Griffin writes a letter to Jordan, to be sent anonymously;
Anna walks in and says, “you’ve been keeping secrets.” She tells Griffin that she
found out he has “moved up to artier digs.”
He says the earthquake destroyed his apartment and he is really just a
guest at this point. When she brings up
Jason, Griffin asks if she is going to be willing to stand aside and let him
kill Heinrik. He tells her that Jason’s
goals are different than hers and asks if she doesn’t have someone else she
trusts; she recalls a moment with Finn.
She says no one she would risk getting hurt.
Lulu asks Peter for help,
with Maxie; atoning for her sins. She
tells Peter that Maxie wouldn’t even make eye contact with her last night at
the gathering. He says he shares some
responsibility for encouraging her to write the article; he says he will do
what he can. Lulu asks if he could
possibly get her an advanced copy of the book, The Severed Branch; Peter asks
what she’s going to do with it, and she says “expose Heinrik Faison.” He, surprisingly, hands her the book he
received today; he reminds her that “no one gets to chose their parents” and
asks what if Sinclair is only guilty of being Faison’s son. Lulu says, then, that is the story she will
write; she takes the book and leaves.
Alexis tells Finn she wants him to put an
end to their fake relationship; although admitting that she blurted it out
because she wanted Julian to believe she was over him, she says she doesn’t
want him to find out she lied to cover up her “big feelings for him.” Finn suggests they “get serious”
instead. They agree they don’t mind
each other’s company and “it wouldn’t be horrible.” He says he is available nights and most weekends, now that he
isn’t bringing down drug dealers with Anna.
He happens to bump into Anna on his way out the door, and acts extremely
awkward; she smiles and nods. Alexis
asks Anna if it’s okay for her and Finn to be ‘dating’ (with a dislike for the
word); she asks “is he free?” Anna says
she doesn’t own him and tells Alexis to “go for it.” Finn gets three tickets
after stopping to help an old lady take in groceries; when he realizes who they
are from, he gets angry and goes to the police department, asking for officer
#whatever. He tears the tickets up in
front of the officer, who says that won’t make them go away; Finn says this is
harassment. They guy says he just wants
to get to know his “big brother” – Finn wants nothing to do with him
though. He protests, “we have the same
father” but Finn says he was grown and gone before this guy ever came into the
picture and he sees no reason to get to know him now. He leaves the man standing there and gets in the
elevator.
Spenelli is preparing for his impersonation of Hienrik; he thinks
somehow this will also help Jason and Sam get back together. Jason tells Spenelli that Sam and Drew
already broke up; Sam goes to tell Drew goodbye. He tells her it’s okay to take Scout. Jason explains that Sam needs some time by herself; Spenelli
leaves for his flight, saying his “contingency plan couldn’t be in better
hands.”
Nina runs into Maxie; she asks if she missed the appointment… she
questions how she could have missed putting it in her calendar. Maxie says she didn’t tell her about it and
walks away; Nina assumes it slipped Maxie’s mind to tell her, but Maxie asks
what if it didn’t. Nina doesn’t
understand. Maxie tells her she just
reminds her too much of Nathan being around all the time; she says she doesn’t
want her to leave her alone, just that maybe they spend a little less time
together. She says it’s important for
her to spend time with people who aren’t quite so connected to Nathan.
She thinks Nina took it okay; Meanwhile, Nina
is kicking the wall by the elevator, and Griffin has to stop her. He checks her foot for fractures, then goes
to see Peter; he overhears Maxie talking to Peter. She says she doesn’t see why their friendship will be a
problem. He steps aside as Maxie
leaves; he goes back into the office after her and confronts Heinrik Faison.
I for the life of me I don't understand why the can't pick up from where they leave off. The nanny should be didn't take them home like Carly told her to. She New not to leave him alone with Avery. Why were the two above mentioned things not brought up in the police station?
