks him into turning around, pushes him and gets in the car; Jason finds TJ on the ground. TJ tells Jason that Morgan just stole that car. When Sonny gets home, Carly notices a change in him; he tells her that he believes for the first time in a long time, that things are going to be alright again. Kiki is somewhat devastated when she realizes Dillon is the one for her; she says she has to tell Morgan what is in her heart, and leaves in tears to find him. As Morgan speeds down the road, Jason catches up to him in his SUV and calls him; Morgan puts the phone on speaker. Jason does his best to talk him down and asks him to pull over to talk to him. He does; however, the car Morgan stole apparently belongs to Julian, and when Morgan steps out of it, something explodes.
Wow... that means Morgan will be injured (or possibly dead) at Sonny's own order, because this would have been the "job" he was trying to cancel. OMG

10-06-2016 (Thursday)
The shadows in the window,
kissing, now drop to the floor; Morgan hears a female groan… he grabs an ice
hook off of a tool rack and thrusts it into the door of the shed where he
believes Kiki and Dillon are about to make love; he goes back to the floating
rib, where he tells Nelle he just found out his girlfriend is cheating on him. It turns out to be Olivia and Ned; they are
out of breath and discuss how good they are together. They kiss some more; they have sex again. Olivia gets up to make sure the door is locked
(after all this time) and finds it unlocked; when she opens it, she finds the
ice hook. She thinks somebody is
sending them a message; she says this is Julian’s way of threatening them. Ned determines that he is going to talk to
Julian right now; Julian is unimpressed.
He denies any knowledge of the hook, says he really could care less that
they are seeing each other, but tells them if they try to keep his son from him
they will have to worry.
Morgan pulls out his pills, and orders a glass of water then tells Nelle he is tired of taking them because they are not working anyway; he says he can’t drink so he can’t be “normal” – Nelle lifts her glass and offers a toast, saying she can’t drink either; she asks him if he thinks she’s not normal. He tries to kiss her, to which she objects promptly and sets him straight that it was not an invitation to kiss her. Anna has lunch with Griffin; they talk about Emma (Anna Skyped with her this morning). Griffin finds it sad that a little girl like that has to know such evil exists; he then mentions how he can’t believe Julian went free.
Griffin says, he tries to tell himself it’s all part of God’s plan, but it’s not helping; in fact, he admits, he feels hatred and he does not like the feeling but he can’t get rid of it. It’s not very Christian, he adds; Anna touches his hand and tells him, no, but it’s human. Morgan keeps postponing the taking of his pills, while Kiki is at Dillons, helping him go through photos for the magazine. Kiki tells Dillon he’s not alone; she knows what it’s like to know that your parent has done some horrible, horrific thing… but they are not responsible for it. He says it helps knowing at least she understands. They reminisce about the night of the Nurses Ball; their first kiss. They end up kissing again. Morgan throws his pills in the garbage once more and orders his regular (alcoholic) drink at the bar.
Julian walks into Alexis’ house, uninvited; she screams and grabs the phone, saying she is going to call the cops. Julian says she doesn’t need to… he just came to get his last box. I guess she allows him to, because he is about to walk out the door when Anna arrives; she tells him it’s a surprise to see him there, of all places. He says they are both free; she says that’s just a matter of time. People are going to figure out all of his lies and he will eventually pay. He excuses himself promptly; Anna asks to talk to Alexis. Alexis tells her she is tired, she can’t talk long; Anna questions her behavior on the witness stand (and notes that she has been drinking at this time as well); Alexis breaks down and admits that it is all her fault that Julian is out there running around right now. Anna agrees. She tells Alexis she cannot let him in here again; reminds her it’s a violation of the restraining order, to which she is a witness.
Sonny goes to the church, to speak with God… the priest welcomes him, asking if he’s there for confession. Sonny says no thanks; he just wants to be alone; he proceeds to talk about having to do something about Julian and knowing God understands why. Sonny hears someone else at the door; it’s Grffin. He asks if he was listening…for a second, Griffin replies – sounds like they are both there for the same reason; he came to pray for guidance, he says and for humility. Sonny asks why. Griffin says, if he can accept the fact that he may not ever have all the answers, he calls it Grace. He asks what Sonny wants God to do.
