Friday, June 22, 2018 (S56E59): Who’s There?

Jason is at work, as a janitor at Ferncliff; the guard has him open the door, for him to take lunch trays in.  Carly dumps all three trays, ‘trying’ to take one; the guard gets mad and tells Jason to clean it up, pushing his mop in the door.  Jason closes the door, and Carly smiles.  Jason compliments her on making Rupert drop the trays, but tells her not to do it again.  He says she needs to be a model prisoner; Carly says she can’t stand Mary Pat calling her Caroline, and reminding her that Morgan is dead; she says she wants to slap her across the face.  Jason tells her that woman has it out for her; Carly wonders why.  He tells her to just wait it out; she says she will do her best.  Rupert comes back and asks if he’s done; Jason says yes.  Carly asks for her dinner; Rupert tells her she isn’t going to eat until the next mean, since she dropped her tray.

Mike asks Sonny if he knew Charlie; Sonny says he never stepped foot in this place until Julian bought it.  Sonny thinks Mike might be mistaken, but Mike insists he knows that man.  Mike gets upset and Sonny tries to calm him; Margo (the D.A.) walks in the door and asks if there is a problem.  Sonny tells her this is his father and says she can leave them alone; she asks Mike if he’s okay, and Mike says yes.  He says they were discussing when Sonny got “into the business.”  She asks if he means coffee; Sonny sends his dad to get more coffee and tells Margo to stay out of his business and leave his dad alone.  She tells him he doesn’t want her for an enemy; he says there is probably no avoiding that.  She says, “then let the games begin” and leaves.  Sonny calls Max and asks him to look into a guy named Charlie Delaney, who used to live around there.

Sam and Curtis think Peter is hiding somewhere in Port Charles, and somebody is helping him.  Sam recalls how Julian switched places with Peter; she thinks it was part of Valentin’s plan.  She thinks he also gave Peter his cell phone, but says something went wrong; between going to the hotel and the jet, Peter disappeared.  They wonder who else might be helping Peter; they decide to go search Peter’s hotel room again.  Nina comes back to her office, to find “Morocco.”  Valentin welcomes her; he says they can’t live without each other.  She gets angry and tells Julian the only thing it reminds her of is how she should have never given their marriage another chance.  She says because of his silence, her brother is dead; she also says, because of him, she’s had to take justice into her own hands.  He asks what she means by that; she says it’s just metaphoric.  He says she looks nervous; she says she has a lot of work to do.  He tells her, if she is in trouble he will help her, but she has to let him.

Alexis is relieved when Julian says he will go to therapy with her, to try to give her closure.  She suggests they start now; Kevin agrees to see them.  He tells her to explain to Julian why they are there, and what she hopes to accomplish with this therapy.  She talks about her father, and her mother, and compares it to their relationship; he says there is no comparison.  He says he had no choice; he couldn’t risk his family’s lives… she laughs as she recounts him holding a knife to his throat and he gets upset.  He says if this is just going to be an hour of raking him over the coals, he wants to call the whole thing off.  He threatens to leave, but Kevin suggests they try something more structured; Julian sits back down.  He begins asking Julian questions; he asks what it was about Alexis that encouraged him to pursue her.  Julian says he wanted redemption; he saw, in her, the chance to be redeemed.  He agrees to come back again.  Jason and Carly hear a muffled scream coming from the room next to hers; Jason asks Kevin who is in there.
