Franco tells Jason he did pretty good work; Jason disagrees,
because Franco survived. Ava comes to
visit Kiki and is surprised to find the deadbolt locked. Ava tells Kiki circumstances have changed
and she can come home; Kiki tells her now she doesn’t want to. Rick calls Sony to tell him there has been a
development in Carlos’ case. Carly
comes to Sonny’s office… Alexis tells Julian the minute she picked up the knife
she had the feeling they were about to lose everything. Jordan is questioning the boy claiming to
have knowledge about the murder of Duke Lavery; he changes his mind and tries
to leave – saying he can’t involve anyone in this. He tells her he saw Duke get shot.
Alexis puts the knife away and tells Julian about Molly’s
concerns. Dillon and Nina run into each
other (quite literally), her arms full of shopping bags and boxes. He invites her to stay for a drink. He encourages her to talk to Franco. Franco dares Jason to finish what he
started; Jason lets go of him. But
Franco continues to needle Jason… Jason grabs him by the throat, leaving red
marks on his throat – for real.
Olbrecht asks Franco why he would provoke that man; he answers, “because
no game is any fun without a worthy opponent.”
They talk about being despised by others, about being rejected, wanting
redemption; Franco says he tried to reform himself… but why (his life is not
sunshine and rainbows). He says, no
more - it’s time to be the Franco that he was born to be.
Ava is a little hurt by Kiki’s rejection,
but tells her she loves her, hugs her and leaves. Kiki locks the deadbolt behind her. Rick arrives at Sonny’s office.
He tells Sonny about the new witness.
Alexis gets a call from the court; the judge has made a decision. Jordan asks the boy what he was doing the
night he claims to have seen Duke’s murder; he said he was using (drugs),
breaking into cars at the metro court.
Heard two guys arguing… something about Julian Jerome – one guy in a
tux, the other in street clothes. He
describes a fight for the gun and “Tuxedo” dropping to the ground; he
identifies Carlos’ picture as “street clothes” without hesitation. The boy apologizes for not coming forward
sooner and begs Jordan to believe him; she tells Alexis that Carlos isn’t going
anywhere. Ava stops by to see Julian,
still nervous about the organization – he tells her he is back in charge,
running the organization again. She
tells him he should use his resources then and get rid of Carlos. He tells her he thinks there’s a better
way. Jason tells Sam about the ‘argument’
with Franco; he says he was dangerous before and he thinks he still is. He doesn’t want him anywhere near his son
again.
Franco tells Olbrecht he thinks
he and Nina are done… she tells him he has to keep trying (she believes the two
of them are meant to be). Dillon stops
by and asks Kiki if she knows how to change a flat tire – she suspects he has
another reason for being on that side of town.
He admits he wanted to check on her.
Nina comes home as they walk out to change Dillon’s tire. She asks where Franco is; Kiki says he hasn’t
been home. As Sam and Jason leave the
bar, someone is following them. Julian
orders a hit… on the boy witness.