Sonny says he doesn't want anything from God. He says he knows God doesn’t approve of what he does, but He sees his heart and knows his intention. He adds that he only does it for good, where Julian hurt good people. Griffin tells Sonny he is with him on this one; he also wants vengeance, but he asks Sonny what gives him the right to be the one to deliver it. Sonny explains that he lives in a world, where someone can come after you, or people you love, ..and well, you have to protect them. He tells Griffin that God doesn’t really deliver; He just talks a really good game. Griffin sits quietly for a while, but then gets angry and makes the suggestion that maybe Sonny doesn’t believe in God at all. Sonny sits, stone faced.

10-05-2016 (Wednesday)
Sorry, all... I know that I am far behind, but I'll catch back up - bare with me.
Andre comes in to pick up ribs ‘to go’ and finds Morgan sitting at the bar; he warns him again about mixing alcohol with his medication. Morgan tells him, he is not drinking; the bottles next to him belong to the last guy, he is waiting for his food. Andre apologizes, confirms their appointment for tomorrow, picks up his order and leaves. Morgan orders another beer; Darby comes in. Morgan tells her it’s her fault he got expelled because she told him to buy that paper online; she tells him he should have run it through the plagiarism filter before turning it in. Darby actually tells Morgan that she admires Kiki for hanging in there with him; she says he needs to pull it together and do right by Kiki while he still can.
Paul tells Jordan that he is going to be pleading guilty; no conditions. Ava thanks Paul for not turning her in, after Jordan leaves to process his new paperwork. He tells her he didn’t do it just for her; he needs an ally on the outside. He is keeping the flashdrive as an assurance of her loyalty; he tells her to be there for her girls right now. She tells him that is good advice and leaves. Michael is headed to the police station, where he almost reaches for a deputy’s gun, as Sonny grabs his arm and stops him; they talk. Sonny leaves, and Michael still goes in to talk to Paul. Tells him he could kill him, but he’s not going to throw his life away. He asks why he killed Sabrina… Paul says it’s hard to explain. He owes it to Sabrina’s son to give him an answer for the boy; Paul says to tell Teddy his mother died a hero. Michael asks for details and Paul recounts the murder and events leading up to it; Michael says she must have fought with all her might. Tracy comes in after Michael, and tells Paul he better not ever try to contact Dillon again; she leaves him with “I’ll be watching you.”
Dante stops by Sonny’s but Sonny is not there; he tells Carly that he has to stop Sonny from retaliating against Julian. She swears she knows nothing about it. Sonny comes home and insists to Dante that he has nothing (illegal) going on; Dane does not believe him. He tells him, if it ever comes down to a choice between saving his son and taking Sonny down, he will take Sonny down. Carly chews Dante out for accusing his father of doing illegal things; and then tells Sonny he better not have anything to do with Julian’s would-be murder. He swears he is not pulling the trigger on Julian. (That literal truth again, rather than complete honesty.) Carly and Dante both roll their eyes at each other, knowing what he means.
Kiki goes to see Dillon in the shed, where he’s been looking for an old fishing rod that Paul had given him; she walks right to the closet where the rod is, and asks, “this one?” Holding the rod, he discusses his childhood and the lack of his father in it – then about his father’s reappearance in his life and how disappointing it’s been. He breaks the rod and cuts his hand; it starts bleeding. She bandages it for him. Jordan tells Andre that she is resigning; she is tired of being the Police Commissioner. When Ned comes to talk to Tracy, he tells her that they need to kill Paul. She laughs at the idea and changes the subject; Ned tells her she has to face what Paul did to her or she won’t have any peace in her life. Ava comes to see Kiki at work and is told that she left early, to go see Dillon Quartermaine, because of the news about his father being the killer. Morgan shows up. Ava, acting all innocent, lets it slip that Kiki went to comfort Dillon. Morgan arrives at the Quartermaine mansion to see two shadow figures in the window, kissing.

10-04-2016 (Tuesday)
Carly confronts Sonny as
soon as he walks in the door; she asks him if was lying to her by
omission. He repeats his promise that if
anything happened to Julian, it would not by his hands; she tells him there is
a difference between speaking the literal truth and being honest. Morgan comes home, looking angry; obviously,
he lost big at the poker game again.
