Monday, September 17, 2018 (S56E115): Who are You?

Cameron complains to Liz about being at the hospital; she reminds him he is still grounded.  She notices the cut above his eye and asks him what happened; Oscar reveals, unwittingly, that he got into a fight with Cameron.  Cameron tries to tell his mom that he tripped over a rock while messing around with his friend Tanner; Kim calls Liz and tells her the truth.  Elizabeth grounds Cameron; Drew tells Kim that they need to stop protecting Oscar.  He says he wants to tell him he is sick.  Jos tells Oscar he has nothing to worry about and says they could fight all day, every day and it wouldn’t make a difference; she does have a mind of her own, she reminds him.Kevin is on the phone; he says he has a very special guess coming to see him tonight.  Franco comes in and tells him he has figured out what he is up to, calling him “doctor” sarcastically.  He says he knows his generous wedding gift of unlimited therapy was just his way of getting him in there for more information on his study; he asks if Kevin thinks he will ever really have a place in a family like Elizabeth’s.

Franco is shocked by “Kevin’s” response when he asks if his past will ever stop haunting him; he asks “who are you and what have you done with Dr. Collins?”  “Kevin” quickly recovers, explaining that he just meant it is always with you and you have to learn how to move forward with it.  Franco understands what he means and reinterprets it; “Kevin” asks who the therapist here is.  He encourages Franco to come back soon, saying, “there is so much more to explore.”  Just after Drew tells Kim that too many people already know now, Franco admits to Liz that he saw her and Drew hugging the other day and felt some feelings of inadequacy.  She thanks him for sharing his feelings, but says the hug had nothing to do with them or Drew’s relationship with Jake; Franco asks what it had to do with then.Robyn goes to see Jason; he is happy to see her.  He asks how she and her mom are doing; she calls it a “work in progress.”  She asks Jason how he feels about Peter just being out there free, after stealing five years of his life.  He denies being upset about it; they reminisce about old times and reaffirm their commitment to friendship.Sonny tells Margaux that his father is in no condition to be questioned because it upsets him; she doesn’t care, and continues to ask about the body that has been stashed underneath Charlie’s for decades.

Mike says he doesn’t mind explaining why he was there that night; he goes on to say that he goes there every night because it’s a cool place to hang out.  He says he thought he might talk to the owner about getting his daughter a job; they think he means Kristina, but he laughs, “no she’s still in diapers.”  When Margaux tells him that his daughter has been dead for over twenty-one years, Mike screams, “what?!”  He asks how they dare say something like that; they leave.  Mike, sitting on the couch with his head in his hands, bursts out laughing as they close the door; Sonny looks confused.  Mike asks, “was I good, or was I good?”  He tells Sonny that he isn’t having that many good days anymore, so when the good ones come, he wants to make them count; he says he made the whole thing worse and he intends to fix it.
