Carly tries to wake Dr. Finn
up; she looks at the syringe and ponders what he did to himself. Franco calls Nina; she’s ignoring his calls
– she’s hiding out at Maxie and Nathan’s.
They look concerned when she tells them she can never go back to her
place. Julian meets with Ava in the park;
he tells her no one will be troubling her again. Paul asks Jordan if Rivera said anything; she asks about what…
his part in this whole sorry mess, or that Anna tried to kill him. He looks surprised that she knows. Anna has resigned herself to whatever
happens next. Paul confronts Anna. Jordan tells him to back off – she needs to
ask Anna some questions; she asks if it’s true that Anna tried to kill Carlos. Kiki rests on the couch and talks with
Franco (she asks if he was faking it when he thought he was her dad); he tells
her no, but she is the only kid he needs.
Maxie tells Nina not to give up on Franco; she leaves to take care of
things at the office… tells Nina to take a ‘me’ day. After she leaves, Nina asked what she missed. Carly calls for help; Finn wakes up. She demands to know what is going on with
him. He tells her he is diabetic –
injected too much insulin. Carly doesn’t
buy it. Julian tells Ava if Carols
turns on him, he may be going to prison… for conspiracy to murder. Jordan brings Anna in for questioning; Anna
admits to shooting Carlos on Pier 54.
She explains how she arrested him, but he continually taunted her with
the fact that he wouldn’t be convicted and she knew he was right; it was a
perversion of justice she couldn’t stand for, so she shot him (four
times). She goes on to explain that
everything was a set up – he was wearing a bullet-proof vest and blood capsules
and goaded her into shooting him. She
accepts that she will have to go to prison, but is glad at least Carlos can
testify against Paul. Jordan asks what
exactly Carlos knows about Paul.
Olbrecht shows up at Dr. Finn’s hotel room to tell him she has dismissed
the residents; he is too late. She
tells him his behavior today proves he is not qualified to save patients lives
at General Hospital. Kiki tells Franco
that he does a pretty good job of parenting her… he acknowledges that, but says
he doesn’t want to do it with his own kids.
Nina asks Nathan why he is lying by omission to Maxie; he claims not
wanting to burden her with some stupid decision he made when he was
younger. Nina knows there is more to it
and says he should come clean with Maxie.
Maxie runs into Griffin, literally, as she steps off the elevator; they
sit down to talk – he tells her that he is Duke’s son. She tells him she is really sorry he never
got a chance to meet Duke; she says he was really a great person. Next morning, Anna comes to talk to Carlos,
telling him she is ready to be arrested; tells him to do what he needs to
do. Paul watches with intent. Carlos says he wants to speak to the
District Attorney first; Jordan says she wants to be present, but Paul kicks
them both out.
Franco says he wants to
go find Nina; Kiki begs him not to leave her there alone… a car backfires and
she screams and ducks again. Franco
comforts her. Paul tells Carlos he will
go easy on him if he rolls over on his former boss, Julian Jerome. Julian admits to Ava limited involvement in
the organization, but he assures her he’s not that deep. Nina offers Nathan some advice; she says to
tell Maxie that he will do anything to make her happy, that he lives to make
her happy, that he will give up anything for her. Carlos tells Finn that no one will hear about his ‘diabetes’ from
her; Finn realizes that he has screwed up and wonders what he’s going to do
now. Nina comes home… Nathan runs into hotel lobby and tells Maxie
pretty much what Nina told him to say; asks her to promise that they can spend
the rest of their lives together – he drops to his knee and proposes. Paul comes out and tells Anna that what
Carlos is going to say is anyone’s guess; Carlos makes his phone call (to
Julian).