Carly asks why he smells like smoke; his answer is abrupt, “because guys
smoke” as he insists, at the same time that he, himself, didn’t smoke. He goes to take a shower; he comes down with
an entirely different attitude, perceptibly off his meds. Carly and Sonny confront him; he gets
extremely angry that they don’t believe he’s been taking them, when he has and
he leaves. Carly is worried; Sonny says
they need to give him some time to himself.
Carly calls Morgan’s doctor, who can’t tell her much because of
doctor-patient confidentiality; but he assures her Morgan has been making all
of his appointments. They discuss how
this is even harder for him than it was for Sonny to overcome; Sonny assures
her Morgan will have a happy, healthy life.
Morgan goes to see Kiki; gets pissed that she was on the phone leaving a message for Dillon, and then tells her that got kicked out of school already. He gets pissed at her reaction, even though she remained very calm and was trying to be reassuring; he storms out, saying he doesn’t want her pity. Michael stops by the Metro Court, where Nelle just scored tickets to a concert for Joslyn’s birthday; Michael says Jos will be thrilled. He is obviously distraught; he tells them about Paul being the one who killed Sabrina. They are stunned. He determines that he is going to get justice for Sabrina; Nelle calls Sonny, as Michael leaves.
Ava finds Scotty sitting at the bar, drinking tomato juice; he obviously has a hangover. She is pissed; he was supposed to pick her up this morning to go to the Police Station, to announce his representation of Paul. They make their way to the PD and visit Paul, now behind bars. Scotty tells him he is his new attorney, bragging about getting Julian off; Paul says he doesn’t need him – he already has an attorney. Scotty gets pissy and tells Paul to enjoy the prison cuisine; Ava tells Scott to go wait upstairs for her; Paul tells Ava he knows a bribe when he sees one and asks what she really wants. She tells him she wants the flashdrive that recorded her killing Connie Falconari; he plays with her and she turns to begging, for her girls’ sake. He calls her girls “convenient.” Paul tells Ava that he is almost relieved being behind bars; he deserves to be punished or what he did. He says it’s probably the best thing that could have happened, and might be the same for her too. She begs him not to reveal her secret, but when Jordan comes in to tell him his arraignment has been scheduled; he says there is something he needs to tell the Commissioner.
Claudette accidently meets up with Griffin at the diner – she is there to get their biscuits and gravy; he agrees they are the best and asks her to sit down. He wants to hear about this man she was running from; the whole story. So she tells them how she and Valentene met; and how intimidating he became, and about his threats to kill her and her daughter if she ever left him. She talks about being on the run with her daughter, knowing the whole time that she was Nathan’s child; wishing she was Griffin’s… or so she says. Nina calls Curtis to meet her again; she has a new idea about adopting a baby… she wants to adopt one from another country. She asks Curtis to broker the deal; he refuses – she gets mad and tells him she doesn’t need him, because she is creative. She leaves. She goes to Nathan and Maxie’s apartment, where she catches them just about to head into the bedroom to have sex; Nathan just finished telling Maxie how much he loves her, because she has been so kind and understanding about this whole “Claudette thing.” Nina insists they need to get started on their wedding planning; creative ideas are flowing through her head today.
Curtis goes to the PD to see Jordan, who just got done berating Paul (angry that he was the killer, pretending to help); Curtis gives her a lottery ticket, reminding her of a tradition they had when they were partners; when won had a victory or win, the other bought them a lottery ticket. They discuss their frustration with Paul being the killer and right under their noses the whole time…she tells him he did some good police work; he asks if she might him back on the force. She reminds him what got him fired; he blew a case when they were on surveillance, and she turned him in. He had hoped that she would regret that decision, but she tells him she doesn’t. She tries to explain that she turned him in for his own good. Maxie and Nathan fill Nina in on the Charlotte news; she seems stunned that Nathan has a child. Then when the discussion of where this child might live comes up (and Maxie isn’t so keen on the thought of the girl coming to live with her and Nathan); Nina offers another solution. She says, “I’ll take her.”
