Thursday, July 19, 2018 (S56E77): It’s All Part of the Plan

Nelle overhears Michael and Jason talking in the hallway; Michael tells Jason, once the baby is here he is filing for a divorce and suing for full custody.  Liz asks Griffin how Kiki is doing; he says some people have asked how she could do this to such a good man’s career.  Elizabeth says she isn’t alone; Liz is surprised when Franco is brought in.  He is confused when they first ask if he knows who hit him, but he does remember and tells them it was Leisel Obrecht.

Sonny calls Diane and demands that she get him permission to speak with Carly; Mike finds the picture Julian gave Sonny.  He says, “I know these guys” and asks Sonny if he’s in trouble.  He warns Sonny to stay away from Charlie’s Place; he says nothing good is waiting for Sonny there.  Suddenly, Mike doesn’t recognize Felix, or Sonny; he gets angry and upset, demanding to know who they are.  Sonny says they are associates of  his son’s and are there to take care of him; Felix asks Sonny if he has thought about any of the facilities they checked out.  Sonny says he isn’t ready for that yet; Felix points out that he could still go see his dad everyday, while letting the staff deal with the tantrums and the headaches.  Sonny says he makes it sound very appealing.  Carly stands in a straight jacket; nurse Mary Pat comes in with a sedative, ordered by the doctor on call while Kevin is on vacation.  Carly tries to refuse it, but it is forced upon her; Rupert holds Carly, but he tries to argue in her favor.  Sonny goes to Ferncliff; he tells Rupert he wants to see his wife.  Rupert says he can’t help him right now; Carly sits in her cell, looking like she’s in a trance.Curtis and Sam determine that

Nina knows where Obrecht is; they ask Maxie when the last time she saw her was.  Maxie can’t believe it when they tell her they think Leisel might have killed Peter.  Obrecht walks in on Nina and Peter talking… she tells Peter he has come to “the end of the road.”  Nina tells her this is over; she tells Nina, “now you’ve left me no choice.”  She tells Nina there is a silver lining to betrayal; she no longer owes Nina anything, and can finish this her way.  Nina begins to cry and tells her aunt this can’t end this way; she begs Leisel to please just let Peter go.  She says it’s time she something for herself; she has a bottle of whiskey with a rag stuffed in it, and a lighter.

When Sam mentions the West Nile quarantine, Maxie tells her they just did an article on that for Crimson.  Valentin is surprised when he sees Franco trying to stand up on the docks; he calls out to him.  Franco passes back out; Valentin tries to wake him, then sees a piece a broken bottle with writing on it.  He picks it up; Chase thinks he has a weapon and tells him to drop it, pointing his gun at Valentin.  Valentin tries to explain, but Chase says he can do that down at the station.  Maxie insists that Nina wouldn’t have been involved in Peter’s disappearance; Sam and Curtis insist she might know something though.
