suggests Chase take Finn for a walk because “he’s hovering.” She asks Griffin how bad the damage to her
eyes is; he says he can’t say yet… the surgery went well though, he says. They stopped the hemorrhaging. Griffin tells her she is a force of nature;
he also says she is lucky to have someone fussing over her. She realizes he is thinking of Kiki and
apologizes. Aiden needs to take cookies
to school; Franco offers to help him make them. They put on their aprons and get to work; they taste test the
chocolate chips, of course… Franco is highly impressed with Aiden’s knowledge
about baking. He tells Franco that he
has learned a lot from reading books in the library; Franco asks why he hasn’t
told them he liked baking so much. He
says he didn’t want to be left out again.
Joslyn is surprised to see Cameron in the hospital chapel; she sees his book and asks if he is on drugs. Cam is devastated; he hugs Jos and tells her he will always be her friend… he hugs her. Michael asks Monica if she wants to spend a day together; she says she needs to stay with Oscar right now. He tells her you can’t help anyone else unless you take care of yourself; she laughs, that is something Gail always used to tell her. Oscar tells Alexis that he wants to finish up his Will and make sure everything is taken care of; she hugs him. He tells her he has a very important meeting to attend to. Oscar meets his mom and his doctor; he has some serious questions to ask. He asks what it will be like when he dying. She tells him the pain will get worse and he may have trouble maintaining his balance; she says symptoms differ though, so she can’t give him a definite answer. Kim asks what the longest period of time is that a patient has survived with this condition; she says 6-8 months… the shortest, 6 weeks. Kim hugs Oscar; he drops his water bottle.
Willow comes into Charlie’s and tells Julian that it wasn’t her decision; one of her student’s parents asked to meet her there. He asks if she has thought it might be easier if she lived somewhere else; she says moving out of state won’t make her forget about her son. Elizabeth comes in; she thanks her for meeting with her… Willow says it’s important to her that all kids be happy. She asks if there is something about Aiden that makes him a target; she says he avoids the other kids, goes to the library during recess. Liz is highly impressed when she comes home and sees the cookies Aiden created; Franco tells her their son is quite a prodigy in the kitchen. Liz wonders how she missed it; Franco says maybe they should stop worrying about him fitting in and just let Aiden be Aiden. Cam comes home and tastes them; he tells Aiden they are really good. Aiden smiles.
It is time to take off Anna’s bandages; Finn tells his brother that Anna’s vision has been restored. She asks Finn if he has any idea what caused this at all; he says no he doesn’t. Kim comes to Charlie’s; she tells him she wants to stay in the moment and enjoy what they have while it is. Oscar and Jos try to decide what they want to do first; he tells her he is going to let the end of his life begin.
