Michael is disappointed when he sees Willow walk
in on the arm of Harrington Chase; Willow gets noticeably uncomfortable again
when they bump into Julian. Kim tells
Julian she wants him to go to the celebration without her. She is staying at the hospital with Oscar;
He and Jos are getting ready to watch the ball drop on TV. Drew debates on whether or not to call this
Hank guy; he tells Kim he isn’t sure about him. Something just doesn’t feel right. Kim starts regretting not finding Drew sooner, and all the time
he could have had with Oscar, if only.
Drew tells her not to dwell in the past; he apologizes for being poor
company.
Kevin is going back into the editing room, putting on latex
gloves. Jason and Sam are dressed up
and ready to go to the fundraiser; she thanks him for his support in going, and
not just writing a check. He says he is
still going to write a check, but he has learned that sometimes you just have
to show up. Sam agrees and smiles; they
kiss. She says they need to get going,
but sits down to her computer; she is still looking for clues to who is
taunting her. Jason mentions that there
was someone from Drew’s past who came looking for him today. They head out. Jordan and Curtis are in bed again; she worries about being late
to the function. He says New Year’s
parties never start hoppin’ until after 10 pm anyway. As they get ready, he is still trying to delay their
departure. He gets a text from the
television producer, Peyton; it says he’s moved up his flight home and needs to
meet with Curtis tonight. Jordan tells
him just to be back in time to kiss her when the clock turns midnight. She
tells Olivia that Curtis will be there later.
Ned tells Jordan that he needs to talk to her about Lulu disclosing
confidential information; he says her privileges need to be revoked.
Curtis
stumbles into a pile of blood on a couch in the office where he is going to
meet the producer… he turns on the light and finds blood everywhere around the
room, even splattered on the screen where Felicia’s picture is still on
display. No one is in the room though;
“Kevin” tells Ava that he is going to give her everything she wants and he will
kill anyone who tries to stop him.At the party, Scotty tells Laura that he
didn’t feel Kevin ever deserved her in the first place. He is surprised to learn she already knows
about Ava. Olivia is about to announce
the ringing in of 2019; Jordan is sad because Curtis is not there. Everyone blows horns and kisses, and throws
confetti… Kristina hugs Michael… Valerie is acting weird around Kristina…
Curtis calls Jordan and tells her he believes there has been another murder…
“Kevin” kisses Ava. Sam and Jason say happy New Year outside, and kiss. Julian arrives at the hospital to see Drew
and Kim kissing.Drew and Kim agree that it was just nostalgia; Kim tries to
call Julian, but he doesn’t answer.
Willow tells Michael she needs to leave; she says she turns into a
pumpkin after midnight. “Kevin” and Ava
watch the fireworks celebrating the incoming of the new year. Jordan and Curtis tape off the doorway of
the editing room; Chase says, given the amount of blood, it is doubtful the
victim made it out alive. Jason gives
Sam his jacket as they watch the fireworks; Jason notices something behind the
snowman display. He kicks it over and a
body falls out from behind.
