Ava has filed
charges against Mike for kidnapping Avery; Dante tells Sonny that his
connections make the case even more difficult to defend. Carly has scheduled an appointment with
Kevin; Sonny tells her to go ahead and go.
He says he’ll be home with Mike before long. Kevin tells Carly that he can’t sign off on her sanity just yet;
he suggests a few more sessions and prescribes her an anti-anxiety
medication. Michael sees Carly at the
hospital; she hides the prescription Kevin gave her. Griffin overhears Ava talking to Scotty about suing Sonny for
full custody; he questions whether that is the right thing to do. He tells her penalizing Mike is only going
to add to his suffering, and to his family’s suffering; Ava gets irritated and
says she doesn’t give a damn about Sonny’s suffering. Sonny talks to his dad; Mike tells Sonny that he is so sorry he
screwed up his life again.
Kiki shows up right on time for her shadow program; Bensch tells her she is late… early is on time, he says; one time is late. He is being extremely hard on her. Griffin sees this and asks if there is anything he can do to help, offering to report Bensch to the board; Kiki says she doesn’t want to cause any problems or raise the appearance of having any favors done for her, and asks Griffin not to say anything. He tells her okay, but says he is there if she needs him; she hugs him, as Bensch peers around the corner watching them.
Curtis brings Jordan breakfast at the office; she tries to tell him she’s busy, but he insists on staying. She receives a phone call about medical records; she is having her records sent to General Hospital. She tells Curtis she went to see the doctor about her cough and they found a spot on her lung. Curtis wants to know what that means for her, but Jordan doesn’t even want to entertain the thought that it might be cancer, even though she had a grandmother who died from it.
