Charlotte comes to apologize to Aiden; she musters up a pretty good
speech and how she really didn’t mean to hurt Aiden. She says she was teaching him, or so she thought. Elizabeth listens as Charlotte swears that
she thought she was helping Aiden to learn to fit in. She promises that she won’t pick on him anymore, but she says she
can’t promise he won’t still get picked on because she isn’t the only one who
thinks he’s weird.
