Carly bumps into Franco at the hospital;
they exchange some not-so-friendly words.
She walks away; Franco catches up with her at the elevators. He thanks Carly for what she did for Kiki
after the shooting; then acknowledges Morgan’s responsibility. She tells him, he of all people should
understand; tells him not to talk about her kids anymore. Anna calls Paul out on his desire to have
Carlos killed by Sonny; he denies it of course. As Paul is leaving Anna’s house, Jordan comes to the door; she
asks him what the hell is going on. He
ends up telling her that Anna tried to shoot Carlos before; says he is trying
to protect her by issuing the warrant.
Sonny
is shocked to see Carlos dressed as a priest.
Sonny asks if it was a trap, or if he just got lucky – Carlos is
pointing a gun at Sonny… he laughs at the situation. Makes fun of Sonny’s desperation to find him; Sonny is getting
pissed off. Hayden talks to Curtis at the
café; thinks she has the ELQ shares in hand.
Curtis asks if she any regrets (she says more than she can
count). But, she says, what’s done is
done and there is nothing that can be done to change that. Jason tells Nikolas that he is there to buy
ALL 50 of the the shares of ELQ currently being held by Nikolas (the same ones Hayden is demanding be signed
over to her). Lulu and Dante are in the park, getting
ready to do some more homework on their marriage counseling; they run into
Valerie. Valerie excuses herself, and
Lulu asks her to wait… Lulu proposes that they put things behind them; she congratulates Valerie on her graduation from the academy – she and Dante then get started on the therapy exercises. Franco continues the conversation, just trying to look
out for Kiki; he takes a few jabs at Sonny and their relationship at home
perhaps not being so great – she tells him he doesn’t know anything, especially
what Sonny is doing right now.
Hayden tells Curtis she
won’t need his protection services anymore.
She tells him she is not spending another night anywhere Nikolas ever
again (thinking ‘her’ ELQ shares will enable her to pay for a new life). Anna gets all dramatic, and tricks the guard,
knocking him to the ground, getting off the plane… Sonny asks Carlos if he was
the one who shot him and put him in a wheelchair; Carlos laughs. Of course, it was him – he orders Sonny to
kneel down in front of the Virgin Mary and say a prayer (so he can time it to
put a bullet in his head just as he says Amen). Lulu and Dante practice a ‘perception vs. reality’ exercise,
saying something to each other and having the other person repeat what they
said. They are realizing that they
don’t really listen very well to each other.
Hayden gets up to leave; Curtis asks her if they could be friends,
really…just friends. She appreciates
that and hugs him. Says she could
actually use a friend.
Valerie shows up
to see the hug, and questions Curtis what it was about. Nikols is offended by Jason’s offer, saying
it’s pennies on the dollar – Jason tells him either he accepts the deal, or
he’s going to the police with the information he has on Nikolas (the same
information Hayden/Rachael is blackmailing him with). Nikolas relents, with a condition. Nikolas tries to warn Sam that Jason is not good for her; they
leave. Franco tells Carly he knows her
well enough to know when she is lying, and angry, and hurt… admits that he
doesn’t give a shit about Sonny though.
Sonny begins to pray (hopefully, he will make it a long, drawn-out
prayer) – Carlos starts to laugh at him; he makes a comment about Duke that
pisses Sonny off. Sonny hits him and
knocks the gun out of his hands; now Sonny is hold the gun on Carlos… and
Carlos is begging for his life. Sonny
tells him it wasn’t the plan to shoot him, but sometimes plans change. When Hayden comes home asking if Nikolas has
the papers sign, he tells her no – the stocks are no longer his to give. Anna arrives at the church just in time to
see Carlos lunging to grab the gun from Sonny; the gun goes off.
