Nicolas and Laura prepare for Helena’s will-reading… Sam comes to the door (Hayden confronts her).  Carly tells Jason that he was always a “kind, loyal, fiercely protective and honest” man, even when he worked for Sonny.  Jason, having walked Carly to her car, is still in the vault (good place to think, he said).  Dillon wants to talk to Dr. Monroe again; Monroe has something to tell Ana, but gets called back to the hospital.  Sam insists on speaking to Nicolas; Hayden is not happy.  Asshole Mayes refuses to have Monroe consult on Tracy’s case; Monroe calls him out for his arrogance.  Sam tries to convince Nicolas to move forward with the investigation; he claims it was a mistake in the first place, and tells her to back off once and for all.  Laura and Hayden discuss The Great Gatsby plot; a woman who seduces a man and leaves him to pay for her crimes in the end.  A great love story, huh?  Says she won’t let that happen to her son.

Monica gets a call from home; finds Jason in the crypt and says she’s glad he took the plaque down. Ana meets with Andre and asks what he knows about Dr. Monroe.  She feels like maybe she has met him before.  Tracy is prepared for surgery.  Mayes gets pissed off at Dillon and tells him he needs to pick a doctor (not his place to do).  Dillon tells the doctor to do his job and let him talk to Dr. Monroe, putting him in his place.  Felix shows Michael a picture of Sabrina and tells him she is happy.  Michael asks his dad to keep him in the loop if he finds anything out; Sonny tells him he better let him know if Sabrina contacts him.  Of course, he says.  Jason asks Monica if it would be weird for him to keep the plaque; Monica says not at all, it’s life-affirming.  He recalls something Lila told him… “the heart has a long memory”.  Sam gets a text from Jason to meet him at the Metro Court; she tells him she’s on her way, and calls Spenelli.

Ana says she could never have met Monroe before, but there is something familiar about him; meanwhile, Dr. Monroe is talking with Dillon about his suspicions.  It has something to do with Tracy having been in Mexico recently, but he can’t really say.  Without being able to see Tracy’s test results, Brad tells Dr. Monroe he may be able to help him.  He tells Griffin that he is in charge of the lab there, and you know, sometimes things get disorganized; results get lost for a while – introduces himself and says, Griffin isn’t the first one to have ‘a new hole ripped’ by Mayes.  Jason invites her to come with him to see his new place; she tells him she can’t because she has to go back for the reading of Helena’s will.  Jason leaves his plaque and when Sam goes to grab it she cuts her finger somehow (they made this appear to be a big deal).
